  • Cleidocranial dysplasia is a well-documented rare autosomal dominant skeletal dysplasia characterized by hypoplastic/aplastic clavicles, brachycephalic skull, patent sutures and fontanelles, midface hypoplasia, and abnormalities of dentition. Patients with cleidocranial dysplasia often complain about undesirable esthetic appearance of their forehead and skull. Notwithstanding many studies of molecular, genetics and skeletal abnormalities of this congenial disorder, there have been very few written reports of cranioplasty involving cleidocranial dysplasia. Thus, we report a rare case of successful cranioplasty using a modified split calvarial graft technique in patient with cleidocranial dysplasia.

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the performance and properties of sports wear that have the excellent wearing sensation and are in harmony with the functions of human bodies. With four kind(sample A, B, C, D) of materials which have different water vapor transmission, the physiological responses of human bodies and the changes of subjective sensations were studied through the actual aerobic sports program at $20^{\circ}C$, 60%R.H. The forehead temperature had the minimal variation among the local skin temperatures. The fabrics of low water vapor transmission demonstrated high breast temperature. There are significant differences among materials depending on the humidity in clothes(especially back and breast), which was about 6 % for breast and about 14 % for back. The order of loss in body weight was in the opposite direction to that of water vapor transmission for each material.

  • Four specimens of Cynoglossus larvae (3.2-7.3 mm in notochord length, NL) collected from the middle Yellow Sea in August, 2008 were identified as Cynoglossus joyneri larvae based on morphological characteristics; (1) the two elongated dorsal fin rays on the parietal region, (2) protruded abdomen, (3) no melanophores on the mediolateral trunk and tail. Larva of 3.2 mm NL is compressed with a little big head and tapering, long tail. Larva of 7.0 mm NL has 115 dorsal fin and 85 anal fin rays, which are the same to those of adult. Larva of 7.3 mm NL tended to have concave part in the fringe of forehead, in which left-side eye may move to the other side.

  • Osteomas are benign osteogenic neoplasms that usually occur as solitary craniofacial lesions. Multiple osteomas are rare, particularly those that do not occur as part of an associated syndrome. We report a case of a 72-year-old woman who presented with multiple bony protrusions over the forehead and scalp. She denied any diagnosis of syndromes that are known to be associated with osteomas. Surgical excision was performed by endoscopically resecting more than 30 osteomas of the frontal and bilateral parietal bones. Compared with conventional surgical excision through a direct incision, endoscopic-assisted surgery is a simple and effective method for the treatment of multiple craniofacial osteomas and is associated with excellent cosmetic outcomes and no neurovascular complications.

  • Russell-Silver syndrome (RSS) is a congenital disease characterized by short stature due to growth hormone deficiency, physical asymmetry, inverted triangular face, micrognathia, prominent forehead, and hypodontia. This case report presents a prosthetic management of a 6-year-old patient with Russell-Silver syndrome treated with overdentures on the maxilla and the mandible using the remaining primary teeth. Subsequent and comprehensive dental management considering the growth and development of a young patient will be necessary.

  • Based on the design requirements(size, strength, structure, weight, and etc.) for the rubber-tired AGT vehicle, carbody made of aluminum alloy is designed. The analysis of strength and stiffness is performed in the designed carbody, which results in the modification for optimal shapes and structures. It consists of a under frame, side frame, roof frame, end frame and forehead frame. After the carbody manufactured, tests are performed, which are vertical load test, longitudinal compressive load test, twisting load test, twisting natural frequency measurement, bending natural frequency measurement and 3 points supporting test. Results of them can guarantee a structural safety.

  • Liposuction is a useful method for debulking free flap. Recently, ultrasound assisted liposuction(UAL) has been reported to have many advantages over conventional suction-assisted lipectomy. We applied the UAL to debulk free fasciocutaneous flap of the forehead and lower extremities. The result was satisfactory and there was no significant complications worth noting. Although the cost can be expensive, it has many advantages such as less blood loss, larger amount of fat aspirate and better skin contraction. We can conclude that UAL can be a useful alternative method to debulk free fasciocutaneous flap.

  • This study was performed to define the effects of Far Infrared Ray Radiation Fabrics as summer garments during outdoor work by human trial. One healthy male subject was volunteered for this study. Experimental garments consisted of three kinds of trousers (Cotton, Cotton/linen blended, Far Infrared Ray Radiation Fabric/wool blended) and basic garments (panty, socks, shirts, and dress shirts). The measurements were rectal temp., skin temp., microclimate inside clothing, heart rate, subjective sensation etc. The results were as follows : 1. Rectal temperature showed the lowest in Far Infrared Ray Radiation Fabrics among 3 garments. 2. Skin temperature (forehead, chest abdomen temp.) and mean skin temperature were lower in Far Infrared Ray Radiation Fabrics than in others, especially during early stage of work. 3. Heart rate showed lower value in Far Infrared Ray Radiation Fabrics than in others but there was no significance among the garments. 4. Humidity inside clothing and total weight loss showed the highest value in Far Infrared Ray Radiation Fabrics.

JDS mined with cold water was used on outbreaks of acne, 15 minutes. 1 time per night, 6 times per week. Results & Conclusions : 3 males and 8 females were treated ever three weeks, The average age was 21.73 years old. Before treatment, ache patients had sparse papules on the forehead. both cheeks, and chin, After treatment over three weeks, nine acne patients changed for ihe better at a rate of $81.8\%$ (mild improved $54.6\%$, improved $18.2\%$, much improved $9\%$)
