The meticulous figure painting is one of the wonders of traditional Chinese painting and has blossomed in art history with its unique and interesting style. The period from the Warring States period to the Song and Yuan dynasties was a glorious period in its history, after which it tended to decline due to changes in painting materials and many socio-historical reasons. The extensive cultural exchanges in the world today, the penetration of Western values and the expansion of information technology have brought a huge impact on Chinese meticulous figure painting, which has developed an active way of thinking and expression after absorbing certain elements of Western culture and thought on the basis of inherited tradition. Contemporary Realistic Figure painters continue to explore new developments in meticulous figure painting in the contemporary context, and give contemporary meticulous figure painting a new cultural and ideological connotation, forming a new look that meets the requirements of the times, with richer and more lively content, subject matter and formal language. Traditional meticulous figure painting is characterised by a highly refined use of line and coloring composition. Contemporary meticulous figure painting focuses on the use of purely formal language and the expression of the personality of the creative subject, with a new outlook on the world of painting. In the contemporary multicultural context, new formal language and methods of expression are constantly being explored to create a new look. In the process of development, contemporary meticulous figure painting has merged the best qualities of traditional and contemporary culture, making it an art with a subtle language, rich in meaning and with the charm of the times and oriental characteristics. The author in the form of contemporary fine brushwork figure painting language as the research object, explore new form of fine brushwork figure painting, and in the contemporary society and multicultural context factors. Innovation, enrich and develop new forms of art language of contemporary social form and aesthetic temperament and interest.
Railway interlocking systems which are safety-critical systems are rapidly changed from relay-based systems to computer-based systems which have high flexible. Computer-based interlocking systems (CBI) are consisted of hardware and software in which system safeties arise one of important problems. The interlocking software of the CBI influences directly to the system safeties. "z" notation is one of formal methods have been used for system software specification to secure system safety. In this paper, the specification of interlocking logics for CBI systems is realized using "z" notation and verifies it with Z/EVES.

It is recognized that object-oriented methods and formal methods are two different main streams that will influence on the future direction of software engineering. A merging effort on these two technologies, named "a formal approach on system specifications using object-oriented methods" emerges rapidly and produces remarkable research results LOTOS is well-suited to an object-based approach. However, to provide a full object-oriented approach, we need to model generalization (i.e. inheritance and polymorphism). Most authors who have examined this topic have proposed extensions to LOTOS. As an extension of such an effort, this paper proposes a method that generates LOTOS specification from static structure diagrams in UML.
The education of mathematics is comprised of formal thoughts so students lose interest and they don't have a chance to have a liberal mind. To solve this problem, recently, the flow of mathematic education is changing from formal mathematics to experimental mathematics, which focuses on student's activity and experience. Experimental mathematics can improve student's interest and participation. This study is about teaching methods of trigonometric functions through experimental mathematics measuring height and width of buildings. For measuring height of buildings we use clinometer and for measuring width of buildings we developed a mathematical tool with which we can measure angle for width of buildings. Through this activity, students obtained an interest in mathematics and they gained a positive attitude for the lesson. If we use this experimental mathematics method in high school, it's possible to reduce fears of mathematics and to increase an interest for mathematics.
Objectives : Traditional medicine(TM) of East Asia has been taking its status as part of complementary and alternative medicine(CAM) in the UK. However, the efficacy and safety issues make it hard to be accepted in the healthcare system. The aim of the research is to find out the current status of TM of East Asia in the UK and to discuss some issues around its acceptance as formal healthcare method. Methods : Articles, books and regulations related to the acceptance of TM of East Asia were analysed and the internet websites were visited such as Westlaw UK for legal materials, government websites for formal documents, and some UK-based associations. Keyword searches were followed and the essential parts from the articles and documents were generalised for the analysis and discussion. Results : Issues over TM of East Asia include identity as medicine, efficacy and safety, and the statutory regulation can be a measure for the acceptance. Osteopathy and chiropractic therapies came under statutory regulation among the CAM in the UK. Conclusions : TM of East Asia could be under the statutory regulation in the near future. Efficacy and safety issues are the challenging barrier. However, the approach from the viewpoint of TM of East Asia is necessary for development and good practice. The simplified registration procedure for traditional herbal medicinal product in EU can be the model. Education, evaluation, assessment and managing quality of practice are essential for the standard care and formal regulation.
Mathematical problem solving has become a major concern in school mathematics, and methods to enhance children's mathematical problem solving abilities have been the main topics in many mathematics education researches. In addition to previous researches about problem solving, the development of a mathematical problem solving method that enables children to establish mathematical concepts through problem solving, to discover formalized principles associated with concepts, and to apply them to real world situations needs. For this purpose, I examined the necessity of problem solving education and reviewed mathematical problem solving researches and problem solving models for giving the theoretical backgrounds. This study suggested the problem solving approach based on the intuitive and the formal inquiry which are the basis of mathematical discovery and inquiry process. And it is developed to keep the balance and complement of the conceptual understanding and the procedural understanding respectively. In addition, it consisted of problem posing to apply the mathematical principles in the application stage.

Purpose: This study was done to explore the relationship in hospital nurses' of communication competence, communication types, and organizational commitment and to provide basic data for developing programs to improve internal communication and to promote nurses' commitment to their organizations. Methods: The participants included 316 nurses who worked in two general hospitals. The tools used for this study were the Global Interpersonal Communication Competence Scale (GICC) and Communication Satisfaction Questionnaire by Downs & Hazen (1981), revised by Seo (2002) and Mowday's tool (1979) for organizational commitment. Data were analyzed using SPSS/PC+12.0. Results: The mean score for communication competence was 3.46, and for organizational commitment, 3.19. For communication types, the mean score for formal communication was 3.18 and informal communication, 2.59. Communication competence had a positive relationship with formal communication (r=.32) and with informal communication (r=.16). Organizational commitment had a positive relationship with formal communication (r=.53), communication competence (r=.30), and informal communication (r=.27). Conclusion: The results indicate the necessity of developing programs to promote nurses' communication competence and also developing a system that will enrich active communication. Systematic and continuous training in communication is also highly recommended.
In this study, Rural and urban housewives were compared in terms of their clothing practical use and clothing buying behavior. For the analysis, a nation-wide stratified sampling was made across the rural and urban areas. As a result, 400 subjects of housewives were selected and were asked to answer the questionnaire. Results of the analysis were as follows: 1. Both rural and urban housewives were found to have reliable knowledge about the kinds of clothes they are possessing. However, there were significant differences in the knowledge level of clothing practice methods, in clothing patterns of one′s favor, and in clothing buying behavior by the type of clothing. 2. With regard to the clothing buying behavior by the type of clothing, several differences were found between rural and urban housewives. Purchase motivation for formal wear, was found to be "I don′t have one" in overall, yet having a significant frequency difference between rural and urban housewives. Major evaluation criteria were "color and design" and "fits to me" for formal wear and "comfort and fitness" and "price" for casual wear, also having a significant frequency difference between rural and urban housewives. 3. Rural area housewives bought their formal wear in stores offering "low price or sale" while urban housewives looked at "quality and variety". The major source of information was "display and direct observation" and "previous experience" in both cases. The rural housewives bought clothes when they had any "event" and urban housewives bought them when they had "extra money or sale".

NuDE 2.0 (Nuclear Development Environment 2.0) is a formal-method-based software development, verification and safety analysis environment for safety-critical digital I&Cs implemented with programmable logic controller (PLC) and field-programmable gate array (FPGA). It simultaneously develops PLC/FPGA software implementations from one requirement/design specification and also helps most of the development, verification, and safety analysis to be performed mechanically and in sequence. The NuDE 2.0 now consists of 25 CASE tools and also includes an in-depth solution for indirect commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) software dedication of new FPGA-based digital I&Cs. We expect that the NuDE 2.0 will be widely used as a means of diversifying software design/implementation and model-based software development methodology.
Digital contents services are one of the topics that have been intensively studied in the media industry, where various semantic and ontology techniques are applied. However, query execution for ontology data is still inefficient, lack of sufficient extensible definitions for node relationships, and there is no specific semantic method fit for media data representation. In order to make the machine understand digital contents (DCs) data well, we analyze DCs data, including static data and dynamic data, and use ontology to specify and classify objects and the events of the particular objects. Then the formal representation method is proposed which not only redefines DCs data based on the technology of OWL/RDF, but is also combined with media segmentation methods. At the same time, to speed up the access mechanism of DCs data stored under the persistent database, an ontology-based DCs query solution is proposed, which uses the specified distance vector associated to a surveillance of semantic label (annotation) to detect and track a moving or static object.
