Investigation on the Consciousness in Business Foundation Motives for Small Business Enterprisers in Korean Multi-Cultural Families

  • Purpose - The concept of lifetime job has disappeared, and men are interested in business foundation to work continuously with similar jobs. The value of business foundation is thought to be important in accordance with the viewpoint of society, government, individuals and family. Research design, data, and methodology - The economic exchange between South Korea and China has been expanded, and they are likely to play an important role in entry into China by business foundation in accordance with economic exchange between the two countries. As Korean residents inflow overseas, small businessmen business foundation shall be given attention scientifically and Korean Chinese business foundation shall be given attention as well. Results - The study investigated the effects on psychological characteristics and small business foundation motives upon business foundation will by using models. Self-efficacy and self achievement had positive influence upon small business foundation of Korean Chinese. The use of control variable had explanatory power (29.6%). Conclusions - The findings would help the government's small business foundation system to promote small business foundation and to be a guide for expansion in Korean Chinese's small business markets. An education program should be developed to strengthen Korean Chinese's self efficacy considering psychological characteristics.

  • Due to the social problems including recent economic crisis and unemployment rate increase, the demand of business foundation market has been increased and, in the meantime, on the basis of the business foundation support policy of the government including youth foundation support policy and Small & Medium Business Administration foundation planning, business foundation market has been showing steady growth trend. With this enlargement of foundation market, as the accompanied increase of franchise market is expected, it is considered that the importance of more realistic and concrete research about franchise market be larger than before. This study considered brand image, main office support, foundation cost, information search activity as the advanced variable of effect on brand selection and established the cause of effect on brand selection by improving the existing advanced research, and its result is as follows. First, according to foundation business kind, age, sex, yes or no of marriage, there is some difference III the thought about brand image and foundation possibility. Second, Second, the most important factor of franchise contract intention is economical specificity. It is difficult to consider brand image, franchise support and information search activity as the property having a big effect on preliminary founder, and it was shown that the cost for franchise management(Consistency with initial foundation cost and self-capital, promotion cost, management fund, facility/equipment reinvestment, etc.) is an important property. Specially, it was shown that consistency with initial foundation cost and self-capital is the most important factor for preliminary founder.

  • The study is aimed to recognize the meaning of foundation study through understanding history and flow of foundation study in Korea. The analysis period is from 1998 when there was first boom of venture foundation in Korea after IMF to 2013 September when the latest thesis was made, and the analysis intends total 382 dissertations the online. The analysis was conducted in the fields of foundation study, foundation support, foundation steps, founding company forms, founder's demographic features, and from the analysis, the following conclusion could be drawn out. First, the field actively carrying out foundation studies is the business management & economics field, but the foundation is dealt as an object of study across the all industries. It could be identified that of the all industries, especially IT industry, food service industry, and contents industry are the fields showing much interest about the foundation. Second, the field attracting most keen attention among the fields of foundation support was the field related with the founders. Third, the main problem relevant to foundation study was that the foundation was judged in comprehensive viewpoint, not being judged with strategies, in detail. Fourth, investing from the company's form aspect, it was found that during the starting period, the main foundation trend was the venture firm foundation, but recently the foundation-relevant attention is focused on the small business foundation and the most dominant founder type is the youth including college students, and the women's foundation is paid continual attention and senior foundation is being actively discussed. According to these analyzed results, future foundation studies should actively promote the general foundation studies, the specified foundation studies reflecting each industry's specialities, the fusion studies.

Tax Planning, Financial Constraints and Investment Management: Empirical Evidence from Pakistan

  • The aim of this study is to provide insight into tax avoidance through planning and management, and its investment consequences in financially constrained and unconstrained firms, as well as to empirically examine the interrelationships between the variables studied. Data was extracted from the financial statement analysis of non-financial companies listed on the Pakistan stock exchange (PSX) published by the State Bank of Pakistan, covering ten major manufacturing sectors. KZ index and WW index are used to identify financially constrained and unconstrained firms. Tax avoidance is measured by using GETR and LETR. All the equations are estimated through panel data regression models using common, fixed, and random effects. The empirical investigation of the role of tax avoidance in all firms collectively and constrained and unconstrained firms separately showed that the tax avoidance behavior of these firms is translated into investments by these firms. The study will help policymakers in strategy formulation and implementation related to tax planning and investment decisions in constrained and unconstrained firms to overcome their financial constraints and to optimize their investment decisions for value maximization. This will substantially increase the investment in the country by providing growth opportunities and lowering the tax rates.

A Study on the Actual Wearing Condition of Foundation Garment for Adult Women - Focusing on the Brassiere and Girdle - (성인여성(成人女性)의 연령별(年齡別) 파운데이션 착용실태 연구(着用失態 硏究) - 브래지어와 거들을 중심(中心)으로 -)

  • The purpose of this study is to provide for the basic data useful to the effective production and marketing of the foundation garment befitting adult women's shapes and preferences, and thereby, help them improve their apparel life. For this purpose, 563 Korean women aged between 20-59 were sampled to survey their recognition and actual wearing condition of foundation garments and positively identify the factors affecting the practices and thereupon, determine the correlations among them by age group. The raw data of this study is processed by SPSS Win(10.1) and analyzed by using frequency, percentage, $x^2$-test, ANOVA, Duncan-test. The most of adult women were aware of their foundation size and the absolute majority of them wore brassieres, while a half of them used the girdles. The adult women had 5.7 Brassieres and 2.2 Girdles. The use of the foundation depended much on user's age or seasons. They had begun to wear Brassieres at their age of 15 on an average and Girdle around their age of 19 depending their individual needs. It has been found through this study that adult women's is actual wearing condition of foundation garments differ by age group, which may well suggest that foundation production need to consideration this age-wise practices when setting up their foundation production and marketing strategies.

  • In this paper, it is indicated that, currently, foundation of small and medium businesses is generally increasing in number, but the establishment of manufacturing companies is very slow. This is because of many factors interfering with promotion of the opening of small and medium businesses such as endless bakruptcies of the businesses and uncertain perspective. Therefore, it will be expected to encourage people to start business and activate establishment of small and medium sized manufacturing companies by improving tax support systems and providing tax support information services for founed companies and foundation supporting companies.

The Moderating Effect of COVID-19 on the Promotion, Distribution and Sales of Dairy Products in Western India: An Exploratory Study

  • Purpose: This study aims at exploring and understanding the effect of four independent variables related to dairy retail marketing and distribution (deep freezers, promotions, company support and distributor-retailer relationship) and one moderating variable Covid-19 lockdown on sales of dairy product during the Covid 19 pandemic situation. Research design and methodology: Personal interviews and door-to-door surveys and promotional tools were designed to publicise and collect data from the retailers. The sale data before, during and after promotion activity were all recorded and evaluated to draw an inferential conclusion. Factor analysis and multiple regression methods were adopted to analyses the data collected. Results: The research shows that four out of the five factors studied was found having significant impact on dairy retail sales. The highest impact on sales was contributed by promotions, secondly by the deep freezer impact followed by distributor-retailer relationship during the study period and lastly but not the least due to influence of Covid-19 lockdown. Conclusions: The study contributes to the body of knowledge in cold chain distribution process through utilization of right mix of tools and tactics for effective marketing and distribution of dairy products in developing countries especially during a pandemic situation.

  • In the past three yesrs(2011-2009), a recent study found that the freshman demand employment 60.2%(average the three yesrs), foundation of company(include self-empolyment) 4.0%, entrance into graduate school(include study abroad) 13.5% and the others are net yet decision 22.3%. Very small numbers are want to establish company's business. Freshman prefer employment's safety than the foundation of company can be chancy business. The purpose of this study is survey and analyze out the reason, then present an alternative proposal in the problem concern of establish construction company's business. The survey and analyze out subjects for the students who majored in construction engineering.
