The Characteristics of Worship Space of Worship type in Korea Protestant Church Since 1990 - Focus on the Traditional Worship Space and the Contemporary Worship Space - (1990년 이후 한국 개신교회의 예배유형에 따른 예배공간특성 - 전통예배공간과 현대예배공간을 중심으로 -)

  • Korea Protestant slower growth and social church's changes in the environment of the traditional worship center for the sermon to a variety of changes was required, because of this period reflects the availability of a new type of worship was to appear. These changes in the type of worship in the form of the worship space, and space configuration is affecting many more. This study was the type of church korea today, the type is classified as a traditional worship and contemporary worship, and to characterize the category by a change in the type of church worship space in the configuration that affects cases throughout the analysis was to investigate, study follows. Traditional worship the center of the altar, the altar placed platform form, a vertical elevation of the platform sheet form, the installation of the cross, place the side of the choir seats, church chair type attribute appears tradition and in part compressed pulpit appears symbolism. Contemporary worship to the exclusion of the symbolic elements of the platform open, flat sheet form and the platform was the preferred form of minor elevations of the flat, multi-purpose space used for worship to sermon platform placed around the altar of the adjustable type, the choir seats placed in scheelite, preferred form of scheelite was an individual chair. However, the characteristics of traditional and contemporary worship space features a mix of worship space, quite a lot of cases that have been found. Integrated and consistent element of the worship space, the worship of the discrepancy in the form of systematic theological depth analysis did not come true without lust about contemporary culture is changing rapidly to accommodate sprawl is judged. Therefore, the characteristics of the type of worship and prayer to understand the changes in the church building is a prerequisite to be a very important aspect.

A Study of Types and Forms of Branch-road in Traditional Korean Villages (한국전통마을에 있어서 갈림길의 유형과 형태에 관한 연구)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyse types and forms of branch-road in traditional korean villages. To do this, this study has selected and measured 87 branch-road cases of five traditional villages. An analysis of the case study has revealed the following results : 1. Branch-roads have four formations : 3 way, 4 way, multi-way and others. 2. Branch-roads comprise 64 percent of 3 way, 18 percent of 4 way, 8 percent of multi-way and 9 percent of others, respectively. 3. Topographic conditions have mostly affected the formation of branch-roads. 3 way of branch - roads are easily found in flat village. 4 way are multi-way of branch-road are found in semi-hilly and hilly village 4. 3 way of branch-roads have three types: T-type, Y-type, and y-type. 5. T-types are easily found in flat village, but Y-type and y-type are found in semi-hilly and hilly village. 6. Each angle of T-type is 171,99,90, respectively. It has turned out 8 degree is slightly deviated form the square. 7. Y-type of branch-road has an asymmetric form, comprising 145, 128, 87 degree of the angle, compared to 150, 150, 60 degree of symmetric one. 8. Average angles of y-type that are mostly found in hilly village are 175, 113, 72. Angle differences from each spot are 62 and 41 degree. It is assumed that 39 degree is a slope of least effort to walk. 9. 4 way of branch-roads have not only "+" type but various types of K, Y and Y, Y and y, T and y and a foot of bird. 10. It is assumed that multi-way of branch-roads, mostly found on the middle and bottom of the hilly slope, has naturally formed to connect up and down, left and right.and right.

  • Electrooptic characteristics of Xe-type flat fluorescent lamps (FFL) have been investigated by using a Q-V Lissajous method. It was found that the luminance of the Mgo-coated FFL became more than doubled compared to normal FFLs operated at the same driving voltage, indicating the possibility of the efficacy improvement in the MgO-coated FFLs. Change in the driving condition, in particular, the duty ratio had effects on the electrooptic properties, and it was found that the duty ratio of 50% was the optimum condition from the viewpoints of the efficacy and the lamp voltage.

  • Various parameters are involved in the frictional behavior of steel sheet during stamping. We performed various tests in order to investigate the influence of tool surface texture directionality upon the resulting friction in sheet forming processes. Four different tools were manufactured which gave us a range of roughness for both parallel and transverse texture directions. Each of the tools was examined in flat type friction tests under identical test conditions. The tool with the transverse surface texture produces significantly lower levels of friction than the tool with parallel texture direction. Considering the lubrication mechanism associated with transverse texture, one can imagine the lubricant being constantly supplied from the reservoir of the micro valley to the point of contact and hence producing the lower levels of friction seen.

  • The thermal behaviors of disk-pad braking models has been analyzed for a high-speed train brake system using the coupled thermal-mechanical analysis technique. The temperature distribution, thermal distortion, and contact stress in the disk-pads contact model have been investigated as functions of the convective heat transfer rate. The FEM results indicate that multiple spot type pads show more stabilized thermal characteristics compared with those of the flat type pads for the increased convective heat transfer rate. The maximum contact stress for a friction pad loaded against a rubbing disk was occurred on the edge of the pad at the disk-pad interface.

  • This study examines changes of internal structure and the ratios of room sizes of flat-type apartment housing and residents' demand of housing alteration. The main results are follows: First, the auxiliary space, such as multi-purpose room, storage & receiving space, becomes an important component of flat-type apartment housing. Second, apartment housings should be supplied to residents focusing on functions of space rather than the number of rooms. Third, the ratios of living room and storage space sizes have been increased as living space increases. Since the current apartment housings do not meet residents' needs, we suggest that residents' age, number of family, and economic status must be considered when apartment space are planned.

  • The purpose of this study is aimed at grasping the architectural characteristics of modern buildings in Gangneung from 1910's to 1970's. The results are as follows. 1) The commercial buildings are mostly unsymmetrical flat type and others except commercial buildings are mostly symmetrical flat type. 2)Up until the 1940's, staircases were located inner of building between the first and the second floor, however after the 1950's, they were separately located in one side of the building to ensure perpendicularly more space and easier mobility than before. 3)Windows were widely used in order to avoid monotonous wall elevation after 1950' s. 4)Striped decorations were put to use to decorate the front elevation of building. 5)Parapet which had decorative stripes to the top was generally used to hide roof.

  • Carbon nano tubes(CNTs) have been reported as field emission source because has a sharp tip, a high aspect tip, high chemical stability, high mechanical strength and low work function properties. In this study, we fabricated successfully the back-lamp of the I-inch flat type using CNTs, which was grown directly on cathode substrate of sodalime glass at low temperature. The brightness of CNT back-lamp is measured to $14 Kcd/m^{2}$ at $2000V_{dc}$ in spacing of $500{\mu}m$. And, the emission properties of packaged CNT back-lamp was analyzed as function of applying voltage and times.

  • The torque ripple reduction method is studied to improve the speed fluctuation of permanent magnet flat type brushless DC motors. To reduce the torque ripple, this study developed the compensation method of the 5'th harmonics component of air gap flux waveform which pass through the driving coils. 1/2 inch VTR was considered. As the result of this study, we can reduce the torque ripple and the speed fluctuation of the capstan motor about 20% then before and we can obtain not only better characteristics of wow/flutter but more useful capstan motors which can be applied in the multi-function VTRs.

  • This paper represents the heat storage performance of the flat plate solar collector. This research aims to application for fishing ship on the sea, and the solar collector has among of motions with pitching and rolling thus, this collector has to be a forced type circulation. In this research, we investigated the solar collector performance for the various collector tilt angle. As the experimental results with three types, we found that the S-type collector was excellent.
