시설원예를 위한 수평형 지열 히트펌프의 냉방성능 해석 (Cooling Performance of Horizontal Type Geothermal Heat Pump System for Protected Horticulture)

  • 수직형에 비해 비교적 가격이 저렴하고 냉난방을 동시에 할 수 있는 농업시설에 적합한 10RT 규모의 수평형 지열히트펌프 시스템을 $240m^2$ 면적의 온실에 설치하고, 이 시스템의 냉방성능을 분석하였다. 응축기 출구온도가 $40^{\circ}C$에서 $58^{\circ}C$로 상승함에 따라 소비전력은 11.5kW에서 15kw로 상승하였으며, 고압이 1,617kpa에서 2,450kPa로 변화하였다. 냉방성능계수는 지중온도 $25.5^{\circ}C$에서 2.7 수준이었으며 지온이 상승함에 따라 하강하여 $33.5^{\circ}C$에서 2.0 수준이었다. 또한 온실 내부로부터 흡수하는 열량(냉방열량)은 같은 지중온도 수준에서 각각 28.8kW, 26.5kW이었다. 가동 8시간 후 지열교환기가 설치된 60cm깊이의 지온은 $14.3^{\circ}C$가 상승하였으며 150cm는 $15.3^{\circ}C$가 상승하였다. 반면 지열교환기가 매설되지 않은 60cm 깊이는 2.4, 150cm 깊이는 $4.3^{\circ}C$의 지온상승을 보였다. 열매 체유가 지열교환기를 통과한 후 평균 $7.5^{\circ}C$의 온포가 하강하였으며, 토양온도가 평균 $27.5^{\circ}C$ 수준에서 토양으로 방출하는 열량은 평균 46kw로 지중열교환기의 단위 길이 당 약 36.8W의 열량을 방출하는 것으로 분석되었다. 팬코일 유닛이 온실로부터 흡수하는 냉방 열량은 평균 28.2kW이었으며, 열매체유의 온도는 $4.2^{\circ}C$ 상승하였다. 축열조내 열전달매체유의 온도가 $26.0^{\circ}C$에서 $2.0^{\circ}C$까지 하강하는데 3시간이 소요되었으며, 평균 축열율은 29.7kW, 총 축열량은 321MJ이었다. 또한 $2.0^{\circ}C$까지 냉열을 축열한 후 $25.4^{\circ}C$까지 방열되는 시간은 외기온이 평균 $28.5^{\circ}C$일 때 4시간이었고, 총 313.0MJ의 에너지가 방열되었으며, 이때 평균 방열율은 21.7kW인 것으로 분석되었다.

MR 댐퍼를 이용한 철도차량 승차감 반능동 제어 (Semi-Active Control for Improving Ride Comfort in Railway Vehicle by MR Damper)

  • Recently the maximum speed becomes the most important performance in high speed train. But the speed up of train will not give the passenger good riding comfort. The semi-active suspension system by using variable damper with hydraulic solenoid valve is used to solve this problem. But the variable damper with hydraulic solenoid valve requires tank for supplying fluid. In this study, the MR(Magneto Rheological) damper was considered instead of hydraulic variable damper in order to improve riding comfort. Dynamic simulation was conducted for semi-active suspension system with MR damper was made by using Matlab-Simulink S/W. According to control strategy of MR damper for improving ride comfort in railway vehicle, The riding comfort of the railway vehicle with semi-active suspension system was analyzed and compared with conventional suspension system by using the program.

  • n general, the function of intake structure, whether it be a open channel, a fully wetted tunnel, a sump or a tank, is to supply an evenly distributed flow to a pump station. An even distribution of flow, characterized by strong local flow, can result in formation of surface or submerged vortices, and with certain low values of submergence, may introduce air into pump, causing a reduction of capacity and efficiency, an increase in vibration and additional noise. Uneven flow distribution can also increase or decrease the power consumption with a change in total developed head. To avoid these sump problems pump station designers are considered intake structure dimensions, such as approaching upstream, baffle size, sump width, width of pump cell and so on. From this background, flow characteristics of intake within sump are investigated numerically to obtain the optimal sump design data. The sump model is designed in accordance with HI code.

벽면에 근접해서 회전하는 원주의 유동장 특성 (The Flow Field Characteristics of a Rotating Circular Cylinder near a Plane Wall)

  • The flow around a rotating circular cylinder near a plane wall is investigated by the measurement of the lift acting on the cylinder and by the flow visualization using the hydrogen bubble technique in the circulating water tank. The experimental parameters are the rotating direction of the cylinder. the space ratios $H/D(H/D=0.05{\sim}0.5)$ between cylinder and plane wall and the velocity ratios ${\alpha}({\alpha}=0{\sim}{\pm}2.0)$. In the case of clockwise, the lift on the rotating circular cylinder was increased with the reduction of the space ratios and with the velocity ratios, the upper separation point was more shifted in the rotating direction with them. In the case of anticlockwise, the absolute value of the lift on the rotating circular cylinder was increased with increasing the space ratios and the velocity ratios. the lower separation point was more shifted in the rotating direction with them.

  • We have investigated the mixing behavior of a tubular heat exchanger reactor using CFD and compared its mixing performance with different type of reactors such as jet mixer and continuous stirred tank reactor (CSTR). The mixedness in each reactor was quantified introducing a statistical average value, the coefficient of variation (CoV), which is a normalized standard deviation of concentration of a component over the whole fluid domain. Through the analysis of the flow pattern and turbulent energy distribution, we suggested a simple but effective way to improve the mixing performance of the tubular heat-exchanger reactor, which include the addition of the internals and/or the increase of the recycle flow rate. It was found that the CoV value of the tubular reactor could be nearly equivalent to that of CSTR by applying those two alternatives suggested here.

  • The depression of the external situation like the departure of WTO system and the plan of EEZ proclaim is forcing fishery into improving their fishing condition. By this international and domestic circumstance, development of the sea water cooling apparatus for fish hold storage is demanded sincerely. This study represents the thermal characteristics of the fish hold storage during transportation. The numerical analysis in this study is the finite volume method with the SIMPLE computational algorithm to study the seawater flow behavior in the fish hold storage. The computation were carried out with the variations of the circulating flow velocity and depth of fish hold storage. As the result of the three dimensional simulations, the mean temperature doesn't almost change by the circulating flow rate. find the mean temperature is suddenly changed by the ratio of depth of fish hold storage.

  • Dye to recent development such as increasing price of fossil fuels and energy offers such a solution. Wave energy supplies. Weve energy offers such a solution. Wave energy is the most consistent of all the intermittent renewable energy sources. In addition to this, very large energy fluxes occur in the ocean waves and by using appropriate wave energy converters the energy can be harnessed. The present study looks at utilizing a direct drive turbine of cross flow type to extract energy from ocean waves indirectly. This novel design incorporates a turbine in an enclosed in a closed tank. utilizing the energy generated from sloshing.

  • The high pressure hydrogen gas refueling system is required for fuel cell vehicle. In this paper, a commercial computational fluid dynamics (CFD) code, FLUENT is adopted to investigate the gas flow characteristics inside the check valve for various refueling and tank pressures. The results showed that the choking phenomena can occur for certain refueling pressures, therefore refueling processes should be divided by multiple stages. And a design method to prevent the seal departure problem which reported in CNG usages is required.

자동차 냉방시스템에서 건조기 일체형 응축기 개발 (Development on the Sub-Cooled Hybrid Condenser in Automotive Air-Conditioning System)

  • An experimental study was performed to understand the heat transfer and fluid dynamic characteristics of Sub-Cooled Hybrid Condenser (SCHC), which conventional condenser and receiver dryer are integrated into. SCHC also employs a sub-cooled refrigerant passages at the end of the condenser in order to supply perfect liquid refrigerant to the expansion unit. Throughout the present study, it was found that the developed SCHC increases in the degree of sub-cooling by 10~100% compared to conventional condenser. The excessive sub-cooling has improved the cooling performance by 10%, and that leads reduction in evaporator outlet air temperature by $1.5^{\circ}C$. Also found through the study is that the refrigerant pressure drop across SCHC is fairly increased due to insertion of the desiccant cartridge in the receiver tank which is composed of zeolite, filter and supporter plate.

  • Upon a turbopump's running, cavitation may occur at the inlet of the LOx pump by pressure drop and heat transfer along the LOx feeding line. Since the cavitation can cause serious damage to the pump or to stop running, the absence of the cavitation at the inlet of a turbopump should be confirmed before the using the turbopump. In the present study, the calculation of the volume fraction of LOx gas phase at the inlet of the pump are performed with different temperatures of LOx in the tank, pressure drops and heat transfers along the feeding line. This calculation method can be applied to define the limits of thermal and hydraulic characteristics during the design of a LOx feeding system.
