전기복합 추진어선의 안전기준 개발에 관한 연구 (A Study of the Development Safety Criteria for Hybrid Electrical Propulsion Fishing Boats)

  • 국내외 매년 지속적으로 증가하는 대기오염의 상당량이 선박에서 배출되고 있으며, 이러한 선박에서의 배출량을 감축하기 위해 정부는 환경규제를 강화하고 해양대기환경 개선을 위해 「환경친화적 선박의 개발 및 보급 촉진에 관한 법률」을 제정 및 시행하여 친환경 에너지를 동력원으로 사용하는 환경친화적 선박을 보급하여 해양오염 저감 기술이 개발되도록 하고 있다. 환경친화적 선박의 기술은 최근 순수 전기추진 내지는 전기복합 추진체계까지 진화하고 있으나, 선박의 안전한 운용을 위한 검사 및 설비기준 등 관련제도의 정비는 이를 못 따라가는 실정으로, 특히 국내 연안선박의 다수를 차지하는 어선에 대한 제도는 정비가 시급한 시점이다. 이번 연구를 통해 어선에의 전기복합 추진체계 등의 적용을 위해 핵심기자재인 배터리, 전력변환장치 등을 정의하고 이에 필요한 안전기준을 진단, 마련하여 친환경 어선의 도입과 보급을 위해 관련된 산업을 지원할 수 있도록 최소한의 안전기준안을 마련하고자 한다.

Bilge keel design for the traditional fishing boats of Indonesia's East Java

  • Seakeeping, especially for the roll motions, is of critical importance to the safe operation of fishing boats in Indonesia. In this study, a traditional East Java Fishing Boat (EJFB) has been analysed in terms of its seakeeping performance. Furthermore, a bilge keel was designed to reduce the roll motions of the EJFB using multiple stages approach. After installing the designed bilge keels, it was shown that up to 11.78% and 4.87% reduction in the roll response of irregular seaways and the total resistance under the design speed, respectively. It was concluded that the roll-stabilized-EJFB will enhance the well-being of the fisherman and contribute to the boats' safe operation, especially in extreme weather conditions. Moreover, the total resistance reduction of the EJFB due to the installation of the designed bilge keels also resulted in increased operational efficiency and reduced fuel costs and fuel emissions for local stakeholders.

선미식 트롤선의 해양피중 동요특성에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Characteristics of Motion Response of Stern Trawlers in Seas)

  • It is very important to investigate the hull response of a fishing vessel in waves to ensure the safe navigation and fishing operation in rough seas by preserving excellent seakeeping qualities. For this purpose, we measured pitching and rolling response of three fishing vessels in seas using real seas experimental measuring system and analyzed the data by statisticawl and spectral analyzing method. We compared the measured results with theoretical results to give the validity of measuring system and experimental results. From the result we know that a good agreement between the experimental and theoretical results are shown except following seas. But there are little difference between both results in the other deirection too, which are caused by the effects of short crested waves of real seas.

어선ㆍ예인선단ㆍ정박선의 항법적용에 대한 소고 (A Study on the Application of Navigation Rule to a Towing Vessel and Her Tow, a Fishing Boat and a Vessel at Anchor.)

  • In some cases a towing vessel and her tow, a fishing boat, and a vessel at anchor have a priority against a general power-driven vessel underway in the application of collision rule. This article aims at suggesting a practical guide for the construction of the meaning of a vessel engaging in fishing, a vessel engaged in towing operation such as severely restricts the towing vessel and her tow in their ability to deviate from their course and a vessel at anchor, which are permitted to have the above priority. The construction of the application of the collision rule on the above vessels is supported by the decisions of MAIA and the judgment of civil courts.

  • 우리나라는 대규모 유류오염사고가 발생한 경우 방제자원이 충분하지 않아 방제에 어려움을 겪었으며, 또한 방제에 동원된 어선이 효과적인 방제를 수행하지 못해 작업비용이 거부되는 사례도 이전 사고에서 경험하였다. 이에 대규모 유류오염사고 등을 대비하여 방제자원을 사전에 확보하고 또한 유류오염으로 인하여 많은 피해를 입게 되는 오염지역의 어선을 효율적으로 활용할 수 있는 방안의 일환으로 소형 선박에 장착하여 기름을 회수할 수 있는 효율적 장비를 개발하고 이를 정책화하는 것이 중요한 대안이 될 수 있다. 이를 위해, 본 연구에서 국내 실정에 맞는 소형선박 장착용 기름회수장비 개발을 위한 예비 단계로서 이러한 장비의 장착에 적합한 대상 선박의 선정을 위한 연구를 수행하였다.

자연친화형 농어촌 하수처리장 모델개발 (Development of an Environmentally Friendly Sewage Disposal Model for Agricultural and Fishing Village Areas)

  • In 1991, the ministry of Gov't. Administration and Home Affairs set up a minimum of one sewage disposal plant in each province. By 1995, 264 models of the capillary infiltration method were set up in 331(78%) villages and the contact oxidation method was set up in 52 places. Since the Gov't. sent a letter to each responsible officer across the country stating their disapproval of the capillary infiltration method, the environmentally friendly sewage disposal system has not been diffused. The current model(mechanical sewage disposal) being used, in agricultural and fishing villages, costs too much for maintenance and operation(\50,000 per capita per year). In particular, because of the difference in sewage characteristics of agricultural and fishing villages from urban sewage, the efficiency of the disposal system is very low. Also, because of the growing need for more disposal plants, the Gov't. is looking for cheaper alternatives. This study has analyzed 2 kinds of sewage disposal. The first is used widely in agricultural and fishing villages in Germany. The second is used widely in similar areas of Korea. It has intended to analyze the characteristics, merits and defects of the sewage disposal water plants and pebbles model which is used widely in Germany and developed compatibly for Korea.

국내 연근해 선박의 온실가스 배출량 공간할당 방법에 관한 연구 (A Study on Space Allocation Method of GHGs Emissions from Domestic Coastal Shipping)

  • In this study, we researched a space allocation method of emissions from domestic coastal shipping (passenger ship, cargo ship, fishing boats). We were building a geographic information data that is used in GIS for emissions of space allocation, and presented a methodology capable of performing the space allocated for each grid by calculating the emissions. Passenger ships were assigned emissions of routes each the ship that operated at a fixed. Emissions of crusing mode of cargo ship, was equally assigned to the safe operation line, which is defined for domestic cargo ship. Also, Emissions of maneuvering (moving into or out of port) and hoteling (operations while stationary at dock), was assigned in consideration of anchorage in the major port. Fishing boat was evenly allocated monthly emissions in the country every month fishing grounds formation zone. Based on these results, it tries to provide the basic data that can be used when you want to create a local government measures to reduce scenario in the future.

열전발전 장치의 연안어선 활용에 관한 연구 (Application and verification analysis of the thermoelectric generation system for a coastal fishing vessel)

  • The renewable energy sources can be thought of one of the major measures to reduce greenhouse gas emissions in the industries. However, the utilization technology for those sources is approaching in the different matters. One of them, thermoelectric generation might be applicable to fishing industry. A various of internal combustion engines are used in a wide range of fisheries. After the ignition process, the heat passed out from the exhaust outlet. Recycling the heat could be not only an energy source but also reduction of green gas emission. Therefore, this study was designed to verify the feasibility of generation from wasted exhaust gas and analyze the performance. The designed experiment devices were connected with a data logger and an electric loader to quantify the currency and voltage. The devices were installed in a coastal fishing vessel for a gillnet fishery. During the whole fishing trips, the amount of generation was measured by engine rpm and the fishing operation procedures including vessel operations. At the maximum 1,500 rpm in the practical range, the generation amount was 113.6 W. The amount difference in relation to connection method was within 5 W: serial connection was 111.4 W and parallel connection was 115.8 W.

소형 연안 어선의 최소 중량 설계에 관한 연구 (A Study for the Minimum Weight Design of a Coastal Fishing Boat)

  • 한국에서 건조되는 대부분의 소형 연안 어선의 경우 경험에 기초하여 건조되어지기 때문에 구조적 안전성 문제가 발생하곤 했다. 본 논문에서는 이들 어선의 구조강도를 증가시키고 생산 및 운용비를 줄이기 위하여 최적설계를 수행하였다. 어선의 무게와 구조부재의 주요치수들을 각각 목적함수와 설계변수로 선택하였다. 해석과정 중에 극소점을 피하고 CPU 시간을 줄이고자 전역 탐색법과 지역 탐색법을 결합한 하이브리드 최적화 알고리즘이 개발되었다. 또한 최적화 루프의 각 iteration 단계에서 제한조건을 결정하기 위하여 유한요소해석을 수행하였다. 최적화 결과는 초기 어선 모델과 비교하였으며 최적설계의 효과가 구조강도, 재료비 관점에서 검토되었다.
