Knowledge about career patterns of women In any profession and about factors which influence these career patterns becomes increasingly necessary because of the influx of ever-increasing numbers of women into the labor force, and the need for the development and utilization of the creative productivity of women. This study alms to investigate Korean female librarians' overall career patterns and verify relevant factors which might affect to their career patterns. As an instrument, self-reported questionnaires were sent to 1,251 full-time Korean female librarians throughout the country with regular librarian's certificate, currently engaging in public, college or university, and special libraries. Based on the data gathered, the interrelationship between their career pattern inclination and its influential factors were examined through hypothesis testing. Major findings of the survey are outlined in the following: 1). Female librarians' career patterns were classified into five categories with the group represented as Categories-2 (single; wishes to continue working after marriage; places an emphasis on the sense of occupational accomplishment and social prestige) accounted for the highest proportion$(33.4\%)$. 2). The result of the hypothesis testing revealed that there is no significant relationship statistically between social factors(parents' socio-economic status, etc.) and female librarians' career patterns. So the hypothesis concerning social factors were rejected. 3). In psychological factors(job satisfaction ; self-concept sex role attitude ; role conflict ; and achievement motivation), all except for self-concept were shown to be relevant with female librarians' stable career pattern. So the hypotheses concerning psychological factors were supported. 4). According to the result of multiple discriminant analysis conducted between the above four statistically significant psychological factors and career patterns, the most influential factor for female librarians' career patterns was job satisfaction and sex role. In conclusion, the following recommendations were made: For overall enhancement of Korean female librarianship, earlier career guidance and concrete sex role education for young women is urgent which enable them to establish correct viewpoint for their occupational career female librarians themselves' constant endeavor In maintaining positive attitude toward their job is required.

Purpose: At the moment prevention and treatment of animal related diseases is becoming a social concern as the demand for animal increases. Furthermore, The design of the veterinary medical teaching hospital are even more complex because they have to accommodate medical program for animal and education and research program for students. However, there are a few experience and useful guidelines for the planning of the veterinary medical teaching hospital. So it is not easy for the regional hub universities to work out the proper plan for the construction of the veterinary medical teaching hospital for their own. This study has been started in order to provide basic informations for the planning of Korean veterinary medical teaching hospital. Methods: Interview to veterinarian, intern and employee of the veterinary medical teaching hospital and Field surveys to veterinary medical teaching hospital in Korea have been conducted for the data collection. The drawings of three universities of veterinary medical teaching hospital have been analysed and diagramed. Results: The result of this study can be summarized into three points. The first one is that the veterinary medical teaching hospital spaces are divided into five areas (ambulatory care, central medical care, hospitalization, education and research, operations and support) and each area is divided independently and connected properly. The second one is that the veterinary medical teaching hospital differs from hospital in the detailed space plan in the sense that the animal is a patient. The third one is that each hospital has different operating practices and programs according to local conditions Implications: It is meaningful as a basic source of veterinary medical teaching hospital design in the future.

This is the time we need differentiated strategy due to consumer's standard of purchasing is becoming more complicated and corporate marketing war is intensely competitive. For a long-term strategy, making competitive corporate image is important because companies have their own competitiveness. In addition, importance of having a relationship with customer is magnified through consumers'direct and indirect experience. "The corporate complex cultural space is designed place for experiential marketing to convey its meaning to consumers." Under above concept, this study analyzed the theory of experiential marketing and conducted a survey which is based on experiential marketing strategic module (SEMs) using the analyzed theory. This study drew expression characteristics of space through case analysis and conducted a survey to have more effective corporate complex cultural space. As a result, the experience in the space enables people to understand of the space through five senses, not consist of simply chucks of sense-date, and this result emphasizes the importance of 'Event' because people tend to escape from restriction for reality to relive stress and have emotional satisfaction. In addition, it shows expression characteristics which provide sympathy as a flexible interaction through symbolical image. The result of the expression characteristics' survey is showed up to improve effect of corporate complex cultural space. This study is analyzing the corporate complex cultural space through experience marketing for the company which wants provide differentiated experience of various space expression methods and catching current position. Also, this study places its significance to give a way to increase space preference and effect of corporate complex cultural space. Based on the result of this study, I hope the future corporate complex cultural space will develop refreshingly.

This study has an aim to find out sensible factors of hahae Mask and to be helpful in developing design of products related with cultural products. This study selected and analyzed 32 vocabularies about sensible adjective to evaluate image of hahae Mask. Firstly, this study investigated image of hahae Mask through 32 vocabularies about sensible adjective and categorized 5 factors including 'attractive', 'native', 'interesting', 'active', and 'elaborate'. Secondly, sense had significant differences in 'native' and, 'interesting' based on kinds. Especially yangban Mask has more powerful nativeness than choraengi Mask, and is more interesting than jung Mask, baekjeong Mask, and bune Mask. Thirdly, the materials used in the products of hahae Mask generated differences of sensibility in elaborateness. Especially, elaborate image was emphasized about materials of glass. Fourthly, sensible image of hahae Mask was dependent upon population-statistic characteristics (age, sex, education) and characteristics of products(materials, kinds of Mask). If development of cultural products related with hahae Mask considers five sensible factors based on this study, it will contribute to development of design which coincides with consumers' needs.

In Italy, numerous jewelry ornaments have been actively manufactured from long time ago, since Italian has been highly interested in jewelry from the ancient limes, therefor jewelry industry of Italy has been improved at an alarming pace with latest cutting-edge technology through their highly-talented artistic sense and workmanship of precious metals that have been inherited without any interruption based on the traditional history and culture. One out of five ornaments in the whole world is made in Italy, so Italy is the biggest maker to manufacture ornament made of gold, silver and precious stone recording more than 70 billion dollar of annual sales. The diversified composite factors-handmade oriented ornaments with artistic concept based on their inherited craftsmanship from generation to generation and refinedly and sensationally harmonized design -have resulted in development and mass manufacturing for ornaments. Now days the jewelry maker of Italy have actively introduced improved management know-how and international approach for marketing and made a strenuous effort to newly technology and creative design through close relationship with designers.

This study is to find out how organic solvent will be propagated from painting inside the steel box girder of bridge. $2.9m{\times}3.0m$ of inside size of steel box girder is not suitable for painters to do his work comfortably and hygienically. Substance density(ppm)inside the space of the box unsatisfactory hygienical condition. Most of organic solvent(mainly toluene) came down to 0.5m in two minutes and 53sec. But personal protection for painter should be properly kept against flying this heavy organic solvent. longitudinally 27.1m in length is a cell unit of the whole length of bridge. Model XP-3l6A made in Japan is a main instrumentation adjusted to sense organic solvent especially toluene which can be measured up to 10,000ppm. Scenario analysis by computer program, safer release 2.0 has been performed first to estimate how the organic solvent will be propagated. And then actual test was done as a model. This has been measured for approximately five(5) minutes, with 30 sec interval. Actual measurement results showed much higher $10{\sim}20%$ than result analyzed by the computer program, meaning that this painting work can give worse effect to the worker who is painting inside the box girder of the bridge. The first meas urement level over the floor set up at 30cm height from the floor, because organic solvent was estimated to stay at the level. and then, they were measured at 1.0m, 1.5m level respectively, more.

In this paper, we examine the role of emotional acoustic cues including both prosody and voice quality parameters for the modification of a word sense. For the extraction of prosody parameters and voice quality parameters, we used 60 pieces of speech data spoken by six speakers with five different emotional states. We analyzed eight different emotional acoustic cues, and used a discriminant analysis technique in order to find the dominant sequence of acoustic cues. As a result, we found that anger has a close relation with intensity level and 2nd formant bandwidth range; joy has a relative relation with the position of 2nd and 3rd formant values and intensity level; sadness has a strong relation only with prosody cues such as intensity level and pitch level; and fear has a relation with pitch level and 2nd formant value with its bandwidth range. These findings can be used as the guideline for find-tuning an emotional spoken language generation system, because these distinct sequences of acoustic cues reveal the subtle characteristics of each emotional state.

This study was intended to compare the comfort of wearing each type of commercially available bralette. The trial wearing experiment was conducted on five women in their 20s who wear an average Korean bra size of 70A. The experimental bralettes were of four types: a bralette with both hooks and pads and a bralette without both, a bralette with hooks but no pads, and a bralette with pads but no hooks. The wearing test results are as follows. First, in terms of functional satisfaction, the padded bralette provided the greatest satisfaction in supporting the chest from the bottom up and bringing it to the center, and the bralette without the pad provided the least satisfaction. In addition, the level of convenience of attaching/detaching was about twice as high in the bralette with hooks than those without hooks. Chest compression was found to be greater in bralettes without hooks than in those with hooks. In terms of the pressure on the shoulder strap and on the lower chest band, it was found that bralettes with hooks had a greater sense of pressure than those without. In the appearance characteristics test, the unpadded bralettes scored higher than the padded one in the matter of feeling embarrassed, because in unpadded bralettes, the nipples were exposed underneath the clothes . This study is meaningful in classifying the design of the bralette and evaluating the fit for each design in the absence of prior research on the bralette.

The purpose of this study was to develop an e-textile using LEDs that can enhance visual and functional effects, and to identify their applicability to sportswear. By applying the design elements of fashion design concretely with LEDs, an e-textile design module is developed and that module is applied to the product, so LED application design can be proposed for use in a practical product. E-textiles have been divided into five categories, and their usefulness were verified by applying e-textiles to men's and women's sportswear. The product beign considered has a built-in tilt sensor, which illuminates the LEDs according to the user's movements, and allows the LEDs to be turned on or off in accordance to the user's preference. E-tatoo is a type of LED application that enhances the appearance by placing LEDs on a small area, emphasizing origin points, just like an actual tattoo. Designed with LEDs arranged in a straight line and various curved forms, e-strips can provide a function that matches the characteristics of each section of clothing or fashion item. E-wappen uses about 7-10 LEDs to give motifs a strong sense of visibility, thus adding to their vibrancy. E-panels and e-clothes were able to produce creative and high-value textures. It is also expected to be used for special purposes or bags as it is possible to produce high value-added textures that are creative and aesthetically beautiful. For instance, a progressive LED string on the straight line of female leggings can further emphasize rhythmic movements during exercise, and e-wappen also serves the purpose of nighttime protection. It is also believed that the application of dance or dance-related sportswear will make the movement of the performance more intense and lively.

This study was to explore the meaning and implications of nurses' representations in newspapers from the perspective of convergence. Four different Korean newspaper articles from Aug. 2003 to Sep. 2013 were analyzed by using a descriptive exploratory qualitative study, thematic analysis. Five themes were derived from the data analysis. In the newspaper, in general, professional nurses were described as patient-centered nursing provider with sense of calling for nursing. Also their positive portrayals as health professionals have noticeably emerged. Yet in contrast, nurses' negative portrayals as neglectful, lazy, and discriminating against the poor have been reported. The study findings indicate significantly enhanced nursing professionalism and nursing as a future-promising occupation. The results can be used to develop strategies to improve nursing public image in the media. For further exploratory study on the subscriber's image of nurses after reading the articles is needed.
