  • To investigate effect of organization justice on organizational commitment, I surveyed the concept of organization justice, organizational commitment and organizational citizenship behavior and then I reviewed what formative factors of organization justice increased organizational commitment or what formative factors of organization justice and organizational commitment increased organizational citizenship behavior. The result of this study proved that organization justice and organizational commitment influenced organizational citizenship behavior a lot and the purpose of this study was carried out like following ; The formative factors of organization justice, that is, procedure fairness and distribution fairness come out by theoretical study influenced organization commitment and the formative factors of organization commitment, commitment about company and turnover influenced organizational citizenship behavior. In addition, the hypothesis that the higher the organization justice is, the higher the organizational commitment was positive. Therefore, in position control of restaurant employees, giving employees the motive of organization commitment as procedure fairness and distribution fairness control strictly enable employees to have citizenship about organization and enable employers to control employees effectively.

  • The purpose of the study was to investigate unique field of formative characteristics using copper wire, the present thesis aims at developing concept of hair art as a creative way, and recognizing the formative characteristics of copper wire as analyze and arrange the concept of hair art, formative, a way of practical application, material aspect, through literature, academic journals, photo data, and researched about prior piece, for example, architecture and costume with hair art, and then pieces of hair art were made. Influenced by the theory, applied the social phenomenon and the formative principles, produced the seven pieces which includes flying, composure, yahoo, harmony, balance, way, spring etc. The results of this research are outlined below. Firstly, It showed that the copper wire can express the mysterious and beautiful formative world, and it could know the possibility of design. Secondly, formative activity using copper wire can differ according to approach and interpretation, and it can be a works with aesthetic value. Thirdly, hair could be express the art of the three-dimensional forms which constitute the mixture of line, surface and space. Fourthly, the handicraft including beading, pleat, piping, rolling that used for works are proper to express the unique formative and the rich colors, and it can also express the transparency. So it showed that copper wire is a proper materials. So, hair art has enlarged the fields with development of technique, and changed to recognition of the hair art, and opened up a new field. Hair art will be positive fields to maximize the possibility, and not only the beauty artist but also the public will be communicate each other.

Formative Characteristics of Contemporary Men's and Women's Suits

  • This study provides references that can be applied to future suit design by analyzing the formative characteristics of modern men's and women's suits. Research on related literature and case studies were carried out simultaneously. A criterion for analyzing formative characteristics of suits was drawn up through an examination of past research. A total of 1,410 suit photographs that appeared in the U.S. edition of Vogue Magazine from 1985 to 2008 were analyzed in order to observe the formative characteristics of men's and women's suits. Research results showed that in the 1980s suits pursued a more comfortable and natural fit based on the original properties of simplicity, modernity, and practicality; in addition, women's suits had a tendency to use excessive shoulder pads due to the power-look influence. In the early 1990s exaggerated shoulders and boxy straight silhouettes were in fashion but towards the later years suit designs gradually started to fit the body and established a skinny versus slouch conflict. Women's suits gradually began to show more curvy body lines, and men's suits became more feminine on the surface in terms of color and material. In the 2000s suits have become more feminine and sensual than the 1990s, design focuses of both men's and women's suits moved to the waistline. Skinny and long styles became the ideal silhouette and differences between formative characteristics of the two genders decreased. Fashion elements of men's and women's suits are seen to have changed with a mutual intimate connection under the influence of a similar societal environment.

An analysis on the Formative Aesthetic of Thierry Mugler' Clothing (Thierry Mugler의 의상에 나타난 조형미 분석)

  • This study analyzed the works, introduced in the collections of Thierry Mugler in an aim to identify formative aesthetic and design concepts. As the data to study the creative concepts and expressions of the designer, fashion photographs were gathered in a focus on collections. The formative aesthetic expressed in the works of Thierry Mugler were characterized by the eroticism and the futurism. The formative aesthetic of eroticism were specified into the sexualism, primitivism and fetishism, and those of futurism were divided into the cosmocorps and the grotesque. The eroticism was based on the design concept on the body of woman. The sexuality was expressed through the design concept of opposing, extreme and conversion method. The primitivism was presented through the design concept of extreme method to express a returning to nature and a nostalgia and an adoration for the past. The pieces, expressed the fetishism, was presented through opposing concepts, such as a bondage and an extreme expose. It was indicated that the design concept of futurism was based on the future. The cosmocorps was expressed through the extreme method by using geometrical formative aesthetic and contrast color combination. The grotesque represented the mysterious and abhorrent futurism through the design concept of depaysment conversion and analogy.

  • This paper focuses on development of a fashion design education course that will foster the talent and aesthetic consciousness of fashion design student. The writer reached the content of the designing ideas to practical applications as the defined scope of fashion design education. For designing idea in practical application : matching ideas, contrasting ideas, formative combinations and revisionism were used. For design ideas, the ideas developed by 飯塚弘子, 万江入重子, 香川達子 were used in revision. To detail the content of design education, fashion magazines, portfolios, photographs and related fashion design educational materials were used. 1. Matching ideas : it proposes such identical expression into costume by making a research of developing material, application form and color extraction from design sources. 2. Contrasting ideas : it proposes such opposite expression into costume by making a research of opposite to image, form, position and purpose from some object. 3. Formative combinations : it proposes such new expression into costume by combining a detail of costume with the other object. 4. Revisionism : it proposes such modified expression into costume by making a research of deletion, change, addition and conversion in costume.

The Analysis of Korean Formative-Artistic Characteristics in the HanBok Fashion (한복 패션에 나타난 한국적 디자인의 조형적 특징 분석)

  • The purpose of this research was to analyze the Korean Formative-Artistic Characteristics which were expressed by Hanbok designers. In this research, Hanbok style is a combination of two main things: formative-artistic factors of the Korean past, which naturally focuses on the peculiarity of the tradition and the modern aspects of clothing. Hanbok fashion is defined as all products created by Hanbok designers that incorporate traditional design factors, but do not follow it exactly. There are four formative-artistic characteristics of Korean designs in the Hanbok fashion. The first is the practical usage of the form and the second is the application of texture, color and patterns of materials which are synonymous with traditional Korean costumes; the third, by utilizing specific features, such as a the string of Jeogori(jacket), the round line of Jeogori sleeve, quilting, slit of Dofo (coat), the line of goreum and git (collar), the beauty of the Hanbok can be expressed in various ways; finally, the decorations added to the clothing, like embroidery, dying, patchwork, and beaten silver have been used to express Korean beauty in a modern sense. At the conclusion of the research, the study suggests the following recommendations to upgrade the Hanbok designs and the Hanbok industry. The first recommendation is that continuous design research be done for the development and popularity of the brand image; secondly, collaboration with specialists from other areas of fashion would be beneficial; thirdly, it would be a positive development if Hanbok designers studied Western clothing; and fourthly, Hanbok materials should continue to evolve and be developed.

A Comparative Study on the Formative Pattern of Chogakpo and Tessellation (조각보의 면구성과 테셀레이션 비교 연구)

  • Chogakpos are highly artistic works created by Korean women as a part of the Kyubang culture in the Chosun Dynasty from the late 19th century to the early 20th. Tessellation is a plaid pattern composed of squares that covers a surface or a space with figures completely without any gap or overlap. The present study purposed to make a comparative analysis of the formative pattern of Chogakp and tessellation in order to show the superiority of Korean Kyubang(the women's quarters called Kyubang in the Chosun Dynasty) culture. As for the research method, we analyzed relevant materials to examine the geometric characteristics and formative principles of tessellation. In addition, we analyzed the formative pattern of Chogakpo using Photographs. The scope of this study was limited to 148 old Chogakpos contained in Huh Dong-hwa's 'Yetpojagi'. According to the results of this research, similarities between Chogakpo and tessellation were as follows. First, in a regular polygon, the face was divided into regular triangles, squares and two or more regular polygons. Second, in a polygon, the face was divided into triangles and quadrangles. Third, the symmetry of tessellation was applied to Cintamani pattern Pojagi. Differences between Chogakpo and tessellation were as follows. First, different from Chogakpo, tessellation had various formative patterns utilizing different regular polygons including hexagons. Second, there was no overlapping repetition in tessellation. Third, there was no free pattern in tessellation.

A Study on the formative principles of Freobel′s Gifts (프뢰벨 은물의 시각적 조형원리에 대한 연구)

  • The Gifts that Freobel devised in 1837 were the first instructional media using concrete and systematic toys as materials for early childhood education. The shapes of hexahedrons, cylinders and balls and conception of point, line, plane and six colors shown in the forms of Freobel's Gifts are the basics of formative elements in modem design. However, the Gifts, or educational toys, which were presented to practice Freobel's educational ideas actually in the educational fields were hardly examined or analyzed from the viewpoint of design. In this study, the structural principles, which were applied to the plastic formation of the Gifts under the influence of Freobel's educational philosophy, are examined by analyzing the visual formative characteristics of Freobel's Gifts. Accordingly, through an analysis on the formative principles of the Gifts, it is studied how a system of abstract and philosophical thought was visually applied to forms. This study is a probing research on the formative characteristics presented in the Gifts and is an investigation of formation theory about geomatrice forms. The effects and problems of the formative features of teaching materials for little children are also examined from the viewpoint of design in this study.

Developing Fashion Design Utilizing the Formative Characteristics of Pixelation Image (픽셀화 이미지의 조형 특성을 활용한 패션디자인 개발)

  • This study aims to understand the concept of pixel, the most important factor in constituting a digital image, draw the formative characteristics of pixelation image expressed through non-digital media, and develop fashion design reflecting the characteristics. As a research method, the literature review was conducted in the present study by involving domestic and foreign publications, related academic journals, and theses and dissertations on the pixel and pixelation image based on a qualitative research process. In addition, through an analysis of the cases that borrowed pixelation images in non-digital media like contemporary art and design, etc., an attempt was made to draw the formative characteristics of the pixelation image. Apparently, six fashion design looks are presented in the present study. The formative characteristics of the pixelation image include: first, the repeatability that repeats the minimum unit; second, the incompleteness of the shape appearing through the phenomenon of aliasing due to the characteristics of the pixel; and third, the combination that completes the shape through the combination of individual independent pixels. The results of the expression through reflecting them in fashion design are as follows: first, this study chose one small geometric formative element and presented repeatability by repetitively expressing that element in a textile pattern; second, for incompleteness, this study expressed an incomplete form, handling the edge part of the shape with the method of disentangling the strand; and third, the combination by completing a single look through overlapping of independent textiles and the combination of different independent individuals is expressed.
