  • We need measures that can come up with alternative about fishery living zone and enhance local acceptance for responding to the increase in the proportion of renewable energy production and construction of 12GW Offshore wind power according to Korea's Renewable Energy 3020 initiative and Korean-version New Deal. In this study, We suggest that differentiation plans of co-location model in connection with offshore wind power generation suitable for the East Sea. The East Sea is an optimal site for building of a floating offshore wind power generation(FOWPG) field. It is expected that economic effects like energy production, aquatic resource development and tourism industrialization by farming bluefin tuna which is high valued fish and suitable for offshore aquaculture on public waters in FOWPG field. And we can confirm that budget reduction, smart management by sharing operation management technology and increase in fishermen income.

  • Waterproofing methods for applying to roof-top in the building are various, but it is not enough to development, which are simplified and low-cost method for old building. Especially, these buildings have not only a low insulation, but a disadvantage for energy. A floating floor method is necessary for this. This study performs an experimentt about bonding capacity of complex panel for waterproofing and heat insulation. The bond strength experiment is based on KS F 4716, and it is considered by bond mix proportion about panel and slab.

  • This paper aims to discuss the concept of resilience in floating housing, to investigate the resilient features of floating houses & to review the possibility of floating housing as a new form of resilient living, and to suggest some reference ideas for the planning and design of floating housing projects. Resilient features of the floating house can be summarized as the buoyant characteristics for natural disasters, the easy employment & potential use of renewable and nearly self-sufficient energy systems in locations subject to limited energy sources, the movability, mobility, long life, water recycle system, prefabrication and modular construction with the potential for reduced environmental impact. Additional benefits include the potential for a peaceful and comfortable atmosphere due to direct connections with nature, good relationship with neighbors, a solid social spirit of unity, and sense of security. Considering the resilient features of floating house at a time of serious climate change requires a new paradigm, and floating/amphibious/floatable housing has great possibility as a new form of resilient living.

  • The structure borne sound is one of the most important factor in building acoustics. Nevertheless, there is not yet sufficient knowledge to predict its behavior in preparing the acoustical design of a building. We are concerned with the concrete floating floor construction, which is one of the most promising ways to control floor impact sound. This study is to develop floating screeds isolated from the conventional concrete floor structures, to improve the concrete floor systems for the purpose of the good sound insulation performance which protects the propagation of the structure borne sound. Floor impact sound in many apartment house buildings and developed floating floors was measured, and we can save many floor impact sound data.

  • The purpose of this study is to maintain the existing characteristics of the city by utilizing the physical decline status and floating population in small and medium cities residential areas. In addition, it intends to present the direction of flexible urban regeneration and maintenance by reflecting regional characteristics and current status. A total of three data were used in this study. Building data, floating population data, and census output area data were used. Building data and floating population data were classified into five classes. The graded data were joined to the census output area data and analyzed by overlapping the two data. As a result of analysis of 17 residential areas in 5 small and medium cities in Jeollanam-do, 4 types, 2 management models, and 4 indicators could be presented by grade and regional characteristics. This study is meaningful in that it is possible to plan regionally customized urban regeneration/maintenance management plans and projects through the typology of the current status and characteristics of the region, which is an important step in the bottom-up form.

  • The planning process of complex projects in oceanic architectural engineering is characterized by the cooperation of many involved specialists and by a high degree of information exchange. In order to improve the quality of the structural design of oceanic buildings, information of different involved partners in the planning process has to be integrated. This paper aims to introduce a concept of the integrated structural design for the floating-type oceanic building using STEP(Standard for the Exchange of Product Model Data). STEP(ISO 10303) is an international standard for the computer-interpretable representation and exchange of product data and it provides a consistent data exchange format and application interfaces between different application systems. In this paper, the structural design process and information of oceanic buildings is analyzed and product models are preposed fir the exchange of the structural design information between superstructure and floating structure. The entities for calculating wind loads, metacenter and restoring forces are represented by Express. As a case study a floating hotel is applicated to describe the STEP physical file.

  • This study is intended to know what is the legal problems to settlement and public announcement of property right for construction of marine architectural building in Korea. Firstly, the situation and the prospect around marine architectural building are examined Secondly, the legal concepts of marine architectural building and the application of related laws are analyzed. Thirdly, the problems related to public announcement of property right of marine architectural building are suggested. Fourthly, some improvement schemes to solve the legal problems in relation with property right of buildings on the water at sea and ocean are proposed. As the conclusion, the marine architectural building can be divided into fixed-type and floating-type in order to find the proper way to handle the public announcement of property right for that sort of building. The fixed-typecan be registered as real estate according to the Building Law through the amendment of the existing related laws. But for the registration of floating-type building a new law should be made. In the near future, improvements on the legal system related with the settlement of property right of marine architectural building should be made, so that private sectors can join construction and operation of the building. Especially a new law for the floating-type marine architectural building should be made as soon as possible.

  • This study for the development of water purification Artificial floating island maximizing domestic Artificial floating island patent trends and product development, according to the timing of patent registration was analyzed for trends. In addition, domestic invention patent technology Artificial floating island typed according to the purpose and characteristics of domestic patents were Artificial Floating Island. In particular, domestic leisure space with a growing population and the need for securing emerging role as a reservoir of water only in the past, who do appeal as a tourist destination or as an ecological space utilized, and accordingly will transform and the need to secure a hydrophilic, degrade water quality problems using this aquatic environment (water acquisition and hydrophilic), the requirements are a big obstacle is the reality factor. This patented product differentiation strategy through the analysis of the development of technology progressiveness (Field Application) in terms of water quality improvement and maintenance side, and the hydrophilic side scenery, ecological restoration aspects, and applicability to the field and taking into account existing technology economic aspects of distinction were presented and advertised a lot in terms of cost compared to other techniques without the use of highly efficient methodology for building a water purification and also appears identity appeal, wetlands, rivers, etc. can be applied broadly technician widespread deployment and installation time to less simple and more are expected to spread.

  • Floating architecture is a type of building that is geographically located on a sea or a river. It floats under the influence of buoyancy, and does not have an engine for moving it. Korea is a peninsula surrounded by sea except on the north side, so floating architectures have been mainly focused on two points: solving the issue of small territory and providing various leisure & cultural spaces. Floating architectures are expected to save energy effectively, if they use sea water heat, which is known to be clean energy with infinite reserves. To use sea water heat as the heat source and/or heat sink, this study proposes a model in which a sea water heat exchanger is embedded in the concrete structure in the lower part of the floating architecture that is submerged under the sea. Based on the results of performance evaluations of the sea water heat exchanger using CFD (computational fluid dynamics) analysis and mock-up experiments under various conditions, it is found out that the temperature difference between the inlet and outlet of the heat exchanger is in the range of $3.06{\sim}9.57^{\circ}C$, and that the quantity of heat transfer measured is in the range of 3,812~7,180 W. The CFD evaluation results shows a difference of 5% with respect to the results of mock-up experiment.
