A Study on the Wildland Fire Total Hazard Classification (산림화재 종합위험등급화에 관한 연구)

  • Recently, intentional arsons for exploitation and wildland fire caused by abnormal change of weather are increasing as well as the damage scale due to such fire in the world. The number of such big wildland fire is also increasing in Korea these days. Fire prevention activity can be said as more important than fire putting-out activity after a fire occurrence for the most effective way to cope with wildland fire, and the research on wildland fire prevention system is what we need to do urgently, In this study I examined and analyzed the experiments and data about the factors influencing wildland fire and stated the dangerousness of each factor for all of the 6 factors and set up the general dangerousness rating applying each factor's contribution to the dangerousness.

  • When back-out & firing Process applies heat, hume is piled up in exhaust duct by organic compound and it have high dangerousness. There by, the process is happening a lot of damage that is exhaust duct fire. However we do not have certain fire dangerousness estimation and digestion countermeasure. So we need preventive measure. Back-out & firing is a process which has fine structure, electrical and mechanical characteristics, such as firing kiln and back-out kiln which has pipe line and box type. The box oven is made of heating coil, fan motor and control panel. Back-out & firing process has air circulation institution of quick ventilation type. When we operate this process for long time, fire can break out easily. Duct is made by zinc shredder. If fire breaks out in duct inside, fire by deposit fume can be dispersed easily. Accordinglym, This project estimate danger for back-out & firing process exhaust duct through real fire test. And there is purpose of study to establish preventive measure.

  • There is not high level to fire number in stables, but if it were fire, there would be happened many property damage in a national or personal. We grasp safety awareness of a safety supervisor enforcing question survey of electric installation for national stables, and investigate use the actual condition of electric installment with a heating apparatus, a ventilating system, a distributing board, a wiring apparatus etc high fire dangerousness among electric installment using a stables I hope to make use of data to protect a electric fire submitted thesis.

  • In this research, to establish the emission for the people who are clearing out, through the numerical analysis using the CFD model, the dangerousness has been investigated in the various emission conditions in a station platform. As a result of research, it is found out that the temperature variation falls between 65.37% and 74.97% to compare without installation of platform screen doors. In the addition, with the supply mode or push-pull mode, the warm current is generated in the platform so the temperature and the layer of smoke are stirred up and felled off. It will make the dangerousness when the people escape. Therefore, when the capacity of emission and the space of platform is set up, the design regards the properties of the fire emission.

  • As the rapid and various changing of social aspects, the structures are getting bigger, higher and more complex. The importance of evacuation is on the rise as increased using frequency of multiplex area and it's high population density. According to the result of a survey with 2 domestic multiplex population density, the maximum was 0.43(人/$m^2$) and 0.51(人/$m^2$). considering evacuation dangerousness, the maximum value will be suitable for computation of evacuation capacity and this will be submitted as a basic data for computation of evacuation capacity.

  • Recently, there has been increased demand for automatic warehouses with racks which are installed inside the warehouses to allow vertical loading of products or goods for space efficiency. Therefore considerations about fire hazards are extremely necessary. In this study, the fire hazard of automatic warehouse with racks was analyzed in the view of fire prevention engineering. It appeared its fire hazard was extremely high because of the undefined fire zones, the windowless floor, the large volume, the difficulty of extinguishment and the smoke emission in the view of building itself, and because of the fire hazard of load itself, the high fire load, and the chimney effect in the view of fire.

  • This study was performed to analyze the vulnerability of the situation in which combat system is shot by external projectile impacts. In developing combat system, it is vital to consider the survivability as well as its mission capability because it is directly connected with loss of lives. Especially, when the parts which are susceptible to fire are shot under battle situation, the system is exposed to the dangerousness and the situation when the parts such as fuel tanks are impacted by external projectile impacts can lead to flash fire as a result of the leakage of fuel. Therefore, in this study the possibility of flash fire was calculated by analyzing a variety of variables supposing that fuel tank in the combat system is shot. The aim of this study is to suggest effective methods in the basic steps when combat system is designed.

  • Recently Korea has imported and executed Performance Based Design for the method to settle the dangerousness on outbreak of fire of high-rise building. The overseas country's PBD is autonomic but It is unable to carry out the essential role of PBD as the performance based design that based the code based design in the domestic. Also It occurs the problems that different the classification standard of building as dualisation between the building code and the fire services act. In this study, We have investigated overseas's cases for the PBD of high-rise building and have drawn the improvement direction & the problem of domestic's PBD by comparing and the analysing the domestic regulation.
