수도(水稻)에 대(對)한 불화수소(弗化水素)가스 피해경감(被害輕減)에 관(關)한 연구(硏究) II. 소석회(消石灰), 규회석(珪灰石)의 적정시용량(適正施用量) (Studies on the Reduction of Hydrogen Fluoride Damage to Rice Plant II. Optimum Application of Lime and Wollastonite)

  • 농작물(農作物)에 대(對)한 불화수소(弗化水素)가스의 피해(被害)를 경감(輕減)시키기 위(爲)하여 피해경감제(被害輕減劑)로서 소석회(消石灰) 규회석(硅灰石)을 토양(土壤)에 증시(增施)하여 수도(水稻)를 재배(裁培)하고 $0.05g/m^3$$0.10g/m^3$의 불화수소(弗化水素)가스를 1시간(時間)씩 접촉(接觸)한후(后) 수량감소정도(收量減少程度), 피해엽율(被害葉率), 식물체중(植物體中)의 불소함량(弗素含量) 및 규산함량(珪酸含量)을 조사(調査)한 결과(結果)는 다음과 같다. 1. 소석회(消石灰) 및 규회석시용량(硅灰石施用量)에 따른 불화수소(弗化水素)가스에 의(依)한 피해경감효과(被害輕減效果)는 석회(石灰) 중화량(中和量)+150kg/10a이 가장 좋았고, 규회석(硅灰石)은 150kg/10a 시용(施用)이 가장 효과(效果)가 좋았다. 2. 식물체중(植物體中) 불소함량(弗素含量)과 피해엽율(被害葉率)이 증가(增加)함에 따라 피해(被害)가 증가(增加)되었다. 3. 가스접촉(接觸) 식물체중(植物體中) 불소함량(弗素含量)이 많았던 구(區)에서 수확기(收穫期) 식물체중(植物體中) 규산함량(珪酸含量)이 많았다. 4. 시용량(施用量) 증가(增加)에 따라서 토양중(土壤中) 가용성(可溶性) 규산함량(珪酸含量)이 增加하였고 식물체중(植物體中) 규산함량(珪酸含量)도 증가(增加)하는 경향(傾向)이었다.

불소적용시 법랑질과 상아질에서 불화칼슘형성의 차이에 관한 실험적 연구 (DIFFERENCE OF CALCIUM FLUORIDE FORMATION BETWEEN THE ENAMEL AND DENTIN AFTER FLUORIDE APPLICATION IN VITRO)

  • The purpose of this study was to compare the amount of calcium fluoride deposited on the enamel and dentin surface and to obtain information on the morphological change and crystallographic details of mineral deposition after 12,000ppm APF application in vitro. The bovine enamel and dentin blocks were randomly assigned to eight groups according to artificial caries lesion formation and difference of fluoride application time. The fluoride concentration and morphological characteristics on the treated enamel and dentin surface were investigated by using fluoride quantitative analysis and SEM. The powdered enamel and dentin of the intact bovine incisors were prepared for the X-ray diffraction analysis. The following results were obtained. 1. The amounts of KOH-soluble fluoride on the carious enamel and dentin surface after 24h APF application were higher than after only 5min APF application(p<0.05), but in the case of the sound enamel and dentin surface were similar after 5min and 24h application (P>0.05). The fluoride content was highly increased in the carious dentin as compared with sound dentin after APF application(P<0.05). 2. The carious enamel surface after APF application, the demineralized enamel surface were recovered a more dense enamel surface and precipitation of crystal was observed a distintive surface layer of spherical globules of about 1 m diameter. In the case of the fluorided carious dentin surface, precipitation of calcium fluoride-like material was deposited both inside the dentinal tubules as well as in the intertubular regions. 3. The crystallographic structure of powdered enamel and dentin after 24h APF application had large crystallities of apatite and CaF2 diffraction peaks in the enamel as compared with dentin. The diffraction data collected from the 27.50-29.50(2) angular range of the powdered enamel, the (105) apatite, (225) apatite and (111) CaF2 peaks of the enamel crystallities were detected after 24h APF application.

불소를 함유한 pH가 낮은 액상차의 치아 부식 위험도 평가 (Dental erosive effects of fluoride-containing tea beverages with low pH)

  • Objective: This study aimed to investigate the effects of fluoride-containing acidic tea beverages on bovine teeth surfaces. Methods: The pH values and fluoride concentrations of 11 kinds of mineral water and 23 kinds of tea were measured. The fluoride-containing Seopyenje black tea beverages with pH 3.48 were chosen for the experimental group. Distilled water that did not contain fluoride and had the same pH value as that of the Seopyenje black teas served as the positive control. The Jeju Samdasoo mineral waters with neural pH (pH 7.52) and no fluoride were chosen as the negative control. Bovine teeth in each group were submerged for 10 minutes. Thereafter, surface microhardness of each bovine teeth was measured and the results were analyzed. Results: The pH value range was 6.94-8.09 ($mean=7.37{\pm}0.08$) for the 11 kinds of mineral water and 3.48-6.74 ($5.62{\pm}0.05$) for the 23 tea beverages. Titratable acidity of the Seopyenje black tea beverages was higher than that of the distilled water mixed with citric acid, and the pH was 5.5 and 7.0, respectively. The fluoride content of the 11 kinds of mineral water was 0-1.09 ppm ($mean=0.44{\pm}0.02ppm$) that of the 23 tea beverages was and 0-0.74 ppm ($0.64{\pm}0.06ppm$). In terms of enamel microhardness reduction of the bovine teeth, the tea beverages had the largest effects. There was no significant difference in microhardness reduction between the tea beverages and distilled water mixed with citric acid (P>0.05). Conversely, a significant difference was found between the kinds of mineral water and tea beverages, and also between mineral water and distilled water mixed with citric acid (P<0.05). Conclusions: Acidic tea beverages appeared to erode the surfaces of bovine teeth. The amount of fluoride in the tea beverages was not enough to inhibit erosion. Therefore, frequent intakes of acidic tea beverage are likely to increase erosion on the surfaces of bovine teeth, by affecting the enamel microhardness of teeth.

흐름주입분석법에 의한 주방용기로부터 용출된 알루미늄의 정량 (Determination of Aluminum Leached from Cooking Utensils by using Flow Injection Analysis)

  • Optimal analytical conditions have been established for mixing and reaction coil length, concentrations of ECR, CTAB, and acetate, reaction temperature and pH in the determination of aluminum by using flow injection analysis(FIA). Detection limit and repeatability for this system were $3{\mu}g/L$ and better than 1% of relative standard deviation, respectively. The interference from iron(III) was suppressed up to 6mg/L of iron(III) by $0.1{\mu}M$ ascorbic acid, and the interference from fluoride could be tolerated in absorption of Al/ECR/CTAB derivative by 10mM boric acid at pH 3.5 adjusted with nitric acid. This FIA system was applied to the determination of aluminum leached from cooking utensils by distilled and tap water containing fluoride ranged from 0.5 to 2mg/L by measurement of absorbance for Al/ECR/CTAB at 585nm. The leached aluminum content was increased with increasing concentration of fluoride. The aluminum contents leached from aluminum utensils by tap water were about 9 fold higher than those leached by distilled water, whereas aluminum contents leached by distilled water containing fluoride were about 2 fold higher compared to those leached by distilled water. That represented that other dissolved substances as well as fluoride in tap water contributed to liberation of aluminum from aluminum utensils. A comparison between FIA data and ICP-AES data by correlation and paired t test showed that the FIA system could be accepted as a good alternative method for the determination of aluminum in tap water.

중·소하천에서 부착미생물군집의 성장에 따른 불소 제거 효과 평가 (Evaluation of Fluoride Removal Effect with Growth of Attached Microbial Community in Middle and Small Stream)

  • 본 연구는 경기도 중소하천에서 하상의 부착미생물군집의 시간에 따른 생장 변화와 부착미생물군집의 성장에 따른 불소의 제거 효율을 파악하기 위해 수행하였다. 방류수가 유입되는 지점인 P1과 그 곳에서 약 2 km 유하한 하류 지점인 P2에서 12주 동안의 현장 모니터링을 실시하고, 조사 지점의 수질과 부착미생물군집의 생체량 분석을 진행하였다. 부착미생물군집의 성장량은 7차 조사 시점까지 증가하다 이후 탈리현상이 발생하는 것으로 관찰되었으며, 부착미생물군집의 성장에 영향을 미치는 요인으로는 유량, 유속, 영양물질(질소, 인) 등으로 조사되었다. 한편, 부착미생물군집 체내의 불소 함유량 또한 7차 조사 시기까지 증가하다 8차 시점부터 감소하는 경향을 보였다. 이는 부착미생물군집의 탈리현상에 의해 불소의 함유량 또한 감소하였음을 사사한다. 이를 통해 하천 관리의 방안으로서 부착미생물군집의 활용법에 대한 평가 및 관리에 기여할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다. 부착미생물군집을 활용한 기법의 적용 시에는 부착미생물군집의 성장에 영향을 미칠 수 있는 요인에 대한 기초 조사 및 탈리 시점에 따른 부착판 교체 방안 등이 포함되어야할 것으로 사료된다.

New Separators Based on Non-Polyolefin Polymers for Secondary Lithium Batteries

  • New porous separators based on non-polyolefin materials including the blend of poly (vinyl chloride) (PVC)/poly (vinylidene fluoride-co-hexafluoropropylene) (P(VdF-co-HFP)/poly(methyl methacrylate) (PMMA), and the porous separator based on poly (vinylidene fluoride) (PVdF) were prepared by phase inversion method. The porosity and morphology were controlled with phase inversion rate, which is governed by the relative content of non-solvent and solvent in coagulation bath. To enhance tensile strength, the solvent pre-evaporation and uni-axial stretching processes were applied. The ionic conductivity was increased with increasing stretching ratio, and tensile strength was increased with increasing solvent pre-evaporation time and stretching ratio. The 200% stretched PVdF separator showed 56 MPa of tensile strength, and the ionic conductivity of the stretched PVdF separator was $8.6{\times}10^{-4}\;S\;cm^{-1}\;at\;25^{\circ}C$.

크릴(Euphausia superba) 육을 이용한 인스턴트 죽의 품질특성 평가 (Food Quality Characteristics of Instant Gruel Prepared with Peeled Krill Euphausia superba Meat)

  • Instant krill gruel was produced using peeled Antarctic krill Euphausia superba as a high nutritional ingredient and the food quality was investigated. The food quality of krill gruel was examined by measuring proximate composition, cholesterol, calorie, Hunter color value, total amino acids, fatty acids, fluoride, viscoelastic properties, and by sensory evaluation. The krill gruel had a moisture content of 87% and a pH of 6.65. The krill gruel contained 51 kcal/100 g, and 0.1% fat and 3.5 mg/100 g cholesterol. Its fatty acid composition exhibited high levels of unsaturated fatty acids. The levels of oleic acid and linolenic acid were high, and n-3, n-6, and n-9 fatty acid contents ranged from 1% to 6%. The total amino acid content was 2132 mg/100 g, and the levels of glutamic acid, aspartic acid, leucine, alanine, and arginine were particularly high. Essential amino acids accounted for over 30% of the total amino acids. Fluoride level in the krill gruel was 3.07 mg/kg. The viscoelastic properties of the krill gruel were determined as 6.28 Pa at shear stress of 2.51 Pa. In the recovery test, the elastic restoring force after deformation was low.

남극 크릴(Euphausia superba)을 이용한 패티의 제조 및 품질 특성 (Food Quality of Patties Prepared Using Antarctic Krill Euphausia superba Meat)

  • This study developed patties using the Antarctic krill Euphausia superba and investigated the food quality of the patties. Three different types of krill patty were produced: krill patties with added 1) corn oil (CKP), 2) AA grade surimi (AKP), and FA grade surimi (FKP). Their proximate composition, Hunter color value, texture, sensory evaluation, and levels of astaxanthin, cholesterol, calories, total amino acids, fatty acids, and fluoride were investigated. The moisture and crude protein contents were highest in FKP. The calorie and astaxanthin contents were highest in CKP and lowest in AKP. The cholesterol content was highest in CKP and lowest in AKP. Measuring the Hunter color value of cross-sections of the patties, the L values were highest for FKP, and the a and b values highest for AKP. The total amino acids were highest in FKP and lowest in CKP. The major fatty acids were highest in FKP. The hardness and chewiness were highest in FKP and lowest in CKP. The fluoride content was highest in AKP and lowest in FKP. The sensory evaluation had the highest scores for FKP and lowest for CKP. Accordingly, FKP appears to have better food quality than the other two products.

Fluoride 첨가가 $ZnWO_4$ 소결 및 고주파 유전특성에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Fluoride Additions on Sintering and Microwave Dielectric Properties of $ZnWO_4$)

  • In this study, a new LTCC material using $ZnWO_4$-LiF system was attempted with respect to use as a capacitor layer in Front-End Module. Pure $ZnWO_4$ must be sintered above $1050^{\circ}C$ in order to obtain up to 98% of full density. It's measured dielectric constant, quality factor, and temperature coefficient of resonant frequency were 15.5, 74380GHz, and $-70ppm/^{\circ}C$, respectively. LiF addition resulted in an liquid phase formation at $810^{\circ}C$ due to interaction between $ZnWO_4$ and LiF. Therefore $ZnWO_4$ with 0.5~1.5wt% LiF could be densified at $850^{\circ}C$. Addition of LiF slightly lowered the dielectric constant from 15.5 to 14.2~15. In the given LiF addition range, the sintering shrinkage increased with increasing LiF content. $Q{\times}fo$ value, however, decreased with increasing LiF content(or increasing densification). This is originated from the interaction between the liquid phase and $ZnWO_4$ and inhomogeneity of grain morphology.
