이 시스템은 한국의 언어인 한글을 모르는 외국인뿐만 아니라 국내의 남녀노소 막론하고 불특정 다수를 위한 것이다. 앞서 말한 대상자들이 한글을 조력자 없이 혼자 배우는 것은 사실상 불가능 하다고 할 수 있다. 집안에서 혼자서도 문자를 이해하고 발음을 청취할 수 있는 시스템으로 한글의 자음과 모음이라는 특징을 활용한 AR환경에 입각한 시스템을 보여준다. 나아가 이 시스템을 이용한 단어학습 방법도 제시한다. 또한 현 수준은 데스크톱 기반 시스템이지만 PDA등의 hand-held 기반의 시스템으로의 발전을 기약할 수 있으며 적은 수의 마커를 사용하여 편리함을 도모하면서 인간과 컴퓨터 사이에 쉽게 상호작용하는 시스템을 선보인다.

In this study, we collected the emotion vocabulary novel related to the LED system light emotion and the existing terms through previous research, targeting professionals and KJ method, we selected emotion term of 35 kinds. Targeting this east Foreigner, we compared the emotion evaluation by changing the lighting elements in accordance office, meeting room, lounge, the OA room different behavior patterns. The results, showing the difference between the results of emotion existing research generally derived factors three axes "future, functionality" See, "stability", "activity". As a result of the comparison of the emotion of the East and the West, the Oriental, functional aspects of the LED system light of space office, meeting room, lounge is drawn most, On the other hand, Westerners, come up, stable surface shows the difference in accidentally. Based on these results, the future, and tries to utilized to evaluate the emotion reaction of the illumination elements each Test-Bed actual.

모바일 환경에서의 교육용 콘텐츠는 그 형태와 종류가 다양하며 최근에 여러 종류의 모바일 단말기들이 대중화 되면서 더욱 새롭고 다양한 형태의 콘텐츠가 개발되고 있다. 또한, 스마트폰에 대한 소비자들의 관심이 높아지면서 국외 및 국내 통신사들도 다양한 종류의 스마트폰을 선보이고 있는 추세이다. 현재 모바일 환경에서의 어학 관련 교육용 콘텐츠들은 대부분 영어, 일어, 중국어 등 외국어에 대한 교육용 콘텐츠들이 대부분이며, 이에 비해 한글교육용 콘텐츠 개발은 미비한 실정이다. 이에 따라, 본 논문에서는 스마트폰을 이용하여 모바일 환경에서 활용할 수 있도록 외국인을 위한 초급 한글 교육용 어학 콘텐츠를 설계한다.

The purposes of this study were to (1) identify foreigners’ evaluation of service performance, (2) define foreigners’ needs for each segment of Korean traditional restaurants, and (3) plan the adaptation strategies for Korean traditional restaurants on foreign countries. From April to July, 2005, 542 foreigners responded to an individual survey. Statistical analyses on SPSS 12.0 for Windows were performed on the survey data using descriptive statistics, factor analysis, reliability analysis, independent-samples t-test and ANOVA. The major findings from the study are as follows. First, among all the attributes, ‘Offer free additional side dishes’ scored the highest, followed by ‘taste of food is good’ and ‘temperature of food is proper’. Second, factor analysis classified the service attributes into four factors in the following order of importance: menu, sanitation, service, and facility and atmosphere. Finally, foreigner groups categorized by their general characteristics, including demographics, showed statistically differences in their evaluation. In consequence, the research findings suggest that operators of Korean traditional restaurants should understand different customers’ needs within and between customer segments.

Purpose: With low birth rates and aging population problems in Korea, the number of foreign workers grows rapidly. The purpose of this study was to identify factors influencing physical activity of foreign workers based on a Health Promotion Model by examining relationships between acculturation, perceived benefits, perceived barriers, exercise self-efficacy, activity-related affect, social support, and physical activity. Methods: The participants were foreign workers aged 18 to 60 who were employed at eight shipyards. A questionnaire was distributed to 216 participants. Results: As a result of the multivariate ordinal logistic regression analysis, factors affecting physical activity of foreign workers were perceived benefits (B=.65, 95% CI=0.08~1.22), exercise self-efficacy (B=.16, 95% CI=0.05~0.26), integration (B=.41 95% CI=0.14~0.69), and social support for physical activity (B=.48, 95% CI=0.12~0.83). The total explanatory power was 17.7% (x²=41.95, p<.001). Conclusion: Based on these results, there is a need to develop a customized program to increase physical activities of foreign workers by enhancing integration, perceived benefits, exercise self-efficacy and social support.

The purpose of this study is to compare the difference in the interactions between beginning language learners and heritage learners on their forms based on the interaction hypothesis. In this study, three types of information gap activities were used to analyze Language Related Episodes (LREs) while investigating the interaction patterns in language use between four pairs (eight learners) of foreign learners and four pairs (eight learners) of English-speaking heritage learners. The result indicated that foreign learners had a high focus on form during interaction. In particular, they had a tendency to focus on vocabulary rather than grammar, and they conducted self-repair by examining and mostly adjusting their speech to postposition and tense. However, in the problem-solving process, they showed a limited ability in interaction, and thus directly asked others to settle the problem or resorted to using English due to their lack of ability to employ various communication strategies. However, heritage learners had a relatively low focus on form compared to foreign learners. Yet, they also focused more on vocabulary rather than grammar and conducted self-repair in interaction, especially for vocabulary. In addition, they were skillful at using various communication strategies such as indirect expressions, use of alternative words, evasion, and delaying, to expand speech and prevent communication breakdown. They focused less on grammar and mostly did not provide negative feedback in interaction.

미국인 퍼시발 로웰은 최초로 사진기를 가지고 1883년에 조선에 정식으로 입국한 외국인으로서 고종의 사진을 비롯한 80여장의 사진자료를 남겼다. 이 사진자료들은 모두가 한국의 사진 역사상 최초이자 유일한 가치를 지니고 있으며 귀중한 역사적 정보를 가지고 있음에도 불구하고 적절한 연구가 수행된 적이 없다. 이 사진에 관련된 자료들은 대부분 미국에 소장되어 있는데, 사진과 관련된 정보는 많은 오류와 함께 웹사이트에 게시되고 있기 때문에 일부 책자와 연구자들에 의해서 오 인용되고 있다. 이에 필자는 로웰이 조선에서 촬영한 사진을 분석하여 그 내용을 파악하고, 사진자료의 대부분을 소장하고 있는 미국의 퍼트남자료관의 로웰의 조선관련 사진 아카이브의 문제점을 분석하고 오류에 대한 수정안을 제시했다.

Currently, the Korean wave is not limited to popular culture, but has a significant impact not only on Korea's national image but also on the improvement of Korean companies' products and image of Korea. In this study, using Textom to confirm the change in foreign tourists' image of Korea, the data collection period was 1 year of 2020, when COVID 19 occurred, as a collection period for "Korea and foreigner" and related key words, each Hallyu content, and ranked in the top 80 keywords were derived. Centrality analysis for semantic network visualization was performed using UCINET6, and through CONCOR analysis, 7 groups 'K-Quarantine ', 'K-Drama', 'K-Movie', 'K-Beauty', 'K-Shopping', It was clustered into 'K-Tech' and 'K-Pop'. As a result of the analysis, the image of Korea abroad generally recognized the Korean Wave as cultural content, but after the outbreak of COVID 19, it is judged that it has been recognized as a country with a successful case of K-Quarantine.

Purpose: The study aimed to analyze the occurrence and transfer status of emergency patients at Incheon International Airport in Korea. Methods: This study design included 810 patients for eight years, from July 1, 2014 to June 31, 2022. The collected data were analyzed with SPSS statistics version 25.0. Results: For the demographics, 531 (65.6%) were males, 151 (19.5%) were in the highest age group (in their 50s), and 289 (35.9%) were foreigners. The most common place of occurrence was in protected areas in the passenger terminal, with 341 (42.1%) of cases occurring here. The time of arrival at the site (z=-3.444, p=.001), stay duration at the site (z=-8.145, p=. 001), and transfer time (z=-3.623, p=.000) were all significantly longer. Conclusion: It is necessary to consider a rapid emergency transportation plan, such as developing a system that simplifies immigration procedures when emergency patients move from protected areas to general areas. Moreover, in order to quickly respond to foreign emergency patients, detailed characteristics will need to be identified. Lastly, considering the long transfer time, an instructing doctor should accompany an ambulance and actively perform advanced resuscitation.

본 연구는 코로나-19 이후로 증가할 것으로 보이는 방한 외국인 관광객의 지역별 소비 경향을 카드 소비 데이터를 데이터베이스화하여 다각적인 방면에서 분석하고 정보를 만들었다. 코로나 이전 'K-pop'과 'K-drama'의 영향으로 계속해서 증가하던 방한 외국인의 수는 코로나의 영향으로 50%가량 감소했다. 하지만 '위드 코로나'로 접어든 지금, 다시금 외국인 관광객을 유치하기 위해선 각 관광객의 니즈에 맞는 서비스를 제공해야 한다. 또한, 각 지자체에서는 외국인 관광객이 선호하는 서비스를 파악하고 각 국적별 관광객에게 맞는 서비스를 제공하는 노력을 통해 지역경제를 활성화시킬 수 있을 것이다. 현재 많은 기업에서 지역별, 업종별로 맞춤 서비스를 제공하는 것처럼, 지자체가 구체적인 데이터를 사용하여 맞춤 서비스를 제공한다면 코로나로 어려운 시기를 슬기롭게 극복할 수 있다고 생각한다.
