Gravure off-set printing recently is used in electronics display market. This method has advantages of mass production and high printing speed. It is also fine pattern can be implemented. We have manufactured low-curable conductive Ag pastes for gravure off-set printing. When printing, the pastes be used different silver powder shape because of the printing characteristics. The pastes were prepared with silver powder by silver powder shape and size, epoxy resin, solvent and homogenized on a standard three-roll mill. And the pastes exhibited a shear-thinning flow at viscosity profile. Moreover the adhesive strength and resistivity of silver film had a good characteristics. With the manufactured paste in this study, touch panel had is manufactured and it had $4{\times}10-5{\Omega}.cm$.
In order to fabricate the porous metal with controlled pore characteristics, unique processing by using metal oxide powder as the source and camphene as the sublimable material is introduced. CuO powder was selected as the source for the formation of Cu metal via hydrogen reduction. Camphene-based CuO slurry, prepared by milling at $47^{\circ}C$ with a small amount of dispersant, was frozen at $-25^{\circ}C$. Pores were generated subsequently by sublimation of the camphene. The green body was hydrogen-reduced at $200^{\circ}C$ for 30 min, and sintered at $500-700^{\circ}C$ for 1 h. Microstructural analysis revealed that the sintered Cu showed aligned large pore channels parallel to the camphene growth direction, and fine pores are formed around the large pore. Also, it showed that the pore size was controllable by the slurry concentration.
The conventional debinding process in metal injection molding is very long time-consuming and unfriendly environmental method. Especially, in such a case of injection molded parts from hard and fine metal powder, such as WC-Co, an extremely long period of time is necessary in the conventional slow binder removal process. On the other hand, supercritical debinding is thought to be the effective method which is appropriate to eliminate the aforementioned inconvenience in the prior art. The supercritical fluid has high diffusivity and density, it can penetrate quickly into the inside of the green metal bodies, and extract the binder. In this paper, super-critical debinding is compared with wicking debinding process. Wax-based binder system is used in this study. The binder removal rate in supercritical $CO_2$ have been measured at $65^{\circ}C$, 75$^{\circ}C$ in the pressure range from 20 MPa to 28 MPa. Pores and cracks in silver bodies after sintering were observed using SEM When the super-critical $CO_2$ debinding was carried out at 75$^{\circ}C$, almost all the wax (about 70 wt% of binder) was removed in 2 hours under 28 MPa and 2.5 hours under 25 MPa.

Polymethylmethacrylate powders are commonly used to improve the spreadability and blurring effects of powder foundation cosmetics. In this study, the opacity and haze effect of four types of polymethylmethacrylate powders and their 10wt% powder foundation formulation was evaluated. The distorted random hemispherical particulates with both concave and convex portions showed the highest haze and opacity value as a single powder substance. And as a formulated phase, the powder foundation formulation containing particulates with fine pores provided the highest haze and opacity value. We also examined the quantity of reflected light over the angular range $20-75^{\circ}$ by polarized light goniophotometry. The total reflected light intensity, surface-reflected light, and internally reflected light were characterized. These studies demonstrated that hemispherical PMMA powders produce natural brilliance by creating high internally reflected light which is similar to the total reflection profile of artificial skin.
With the recent movement toward sustainable development, many efforts have been made to reduce environmental loads in various domains of industry. In particular, a great deal of research and technology development has been underway on approaches to reducing industrial waste and the emission of greenhouse gases. For this reason, a quantitative analysis of the reduction in CO2 emission that could be achieved by replacing limestone material with cementitious waste powder was performed in this study. Through the analysis, it was found that CO2 emissions were reduced by up to 50 percent compared with the scenario in which OPC was used, which suggests that it is possible to reduce global CO2 emissions by approximately 5percent, or by 446.4 Tg of the 965 Tg of CO2 emissions generated by the cement industry, in the total global CO2 emissions of 19300Tg.
$BaCe_{0.9}Gd_{0.1_O_{2.95}$ powder was synthesized by oxalate coprecipitation method. Precipitate with a stoichimetric ratio of the cations was prepared by adding a mixture of Ba, Ce and Gd nitrate solution to an oxalic acid solution at pH 4. Reaction between the constituent oxides to form a perovskite phase was initiated at $800^{\circ}C$ and a single phase $BaCe_{0.9}Gd_{0.1_O_{2.95}$ powder having good sinterability was obtained after calcination at $1000^{\circ}C$. Sintering green compacts of this powder for 6 h showed a considerable densification to start at $1100^{\circ}C$ and resulted in 93% and 97% relative densities at $1300^{\circ}$ and at $1450^{\circ}C$, respectively. Whereas the power compacts prepared by solid state reaction had lower relative densities, 78% at $1300^{\circ}$and 90% at $1450^{\circ}C$. Fine particles of $CeO_2$ second phase were observed in the surface of the sintered compacts. This was attributed to the evaporation of BaO from the surface that had been exposed during thermal etching.
High speed steels with commercial compositions of 10V, Rex20, Rex25, T15, and ASP30 were gas-atomized and then consolidated by hot isostatic pressing (HIPping). The microstructures of gas-atomized powder, as-HiPped billet, and heat-treated billet have been characterized using optical microscope, scanning electron microscope and X-ray diffractometer. In the gas-atomized powders, the solidification structures of 10V and Rex25 alloys show that primary MC carbides embedded within the fine equiaxed dendrites, whereas those of Rex20, T15 and ASP30 alloys exhibited eutectic MC and/or M$_2$C carbides in the interdendritic region. The trace and dendritic morphologies of gas-atomized powder have been retained in as-HiPped billets. The microstructures of as-HiPped billets have been observed to consist of ferrite, $M_6C$ and MC carbides in other alloys with the exception of 10V alloy, which consists of ferrite and MC carbides. The hardness of heat-treated billet makes a favorable comparison with that of as-HIPped billet. This seems mainly to be due to the strengthening by the precipitation of secondary carbides and the change of matrix phase from $\alpha$-ferrite to martensite.
In this research, fine-structure TiO2 bulks were fabricated in a combined application of magnetic pulsed compaction (MPC) and subsequent sintering and their densification behavior was investigated. The obtained density of $TiO_2$ bulk prepared via the combined processes increased as the MPC pressure increased from 0.3 to 0.7 GPa. Relatively higher density (88%) in the MPCed specimen at 0.7 GPa was attributed to the decrease of the inter-particle distance of the pre-compacted component. High pressure and rapid compaction using magnetic pulsed compaction reduced the shrinkage rate (about 10% in this case) of the sintered bulks compared to general processing (about 20%). The mixing conditions of PVA, water, and $TiO_2$ nano powder for the compaction of $TiO_2$ nano powder did not affect the density and shrinkage of the sintered bulks due to the high pressure of the MPC.
The HDDR(hydrogenation-disproportionation-desorption-recombination) process can be used as an effective way of converting no coercivity Nd-Fe-B material, with a coarse $Nd_2Fe_{14}B$ grain structure to a highly coercive one with a fine grain. Careful control of the HDDR process can lead to an anisotropic $Nd_2Fe_{14}B$ without any post aligning process. In this study, the effect of hydrogen gas input at various temperature in range of $200{\sim}500^{\circ}C$ of hydrogenation stage (named Modified-solid HDDR, MS-HDDR) on the magnetic properties has been investigated. The powder from the modified-solid HDDR process exhibits Br of 11.7 kG and iHc of 10.7 kOe, which are superior to those of the powder prepared using the normal HDDR process.
In the present work, we synthesize nano-sized ZnO, $SnO_2$, and $TiO_2$ powders by hydrothermal reaction using metal chlorides. We also examine the energy-storage characteristics of the resulting materials to evaluate the potential application of these powders to dye-sensitized solar cells. The control of processing parameters such as pressure, temperature, and the concentration of aqueous solution results in the formation of a variety of powder morphologies with different sizes. Nano-rod, nano-flower, and spherical powders are easily formed with the present method. Heat treatment after the hydrothermal reaction usually increases the size of the powder. At temperatures above $1000^{\circ}C$, a complete collapse of the shape occurs. With regard to the capacity of DSSC materials, the hydrothermally synthesized $TiO_2$ results in the highest current density of $9.1mA/cm^2$ among the examined oxides. This is attributed to the fine particle size and morphology with large specific surface area.
