On-line 학습을 통한 ATM 호레벨 트래픽 제어 연구 (A Study on the Traffic Controller of ATM Call Level Based on On-line Learning)

  • In order to control the flow of traffics in ATM networks and optimize the usage of network resources, an efficient control mechanism is necessary to cope with congestion and prevent the degradation of network performance caused by congestion. To effectively control traffic in UNI(User Network Interface) stage, we proposed algorithm of integrated model using on-line teaming neural network for CAC(Call Admission Control) and UPC(Usage Parameter Control). Simulation results will show that the proposed adaptive algorithm uses of network resources efficiently and satisfies QoS for the various kinds of traffics.

관개용수로에서의 수면곡선 계산 (Water Surface Profile Computations at Irrigation Channel Networks)

  • A water surface profile computation model using a standard step procedure was developed for gradually varied flow at an irrigation channel network. Flow characteristics ab Banweol district near Suweon were field monitored during irrigation periol of 1987. The model was applied to the main system at the district and the simulation results were compared to the field data. The results are sumrnarized as follows ; 1. The simulated water surface profiles from the model were in good agreement with the measured water surface profiles at different flow rates. 2. The model applicability for defining a stage-discharge relationship at a channel reach was demonstrated with reasonable accuracy when water stage and friction factor were given. 3. The roughness coefficient was found to be a major factor sigrificantly affecting computed water surface profile among a few physical input parameters for the model.

Cross-architecture Binary Function Similarity Detection based on Composite Feature Model

  • Recent studies have shown that the neural network-based binary code similarity detection technology performs well in vulnerability mining, plagiarism detection, and malicious code analysis. However, existing cross-architecture methods still suffer from insufficient feature characterization and low discrimination accuracy. To address these issues, this paper proposes a cross-architecture binary function similarity detection method based on composite feature model (SDCFM). Firstly, the binary function is converted into vector representation according to the proposed composite feature model, which is composed of instruction statistical features, control flow graph structural features, and application program interface calling behavioral features. Then, the composite features are embedded by the proposed hierarchical embedding network based on a graph neural network. In which, the block-level features and the function-level features are processed separately and finally fused into the embedding. In addition, to make the trained model more accurate and stable, our method utilizes the embeddings of predecessor nodes to modify the node embedding in the iterative updating process of the graph neural network. To assess the effectiveness of composite feature model, we contrast SDCFM with the state of art method on benchmark datasets. The experimental results show that SDCFM has good performance both on the area under the curve in the binary function similarity detection task and the vulnerable candidate function ranking in vulnerability search task.

FuzzyGuard: A DDoS attack prevention extension in software-defined wireless sensor networks

  • Software defined networking brings unique security risks such as control plane saturation attack while enhancing the performance of wireless sensor networks. The attack is a new type of distributed denial of service (DDoS) attack, which is easy to launch. However, it is difficult to detect and hard to defend. In response to this, the attack threat model is discussed firstly, and then a DDoS attack prevention extension, called FuzzyGuard, is proposed. In FuzzyGuard, a control network with both the protection of data flow and the convergence of attack flow is constructed in the data plane by using the idea of independent routing control flow. Then, the attack detection is implemented by fuzzy inference method to output the current security state of the network. Different probabilistic suppression modes are adopted subsequently to deal with the attack flow to cost-effectively reduce the impact of the attack on the network. The prototype is implemented on SDN-WISE and the simulation experiment is carried out. The evaluation results show that FuzzyGuard could effectively protect the normal forwarding of data flow in the attacked state and has a good defensive effect on the control plane saturation attack with lower resource requirements.

  • SDN(Software Defined Network)기술은 네트워크 제어기능이 기존의 스위치나 라우터 등의 하드웨어와 별도로 분리되어야 하고 데이터 전달기능과도 역시 분리되어 개발 및 실행될 수 있는 네트워크 구조를 말한다. 네트워크를 계획하고 디자인할 때에는 SDN 기술을 적용하여 반영해야 자원을 효율적으로 반영할 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 일명 Applications SDN을 제안하며 이는 MPLS(Multiprotocol Label Switching) IOS의 절대적으로 필요한 부분을 코딩한 프로그램과 기존 IOS를 결합한 이점(Combined Benefits)을 통해 Controller 부분을 완성하여 적용한 모델을 제안한다. OpenFlow Controller는 LER(Label Edge Router)에 명령을 하고 라우터는 그 명령에 따라 패킷을 EXP bit에 따라 목적지로 전송한다. TCP/IP를 코딩을 통해 최적화된 IOS로 구성한다. OpenFlow 프로토콜을 이용하여 컨트롤러는 MPLS의 정의된 헤더를 패킷에 캡슐화 하여 전송한다.

  • In this paper, power flow characteristics of a hydromechanical transmission(HMT) are investigated using network analysis. The HMT used in this study consist of a hydrostatic unit(HSU), planetary gear sets, clutches and brakes providing forward 4 speeds and backward 2 speeds. Since the HMT power flows showing a closed loop and the HSU efficiency varies depending on the pressure and speed, a systematic approach is required to analyze the power transmission characteristics of the HMT. In order to analyze the closed loop power flow and the HSU power loss which changes depending on the pressure and speed, network model is constructed fur each speed range. In addition, an algorithm is proposed to calculate an accurate HSU loss corresponding to the experimental results. It is found from the network analysis that the torque and speed of each transmission element including the HSU can be obtained as well as direction of the power flow by the proposed algorithm. It is expected that the network analysis can be used in the design of relatively complicated transmission system such as HMT.

  • 도로교통량의 상당부분을 차지하는 트럭교통(truck traffic)은 교통혼잡, 주차, 교통안전 문제의 큰 요인이 되고 있다. 그러나 그 동안 교통수요예측 및 교통계획에서 트럭교통은 사람교통(passenger trip)에 비해 상대적으로 그 중요성이 간과되어 왔다. 트럭교통의 정확한 모형화가 선행되지 않으면 각종 교통수요예측 및 교통정책의 신뢰성은 낮아질 것이다. 본 연구의 목적은 교통수요예측 과정에서 트럭교통을 교통망(network)에 배정하는 기법을 개선하는데 있다. 이를 위해 본 연구에서는 노선배정(network assignment)의 핵심적인 요소인 기존의 BPR(Bureau of Public Road) 함수에 트럭 교통량 변수를 포함하여, 수정된 새로운 BPR 함수를 개발하였다. 본 연구에서 제시된 방법은 교통수요예측시 트럭 교통량을 고려하여 보다 현실적이고 신뢰성 있는 도로교통수요 예측치를 담보할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

  • Design of location erea(LA) in a cellular network is to partition the network into clusters of cells so as to minimize the cost of location updating and paging. Most research works dealing with the LA design problem assume that the call. arrival rate and mobile flow rate are fixed parameters which can be estimated independently. In this aspect, most Problems addressed so far are deterministic LA design problems(DLADP), known to be NP hard. The mobile flow and call arrival rate are, however, varying with time and should be treated simultaneously because the call arrival rate in a cell during a day is influenced by the change of a population size of the cell. This Paper Presents a new model on IA design problems considering the time-dependent call arrival and mobile flow rate. The new model becomes a stochastic LA design problem(SLADP) because It takes into account the possibility of paging waiting and blocking caused by the changing call arrival rate and finite paging capacity. Un order to obtain the optimal solution of the LA design problem, the SIADP is transformed Into the DLADP by introducing the utilization factor of paging channels and the problem is solved iteratively until the required paging quality is satisfied. Finally, an illustrative example reflecting the metropolitan area, Seoul, is provided and the optimal partitions of a cell structure are presented.

네트워크 흐름 모델을 활용한 모듈러 제품 설계를 위한 컴포넌트 군집화 (Components Clustering for Modular Product Design Using Network Flow Model)

  • 모듈러 제품 설계는 유연한 제품 수정, 제품 개발 및 생산 리드타임 감소, 제품의 다양성 증대와 같은 많은 장점들이 있다. 모듈러 제품 설계의 목적은 여러 개의 모듈들로 구성된 제품의 아키텍쳐를 효율적으로 개발하는 것인데, 이들 모듈들은 컴포넌트들 간 물리적, 기능적 상호관계 분석을 토대로 컴포넌트들 간의 유사성을 최대화함으로써 만들어 질 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 모듈러 제품 설계의 핵심 작업인 모듈화를 위하여 3개 단계로 이뤄진 체계적인 절차를 제시하고자 한다. 첫 번째 단계는 컴포넌트들 간 물리적, 기능적 상호관계 분석을 통한 컴포넌트들 간 상관 관계 매트릭스를 구성하는 것이고, 두 번째 단계는 컴포넌트들 간 상관 관계를 최대화하는 컴포넌트들의 군집들을 찾아내기 위하여 네트워크 흐름으로 모델링하는 것이다. 마지막으로 세 번째 단계에서는 선형 계획 모형인 네트워크 흐름 모델을 풀어서 컴포넌트들의 군집들을 찾아내고 이들을 모듈화 하는 것이다. 본 연구에서 제시한 절차의 이해와 실제 적용을 위하여 진공 청소기 모듈화 사례에 적용해 보고 절차의 타당성을 보여준다.
