일본 소비지 냉동냉장창고의 새로운 움직임 -수도권 냉동냉장창고를 중심으로 - (A Study on the New Trend of The Consumption District Cold Storage Warehouse Industry in Japan - Focused on Japan Capital region -)

  • Cold storage warehouse industry in Japan has been extended in its scale in terms of both the number of storages and cold storage capacity in order to meet the extended reproduction of the marine products industry. However, increasing total amount of the stored goods since mid 80s led to relative decrease of marine products while the number of storages was remained the same or decreased, though cold storage capacity was gradually increased and is maintained the increase of the average cold storage capacity. As structural change in the cold storage warehouse industry emerges, cold storage warehouses require new approach to individual storage management with 1)diversity of the stored goods; 2) more competition due to increase of the cold storage capacity; and 3) sizing of the average cold storage capacity. Therefore, this study analyzed how cold storage warehouse management activity with individual storage sizing changes; and significance of sizing and functional change in cold storage warehouses experiencing sizing, by observing leading cold storage warehouse industry of the metropolitan area in Japan. In conclusion, reorganization of cold storage warehouse industry in the metropolitan area in Japan can be summarized as follows: First, competition among cold storage warehouses in the metropolitan area in Japan is not simply limited to storage industry but extended to establishment and securing physical distribution function. Second, since cold storage warehouse industry is in Scrap & Build phase, decision of management executives on whether taking direction to maintain/continue enhancement of physical distribution function may cause drastic reorganization in the cold storage warehouse industry, Third, since profit of physical distribution management based on cold storage warehouses is insignificant, it is not easy to accomplish expected management outcome, Fourth, today's cold storage warehouse industry mainly characterized by diversity of the stored goods needs facility reorganization with comprehensive and functional integration covering from F class cold storage capacity to F&C class.

일본의 양식어장 이용제도에 관한 연구 -구획어업권을 중심으로- (A Study on the Utilizing System of Aquaculture Farms in Japan)

  • The objects of this study are to consider the current features and the development process of the utilizing system of aquaculture farms in Japan, and to suggest the theoretical basis for improvement of aquaculture system of Korea in the future through the analysis of background of the liberalization theory proposed recently. The aquaculture-fishery system of Japan was begun from the Meiji Era Fishery Act and New Fishery Act of the World war II. A small sum of fishery fee is paid to the fishery cooperative having fishing rights for securing fishing area newly, because the aquaculture of Japan belong to fishery cooperative not individual ownership of union membr of cooperative society, the other words, cultivation fisheries household. In case of Korea, there are several differences with Japan as follows; almost cultivation fisheries household has a individual license, the lisence of fishing rights are recognized as an article, the license of fishing lights are able to do sale. Therefore, it is needed to paid a lots of money for securing fishing area newly. On the other hand, advanced countries in the marine aquaculture such as Norway have reached the stage where the managing abilities of marine aquaculture are similar to those in the manufacturing industry. And the number of large scale aquaculture farms with developed technologies and advanced marketing strategies in those countries is increasing. Considering that the marine aquaculture in Japan under the similar fishery systems of Korea has developed the state-of-the-art management skills or lead to large scale management, it is difficult to expect the decrease in the production costs under the small scale family business in Korea and this will lead to the decreasing competitive advantage over the imported seafood. Therefore marine aquaculture in Korea needs to increase the economy of scale to acquire the competitive advantage.

철원양파의 저장실험 연구 (Comparative Study on the Storage Experiment of Cheorwon Onion)

  • 본 연구는 다른 지역에 비해 일교차가 큰 철원 지역에서 재배되고 있는 양파와 각 지역별 전남 무안, 전북 부안, 경남 창녕지역 양파의 생육특성과 저장 후 변이를 알아보기 위해 수행되었다. 그 결과 철원, 무안, 부안, 창녕 지역의 양파 저장 실험 결과 저장 전 과 후의 생육특성(구경, 구고, 구중)은 큰 차이를 보이지 않았다. 저장 전과 후의 당도는 저장 후에 당도가 약 1-2 brix 정도 감소되었다. 각 지역별로 저장 전과 후의 당도는 철원 양파가 높았고 저장 후에도 역시 같은 순이었다. 각 지역별로 저장 후 경도를 측정한 결과 철원(112.3g) > 무안(106g) > 부안(102.1g) > 창녕(92.6g)으로 철원양파가 높은 경도를 보였다. 경도의 차이는 지역별 낮과 밤의 온도차 및 재배농가에 따라 차이가 나타나는 것으로 보인다. 저장 용기별(양파망, 종이박스, 박스) 저장 실험 결과는 종이박스에서 부패수가 가장 적었다. 따라서 양파를 저장할 때 부패수를 줄이기 위해 종이 박스를 이용하는 것이 유익하다고 사료된다.

관습적 마아케팅경로에 있어서 구성원의 상호관계에 관한 연구 (The Interrelationship between Dealing Partners in Conventional Marketing Channel)

  • The objectives of this study are to conceptualize theoretically and to examine empirically the interrelationships among channel member's satisfaction, dependence, and performance being immanent between dealing partners, by integrating behavioral and economic approach to explain comprehensively the interrelationship between dealing partners in conventional marketing channel which have not studied in previous studies. To attain above objectives, latent variables and observed variables which had been immanent between licenced dealers and wholesalers in fish marketing channel were found out by exploratory study, and pre-test was conducted to select the proper variables, and then the model which could explain the interrelationships among the variables was set up. Three categories of varables were considered in this study. Namely, economic and noneconomic factors were identified as independent variable, the degree of satisfaction and dependence to dealing partner as intervening variable, and performance as dependent variable. The data for the study was obtained from a survey questionnaire of 214 licenced dealers who work in Pusan, Yusoo, and Kunsan and 190 wholesalers who work in whole country. Among them, 264 anayzable questionnaires(including 154 licenced dealers and 110 wholesalers)were collected. Statistical procedure to analyze the data was carried out by LISREL version 7. Major findings obtained from the results of the analysis are as follows. First, economic variables have a great influence on the degree of both licenced dealers' and wholesalers' satisfaction. Among economic variables, the degree of keeping wholesalers' payment date have greater influence on the degree of licenced dealers' satisfaction, and licenced dealers' faculty being able to send good fish in quality have greater influence on the degree of wholesaler's satisfaction than other variables. In short, licenced dealers make great account of wholesalers' payment, and wholesalers make great account of licenced dealers' faculty being able to send good fish in quality in dealing relationship. Second, noneconomic variables have more relevance to the degree of dependence in both sides than economic variables. This means that noneconomic variables as well as economic variables can be a factor to keep up the dealing relationship. Third, the degree of satisfaction and dependence have influence on performance in both sides. In the licenced dealers' side, the degree of dependence have greater influence on performance than the degree of satisfaction, on the other hand, in wholesalers' side, the degree of satisfaction have greater influence on performance than the degree of dependence. This means that wholesalers can easily substitute their dealing partner for another licenced dealer comparatively.

알긴산의 적정 에스테르화 조건 (Optimum Conditions to Esterify Alginic Acid)

  • 알긴산에 propylene oxide를 가하여 PGA를 제조 할 때의 에스테르화 조건을 구하고 이때 제조한 제품의 이화학적인 특성을 조사하였다. 1. 알긴산에 대하여 propylene oxide을 4몰 가할때까지 에스테르화가 증가하였으나 그 후는 큰 변화가 없었다. 2. 에스테르화가 잘 일어나는 알긴산의 함수량은 $30\%$ 이상이었으며 수분함량이 $70\%$ 이상인 경우는 제품의 탈수가 제대로 되지 않았으므로 수분함량을 $30\~70\%$로 하는 것이 좋았다. 3. 수분함량이 $44.15\%$인 알긴산에 대하여 Propylene oxide를 4몰 가하고 1시간 동안 반응시켰을 때 반응이 최대로 일어나는 온도는 $70^{\circ}C$이었다. 4. 수분함량이 $50.05\%$인 알긴산에 propylene oxide를 4몰 가하고 $70^{\circ}C$에서 반응시킬 때 반응시간 1시간까지 에스테르화율이 급격히 증가하였으나 그 후는 큰 차이가 없었다. 5. $2\%$$3\%$ PGA 용액의 pH에 대한 안정성을 검토한 결과 pH 3.0까지 점도의 저하가 거의 없었고 그 이하에서는 감소하였으며, $1\%,\;2\%,\;3\%$$5\%$의 PGA 용액은 의가소성유체의 특성을 보였고 pH를 변화시킨 경우에도 의가소성유체의 특성은 유지 되었다.

우렁쉥이 껍질성분 및 색소를 이용한 양식소재 개발 -3. 우렁쉥이 껍질 유래 황산다당의 기능적 특성- (Utilization of Pigments and Tunic Components of Ascidian as an Improved Feed Aids for Aquaculture -3. Functional Properties of Sulfated Polysaccharides from Ascidian (Halocynthia roretzi) Tunic-)

  • 우렁쉥이 껍질에서 추출한 autoclave 추출구와 neutrase 추출구는 지방흡수력의 경우 대조시료인 chitin과 chitsan에 비해 떨어지는 대략 250$\~$$300\%$ 정도이었으나, 포말성은 각각 0.70과 0.67로, 포말안정성은 0.50과 0.38로 우수하였다 Autoclave 추출구 및 neutrase 추출구의 유화능은 각각 $49.2\%$$47.1\%$, 유화안정성의 경우 각각 $48.3\%$$44.8\%$ 정도였으며 특히, 색소흡착능은 각각 $85.2\%$$85.6\%$로 대조시료에 비해 다소 우수하였다 항혈액응고능은 모든 시료에서 hPn 저 지효과는 나타났으나 PT값은 약 14.5초로 일정하여 혈액응고저지 효과가 거의 없었다. 특히 autoclave 처리구를 DEAE-cellulose ion exchange chromatography하여 얻은 F4 (획분4)는 APTT가 75초로 가장 효과적 이 었으며, Sephadex G-100의 $F_2$가 70초 정도였다. ACE저해능은 모든 시료에서 ACE 저해효과가 있었으며, 채택된 실험방법에 따라 동일시료 경우에 있어서도 저해효과 값이 차이가 났으며, 특히 DEAE-cellulose 이온교환 처리한 $ F_4$ (획분4)가 $35.7\%$로 가장 효과적이었다.

  • 우렁쉥이 껍질에서 분리한 황산다당을 부분정제하여 몇 가지 화학조성과 전기영동을 하였다. 추출된 황산다당의 화학적 조성은 sulfate, uronic acid, protein, chondroitin sulfate, amino sugar, hexosamine 등으로 이루어져 있었다. 전기영동결과 autoclave 처리에 의해 추출된 조다당류는 폭넓은 단일 band를 나타내었으나, neutrase 처리구는 세 개의 band로 구분되었다. Autocalve 처리구의 분자량은 약 40,000 정도로 추정되며, neutrase 처리구의 경우 고분자 band는 100,000 이상, 두 개의 저분자 band 중 하나는 약 22,000 정도, 또 하나의 band는 약 5,000 정도인 것으로 추정되었다. 이온교환수지 및 겔 여과하여 얻은 전당획분의 화학적 조성은 부분정제 전과 거의 유사하였다. Sephadex G-25로 gel 여과한 시료의 조성당은 arabinose, xylose 및 glucose는 흔적량 정도이었으나 galactose는 $71.4\%$로 대부분을 차지하였고, N-acetylgalactosamine 함량이 $14.5\%$ 정도이었고, D-glucuronic acid가 $6.3\%$ 정도 검출되었다. Sephadex G-100과 G-100-25로 정제한 당의 전기영 동 패턴은 거의 유사하게 단일 band의 양상이나 G-25 처리구가 다소 좁은 band를 나타내었다. 부분정제한 황산다당과 표준품인 chondroitin sulfates의 FT-IR spectrometer 분석 결과, 거의 유사한 결과를 나타내었다. 황산기나 에스테르 등 몇몇 중요한 원자단의 신축 진동수가 IR spectrum의 지문영역 ($500\sim700cm^{-1}$$)에서 나타났다. 황산기 중의 S=O 신축진동이 $1,240cm^{-1}$에서, C-O-S신축진동의 경우 수평향배는 $820cm^{-1}$에서 나타났다.

수산물의 유통단계별 가격간 장기균형관계와 인과성 분석 -부산지역의 갈치, 오징어를 중심으로- (A Study on the Long-run Equilibrium Relationship and Causality between the Prices of Fisheries Products at Different Levels of Distribution -Focused on Hairtail and Squid in Pusan-)

  • Fisheries products in Korea generally go through three markets, namely the wholesale market at production site (Market A), the wholesale market at consumption site (Market B), and the retail market (Market C), from producers to end consumers. As the products move from Market A through Market B to Market C, the marginal gap of prices asked in these markets demonstrates an apparent relationship. The producers, middlemen, consumers, and governmental departments concerned may influence the marketing prices of fisheries products. This study employing the cointegration theory tries to investigate whether causality of the price-setting among these markets exists and, if any, what it is. The authors have focused their attention on fisheries markets in Pusan, analyzing the long-run equilibrium relationship and causality between the prices of hairtail and squid among markets at different levels. Data used in this study cover the period f개m August 1984 to December 1997 fer hairtail, and the period from May 1989 to December 1997 for squid. The main findings of the study may be summarized as follows: First, regardless of the price time-series of hairtail and squid in individual market, the first difference is necessary fur satisfying the stationary conditions since each time-series is a first integration. This means homogeneous integration of time-series, which is a requirement of the long-run equilibrium of prices at different markets, is satisfied. Second, the study of the long-run equilibrium relationship between the prices at Market A and Market B shows that a long-run equilibrium relationship does exist for selling prices of the two species at Market A and Market B. Third, the ECM (error correction model ) used here to describe the long- and short-run dynamics of price change demonstrates that, in the case of squid, the price change in Market A will lead to a corresponding price change in Market B in the long-run period. In the short-run, however, the price at Market H is not only influenced by the price change in Market A but influence the price at Market A as well, that is, the Prices between Market A and Market B have a feedback effect. It should be stressed that the limitation in data collection, which cover only two species of hairtail and squid, is likely to cause a sampling bias. Nonetheless, we may conclude that a dynamic relation in the formation of prices does exist in view of the transaction amount of species at different markets. It is believed that the conclusion drawn from this study would not only contribute to a long-lasted debate on the direction of causality of price-setting among academic circle and fishing community, but would provide a useful standard for the policy makers in charge of the price-setting of fisheries products as well.

  • 식품관련 시장조사 기관인 Food marketing Instittue에 따르면, 미국전체의 식료품체인 가운데 25%가 최소한 온라인 쇼핑을 운영하고 있다. Safeway, Albertsons 등 대형 수퍼마켓 체인들이 연이어 온라인 시장에 참가했고, Melon Seed, FreshDirect.com 등 신규업체도 참가했다. 2002년 5월 Safeway.cm을 설립한 Safeway는 동년 7월에 8번째 점포를 시애틀에 오픈하는 등, 온라인 비즈니스를 확대했다. 최근 할인매장, 드러그 스토어 둥에 일부 시장을 잠식당하고 있는 이들 전통적인 수퍼마켓 체인들은 고객의 이탈을 막기 위해 비록 소수이기는 하지만 고객의 온라인 수요에 대응할 필요성이 있다고 생각하기 때문이다. 본고의 목적은 미국의 식료품 온라인 쇼핑에서 발생하고 있는 여러 문제점을 지적하는 것이다. Webvan이 Dot Com의 실패를 예증하는데 사용되는 주요한 전자상거래 비즈니스이다. 오늘날 온라인 쇼핑 비즈니스의 도전을 보여주고 이익을 낳기 위해 취해야 할 조치를 논의하기 위해 온라인 쇼핑 밴더가 참조되고 있다. 또한 본고는 미국의 Vons.com, Peapod.com 그리고 Safeway.com과 같은 온라인 식료품 쇼핑 비즈니스에서 나타나고 있는 추세, 신규 영업자 및 잔존 영업자들의 특성과 온라인 식료품 쇼핑업자들의 성장에 필요한 요인들에 관해서도 논하였다.

Bycatch Reduction by Experimental Shaking Codend Attached with Canvas in a Bottom Trawl

  • An active stimulating method for juvenile fishes to drive escaping from mesh of the codend was examined by shaking canvas in the bottom trawl followed by shrimp beam trawl. Field fishing trials by a bottom trawl were carried out between the Geomoondo and Jejudo in west of South sea, Korea by conver-net methods to examine the effect on the reduction of juvenile fish as a discard catch by generating a shaking movement of the codend using two pieces of asymmetrical semi-circular canvas. The mean period of the shaking motion with the round canvas was 10-15 s, and the range of amplitude as a vertical depth change was up to 0.4-0.6 m when towing speed 3.4-4.3 k't as estimated by peak event analysis. The escape rate of juvenile fish in conver-net by total juvenile bycatch (codend and cover-net) in 14 trials increased from 20% in a steady codend to 34% using a shaking codend in the bottom trawl, while the marketing catch or total bycatch was similar between steady and shaking cod ends. There was no difference in the body size of the fish and species composition between the steady and shaking cod ends. Above results demonstrate a new method for bycatch reduction actually up to 18% using an active stimulating device, although further experiments are needed to increase an effective shaking motion of the codend in amplitude and period for more bycatch reduction.
