  • Generally, the Doubly Salient Machine such as Switched Reluctance Motor doesn't have Permanent Magnet, it sometimes adopts permanent magnet or DC filed winding for high efficiency or adjustable speed control. In this paper, adjustable speed range is compared for Doubly Salient Permanent Magnet Machine (DSPM), Brushless Doubly Fed Doubly Salient Machine (BDFDS) and Hybrid Excited Doubly Salient Machine (HEDS). Especially, air-gap flux density to the DC field current is shown and the operating speed as the field-weakening is estimated.

  • A braking algorithm for a PM synchronous motor is presented. The resistance of the stator windings operates as a braking resistors and dissipates the regenerated power from the rotor without any braking components including the electronic power components and control circuits. The proposed braking algorithm maximizes the power dissipation in the stator windings and also generates the maximum braking torque under the limit conditions of DC link capacitor voltage and inverter currents so that it can minimize the braking time.

  • 농형 유도전동기의 센서리스 벡터제어시 기존의 약계자 알고리즘은 오토튜닝 오차에 의해 자속기준값이 크게 계산되어질 때 역기전력과, 전압제한값에 의해 최대전류를 출력할 수 없다. 본 논문에서는 약계자 영역에서 토크분 전류제어 오차를 이용하여 자속 기준값을 보상함으로써 전류부족에 의한 속도강하를 방지하는 알고리즘을 소개하였고, 시뮬레이션을 통해 그 타당성을 검증하였다.

  • 이중 인버터를 이용한 개방 권선 전동기 구동 시스템에서 한 인버터의 DC 링크만 전원에 연결하고 추가된 인버터의 DC 링크는 전원에 연결하지 않는 경우, 전원이 연결되지 않은 인버터의 전압은 승압이 가능하게 된다. 때문에 일반적인 단일 인버터를 이용하여 전동기를 구동하는 경우보다 높은 전압을 전동기에 인가할 수 있게 되고, 따라서 약자속 영역에서 전동기가 더 많은 토크와 파워를 출력할 수 있다는 장점을 가진다. 하지만 본 논문에서 사용하는 이중 인버터의 경우 유효전력과 무효전력을 분리하여 제어하여야 하기 때문에 기존과는 다른 약자속 방법을 필요로 하게 된다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 표면 부착형 영구자석 전동기의 이중 인버터 구동 시스템에서 유효전력 분 전압의 크기를 최대화하는 약자속 제어방법을 제안하고 모의실험을 통해 그 효용성을 검증하였다.

  • Interior permanent magnet synchronous motors can be applied to applications requiring wide-speed operation. The current control scheme of an interior permanent magnet synchronous (IPM) motor via feedback linearizing technique is proposed. As the available voltage controlling the armature current is small in transient operations and/or flux-weakening region, the current control performance can be deteriorated. The high performance overmodulation strategy is also proposed to improve the current responses. The control performances are confirmed by simulations.

  • This paper forcuses on methods of achieving a direct vector control of induction motors for an electric vehicle based on a closed-loop flux observer. Also over-modulation topology and maximum torque per ampere over the entire field weakening region have been implemented. The proposed scheme is verified through the simulation and the experiment using the chassis dynampmeter and road load driving test for the induction motor controller and the electric vehicle system.

  • 본 논문에서는 매입형 영구자석 동기전동기로 Belt-Type ISG(Integrated Starter Generator)를 설계하였다. 전동기는 저속영역에서 동손이 크고, 고속 영역에서는 철손의 비중이 크게 나타난다. ISG의 경우 전동기로 동작하는 저속영역은 동작시간이 짧기에 효율이 크게 중요하지 않지만 발전기동작은 고속영역에서 장기간 이루어지기에 이 구간에서 효율을 높이는 것이 중요하다. 특히 분포권에서는 전체 손실성분 중에서 회전자의 영구자석 기본파와 고조파 기자력에 의해 발생하는 치에서의 철손이 가장 큰 비중을 차지한다. 본 논문에서는 분포권에서의 철손에 대해서 분석하고 주된 손실의 원인인 치에서의 철손을 저감하는 설계를 수행하여 효율을 향상시켰다.

  • In this paper, it employs IPMSM sensorless methods about current model and Extend-EMF methods. By using a MATLAB/Simulink program, it presents sensorless method in relation No high frequency voltage and replaces current based sensorless method. This IPMSM motor is drived by MTPA and Flux weakening controls for adjusting a actual motor application. In order to improving stability of IPMSM sensorless control, method about Sensorless estimation change is suggested by this paper.

  • The super-speed tube train was introduced to increase the speed of ground transportation. It levitates magnetically and runs in a partial vacuum tube, which significantly reduces air resistance. However, strong magnetic force sufficient to propel the massive train can affect the infrastructure. The induced eddy current produces joule heat, and raises the inside temperature of the girder, which might lead to electrochemical corrosion on the girder, thereby weakening its durability. In this paper, the authors analyzed the magnetic flux and induced eddy current in the reinforced concrete girder by using three-dimensional FEM, particularly by varying the number of reinforcing steels of the upper flange of the girder to the condition of almost the same flexural strength and reinforcing steel amount.

Sensorless Control for a PM Synchronous Motor in a Single Piston Rotary Compressor

  • A sensorless control for an IPM (Interior Permanent Magnet) synchronous motor in a single piston rotary compressor is presented in this study. The rotor position is estimated from the d-axis and q-axis current errors between the real system and a motor model of the position estimator. The torque pulsation of the single piston rotary compressor is compensated to reduce speed ripples, as well as, mechanical noise and vibration. The proposed sensorless drive enables the compressor to operate at a lower speed which increases energy savings and reduces mechanical noise. It also gives high speed operations by a flux weakening control for rapid air-cooling and heating of the heat pump air-conditioners.
