중층 트롤의 어법에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Fishing Method of the Midwater Trawl -On the meneuveravilities of the fishing boat under operation-)

  • Due to depletion of fish resources as time goes on, the trawl fishing industries which have caught the demersal fish is confronting with financial difficulties. For the purpose of breaking these difficulties, trawlers are expanding the fishing targets to the midwater from bottom stock. The trawlers become to be able to detect the fish schools not only vertical but also horizontal direction by equipping the sonar system on board. Even though the operator locates the fish school by sonar, it is not easy to make a desirable catch of the fish school which is detected, for the reason of the maneuverring characteristics of trawler. For the purpose of enhancing the efficiency of a fish catch, the auther performed a series of on board experiments to investigate the maneuverablilites of midwater trawaler. The obtained results are summerized as follows: 1. The higher the RPM of main engine, the smaller the magnitude of turning circle. And it is smaller in the right than in the left turning 2. Towing speed varies irregularly under turning novenment. When the RPM of main engine being 560, 680 the angular velocities are 11.3deg/min, 22.5deg/min respectively. 3. The difference of new course distance between calculated by maneuverring indices and measured by experimental ship is high when altering course being large and towing speed low. 4. The faster the towing speed is, the shorter the new course distance becomes. When towing speed is same in right and left turning movement, the now course distance is shorter in case of right turning movement than in left. 5. It is considered to be convenient for a navigator to utilize the curves for altering course in order to steer the ship rapidly and accurately.

  • 이상의 결과를 요약하면 참조기(Pseudosciaena manchurica)와 꽁치(Cololabis saira)를 감장(監藏), 냉장(冷藏), 냉동(冷凍)하였을 경우에 참조기를 냉장(冷藏)한 것이 가장 효과적이었고 그 외는 거의 같은 결과를 나타내었다. 즉 참조기는 냉장(冷藏)하였을 경우가 단백(蛋白)의 손실(損失)을 제일 적게 한다는것을 알 수 있다.

Effects of Size, Impurities, and Citrate Capping on the Toxicity of Manufactured Silver Nano-particles to Larval Zebrafish (Danio rerio)

  • Objectives: This study was conducted to identify factors determining the toxicity of manufactured silver nano-particles (AgNPs) on aquatic organisms. Methods: For this purpose, we prepared several AgNPs with varied characteristics, including hydrodynamic size (nano-$^{ABC}Ag^{Cit}\;vs$-sized-$^{ABC}Ag^{Cit}$), impurities ($^{ABC}Ag$ stock vs $^{ABC}Ag$), and citrate capping ($^{ABC}Ag^{Cit}$), using a commercially available manufactured AgNP ($^{ABC}Ag$ stock). Acute tests were conducted using larval zebrafish (Danio rerioI). In addition, in order to determine the ecotoxicological potentials of various capping agents, toxicity tests were conducted with microbes, waterfleas, and fish for eight different capping agents that are used for NPs. Results: The toxicity of AgNPs in terms of 96 h fish $LC_{50}$ increased in the following order: $^{ABC}Ag$ stock < $^{ABC}Ag=^{ABC}Ag^{Cit}=nano-^{ABC}Ag^{Cit}$ < ${\mu}$-sized-$^{ABC}Ag^{Cit}$ < $AgNO_3$. After removing impurities by dialysis, 96 h $LC_{50}$ value decreased significantly from $126.6{\mu}g/L$ (95% confidence intervals [CI]: 107.0-146.2) ($^{ABC}Ag$ stock) to $78.6{\mu}g/L$ (CI: 72.7-84.8) ($^{ABC}Ag$). For ${\mu}$-sized-$^{ABC}Ag^{Cit}$ (ranging between 3.9 and 40.6 nm) and $^{ABC}Ag^{Cit}$ (40.6 nm and $9.1{\mu}m$), the 96 h $LC_{50}$ of the former ($43.9{\mu}g/L$, CI: 36.0-51.7) was approximately two-fold lower than that of the latter ($87.0{\mu}g/L$, CI: 73.5-100.3). Conclusions: In this study, we found that for acute lethality, the contribution of impurities and particle size was significant, but that of citrate was negligible.

어류의 가격형성과 수요구조분석 (Model for Price Formation of Fish and Its Demand Structure)

  • The purpose of this paper is to model price formation and analyze demand structures for fishes under the restriction of Korean fisheries regulations. This study suggests the model that the price of fish is formed by its quantity, expenditure, and habit persistence. In economic literature, such a fishery market demand is called the inverse demand with dynamic habit persistence. Based upon a static differential price formation model, the paper has generalized it dynamically incorporating habit persistence effects. The empirical results show that all the species have values less than one and (-) sign of price flexibilities, thus being price inflexible. The estimated habit adjustment coefficients are significant at the level of 1%. Especially, TAC species have the smaller values of them than those of other main fish species. The contribution and results are summarized as follows. First, the fishery market demand has a strong dynamic effects from habit persistence. Second, the fishery market demand structure could be analyzed in a way different from the ordinary demand analysis, which is based upon price flexibility, scale flexibility, and cross adjustment flexibility. Third, the limitation of this paper is that it ignores the increasing stock effects by catching restrictions, thus raising consumers' benefit in the future.

수산물 산지 중도매인 기능 변화에 관한 연구 (A Study of Middleman's Functions in Fisheries Port Market)

  • The purpose of the study are summarized as follows: First, it has researched the new functions of middleman in Fisheries Port Market. Second, the new functions which middleman have to perform in Fisheries Port Market consist of the origin function, marketing function, logistics function. The origin function consists of the discrimination of fish species and freshness, making the price by auction, financing, etc. Marketing function consists of various species assortment from not only fisheries port market but also non fisheries port market as frozen and import fish markets, finding the new selling markets as not broker but wholesaler, making the price and margin non through the action, processing, etc. Logistics function consist of fish stock, delivery Third, it has recognized the upcoming important problems by building up the new functions as middleman in Fisheries port Market. This study has used a questionnaire to verify 3 hypotheses. Research model, factor analysis, regression analysis. The result of this study are summarized as follows: The origin function influences positively on the effectiveness of middleman's performance in Fisheries port Market. Marketing function influences positively on the effectiveness of middleman's performance. However, logistics function did not directly influences on the effectiveness of middleman's performance.

한국 근해 쌍끌이대형저인망어업의 어장 변화 (Changes of Fishing Ground of the Large Pair Trawl Fishery off Korean Waters)

  • Changes in fishing ground of the large pair trawler were investigated by year, month and species off Korean waters. We used catch data by sea-block lat.${\times}$long.:$30^{\prime}{\times}30$) of the National Fisheries Research and Development Institute (NFRDI) and monthly fishing production statistics of Korean statistic information service from 1990 to 2007. In the 1990s, the demersal fish like Larimichthys polyactis, Collichthys sp, Portunus trituberculatus and Muraenesox cinereus were the dominant species, and in the 2000s, they were changed from demersal fish into pelagic fish like Scomberomorus niphonius, Scomber japonicus, Engraulis japonicus and Todarodes pacificus. Species composition of catch showed temporal variation by cluster analysis deviding into 4 period, 1990-1994, 1995-2000, 2001-2003 and 2004-2007. Fishing ground in the 2000s was decreased up to 2/3 in the 1990s, while the density of catch in the fishing ground in 2000s was higher than the 1990s.

  • 우리나라로 회귀하는 연어는 북태평양에서 서식하는 연어 중 가장 넓은 영역에 분포하고 있으며, 경제적으로 매우 중요한 어류로서 이들의 자원관리를 위한 유전학적 연구가 활발히 진행되고 있다. 특히, 베링해와 북태평양 지역은 연어의 주 성장지로서 인접국가에서 산란된 연어들이 혼재되어 있어 국가별 연어의 계군을 구분할 수 있는 유전적 마커 개발 및 적용이 필요하고. 본 연구에서는 각 국가별 연어 집단에 대한 유전적 다양성, 차이점, 구조 및 인구통계학적 연구를 통한 유전학적 특징을 밝히고, 베링해와 북태평양 지역에서 성장하고 있는 연어의 국가별 계군의 분포와 이동 양상을 제시하려 한다.

황해 및 동중국해 참조기, Larimichthys polyactis 자원의 장기변동 (Long-term changes in the small yellow croaker, Larimichthys polyactis, population in the Yellow and East China Seas)

  • The population of small yellow croaker, Larimichthys polyactis, in the Yellow and East China Seas has decreased significantly since the mid 1970s. Several management measures have been introduced to conserve it, but population size remains low. To rebuild this population, it is now necessary to consider more effective management methods based on the stock assessment. To determine long-term population changes, fishery and biological data collected over 34 years (1969-2002) were analysed. Yearly fish length compositions were analysed for the time periods 1968 through 1970, 1978 through 1982, and 1993 through 2002; and catch data was available from 1969 to 2002. Annual population sizes were calculated based on length composition, the relationship between total length and body weight, and total landings. Analyses showed that since the 1970s, average size of harvested fish decreased; the proportion of less mature fish (smaller than the 50% maturity length, 19cm) in catches has increased and the estimated biomass has decreased significantly. Consequently, the main management recommendation is that juvenile fish need to be better protected to allow the rebuilding of resources to a more sustainable population level. This will require fish size limit, permissible mesh size, and closed area and season regulations.

경남 통영 민양마을 잘피밭 어류의 종조성 변동 (Variation in Species Composition of Fishes in the Eelgrass Beds of Minyang in Tongyeong, Korea)

  • 이 연구는 경남 통영 민양 잘피밭의 어류상 조사를 통해 월간 출현한 어종을 알아보고 같은 지역 선행연구에서 동일한 조사도구로 수행한 결과와 비교하고자 하였다. 조사는 2021년 3월부터 2022년 2월까지 예인망(surf net)으로 채집하여 어류의 종조성을 확인하였다. 조사 기간 동안 총 8목 14과 20속 24종 8,670개체, 3,715.42 g의 어류가 채집되었다. 우점종은 날망둑, 살망둑, 별망둑, 베도라치, 그물코쥐치로 전체 개체수의 95.9%를 차지하였다. 이번 연구에서 출현한 어류는 9년 전 수행된 선행연구와 유사하게 망둑어류가 대부분이었고, 오염지표종인 주둥치가 처음 출현을 하였다.

열수추출 시간에 따른 대구육수 이화학적 및 관능특성에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Physicochemical and Sensory Characteristics of Cod Stock by Hot Water Extraction Time)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 대구뼈를 이용하여 열수추출방식으로 육수를 제조하는 것이었다. 제조한 육수의 이화학적 검사(수분함량, pH, 염도, 당도, 무기질), 관능검사(묘사분석, 기호도 검사)를 통해 열수추출방식을 이용한 대구육수 제조의 표준 제조법을 알아보고자 하였다. 수분함량은 가열시간 증가 시 유의적(p<0.001)으로 낮아졌으며, 색도는 이와 반대되는 경향을 보였다. pH는 30분 가열시료인 CS1이 가장 낮았고, CS5가 가장 높았다. 염도와 당도는 육수의 가열시간이 길어질수록 유의적(p<0.001)으로 증가하였다. 대구육수의 무기질 중 Na은 137.87~154.17 mg으로 함량이 가장 높았으며, Mg와 Fe는 가열시간이 길어짐에 따라 비례적으로 증가하였다. 이상의 결과로 보아, 대구육수의 무기질 중 Na, Mg, Fe의 함량은 가열시간이 따라 영향을 받는 것을 알 수 있었으나, K, Ca은 비례적인 변화가 없었다. 대구육수의 관능검사 중 묘사분석 결과, 육수색의 강도, 투명도, 비린 냄새와 구수한 냄새, 짠맛, 감칠맛은 가열시간이 길어질수록 유의적(p<0.001)인 차이를 보이며 강하게 평가되었다. 그러나 시원한 맛은 CS4가 가장 강하게 평가되었다. 대구육수의 기호도 검사결과 중 외관, 향, 맛, 뒷맛, 전체적인 기호도에서 CS4가 가장 좋은 것으로 평가되었으며, 가열시간 증가 시 좋은 것으로 평가되었다. 이상의 결과로 보아, 대구육수의 제조 시 양파, 셀러리, 무, 바지락, 물, 대구뼈 등 모든 재료를 넣고 끓기 시작한 시점으로부터 60분을 가열하였을 때 무기질 등의 영양소 함량은 높으며, 기호도는 상승된 우수한 대구육수를 제조할 수 있는 것으로 나타났다.
