The spread of smartphones enabled the two-way communication through the Internet, and character emoticons added fun and comfort to communication among users. To figure out laughter-arousing factors, a survey about emoticon designs of Kakaotalk Itemstore was conducted, targeting university students in their twenties. An interaction of 'user-preferred emoticons' and 'laughter-arousing emoticons' was analyzed. 90% of 'user-preferred emoticons' were 'humorous emoticons', and 84% of respondents answered that there is a relationship between 'user-preferred emoticons' and 'laughter-arousing emoticons'. Consequently, a high interaction between the 'rank of emoticons' and 'laughter-arousing emoticons' was derived. Also, factors of laughter-arousing emoticons were analyzed by studying the ranks of emoticon from 1st to 8th of Kakaotalk Itemstore. Two-divisional figures reminding pure kids, maximization of emotional expression by omission or exaggeration of mouth, and smoothness by concave curves aroused laughter. Intuitively understandable gestures were employed in terms of action. Furthermore, two-divisional figures' acting with comparably small body, hands and foot to their head, and people-mimicking motions of animals with cuteness and familiarity enabled arousal of laughter. In facial expressions, humorous articulation of sad, busy or mad expression enabled positive communion among users.

교육에서 에듀세레는 그 자체가 기본적인 상황에서 보다 좋은 그리고 보다 높은 상황으로 개선을 함의한다. 더 나아가서 에두세레의 성품교육은 독일어 빌둥의 개념으로 인정될 수 있다. 여기서 빌둥이란 전체성의 인격, 사회와 세계관에서의 포괄적인 태도를 의미한다. 네덜란드 교육이 이 부분에서 만들어 내는 새로움은 무엇인가? 사고와 행동에서의 선형 발달에 대한 강조 없이 교육은 역사에서 포괄성에 대한 확신 없이 발생하지 않는다. 네덜란드에서 성인과 아동의 포괄성은 우리의 연구에서 역사적 맥락으로 제시된다. 그 결과는 우리에게 놀라움을 제공한다.

The existing approaches to the body painting have been dominated by the angles focused on the 'performance' and the 'body art'. The performance-focused approach, in which body painting serves simply as a make-up for the performer, one of the elements of performance to help it communicate effectively its meaning and come to perfection, might be in itself lacking in the attention to the placement of the body painting as a new genre of art. This thesis has two aims to explain the concept of Allegory as the contemporary meaning and to examined the formative characteristics and other characteristics of Allegory through theoretical research. For this purpose, this study is based upon allegorical cognition of Walter Benjamin and the allegorical method of Craig Owens. The formative characteristics of allegory are summarized as appropriation, deconstruction and site-specificity as follows. First, the constructed result has contrived characters because its image which derived from body painting based on the past shown image. Second, Allegoric body painting refuses an aesthetically valuable piece which can be interpreted formal completion, it shows intactly deconstruction of its configuration, substance and style. Third, Allegoric body painting has site-specificity facts which can be expressed for diverse meanings. Through these facts, the final goal of this thesis will find specific character for Allegory and apply to body painting.

The purpose of the study was to develop evaluation methods which would measure student achievement and progress without traditional paper-pencil tests such as mid-term and final examinations. More specifically, the main research focus were to establish general directions of student assessment during free semester, to build evaluation models supporting student's participation and learning, and to report and record various student evaluation results. As research results, we found that student evaluation of free semester should be organized to improve a) experience learning activity, self-regulatory and collaboratory study, b) high-order thinking ability and character-building, and c) teacher-student-parent cooperation. Since traditional paper-pencil tests were restricted in free semester, student achievement should be provided by a way of performance descriptions on transcripts rather than quantitative grade points. Student performance descriptions had to show not only subject knowledge but also students efforts, motivation, and participation. These multiple and educationally meaningful information would be collected by teacher-student-parent communication and collaboration.

The purpose of this thesis is to examine how typography, which has become apparent in many areas of modern society, is expressed, portrayed and how its value, function and significance in fashion can be understood. In order to undertake this study, the concept of typography was examined in detail, the verbal and formative function of typography carefully considered, and the different types of typography were analyzed and categorized in to the below areas : - Typography for the increasing of brand logo recognition - Typography as a social slogan - Typography for the increasing of collective belongingness - Typography as an image - Typography as a symbol. As a result, the typography plays an important role of a verbal tool in modern fashion design. Through typography, fashion was able to explain in much detail the overstatement of society criticizing character and functionality of information conveyance. However, the role of typography will continue to change and evolve according to the constant changes of fashion

We discussed the formative nature of a city square reffered to be the frame of creating environment in the this study. We raised a question that the place, the size and the form of a city square are out of harmony with a surrounding environmental condition, and examined the functional effect and the formate value of a sunken square at the same time. We got hold of the special shape and the specific character, the distinctive structure, and the influence of the minute temperature of a cuty aquare, and showed the improved direction how to make them better focusing on the target square of a cosmopolitan city of Seoul. Finally, to correct the above-mentioned problems, we emphasized the our traditional city square which is reffered to have a peculiar property, and proposed that a public institutuion should develope the city square, and should make an effort to reflect the design based on the scientific experiment.

This study aimed to visualize a pig character targeting the golden pig in Geuknakjeon of Bulguksa Temple. As for a pig, it is included in this list of the 12 Chinese zodiac animals and controls Haeshinjang. Today, the characters market is enjoying rapid growth due to diversification of platforms. However, we do not see many characters made out of Korean traditional cultures and customs. This study first looks into significance of pigs that are often observed in Korean traditional culture and then offers possibilities of their being transformed into contemporary characters. In order to achieve the research goals, the study shed new light on the golden pig in Bulguksa Temple. As making contemporary applications to , the study proceeded with work of visualization. As for a face of a character, the study focused on that of the pig but regarding a body, the study applied a man's body. After all, the study came up with this SD character in a second-proportioned figure. This study discuses formative characteristics of existing Buddhist cultural assets and uses the character for improving understanding on Korean traditional culture. In the future, the study will propose ideas on animation contents development targeting infants and children.

디지털 시대를 맞아 21세기의 가장 주목받는 산업인 문화산업 중에서도 대표적인 게임산업은 최근 어느 때보다도 관심도가 높아지고 있다. 이러한 게임산업에 있어 게임 캐릭터의 역할은 시대에 따라 많은 변화를 가져왔고, 현재 게임 캐릭터는 게임 자체의 성공여부에도 많은 영향력을 미치고 있다. 초기의 게임 캐릭터는 단순히 게임만을 위한 캐릭터로, 캐릭터 자체의 의미는 거의 없었지만 게임산업이 점차 변화를 거듭하면서 게임의 내용과 시나리오 이상으로 게임 캐릭터의 중요성이 인식되기 시작되었다. 따라서 게임의 주인공이라 할 수 있는 캐릭터의 "조형성"은 제품 간에 차별 짓는 중요 요소로서, 게임의 작품성과 상품성을 높이는데 필수적인 요인으로 작용한다.

건축물의 파사드는 상업공간인 경우, 매장의 일부이며 가로공간을 구성하고 있는 중요한 요소로서의 역할을 하고 있다. 따라서 그 기능적인 문제와 표현상의 문제를 다루는데 있어서 매장과 가로공간의 양측면을 고려하지 않으면 안된다. 본 연구는 도시의 가로 공간의 구성요소인 파사드와 색채의 상호연관성의 고찰을 통하여 사인물을 비롯한 매장의 디자인 나아가 건축디자인의 색채계획에 있어 형태적 특성에 따른 접근 방법과 방향성을 제시하고자 한다. 이에 개별 건축물의 특성보다는 2차원적인 건축물의 입면이 연속적으로 구성되어 있는 명동을 조사대상지역으로 선정하고 입면 유형에 따른 종횡방향의 연속성과 입면 구성요소의 색채분석을 실시하여 상호 관련성을 규명하였다. 앞으로 도시환경의 색채계획은 결론에서 제시하고 있는 개개의 강조보다는 건축물의 형태적 특성에서 비롯되는 관련성을 고려한 전체 틀 속에서 검토되어야하며, 이는 곧 쾌적한 도시환경을 창조하는 실마리가 될 수 있는 것이다.

Jewelry has recognized as a part of independent formative arts of fashion with the change modern man's cognition for the fashion. It is a great important section to express fashion image. So, many corporations design and develop the jewelry by themselves to maxmize their fashion image. Among the so many kinds of jewelry, especially the necklace is located beneath the face and linked as a part of fashion, so it frequently has showed in Fashion Collection. Like this Fashion and jewelry enact each other and share their esthetic features but, it is insufficient the study of fashion linked with the jewelry. In this study, we defined the words which is using confusedly according to jewelry forms what researched by others. In addition, we tend to study the effect of that the form, hue and character of materials of necklace that is expressed in fashion collection influence fashion image. The method of this study is comprised with precedent studies and analysis of necklace photos in fashion collection. For the analysis of data, we implement content analysis and statistical analysis using SPAW Statistics 18(frequency analysis, percentage, cross-tabulations, $X^2$-test). Because the hue and the form of necklace take a great role to make fashion image with the sense of its eyesight, its effective coordination go up the delicate feelings with the form, hue and quality of the fashion. Especially, the hue is the essential element of formative characteristics to express visual image. The necklace had coordinated more frequently in S/S than F/W, it means that more light and simple fashion let ornamental beauty could express by the necklace. So, it is very effective things that we predict the trend of fashion, then, coordinate with well-matched necklace.
