  • The childhood reading and physical environments are an important factor for shaping personality and values established. Therefore, We have to provide a quality environment for correct reading habits to children. the purpose of this study is to provide a basic interior data through the analysis of case study. for this purpose this study has analyzed of 5 children's reading room of public libraries built in Seoul since 2000. especially the research which it analyzed these reading room of forms of space, furniture, color, finish material, lighting. the results of this study are follows : Chairs and desks were not considered of children's scale or uniformly made. compositions of convenient facilities has insufficient component. finish material and lighting plan is similar to adults reading room plan. To give correct reading habits and interest to children, considered space design is necessary.

동해연안 주택외관의 인지특성에 관한 연구 (An Analysis on the characteristic of recognition about Individual Housing according to the landscape in Donghae Seaside)

  • This study is about finding out characteristic of recognition individual housing in seaside of Donghae. To accomplish this purpose, we survey the 150 houses related to the landscape. Thus the major analysis is to take basic data, such as image(modern, western, traditional, etc) about exterior form of housing corresponding to the landscape. The result summarized as follows First, the elements for the characteristic of recognition were exterior material finish, exterior color, roof type, roof material finish, window size, roof slope, area of wall vs roof. Second, the image of traditional housing was very insufficient to plan landscape of housing with design elements. This research suggests that landscape housing of future is to be environmental landscape design and the proper design is to be various considering not only user's preference but also control of landscape.

상악중절치에서 전부도재관의 finish line형태에 따른 파절강도와 응력 분포에 관한 연구 (THE FRACTURE RESISTANCE AND STRESS DISTRIBUTION OF ALL CERAMIC CROWNS WITH TWO TYPES OF FINISH LINE ON MAXILLARY CENTRAL INCISOR)

  • Purpose : The purpose of this study was to compare the fracture resistance of the IPS Empress ceramic crown with 1.0mm width rounded shoulder, which is usually recommended in all ceramic crown. and 0.5mm width chamfer finish lines on the maxillary central incisor. Material and method : After 15 metal dies were made for each group, the IPS Empress all ceramic crowns were fabricated and cemented with resin cement(Bistite resin cement, Tokuyama Soda Co. LTD., Japan) on the metal die. The cemented crowns were mounted on the positioning jig and the universal testing machine(Zwick Z020, Zwick Co. Germany)was used to measure the fracture strength with loading on the incisal edge. And also, three-dimensional finite element stress analysis was used to measure the stress distribution with the various types of the finish lines(1.0mm width rounded shoulder, 0.5mm width chamfer), the loading site(incisal edge, incisal $\frac{1}{3}$) and the type of loading(concentration loading, distribution loading). Results and conclusion : 1. In the fracture resistance experiment according to the finish line, the mean fracture strength of rounded shoulder(876N) and the mean fracture strength of chamfer(882N) did not skew any significant difference between each other(p>0.05). 2. The stress distribution of all ceramic crown in three dimensional finite element analysis showed concentration aspect at loading point and cervical area or labial surface. 3. In metal die, there were no differences in stress distribution between finish lines, but in natural teeth model, chamfer finish line showed higher stress than rounded shoulder finish line. 4. When force was loaded on the incisal edge the stress was concentrated on the incisal edge and the cervical area of labial surface. When force was loaded on the incisal $\frac{1}{3}$, the stress concentrated on the cervical area of labial surface and the cingulum area. 5. Generally, natural teeth model showed higher and various stress than the metal die.

노출콘크리트 마감공법의 시공 프로세스 분석을 통한 설계 시공관리 방안 (The Design and Construction Management of Exposed Concrete Finish Work through the Construction Process Analysis)

  • 노출 콘크리트 마감공법은 건축설계자의 입면 개념에 따라 일반 및 제물치장 콘크리트 마감공법과 더불어 다양한 마감품질과 표면형태를 나타내며 최근 적용사례가 꾸준히 증가하고 있는 추세이다. 노출 콘크리트 마감공법은 설계 및 시공수준, 마감면의 품질 및 평활도, 색상 및 질감에 따라 타 콘크리트 마감공법보다 공사비 투입이 증가되고 체계적인 설계 및 시공관리가 요구됨에도 불구하고 노출 콘크리트 마감공법에 대한 정의가 불명확하고 설계, 시공, 유지관리 단계별 관리 방안이 구체적으로 제시되지 않아 원가상승, 시공품질 저하, 시공성 저하 등의 문제가 유발되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 노출 콘크리트 마감공법의 체계적인 관리방안 제시를 위하여 국내의 불명확한 노출 콘크리트 마감공법의 정의를 문헌조사 및 사례조사를 통하여 명확하게 제시하고, 노출 콘크리트 마감공법의 색채균일성, 균열발생 억제, 콘크리트 충전성확보 등 노출콘크리트 마감공법의 요구사항과 결함유형을 분석하였다. 이를 바탕으로 노출 콘크리트 마감공법의 시공프로세스를 타 콘크리트 마감공법과 비교 분석하였으며, 노출 콘크리트 마감공법의 설계단계, 시공계획 및 관리단계, 유지 보수 단계별 관리방안을 제시하였다.

  • Now many IHTERMINGLER manufactures are under developing new types which can decrease the air consumption and at the same time can improve the efficiency of operating. The material and surface finish of yarn chamber is important factors to make INTERMINGLER. Normally ceramic material and tungsten carbide is used for yarn chamber but now chemical diffusion process for metal is widely used for material and it is very successful considering the hardness of surface.

콘크리트 동결융해 저항성 향상을 위한 실험적 평가 (An experimental evaluation for improving resistance against freezing-thawing of concrete)

  • Concrete parking slab is often deteriorated severely after winter season because of concrete's freezing and thawing phenomenon. In this study, some methods to improve resistance against freezing-thawing is experimentally tested.: 1) concrete strength, 2) air content in concrete, 3) saw-cut effect and finish material. After experiment, in case of no finishes, 24MPa concrete with 4% air content is tested best result in terms of relative elastics modulus among testes ones. In case of concrete with finishes, all specimens are improved regardless of finishes compared to concrete with no finishes. Improvement degree compared to no finish is as follows : Polyurea > Resin-mortar > hardener and the number of improvement degree is 5, 4, 2% respectively. Further work is required considering construction site condition such as gaining water on surface and remicon in order to reflect site condition.

  • Three-axis CNC surface machining entails a series of processes including rough cutting, intermediate cutting and finish cutting for a reference surface defined in CAD/CAM. This study is targeting development of an integrated NURBS surface interpolator that can incorporate rough, intermediate and finish cutting processes. In each process, volume to be removed and cutting condition are different according to the shape of a part to be machined and the reference surface. Accordingly, the proposed NURBS surface interpolator controls motion in real-time optimized for the machining conditions of each process. In this paper, a newly defined set of G-codes is proposed such that NURBS surface machining through CNC is feasible with minimal information on the surface composition. To verify the usefulness of the proposed interpolator, through computer simulations on NURBS surface machining, total machining time, size of required NC data and cutting force variations are compared with the existing method.

마감재를 통한 공간감성 표현에 관한 연구 - 감성어휘 평가와 요인분석을 통해 - (A Study on Expression of Space Emotion by Finishing Materials - According to Evaluation of Emotional Vocabulary and Factor Analysis -)

  • The purpose of this study is to use as the basic data for design method in commercial space. So, we analyzed whether any emotion was induced by finishing materials in the commercial space. And we was to suggest expression methods of finish materials to induce in the emotional space. The results of this study are as follows : First, we could know that the emotional design is needed to enhance satisfaction of consumers. The role of finishing material is very important in emotional expression in the commercial space. Second, we extracted the adjectives vocabulary(14 pairs) to evaluate the space emotion. we could educe the four kinds of space emotion by Factor Analysis. In addition, we could arrange the emotional words to represent each space type(Decoration : 5 pairs, Expand : 4 pairs, Limitation : 3 pairs, Hierarchy : 2 pairs). Third, to use finishing materials and wall is very effective to induce the emotion in the emotional space. To use the color is good among the elements of finishing materials. Fourth, We could find that the center of the types of emotional space was induced with the boundary and the decoration. If we use contrasting colors and accent colors in the commercial space, we can induce the center and the boundary together. And if we use colorful or unusual patterns, we can induce the center and the decoration together. Fifth, To induce the expand, we should finish with one color in space. And To induce the center, we should finish with one type of the color or pattern and then we should partially use the contrast color and special pattern. the case of boundary, it is good method to part emphasize by color, texture and materials. And we can induce the decoration with materials and patterns.

  • Distribution Automation System (DAS) has been designed and implemented for feeder automation using the Paircable, Optical-Fiber, Wireless, TRS as a communication media. KEPCO has been constructed DAS since 1984. We have two types of DAS. one is large-scale DAS for major city in korea, the other is small-scale DAS (or the rest of major city. we are plan to finish small-scale DAS by end of 2001.
