In order to apply the RNN model to the radio fingerprint-based indoor path generation technology, the data set must be continuous and sequential. However, Wi-Fi radio fingerprint data is not suitable as RNN data because continuity is not guaranteed as characteristic information about a specific location at the time of collection. Therefore, continuity information of sequential positions should be given. For this purpose, clustering is possible through classification of each region based on signal data. At this time, the continuity information between the clusters does not contain information on whether actual movement is possible due to the limitation of radio signals. Therefore, correlation information on whether movement between adjacent clusters is possible is required. In this paper, a deep learning network, a recurrent neural network (RNN) model, is used to predict the path of a moving object, and it reduces errors that may occur when predicting the path of an object by generating continuous location information for path generation in an indoor environment. We propose a method of giving correlation between clustering for generating an improved moving path that can avoid erroneous path prediction that cannot move on the predicted path.

The robustness of audio fingerprinting system in a noisy environment is a principal challenge in the area of content-based audio retrieval. The selected feature for the audio fingerprints must be robust in a noisy environment and the computational complexity of the searching algorithm must be low enough to be executed in real-time. The audio fingerprint proposed by Philips uses expanded hash table lookup to compensate errors introduced by noise. The expanded hash table lookup increases the searching complexity by a factor of 33 times the degree of expansion defined by the hamming distance. We propose a new method to improve noise robustness of audio fingerprinting in noise environment using predominant pitch which reduces the bit error of created hash values. The sub-fingerprint of our approach method is computed in each time frames of audio. The time frame is transformed into the frequency domain using FFT. The obtained audio spectrum is divided into 33 critical bands. Finally, the 32-bit hash value is computed by difference of each bands of energy. And only store bits near predominant pitch. Predominant pitches are extracted in each time frames of audio. The extraction process consists of harmonic enhancement, harmonic summation and selecting a band among critical bands.
A fingerprint is an impression of the friction ridges of all or any part of the finger. A friction ridge is a raised portion of the epidermis on the palmar (palm and fingers) or plantar (sole and toes) skin, consisting of one or more connected ridge units of friction ridge skin. There are two fundamental principles underlying the use of fingerprints as a means of identifying individuals - immutability and uniqueness. Friction ridges develop on the fetus in their definitive form before birth. Ridges are persistent throughout life except for permanent scarring. Ridge patterns and the details in small areas of friction ridges are unique and never repeated. Friction ridge patterns vary within limits, which allow for classification. We developed the high temperature-moisturizing method to obtained quality postmortem impressions from decomposing friction ridge skin. This technique is a simple procedure that uses boiling water to recondition the skin. This reconditioning process enhances detail present on the fingers and exposes ridge detail not visible to the naked eye. Therefore, we can recover the quality fingerprints, even from the worst decomposed bodies.
Reconstruction and separation of explosive-contaminated overlapping fingerprints constitutes an analytical challenge of high significance in forensic sciences. Laser-induced breakdown spectroscopy (LIBS) allows real-time chemical mapping by detecting the light emissions from laser-induced plasma and can offer powerful means of fingerprint classification based on the chemical components of the sample. During recent years LIBS has been studied one of the spectroscopic techniques with larger capability for forensic sciences. However, despite of the great sensitivity, LIBS suffers from a limited detection due to difficulties in reconstruction of overlapping fingerprints. Here, the authors propose a simple, yet effective, method of using chemical mapping to separate and reconstruct the explosive-contaminated, overlapping fingerprints. A Q-switched Nd:YAG laser system (1064 nm), which allows the laser beam diameter and the area of the ablated crater to be controlled, was used to analyze the chemical compositions of eight samples of explosive-contaminated fingerprints (featuring two sample explosive and four individuals) via the LIBS. Then, the chemical validations were further performed by applying the Raman spectroscopy. The results were subjected to principal component and partial least-squares multivariate analyses, and showed the classification of contaminated fingerprints at higher than 91% accuracy. Robustness and sensitivity tests indicate that the novel method used here is effective for separating and reconstructing the overlapping fingerprints with explosive trace.
