천연계면활성제를 이용한 친환경적 포소화약제 개발 (The Development of an Environmental-Friendly Foam Extinguisher Using a Natural Surfactant)

  • 본 연구에서는 천연계면활성제 조성물의 친환경적인 포소화약제를 개발하였으며, 소화성능과 환경친화성을 검증하기 위한 방법으로 한국소방검정공사에서 제시하는 "수동식소화기의형식승인및검정기술기준"에 의한 A2단위 소화능력시험과 안전성평가연구소(한국화학시험연구원)에서 제시하는 육생식물생장실험 및 어류급성독성실험을 수행하였다. 그 결과, 소화성능은 A급 일반화재 5단위, 육생식물생장실험에서 발아에 대한 $LC_{50}$은 75(g/kg), 생장에 대한 $EC_{50}$은 62(g/kg), 어류급성독성실험에서 6658 ppm의 결과를 보여, 현재 국내에서 상용화되어 있는 타 약제보다 월등한 것으로 나타났다. 또한 약제로써의 활용을 위한 기본 물성치 및 내부식성에서도 기준에 적합한 결과를 나타내었다.

  • This paper presents a smart firefighting appliances monitoring system based on big data analytics platform using GS1 for Smart City. Typical firefighting appliances are fire hydrant, fire extinguisher, fire alarm, sprinkler, fire engine, etc. for the fire of classes A/B/C/D/E. Among them, the dry chemical fire extinguisher have been widely supplied and 6 millions ones were replaced for the aging ones over 10 years in the past year. However, only 5% of them have been collected for recycling of chemical materials included the heavy metals of environment pollution. Therefore, we considered the trace of firefighting appliances from production to disposal for the public open service. In the paper, we suggest 1) a smart firefighting appliances system using GS1, 2) a big data analytics platform and 3) a public open service and visualization with the analyzed information, for fire extinguishers from production to disposal. It can give the information and the visualized diagrams with the analyzed data through the public open service and the free Apps.

  • 주택화재 특히 아파트 저층부나 일반주택은 자동화설비 대신 수동식소화기에 의존하고 있어서 사람이 없거나 노약자만 있을 시에는 화재에 매우 취약하다. 따라서 화채로 인한 희생을 줄이기 위해서는 발생한 화재를 초기에 자동으로 진압하는 것이 가장 중요하며, 이를 위하여 자동감지장치가 탑재된 경제성 있는 자동식소화기가 개발되었다 본 논문에서는 자동식 소화기의 핵심 기능인 열감지부의 최적 성능을 찾기 위하여 감지부 형상과 가열속도에 따른 작동온도와 응답특성 관계를 규명하였다. 자동감지소화기의 감지부의 이융성금속과 캡의 경우 두 재질 모두 열전도성이 우수한 금속임에도 불구하고, 각각의 미소한 두께변화는 주변 대기의 가열속도가 낮을수록 작동온도에 큰 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이융성금속 및 캡의 두께를 얇게 할수록 선형적으로 감소하였으며 작동시간을 최고 40초까지 단축할 수 있는 것으로 나타났다.

  • In recent years, the number of vehicle fires, as well as the number of motor vehicles, has been increasing rapidly. Therefore, several types of automatic fire suppression systems for the engine compartment of automobiles have been developed to extinguish automobile fires, and most of these systems use halon 1301 as a fire extinguishing agent. Due to environmental concerns, the phase-out of halons has been announced, so now there is a need to replace halon 1301. For this, a 1,1,1,2,3,3,3-heptaflouropropane (HFC-227ea, FM-$200^{TM}$) gas-filled Aqueous Film- Forming foam (known as AFFF) extinguisher was devised even though air foam extinguishers could be used. This is because the air in the foam bubbles is a source of oxygen required for the combustion reaction. It can be surmised that it is possible to increase the fire extinguishing efficiency of AFFF by filling in foam bubbles with a gaseous extinguishing agent. The best choice is the FM-$200^{TM}$ gas-filled AFFF, Which has the maximum expansion ratio of 62:1. This makes it possible for the expanded foam to rapidly fill the engine compartment.

  • 사물인터넷을 기반으로 실시간으로 소화기 주변의 상태와 화재 발생 여부, 소화기의 상태를 확인할 수 있는 웹 시스템과 화재 알림을 받을 수 있는 애플리케이션을 구현한다. 해당 시스템의 목표를 명확하게 정하고 구조를 상세히 정의함으로써 개발 도중 일어나는 오류를 최소화한다. 또한, 스마트소화기에 대한 요구분석과 설계, 구현 단계에서 제품 결함을 찾아내고 그 원인을 분석하여 결함을 줄이는 방법을 제안한다. 제안하는 연구를 통해 IoT 기반의 스마트 소화기에 대해 결함관리 신뢰성을 확보할 수 있다.

With the development of architecture technique while modern Higher buildings are increased high level and fire prevent facilities aren't reached to that level. The object of this study is present the problem which appear from the analysis of place standard for fire protection facility. This study described as a following order. First. We are going to look history of the fire protection system and change course of that with the year and facility. Second, We say the frame system and special nature of the foreign fire prevent Act. Third. We understand the control reality of fire protection system. Fourth. We took out the merit of foreign fire prevent law and the problem of our current domestic system. The placing standard of proper fire protection facilities that be presented from this study are followed next. 1) We have reinforce sprinkler system placing standard for the fire extinguishing and check the spread of fire. 2) We must to be ruled the standard for keeping fire prevention system that are received reality and people's idea. 3) We should prepare lawful basis which can be place fire prevention center. 4) We have to correct the standard of use about complex building without mainuse and we take increase the real effectiveness of this. 5) We ought to match the use of current fire prevention act and the use of architecture law.

화재피해 감소 위한 자동소화장치 적용범위 개선 (Improvement to the Applicable Scope of Automatic Fire Extinguisher to Reduce Fire Damage)

  • The rapid progress toward the 4th industrial society has led to possibilities of fire increase. It is pointed out that, though initial fire suppression is emphasized, the current legal systems do not sufficiently recognize the importance of initial fire suppression. In order to resolve this, problems of the current legal systems and regulations, as well as fire-fighting facilities to be equipped according to the size of specific fire-fighting objects, were diagnosed. Also, suggestions for improvement were provided through comparative analysis with relevant laws and technical regulations of Korea and other countries. According to fire safety standards such as NFPA, IMO, ISO, and Russian standards, automatic fire extinguishers are to be installed as per the adaptability criteria of fire extinguishers and automatic fire extinguishers. In Korea, the "Act on Fire Prevention and Installation, Maintenance, and Safety Control of Fire-fighting Systems" cover the types and scope of fire fighting facilities that include specific fire protection objects, such as electric room, power room, and substation room. This study has identified that, in case of a place with a floor area of less than $300m^2$, the installation requirement is not clearly specified. Therefore, in this study, fire extinguishing equipment and automatic fire extinguishing equipment to be added for each sub-use application are proved to have fire extinguishing performance of Class A, Class B, and Class C, respectively. In view of the fact that, in overseas standards, all space except containing such materials as Deep fire, metal fire and peroxide, can be installed with fire fighting equipment, a legal system for specifying the capacity units of fire fighting apparatus by application is, in this study, proposed.

주방내 조리용 기름 화재 발생시 레인지 주변 환경이 감지 시간에 미치는 영향에 대한 수치해석적 연구 (Numerical Study on the Effect of Range Surrounding Environment on Detecting Time for Cooking Oil Fire in Kitchen)

  • "2008년도 화재통계연보"에 따르면 화재 발생의 약 34%가 호텔, 식당, 주택 등과 같은 실내 화재이고 그 중에서 약 53% 이상이 주방에서 발생하고 있다. 이에 최근에 국내에서는 공동주택내 주방의 화재소화 설비로써 주로 자동식 소화기를 사용하고 있고 형식 승인은 "자동식 소화기의 형식 승인 및 검정기술기준(KOFEIS 0101-1)"을 따르고 있다. 하지만 자동식 소화기 성능 평가 기준내의 한가지 환경조건만으로는 실제 주방에서 자동 소화기의 성능을 검증하는 것에 한계가 있다. 그러므로 다양한 주방 구조에 따라 화재 감지 특성에 대한 연구가 필요하다. 본 연구에서는 주방에서 레인지 주변의 형상에 따라 감지시간에 대한 영향을 수치해석 하였고 그 결과 화재 감지 시간의 차이가 약 100초 가량 차이가 났다. 또한 후드의 작동 여부에 따라서도 감지 특성이 다르게 나타났다. 이러한 결과를 바탕으로 주방 내에서 조리용 기름의 화재 제어를 위한 성능 평가 기준을 검증하고 개선하는데 활용될 수 있다.
