Purpose: This study aimed to examine the association of COVID-19 vaccine attitudes and cognitions of COVID-19-related stigma with vaccine hesitancy among college students. Methods: This cross-sectional study using a web-based survey was conducted with 242 college students in April 2021 before Korea's national COVID-19 vaccination program had begun. Data were analyzed using multinominal logistic regression analyses. Results: Of the participants who were unsure of their intention to receive the COVID-19 vaccine, 66.0% had less experience with flu vaccinations and were 1.43 times more likely to report a mistrust of vaccine benefits (OR=1.43, CI=1.22, 1.68). Those with no intention of receiving the vaccine were 25.0% less likely to be aware of COVID-19 stigma (OR=0.75, CI=0.65, 0.86), 2.08 times more likely to mistrust vaccine benefits (OR=2.08, CI=1.62, 2.68), and 1.53 times more likely to worry about an unforeseen future negative side effects from vaccination (OR=1.53. CI=1.16, 2.00). Conclusion: Nurses could play an important role in educating college students about vaccination benefits, including reviewing vaccines' side effects with evidence, to reduce vaccine hesitancy. College students who have less empathy for others regarding COVID-19 infection might have higher COVID-19 vaccine hesitancy. Accordingly, explaining to students the necessity of their vaccination in preventing transmission to the surrounding community and vulnerable populations is critical.

There are serious problems worldwide, such as a pandemic due to an unprecedented infection caused by COVID-19. On previous approaches, they invented medical vaccines and preemptive testing tools for medical engineering. However, it is difficult to access poor medical systems and medical institutions due to disparities between countries and regions. In advanced nations, the damage was even greater due to high medical and examination costs because they did not go to the hospital. Therefore, from a software engineering-based perspective, we propose a learning model for determining coronavirus infection through symptom data-based software prediction models and tools. After a comparative analysis of various models (decision tree, Naive Bayes, KNN, multi-perceptron neural network), we decide to choose an appropriate decision tree model. Due to a lack of data, additional survey data and overseas symptom data are applied and built into the judgment model. To protect from thiswe also adapt human normalization approach with traditional Korean medicin approach. We expect to be possible to determine coronavirus, flu, allergy, and cold without medical examination and diagnosis tools through data collection and analysis by applying decision trees.

The etiology and pathophysiology of delayed inflammatory reactions caused by hyaluronic acid fillers have not yet been elucidated. Previous studies have suggested that the etiology can be attributed to the hyaluronic acid filler itself, patient's immunological status, infection, and injection technique. Hyaluronic acid fillers are composed of high-molecular weight hyaluronic acids that are chemically cross-linked using substances such as 1,4-butanediol diglycidyl ether (BDDE). The mechanism by which BDDE cross-links the two hyaluronic acid disaccharides is still unclear and it may exist as a fully reacted cross-linker, pendant cross-linker, deactivated cross-linker, and residual cross-linker. The hyaluronic acid filler also contains impurities such as silicone oil and aluminum during the manufacturing process. Impurities can induce a foreign body reaction when the hyaluronic acid filler is injected into the body. Aseptic hyaluronic acid filler injections should be performed while considering the possibility of biofilm formation or delayed inflammatory reaction. Delayed inflammatory reactions tend to occur when patients experience flu-like illnesses; thus, the patient's immunological status plays an important role in delayed inflammatory reactions. Large-bolus hyaluronic acid filler injections can induce foreign body reactions and carry a relatively high risk of granuloma formation.
The emergence and resurgence of novel respiratory infectious diseases since the turn of the millennium, including SARS, H1N1 flu, MERS, and COVID-19, have posed a significant global health threat. Efforts to combat these threats have involved various approaches, however, continued research and development are crucial to prepare for the possibility of emerging viruses and viral variants. Direct detection methods for viral pathogens include molecular diagnostic techniques and immunodiagnostic methods, while indirect diagnostic methods involve detecting changes in the condition of infected patients through imaging diagnostics, gas analysis, and biosignal measurement. Molecular diagnostic techniques, utilizing advanced technologies such as gene editing, are being developed to enable faster detection than traditional PCR methods, and research is underway to improve the efficiency of diagnostic devices. Diagnostic technologies for infectious diseases continue to evolve, and several key trends are expected to emerge in the future. Automation will facilitate widespread adoption of rapid and accurate diagnostics, portable diagnostic devices will enable immediate on-site diagnosis by healthcare professionals, and advancements in AI-based deep learning diagnostic models will enhance diagnostic accuracy.

Purpose: Hand washing has received renewed emphasis in recent years as Swine flu epidemic threaten health of public. This study aimed to describe measures used to prevent new types of influenza (NTI); describe hand washing frequency; and analyze the relationship of hand washing to locus of control, uncertainty, and state anxiety. Methods: One hundred thirty three adults participate in the questionnaire survey in which participants indicated measures they used to prevent NTI, frequency of handwashing for the prevention of NTI. They also responded to questions related to locus of control, uncertainty and state anxiety. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, Pearson correlation and multiple regression. Results: A majority (66.9%) of the participants indicated that handwashing was an important measure to prevent NTI. Importance of hand-washing was related the highest among the measures they used and it was significantly related to participants who had high score in internal locus of control. Other significant factor to the hand-washing behavior was state anxiety, which explained 6.9% of the frequency. Conclusion: According to the results of this study, majority of participants indicated that handwashing was one of the most important measures to prevent NTI. Nurses need to continue educating public the importance of handwashing and pay attention to personal characteristics such as internal locus of control and anxiety to promote hand-washing.

Purpose: The purpose of the study was to investigate the health status(present illness, ADL and IADL), health perception, and health promotion behaviors of low-income elderly who are receiving the visiting nurse service in the community. Method: The sample of the study was 735 elderly over 65years old with basic livelihood security, who were conveniently selected from 245 public health centers nation-wide. Data collection was done using a structured questionnaire through interviews by visiting nurses. Result: The average number of present illnesses in the study subjects was 4.18. The average scores of ADL and IADL were 15.903.39and 9.772.97 respectively, which indicates a relatively independent everyday life. However, $64.2\%$ of the subjects perceived their health status as 'not healthy'. In terms of health promotion behaviors, $77.8\%$ of the subjects had ceased smoking, $83.9\%$ stopped drinking, $56.4\%$ had a regular diet, $45.8\%$ received regular physical check-ups during the past two years, and $66\%$ received flu shots. Approximately $50\%$ of the subjects were practicing 3-4 health promotion behaviors. Significant factors associated with health promotion behaviors were ADL, IADL and self-efficacy. Conclusion: Health promotion programs which focus on regular diet, exercise, and regular physical check-ups should be developed to improve independence of everyday life and quality of life among low-income elderly.

On farm evaluation for the control of airborne diseases like FMD and flu virus has been done in past but control of disease in process of transportation of livestock and manures is still needed. The objective of this study was to predict a common pattern of livestock vehicles movement. The analysis were done on GPS data, collected from drivers of livestock vehicles in Jeju Island, South Korea in year 2012 and 2013. The GPS data include the coordinates of moving vehicles according to time and dates, livestock farms and manure keeping sites. 2012 year data was added to ArcGIS and different tools were used for predicting common vehicle moving pattern. The common pattern of year 2012 were determined and considered as predicted common pattern for year 2013. To compare with actual pattern of year 2013 the same analysis was done to find the difference in 2012 and 2013 pattern. When the manure keeping sites and livestock farms were same in both years, as a result common pattern of 2012 and 2013 were similar but difference were found in patterns when the manure keeping sites and livestock farms were changed. In future for more accurate results and to predict the accurate pattern of vehicles movement, more dependent and independent variables will be required to make a suitable model for prediction.
Polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) were investigated in seawater and marine sediment from Anmyundo coastal area after oil spill. The concentrations of total PAHs in surface and bottom of seawater at August were 31.1 to 142.6 ng/L and 5.9 to 50.9 ng/L in August and November, respectively. The concentrations of PAHs in sediment were 21.0 to 102.9 ng/g D.W. and 32.3 to 57.4 ng/g D.W. in August and November, respectively. PAHs concentrations in seawater and sediment in August were higher than those in November about 2.5 and 1.4 times, respectively. Diagnostic ratio (PhA/AnT and FluA/Pyr) were investigated to identify source of PAHs in seawater and sediment. The PAHs in seawater originated from pyrolytic source and those in sediment originated from pyrolytic and petrogenic source. The glass, wood and coal origin was higher than petroleum origin on the combustion origin of PAHs in seawater and sediment. The seawater of Anmyundo costal area recovered from oil spill, but the sediments of that were weakly influenced by oil spill until now. Because this area is developed many fishing grounds, demanded Long Term Environmental Monitoring Program (LTEMP). The concentrations of PAHs on depth of sediments were investigated at station 8 and 10. The concentrations of PAHs were decreased with increasing depth.
