화재감지기를 사용한 발화점추적기반의 자동소방시스템 설계 및 구현 (Design and Implementation of the Automatic Fire Extinguishing System Based on the Ignition Point Tracking using the Flame Detecter)

  • To reduce the personnel and material loss caused by fire, we propose the automatic fire extinguishing system based on the ignition point tracking using the flame detecter. This automatic fire extinguishing system is composed of the flame detecting system and the fire extinguishing system based on the water cannon. We study the method for the ignition point tracking and the automatic fire extinguishing using the water cannon and the flame detecter. The flame detecting system for the early fire detection and the ignition point tracking has to be satisfied the requirement of the detecting range and the flame detection time. So we study the signal process algorithm for an improvement of the flame detecting system.

  • "2008년도 화재통계연보"에 따르면 화재 발생의 약 34%가 호텔, 식당, 주택 등과 같은 실내 화재이고 그 중에서 약 53% 이상이 주방에서 발생하고 있다. 이에 최근에 국내에서는 공동주택내 주방의 화재소화 설비로써 주로 자동식 소화기를 사용하고 있고 형식 승인은 "자동식 소화기의 형식 승인 및 검정기술기준(KOFEIS 0101-1)"을 따르고 있다. 하지만 자동식 소화기 성능 평가 기준내의 한가지 환경조건만으로는 실제 주방에서 자동 소화기의 성능을 검증하는 것에 한계가 있다. 그러므로 다양한 주방 구조에 따라 화재 감지 특성에 대한 연구가 필요하다. 본 연구에서는 주방에서 레인지 주변의 형상에 따라 감지시간에 대한 영향을 수치해석 하였고 그 결과 화재 감지 시간의 차이가 약 100초 가량 차이가 났다. 또한 후드의 작동 여부에 따라서도 감지 특성이 다르게 나타났다. 이러한 결과를 바탕으로 주방 내에서 조리용 기름의 화재 제어를 위한 성능 평가 기준을 검증하고 개선하는데 활용될 수 있다.

  • Nowadays, there so many fire accidents happened in subways and tunnels, buildings. In this paper, the behaviors of subway damaged by fire, the fire protection techniques for evaluating subway structures stability are presented. To protect the tunnel by fire, flame detector method is resonable.

  • The technique detects radiant energy form a flaming fire of fuels contained carbonaceous material can be applied to fast growing fires. This technique applied detectors are ultimately effective when early detecting fire alarm system is required or the smoke and heat detectors can not applied. In Korea Fire regulation, a flame detector should be install in case that the installation height is higher than 20[m], chemical plant, hangar refinery. Therefore it is really necessary that a flame detector has to be developed as soon as possible. With foundation technique of flame detector, ideal sensing element and stable circuit design, a trial UV flame detector is manufactured. The stable and reliable technique of flame detector is established through the repeateed perfomance test and modification. An early detecting fire alarm device is developed through the modification, supplement of the structure and circuit. Results of the R & D for the manufacture of an excellent flame detecting device is carried out with the establishment of technique for the mass production and the qualified manufacturing process.

다중가스센서를 이용한 화재의 조기검출에 대한 연구 (A Study on the Early Fire Detection by Using Multi-Gas Sensor)

  • This paper introduced a novel multi-gas sensor detector with simple signal processing algorithm. This device was evaluated by investigating the characteristics of combustible materials using fire-generated smell and smoke. Plural sensors including TGS821, TGS2442, and TGS260X were equipped to detect carbon monoxide, hydrogen gas, and gaseous air contaminants which exist in cigarette smoke, respectively. Signal processing algorithm based on the difference of response times in fire-generated gases was implemented with early and accurately fire detection from multiple gas sensing signals. All fire experiments were performed in a virtual fire chamber. The cigarette, cotton fiber, hair, polyester fiber, nylon fiber, paper, and bread were used as a combustible material. This analyzing software and sensor controlling algorithm were embedded into 8-bit micro-controller. Also the detected multiple gas sensor signals were simultaneously transferred to the personnel computer. The results showed that the air pollution detecting sensor could be used as an efficient sensor for a fire detector which showed high sensitivity in volatile organic compounds. The proposed detecting algorithm may give more information to us compared to the conventional method for determining a threshold value. A fire detecting device with a multi-sensor is likely to be a practical and commercial technology, which can be used for domestic and office environment as well as has a comparatively low cost and high efficiency compared to the conventional device.

인화성액체를 촉진제로 사용한 방화화재의 감식기법에 관한 연구 (Arson Fire Analysis Involving the Use of Flammable Liquilds as Accelerants)

  • 본 연구에서는 연소잔류물에 남아있는 미세한 인화성액체의 성분을 검출하기 위해 가스검지관, Gas Chromatograph/Mass Spectrometer (GC/MS), 열분해분석장비를 활용하였다. 일반적으로 연소했을 경우와 인화성액체를 첨가하여 연소된 경우의 성분분석결과를 비교하였다. 결과적으로 인화성액체를 첨가하지 않고 연소 후 생성된 화재잔해물에서도 가스검지관이 반응하는 것을 확인할 수 있었다. 일반적인 연소와 열분해를 통해 생성된 화학성분의 차이가 있었으며, 이는 연소 환경의 차이로 인한 것으로 판단된다. 대표적인 석유화학제품인 우드데코타일(PVC) 시료는 인화성액체를 첨가하지 않고 일반적으로 연소시켰을 경우에도 감정인의 정확한 판단을 방해할 수 있는 방해물질인 Toluene, Ethylbenzene, Undecane, Dodecane 등이 검출되는 것을 확인하였다.

재실 감지 센서를 이용한 다용도 스마트 센서 개발 (Development of Multi-purpose Smart Sensor Using Presence Sensor)

  • This paper introduces a multi-purpose smart fusion sensor. Normally, this type of sensor can contribute to energy savings specifically related to lighting and heating/air conditioning systems by detecting individuals in an office building. If a fire occurs, the sensor can provide information regarding the presence and location of residents in the building to a management center. The system consists of four sensors: a thermopile sensor for detecting heat energy, an ultrasonic sensor for measuring the distance of objects from the sensor, a fire detection sensor, and a passive infrared sensor for detecting temperature change. The system has a wireless communication module to provide the management center with control information for lighting and heating/air conditioning systems. We have also demonstrated the usefulness of the proposed system by applying it to a real environment.

적외선 불꽃감지기 개발연구 (The Research & Development of Infra-Red Flame Detector)

  • 가연물 연소시 불꽃의 복사에너지 Spectrum분석을 통하여 태양광, 인공광과 Flame의 spectrum특성해석으로 불꽃감지기술을 정립하였다. IR파장대의 복사에너지를 감지하기 위해 초전형 감지소자개발로 PZT소자를 개발하였으며, Band Pass Filter와 회로안정화기술을 적용한 적외선 불꽃화재감지기를 개발하였다. 시작품의 성능은 신뢰성 있는 적외선 불꽃감지기로 검증이 되었으며, 연구결과는 휘발유, 석유화학제품의 연소시 발생되는 불꽃을 조기에 감지하는 복사에너지 감지기가 개발되었다.

화재감지기의 오보 감소를 위한 구조 신뢰도 분석 (Structural Reliability Analysis of Automatic Fire Detectors for Reduction of False Alarms)

  • Now it is reported that there are many companies and factories which confront to the problem of false alarm in Automatic Fire Detecting System (AFDS). Though an AFDS is a high-priced and very important device in detecting a fire. the problem degrades the reliability and utility, eventually faith. of the system. This is a research concerned about the problem of false alarm of fire detectors in an AFDS. Structure of detectors was modeled up as a general K out-of n system. and reliability characteristics including false alarm rate and missed alarm rate, are derived from it. For decision of an optimal structure of detectors. preliminary analysis on various criteria is accomplished. It is concluded that appropriate modification of a detector with plural sensors may increase the system reliability and decrease the false alarm rate.
