In this paper, the effect of Lorentz force on the stability of attitude orientation of a charged spacecraft moving in an elliptic orbit in the geomagnetic field is considered. Euler equations are used to derive the equations of attitude motion of a charged spacecraft. The equilibrium positions and its stability are investigated separately in the pitch, roll and yaw directions. In each direction, we use the Lorentz force to identify an attitude stabilization parameter. The analytical methods confirm that we can use the Lorentz force as a stabilization method. The charge-to-mass ratio is the main key of control, in addition to the components of the radius vector of the charged center of the spacecraft, relative to the center of mass of the spacecraft. The numerical results determine stable and unstable equilibrium positions. Therefore, in order to generate optimum charge, which may stabilize the attitude motion of a spacecraft, the amount of charge on the surface of spacecraft will need to be monitored for passive control.

The dampness by treating the surface with polyethylene terephthalate (PET) film was measured to grasp the plasma parameters and was observed the surface condition with an atomic force microscope (AFM) to find the causes of the dampness. Also, the vibrational and rotational temperatures in the plasma were calculated after identifying the radicals within the plasma by analyzing the emission spectral with an emission spectrum. The hydrophilic properties were enhanced, by treating the surface of the PET film with non-equilibrium atmospheric discharge plasma. When the rotational temperature was 0.22 to 0.31 eV within the plasma, surface modification control could be easily carried out to surface treatment of PET film on non-equilibrium atmospheric pressure plasma.
This paper presents an algorithm which seeks steady-state equilibrium positions of constrained multibody systems driven by constant generalized speeds. Since the relative coordinates are employed, the constraint equations at cut joints are incorporated into the formulation. The proposed algorithm leads to nonlinear equations that need to be solved iteratively. This algorithm should satisfy both types of conditions: the force equilibrium equations and the kinematic constraint equations. To verify the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm, two numerical examples are solved and the results are compared with those of a commercial program. This method, compared to the conventional method of using dynamic analysis, has the advantage of computational efficiency and stability.

The research presents an analytical theory to calculate the characteristics of the bal bearing with waviness in its rolling elements considering the centrifugal force and gyroscopic moment of bal. The effects of centrifugal force and gyroscopic moment are introduced to the kinematic constraints and force equilibrium equations. and the waviness of rolling elements is modeled by sinusoidal function to calculate the contact force at each ball. The numerical solutions of governing equation of berating due to waviness are calculated by using the Newton-Raphson method. The accuracy of the research is validated by comparing the contact force. contact angle in case of considering the centrifugal force and gyroscopic moment of bal and the contact force and vibration frequencies in cases of considering waviness with the prior researches respectively. It investigates the stiffness, contact force. displacement and vibration frequencies of the ball bearing considering not only the centrifugal force and gyroscopic moment of ball but also the waviness of the rolling elements.
Corrosion of reinforcing bars in reinforced concrete structures due to chloride attack in environments containing chloride ions is one of the most important factors in the destruction of concrete structures. According to the abundant reports that the corrosion rate around the repair area has increased due to the macro-cell current known as the incipient anode, it is necessary to understand the effective parameters. The main objective of this paper is to investigate the effect of the kinetic parameters of corrosion including the cathodic Tafel slope, exchange current density, and equilibrium potential in repair materials on the total corrosion rate and maximum corrosion rate in the patch repair system. With the numerical simulation of the patch repair system and concerning the effect of parameters such as electromotive force (substrate concrete activity level), length of repair area, and resistivity of substrate and repair concrete, and with constant other parameters, the sensitivity of the macro-cell current caused by changes in the kinetic parameters of corrosion of the repairing materials has been investigated. The results show that the maximum effect on the macro-cell current values occurred with the change of cathodic Tafel slope, and the effect change of exchange current density and the equilibrium potential is almost the same. In the low repair extant and low resistivity of the repairing materials, with the increase in the electromotive force (degree of substrate concrete activity) of the patch repair system, the sensitivity of the total corrosion current reduces with the reduction in the cathode Tafel slope. The overall corrosion current will be very sensitive to changes in the kinetic parameters of corrosion. The change in the cathodic Tafel slope from 0.16 to 0.12 V/dec and in 300 mV the electromotive force will translate into an increase of 200% of the total corrosion current. While the percentage of this change in currency density and equilibrium potential is 53 and 43 percent, respectively. Moreover, by increasing the electro-motive force, the sensitivity of the total corrosion current decreases or becomes constant. The maximum corrosion does not change significantly based on the modification of the corrosion kinetic parameters and the modification will not affect the maximum corrosion in the repair system. Given that the macro-cell current in addition to the repair geometry is influenced by the sections of reactions of cathodic, anodic, and ohmic drop in repair and base concrete materials, in different parameters depending on the dominance of each section, the sensitivity of the total current and maximum corrosion in each scenario will be different.

A cycloidal speed reducer is a type of the speed reducers of machinery. The cycloidal speed reducer consists of two cycloidal plate gears, housing roller gear, input shaft, output pin and shaft, and eccentric bearings. Especially the cycloidal plate gear has the peculiar parts of the teeth, because of gearing with the housing roller gear that has the several rollers on the circular line. And then all teeth on the cycloidal plate gear can be designed to contact with the rollers on the housing roller gear at the same time. Therefore the cycloidal plate gear has always contact motion with rollers and the force is interacted between roller gear with cycloidal plate gear. Because the contact force and friction force must be required to improve the accuracy in design procedures of cycloidal speed reducers, this paper presents a force analysis considered friction effect approach derived by static force equilibrium condition, geometrical adaptation, instant velocity center method and relative velocity method.

A 2-dimensional FEM/GEM program was developed for analyzing forming processes of an arbitrarily shaped draw-die, in which plane strain condition is assumed and linear line elements are employed. FEM formulation adopted a new algorithm for solving force equilibrium as well as non-penetration condition simultaneously. For the case of numerical divergence at nearly final forming stages and the initial guess in Newton-Raphson iterations, geometric force equilibrium method(GEM) is also introduced. The developed program was tested with the simulation of stamping processes of automotive bonnet inner pannel in order to verify the usefulness and validity of FEM/GEM formulation.
The uniform metal droplet generation using Nd-YAG laser was studied and experiment was carried out. The shape and volume of developed droplet was measured and the Young-Laplace equation and equilibrium condition of force were applied this model. The differential equation predicting shape of droplet using equilibrium condition of force instead of Navier-stokes equation was induced and numerical solution of differential equation compared with experimentation data. The differential equation was solved by Runge-Kutta method. Surface tension coefficient of droplet was determined with numerical solution relate to experimental result under the statical condition. In case of dynamic vibration, metal droplet shape and detaching critical volume are predicted by recalculating proposed model. The result revealed that this model could reasonably describe the behavior of molten metal droplet on vibration.
In this paper, fluttering behavior of mechanical bileaflet heart valve prosthesis was analyzed taking into consideration of the impact between valve plate and stopper Vibration system of the valve was modeled as a rotating system, and equations are induced by moment equilibrium equations. Lift force, drag force, gravity and buoyancy were considered as external forces acting on the valve plate/ The 4th order Runge-Kutta method was used to solve the equations. Valve plate does not come to the static equilibrium position at a stretch, but come to that position after under damping vibration. Damping ratio increases as the cardiac optput increases, and the mean damping ratio is in the range of 0.16~40.25. Fluttering frequency does not have any specific value, but varies as a function of time. It is in the range of 10~40Hz. Valve opening appears to be affected by the orientation of the of the valve relative to gravitational forces.

In this paper are presented kinematic and dynamic modeling and path-tracking of four-wheeled mobile robots with 2 d.o.f haying the limited drive-torques. Controllability of wheeled-mobile robots is revealed by the kinematic model. Instantaneously coincident coordinate system, force/torque propagation and Newton's equilibrium law are used to drive the dynamic model. When drive-torques generated by inverse dynamics exceed the limitation, we make wheeled-mobile robots follow the reference path by modifying the planned reference trajectory with time-scaling. The controller is introduced to compensate for error owing to modeling uncertainty and measurement noise. And simulation results prove that method proposed by this paper is efficient.
