객체지향 데이터베이스 설계를 위한 데이터 모델링에 관한 연구 (A Study on Date Modeling for Object - Oriented Database Design)

  • Object-Oriented method is a rather difficult one, theories are different as many as they are, and can hardly be found well-applied examples of OOD. So, this paper deal with the history, the needs, the benefits, basic concept of object-oriented design methods, especially the designing procedure which covers from analyzing the requirements, designing the EER(extended entity relationship) model, transforming this model into relational schema, to OODB schema step. Major contributions can be identified; First, the proposed method will ensure that it improve the productivity, increase the software quality, and elevate the maintainability. Second, it provide the framework of how object-oriented schema is constructed for OODB design. Third, suggested realistic case study will enhance the better understanding of how the current business process will be applied to the OODB design step.

XML과 온톨로지를 이용한 공학 설계 데이터의 상호운용성 증진에 관한 연구 (Improving the interoperability of mechanical design data using XML and ontology)

  • As the complexity of engineering design environment has increased, it is difficult to exchange design data among design support systems. The purpose of this paper is to develop the XML-based Generalized Mechanical Data Exchange Formats(GMDEF) independent of specific mechanical element and improve the interoperability of them using ontology, in order to integrate diverse design data and facilitate communication between design support systems. GMDEF consists of PartDoc and AssemblyDoc. PartDoc represents the information of a single part. AssemblyDoc represents the relation of parts constituting an assembly. GMDEF is validated by GMDEF Schema. GMDEF Schema consists of separated XML Schemas and has flexible architecture to facilitate extension. We apply ontology to GMDEF Schema to share and reuse vocabularies of specific mechanical elements.

기본의미등록기의 RDF/OWL 연계방안에 관한 연구 (Designing Schemes to Associate Basic Semantics Register with RDF/OWL)

  • 기본의미등록기(BSR)는 전자상거래 및 EDI 관련 시스템 사이의 상호연동을 가능하게 하기 위한 등록기이다. XML 기반 BSR 등록개체들의 구조정보나 다양한 관계의 자동추출은 현재 불가능하다. 이 연구에서는 BSR에 등록되는 정보를 자원기술-프레임웍(RDF)과 웹온톨로지언어(OWL)에 기반하는 기계가독형으로 정의한 대표적인 예를 제시하고 결론적으로 5개의 기본 권고안을 도출하였다. 즉 BSR 컴포넌트 소속의 클래스 정의에서 동의어의 표현에는 OWL의 'sameAs', 유사어 표현에는 OWL의 'equivalenlClass', BSR 개념들 간의 상.하 관계 표현은 RDF 스키마의 'subClassOF', BSR의 의미단위(BSU)에 관한 정의는 RDF 스키마의 'label', 인스턴스 용례에 관한 설명은 RDF 스키마의 'comment', 각 BSU의 클래스 소속에 관한 정의는 RDF 스키마의 'domain', BSU가 취할 수 있는 데이터유형에 대한 정의는 RDF 스키마의 'range'등을 적용하며, 나아가 BSR 데이터요소의 정의에 XML 스키마의 데이터 유형을 접목시키고 BSU들 간의 상.하 관계 표현에 RDF 스키마의 'subPropertyOF'를 적용할 것을 추천하였다.

  • 본 논문에서는 기존의 항만물류 EDI의 문제점을 살펴보고 이러한 문제점을 해결하기 위해 Microsoft의 BizTalk Framework에 기반한 XML/EDI 시스템을 설계하고 구현한 방법을 소개한다. 본 시스템의 기본 구조는 애플리케이션과 BizTalk 서버로 구성되어 있다. 또한 데이터의 흐름은 클라이언트 프로그램을 통해 데이터를 입력받고 XML 파일로 데이터를 저장·전송하게 된다. 그리고 이 XML 파일을 BizTalk 서버에서 미리 정의된 XML Schema를 이용하여 표준 EDI 문서로 변환하여 목적지에 보내게 된다.

온톨로지 BIM 기반 지식 서비스 프레임웍 아키텍처 개발 (Ontology BIM-based Knowledge Service Framework Architecture Development)

  • Recently, the demand for connection between various heterogeneous dataset and BIM as a construction data model hub is increasing. In the past, in order to connect model between BIM and heterogeneous dataset, related dataset was stored in the RDBMS, and the service was provided by programming a method to link with the BIM object. This approach causes problems such as the need to modify the database schema and business logic, and the migration of existing data when requirements change. This problem adversely affects the scalability, reusability, and maintainability of model information. This study proposes an ontology BIM-based knowledge service framework considering the connectivity and scalability between BIM and heterogeneous dataset. Through the proposed framework, ontology BIM mapping, semantic information query method for linking between knowledge-expressing dataset and BIM are presented. In addition, to identify the effectiveness of the proposed method, the prototype is developed. Also, the effectiveness and considerations of the ontology BIM-based knowledge service framework are derived.

영암사지(靈巖寺址) 금당의 목조 가구구조(架構構造) 복원에 관한 연구 (A Research on the Reconstruction of Wooden Frame Structure of Kumdang in Yongamsaji)

  • The purpose of this study is to reconstruct the wooden frame structure of Buddhist temple, Kumdang in Youngamsaji which assumed to be built in the 9th century of Unified Silla Dynasty. The remaining site of Kumdang in Youngamsaji is investigated thoroughly with a particular attention to bay size and column distribution. The five ancient Buddhist temples which were built in the same period also have the same frame type as Youngamsaji Kumdang. These five ancient Buddhist temples and Kumdang in Youngamsaji are meticulously investigated in terms of their bay sizes and measuring modules. The framework schema is devised as a conceptual tool to conjecture wooden frame structures of Buddhist temple. A theoretical differentiation between frame type and frame structure is attempted to formulated a wooden frame structure as a stepping-stone for the reconstruction of traditional wooden building. The wooden frame structure of 9C Kumdang in Youngamsaji mainly follows the oldest Korean wooden pavilion, Muryangsujeon in Busuk temple, with a hip and gable roof. The wooden frame structure of 9C Kumdang in Youngamsaji is reconstructed through 3D computer modeling to such an extent that every wooden components of the structure can be 3D printed. The reconstruction also takes reference from the Cai-Fen system in Yingzao Fashi.

고려시대 주심포 불전의 가구형식에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Framework Schema of Jusimpo-Style Buddhist Halls of Goryeo Period)

  • The purpose of this study is to find framework schema of early J usimpo-style Buddhist halls (Geungnakjeon Hall of Bongjeongsa Temple, Muryangsujeon Hall of Buseoksa Temple, and Daeungjeon Hall of Sudeoksa Temple). Though the halls are known as built in the late Goryeo Period, they show the influence of the architectural style of the early Unified Silla Period. To find the adopted modules and proportions of these halls, this study conceived a schematic diagram based on the whole frame structure taking reference from the Cai-Fen system in Yingzao Fashi. In these three halls, the heights of each cross-beam (Dori) are made up by the layers of member and member units. This study computes the values of Cai, Zhi, and Fen which can apply to both the section and the plan. The vertical section structure is determined by combining the standard member heights (Cai) and the standard unit heights (CaiZhi). The bays of columns are made by multiples of the standard member width (Fen).

How much change is optimal when a brand is newly rebranded?

  • There are many cases of rebranding and its numbers are growing. However, rebranding is still under research in the academic field, and there is no guideline on the effective way to change brand name. The objective of this paper is to integrate two inconsistent predictions from categorization theory and schema incongruity theory: a negative linear relationship (categorization theory) versus an inverted-U-shape relationship (schema incongruity theory) between brand name incongruity and consumer evaluation into one framework. Specifically, this study examines how the effect of incongruity between an existing brand name and a new brand name (hereafter called "brand name incongruity") on the new brand name attitude differs depending on a consumer's individual characteristics (need for cognition). The experiment demonstrates that consumers with a high need for cognition show a better attitude towards a new brand name when the brand name was rebranded moderately incongruent compared to congruent or extremely incongruent. Thus, the experiment demonstrates that there is an inversed U-shape relationship between brand name incongruity and new brand name evaluation for consumers with a high need for cognition. On the contrary, consumers with a low need for cognition show a better attitude towards a new brand name when the brand name is rebranded congruently compared to incongruent conditions (moderate incongruity and extreme incongruity). This result indicates that there is a negative linear relationship between brand name incongruity and new brand name evaluation. Key theoretical and managerial implications of the present study are as follows. This study integrates two alternative views of research on incongruity evaluation into one framework by demonstrating that need for cognition moderates the relationship between brand name incongruity and consumer evaluation. This present study provides a conceptual basis for understanding consumer evaluation towards a new brand name. Next, though rebranding is a very important decision making of brand management, there is no guideline on how to change a brand name. The findings of this research can suggest which degree of change is optimal when rebranding in order to utilize and strengthen existing brand equity. More specifically, when our target customer has high need for cognition, moderately incongruent rebranding can be optimal, whereas for those with low need for cognition, rebranding in accordance with existing brand name will be optimal.

스마트폰 UX에서 개념 메타포의 재매개 특성에 관한 연구 (Remediation Property of Conceptual Metaphor in Smartphone UX)

  • 본 연구는 스마트폰으로 인한 사용자 경험의 확장과 변화를 체현인지 이론에 입각한 개념 메타포 관점에서 고찰하고 그 재매개 특성을 고찰하였다. 본 연구의 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 개념 메타포의 중심 이미지 스키마인 그릇 이미지 스키마와 경로 이미지 스키마는 인간의 신체적 경험에 의한 체현적 스키마 구조를 포함하고 있어 스마트폰을 통한 사용자 경험을 매핑시키기에 적합한 이론이다. 둘째, 재매개의 관점에서 고찰한 스마트폰의 사용자 경험은 인간은 스마트폰에 의해 재매개되고 물리공간은 행위 공간에 재매개되어 상호작용하고 있는 특성을 발견할 수 있었다. 셋째, 스마트폰 UX의 개념메타포는 암묵적인 상호작용을 통해 그릇 이미지 스키마를 활성화시키면서 매체의 실존성을 망각시키는 투명한 즉시성을 가지고 있음을 발견할 수 있었다. 넷째, 명시적인 상호작용을 통해 활성화되는 경로 이미지 스키마는 매개된 매체의 하이퍼매개를 경험하게 하는 특성을 발견할 수 있었다. 본 연구에서 고찰한 개념메타포와 재매개 이론은 스마트폰 사용으로 인한 새로운 사용자 경험을 설명하는데 이론적 기반으로 활용될 수 있을 것으로 본다.

  • The target of design is a harmony between Beauty and Usefulness. Design is a result from representation of visual language by designer's creative thinking system. also, As an ill-defined problem cannot be described completely. and subjectively interpret depend on the situation, it is very difficult to present a theoretical standard. There have been many Design Sciences researches in recent years. such as Rule Based Design, Parametric Design, Replacement Design, Analogy Design, Metaphor Design, Genetic Algorithm. but Objective research is still unsatisfactory condition to investigate true nature about Design. At this point, It is very important to formulating about meaning of Design Language and Thinking. This study will define about that, and based on this definition, Lay out a logical basis for Treatment design variable and materialization of process by "Elements", "Relationship", "Schema". ultimately it look forward to provide a framework and minimize the complexity about Design Thinking.
