뇌졸중 환자의 상지기능, 일상생활활동, 치료적 몰입이 삶의 질에 미치는 영향 (Influence of Upper extremity function, Activities of Daily Living, Therapeutic Flow and Quality of Life in Stroke patients)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 뇌졸중 환자의 상지기능, 일상생활활동, 치료적 몰입과 삶의 질 간의 상관관계를 알아보고, 삶의 질에 영향을 미치는 요인을 파악하기 위함이다. 총 13개 병원에서 입원중인 뇌졸중 환자 249명을 대상으로 상지기능, 일상생활활동, 치료적 몰입과 삶의 질을 치료사와 연구자가 평가하였다. 그 결과, 뇌졸중 환자의 상지기능(r=.312, p<.001), 일상생활활동(r=.605, p<.001), 치료적 몰입(r=.525, p<.001)이 양의 상관관계를 나타내었다. 그리고 뇌졸중 환자의 삶의 질에 영향을 미치는 요인을 분석한 결과, 치료적 몰입(${\beta}=.344$, p<.001), 일상생활활동(${\beta}=.293$, p<.001), 발병기간(${\beta}=.145$, p<.05)은 뇌졸중 환자의 삶의 질에 유의한 영향을 미치는 변수로 확인되었으며, 이들 요인은 삶의 질을 35.9% 설명하는 것으로 나타났다(F=35.736, p<.001). 이를 통하여 치료적 몰입은 삶의 질에 영향을 미치는 중요한 요인임을 확인할 수 있었으며, 향후 치료적 몰입에 대한 계속적인 연구가 요구된다.

대학생의 웰니스, 대학생활만족 및 학습몰입과의 관계 (Relationships between Wellness, Campus-life satisfaction and Learning Flow among University Students)

  • 본 연구는 대학생들의 웰니스가 대학생활만족 및 학습몰입에 미치는 영향력을 분석하는 것이 목적이다. 연구의 목적을 달성하기 위해 웰니스, 생활만족, 학습몰입에 관한 이론적 배경을 바탕으로 연구모형 및 가설을 설정하였다. 본 연구의 제안된 연구모형은 대구지역 대학 재학생 214명을 대상으로 SmartPLS 2.0을 이용하여 구조방정식 모형으로 분석하였다. 분석결과, 첫째, 정신적, 지적, 사회적, 정서적 웰니스는 대학생활만족에 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났지만, 신체적 웰니스는 대학생활만족에 유의한 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 대학생활만족은 학습몰입에 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구의 결과는 최적의 상태를 의미하는 대학생의 웰니스가 대학생활만족도를 높이고 이는 곧 학습몰입에도 영향을 미친다는 점을 실증적으로 증명하였다. 따라서 본 연구의 결과를 기반으로 대학에서 대학생활만족 및 학습몰입을 높이기 위해 대학생들의 웰니스를 향상시킬 수 있는 다양한 프로그램을 마련하는 노력이 필요할 것으로 보인다.

Analysis of Blood Flow-dependent Blood Nitric Oxide Level and Half-life of Nitric Oxide in Vivo

  • Endothelial release of nitric oxide (NO) contributes to the regulation of vascular tone by inducing vascular relaxation. To estimate the blood flow-dependent nitric oxide level and half-life (T1/2) of nitric oxide in vivo state, we investigated the change of aortic NO currents during the change of aortic blood flow rate using NO-selective electrode system and electromagnetic flowmeter in the aorta of anesthetized rats. Resting mean aortic blood flow rate was $49.6{\pm}5.6ml/min$ in the anesthetized rats. NO currents in the aorta were increased by the elevation of blood pressure and/or blood flow rate. When the aortic blood flow was occluded by the clamping, aortic NO currents were decreased. The difference of NO concentration between resting state and occluded state was $1.34{\pm}0.26{\mu}M$ (n=7). This NO concentration was estimated as blood flow-dependent nitric oxide concentration in the rats. Also, while the aortic blood flow was occluded, NO currents were decreased with exponential pattern with $12.84{\pm}2.15$ seconds of time constant and $7.70{\pm}1.07$ seconds of half-life. To summarize, this study suggested that blood flow-dependent NO concentration and half-life of nitric oxide were about $1.3{\mu}M$ and 7.7 seconds, respectively, in the aorta of anesthetized rats. The nitric oxide-selective electrode system is useful for the direct and continuous measurement of NO in vivo state.

이상 유동 환경이 증기 발생기 세관과 지지대의 프레팅 마모에 미치는 영향에 대한 연구 (The Influence of Two Phase Flow on Fretting Wear between Steam Generator Tube and Supporting Bar)

  • Tubes in nuclear steam generators are held up by supports because the tubes are long and slender. Fluid flows of high-pressure and high-temperature in the tubes cause oscillating motions between tubes and supports. This is called as FIV (flow induced vibration), which causes fretting wear in contact parts of tube-support. The fretting wear of tube-support can threaten the safety of nuclear power plant. The tube and support materials were Inconel 690 and STS 409. The wear tests were conducted in various environments, which are in water without flow, in flowing water and in flowing water with air. The results showed that the flow of water influenced on the wear-life of tube. The wear-life of tube decreased in water flow as compared with wear-life in stationary water.

  • Recently it was reported that the life of Al Sacrifical anode is being used in port piers has been significantly shortened compared with the original design life (e.g. average life shortened from 20 years to 13-15 year) Those factors involving these problems mentioned above were seemed to be a quality of anode material and diverse environmental factors such as pH flow rate temperature Dissolved oxygen Chemical oxygen demand and resistivity etcm In this study flow rate and contamination degree(pH) of sea water affecting to sacrificial anode life hve been investigated in terms of electrochemical characteristics of Al alloy sacrificial anode It was known that the lifetime of Al alloy anode was shortened not only by increasing of self-corrosion quantity by varying flow rate of sea water but also by increasing corrosion current density due to the potential difference increment between Al anode and steel structure cathode by varying contamination degree of sea water. Especially when anode current density is from 1mA/cm2 to 3mA/cm2 and flow rate of sea water is under 2m/s anode current efficiency is 90% above However flow rate is over 2m/s anode current efficiency fell down sharply due to erosion corrosion as well as galvanic corrosion.

  • The purpose of this study was to compare the school life of Korean high school students between public and proprietary schools, especially focused on their internal experiences and flow. Internal experiences were composed of three dimensions: emotion, cognitive efficiency, and satisfaction. Flow was classified into four conditions: apathy, boredom, anxiety, and flow. The study results are: 1. Korean high school students felt more flow when they were in public school than in proprietary school,. In public school, they felt relatively more bored, and on the other hand, they were relatively more anxious in proprietary school. 2. Korean high school students felt more positive emotions when they were in public school than in proprietary school. 3. Korean high school students were more involved into study when they were in public school than in proprietary school. 4. Korean high school students were more satisfied when they were in public school than in proprietary school.

대학생 스키리조트 이용객의 여가몰입, 여가이득, 생활만족과 재방문의도의 관계 (Relationships Between Leisure Flow, Leisure Benefits, Life Satisfaction and Revisit Intention of College Student Customers in Ski Resort)

  • 본 연구는 대학생 스키리조트 이용고객의 여가몰입, 여가이득, 생활만족과 재방문의도 간의 구조적 관계를 규명하고자 하였다. 자료의 수집은 스키리조트를 이용한 대학생 229명을 대상으로 조사를 실시하였다. 자료의 처리는 SPSS 22.0을 이용하여 빈도분석과 신뢰도분석 실시하였고, LISREL 8.72를 이용하여 확인적 요인분석과 구조방정식모형분석을 실시하였다. 실증분석에서 얻어진 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 여가몰입은 여가이득에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 여가몰입은 생활만족에 유의한 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 여가몰입은 재방문의도에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 넷째, 여가이득은 생활만족에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 다섯째, 여가이득은 재방문의도에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 마지막으로 생활만족은 재방문의도에 유의한 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 나타났다.

Evaluation Method on Destruction and Removal Efficiency of Perfluorocompounds from Semiconductor and Display Manufacturing

  • Recently, the semiconductor and display industries have tried to reduce the emissions of perfluorocompounds (PFCs) from the globally environmental regulation. Total amount of PFC emission can be calculated from the flow rate and the partial pressures of PFCs. For the precise measurement of PFC emission amount, the mass flow controlled helium gas was continuously injected into the equipment of which scrubber efficiency is being measured. The partial pressures of PFCs and helium were accurately measured using a mass spectrometer in each sample extracted from inlet and outlet of the scrubber system. The flow rates are calculated from the partial pressures of helium and also, PFC destruction and removal efficiency (DRE) of the scrubber is calculated from the partial pressure of PFC and the flow rate. Under this method, the relative expanded uncertainties of the flow rate and the partial pressures of PFCs are ± 2% (k = 2) in case the concentrations of NF3 and SF6 are as low as 100 μmol/mol.

생명 문화 정립을 위한 시론적 모색 (Contemporary Explorations to Establish Life Culture)

  • One of the things that should be done first in establishing the cosmic life culture is to reflect on the old human-oriented culture. If the cosmic life culture absolutizes everything except for humans according to the logic of reason, its foundation will weaken or eventually get lost. Separating humans from the universe is just like separating life from it. Given that all life, whether it is humans or the earth, originated from the universe, such an effort for separation merely values an individual life by excluding all life or whole life. When the human body and the cosmic chi' blood are not in an active flow, it means there is a problem with life. What is in the greatest need in such a case is the sincere human mind that follows the principle of cosmic life. It is like the sincerity found in the pasonri singer, who mellows all the hardships and difficulties in the world out and create songs out of them like the shadow. It is the pansori singer's shadow that changes the universe. It is only when the extreme force of human mind communicates with that of the universe that the cosmic life or cosmic life culture can be created. In that sense, it is urgent to create life out of the universe inside me and create a universe out of all life in and outside me. It is such a grave plan in human history in that it involves finding the "Sanal" which is the core of life living hidden inside the body whose life force gradually goes away or inside the universe, and creating the culture of Bokseung in which it bursts out. The most important thing in life is the flow, and the mankind is currently standing in the life flow of the massive universe's chaosmos. The greatest task the mankind is currently faced with is to think over how to deal with the period of Big Chaos in the massive universe's chaosmos reversely and establish the cosmic life culture anew.

MRI with Continuously Flowing Laser-Polarized $^3He$

  • MRI of laser-polarized $^{129}$ Xe under continuous flow conditions has recently been used for imaging of porous materials, however, any attempts at using a continuously circulating flow of laser-polarized $^3$He have not been made until now, presumably due to its extremely long spin exchange time (5-10 hrs). Since the inherent NMR sensitivity of $^3$He is 80 times greater than that of $^{129}$ Xe when considering the natural abundance, $^3$He can be expected to be a better nucleus for imaging than $^{129}$ Xe even under continuous flow conditions. In this report, the first MRI with continuously flowing laser-polarized $^3$He is shown for a phantom of Teflon tubing, demonstrating the feasibility of $^3$He imaging under continuous flow.
