IT서비스 유형별 경쟁력요인이 IT서비스 기업의 비즈니스 성과에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 : 재무적 및 비재무적 성과 관점으로 (A Study on the Effects of the Competitive Factors for each IT Service Type on the Business Performance of IT Service Companies-with a Focus on Financial and Non-financial Performance)

  • The IT services industry is considered as the leading industry of the ubiquitous age that raises a nation's overall productivity and efficiency. Therefore, it is receiving increasing attention as the industry that can bring about economic takeoff and successful overseas market entrance for the next generation. In order to achieve successful development, the industry should be competitive and armed with strategies that well demonstrate the characteristics of IT services. Therefore, it is important to explore the competitive factors of the industry for its qualitative development from the perspectives of IT services industry policies and as well as IT services companies. This study categorized IT services into three types-system integration, IT consulting, and IT outsourcing- and then examined the competitive factors of each service type and their relationships with financial and non-financial performances. In conclusion, the current competitiveness of domestic IT services industry is attributed to institutions environment rather than its competitive advantages in technology, quality, know-how, and highly qualified human resources. In order to facilitate the sound growth of the IT industry and seek reasonable market competition, the environment that puts its priority on the improvement of institutions environment and the ability to carry out a project needs to be established. In all, this study can be utilized as an important knowledge for the establishment of polices to foster IT services industry and of strategies that raise competitiveness to maximize the performances of companies.

GVC 참여가 제조업과 서비스업 수출경쟁력에 미치는 영향 비교분석 (A Comparative Analysis on the Effect of GVC Participation on the Export Competitiveness of Manufacturing and Service Industry)

  • This study compares and analyzes the effects of GVC participation on export competitiveness in manufacturing and service industry in 36 OECD countries and 28 non-OECD countries. According to the statistical analysis result, the GVC participation had a negative impact on export competitiveness in manufacturing industry, while it had a positive impact in the service industry. In the case of the manufacturing industry, participation toward the backward GVC had a positive impact on export competitiveness before the financial crisis, besides, participation toward the forward GVC had a positive impact on export competitiveness. In the case of the service industry, export competitiveness through forward GVC participation has increased since the financial crisis has occurred, and backward GVC participation was estimated to have a negative impact on export competitiveness. The results of this study implies that, to secure export competitiveness, a converged approach of the manufacturing and service industries to upgrade the global value chain is needed.

  • 오늘날 금융자본의 세계화가 진전됨에 따라 금융위기의 발생가능성과 세계경제의 불확실성이 한층 더 높아지고 있다. 한국에서 IMF 금융위기는 사회 전반의 구조조정을 추동시키면서 양적, 질적 경제적 변화를 일으키고 있어 본 연구는 광주지역의 경제적 공간의 변화를 살펴보았다. 광주지역경제에 영향을 크게 미치는 산업은 서비스업과 수송장비제조업 등을 들 수 있는데 이들 산업은 IMF금융위기의 경제적 침체의 영향을 민감하게 받았고, 대신 고무 .플라스틱.기계장비.전기전각 부문의 제조업은 상대적으로 영향을 적게 받았다. 공간적으로는 서비스업의 감소로 도심지역의 상업이 쇠락하고, 첨단산업육성을 통한 위기 극복의 노력으로 인해 광산업 집적공간의 형성과 벤처기업이 입지한 창업보육센터나 벤처빌딩과 같은 미시산업공간이 나타나고 있다. 그러나 첨단산업의 지방뿌리내림은 첨단산업의 수도권 집중의 구조적, 지리적 한계를 지니고 있으며, 따라서 지역혁신체제의 구축에 대한 연구가 필요하리라 생각된다.

온라인 금융 상담 서비스에서 이모티콘 사용이 서비스 사용의도에 미치는 영향: 상담원 유형과 주관적 금융지식의 조절 효과 (Effects of Emoticons on Intention to Use in Online Financial Counseling Service: Moderating Roles of Agent Type and Subjective Financial Knowledge)

  • Online financial counseling services are increasingly expanding with the rise of artificial intelligence-based chatbots. It is very important to examine the effects of emoticons noted as alternatives for communicating emotions in online communication between consumers and companies. In this paper, we examine how the use of emoticons affects the consumer's response and investigate the moderating roles of type of counseling agents (human vs. chatbot) and the consumer's subjective financial knowledge. The results show that the use of emoticon in the conversation brings a positive effect on the consumer's intention to use of online chat counseling service. When participants had relatively low subjective financial knowledge, they had higher intention to use online chat counseling services with emoticons only when the agent type was chatbot. When the type of counseling agent was human, this positive effect of the emoticon did not occur. On the other hand, when participants had relatively high subjective financial knowledge, they had higher intention to use online chat counseling service with emoticons only when the agent type was human. This study contributes to providing practical implications to build online chat counseling service using chatbot in the financial industry by studying users' intention depending on the type of agents and the level of their subjective knowledge.

인터넷뱅킹의 현황과 금융환경 변화 (The Impact of Internet Banking on the Financial Market)

  • In this paper we present the development of internet banking and its impact on financial market. The internet banking has been introduced since 1990s, from which customers could obtain most financial services over internet, and will replace with the traditional banks. According to a survey, most of bankers agree that internet will play an important role in banking industry. The internet banking has an enormous impact on the transfer system and banking industry. The transfer system is divided into two-large-value transfer system and small-value transfer system, depending on the size of its transfer amount. The internet banking will enhance the transfer system, especially small-value transfer system. It will reduce the time lag between transaction of service and its payment. However, a congestion or a blockage in a part of network might stop the financial service all over the network, which is called "computer risk". As internet banking develops, banks have incentives to reduce their branches and have to compete with information-business companies which can offer financial EDI.

  • Measuring and evaluating the business performance plays a very important role in managing business. It is because business performance, in any types of industry, can be evaluated and managed properly only when the measurement of its performance is estimated, and because its performance can be improved through an efficient and effective management. Therefore it is essential to build up the performance evaluation system to raise management efficiency of the foodservice industry, to reinforce competitive power of the food service industry. This study tried to propose a novel point of prospective and method in which the performance evaluation in any family restaurant should be illuminated and be performed. In this study, BSC provided the main conceptional framework for evaluating the performance of a family restaurant, and evaluation items of BSC four prospectives - financial, customers, internal business process, and learning and growth-were adjusted so as to be fitted into the business field. Furthermore, this study verified the validity of the proposed performance evaluation method through specific case analyses and used AHP to quantify its validity objectively. Finally, this study found the fact that non-financial prospectives, compared to financial prospectives, should be more importantly considered as the performance evaluation index of the family restaurants. Especially, the study showed that the proportion of performance evaluation indexes related to Customers prospective and Learning and Growth prospective revealed very highly, therefore variables such as customer satisfaction index, per employee productivity, education and training, customer response rate, employee satisfaction index should be emphasized as key factors at the process of selecting indexes and measuring their performance evaluation of the food service industry.

  • Recently, there has been growing interest in the financial and economic effectiveness of service quality and customer satisfaction. It means that the final goal of customer satisfaction is the maximization with firms' financial performance, enterprise could survive through the creation of continuous financial performance. Companies are working in various ways to identify the direct relationship of service quality and customer satisfaction with financial and economic effectiveness in order to justify and validate customer satisfaction management. In this study, the influence of customer satisfaction on the financial performance is examined. Also, we have analyzed customer satisfaction by comparing financial outcome of each industry Customer satisfaction index, the key non-financial performance measure has significant association with firms' financial performance index. Moreover, high customer satisfaction has a competitive advantage, so it can be the key success factor of firm's financial performance improvement.

  • With the growing importance of the financial industry, financial service companies need to better understand the behavior of consumers and develop effective marketing strategies accordingly. This study examines the key determinants in the satisfaction of financial services customers. According to the study, "satisfaction with branches," "product profitability," "corporate stability," "convenience" and "relational benefits" have an impact on the satisfaction levels. In particular, "branch satisfaction" was a vital factor for bank-centered customers, while "product diversity" was a key for securities-centered customers. This study will hopefully benefit not only financial companies, but also regulators and authorities in the finance industry.

정보보호 관리체계를 위한 주요 통제영역 연구: 금융 관련 조직을 중심으로 (A study on primary control area for information security management system (ISMS): focusing on the finance-related organizations)

  • 금융서비스산업 전반에 고객의 금융정보 및 금융서비스를 적절하게 보호하고 유지하기 위해, 조직은 정보보호 관리체계(ISMS), 개인정보보호 관리체계, 비즈니스연속성 관리체계와 같은 경영시스템을 도입하여 운영하기 시작하였다. 본 연구는 금융권이 ISMS를 고려하는 것이 바람직하며 정보보안 문화, 실무 및 가이드라인을 고려하는 다양한 조직 안에 각기 다른 형태를 가질 수 있다는데서 출발하였다. 금융서비스산업 내에서도 분야에 상관없이 적용 가능하고 보편적으로 널리 알려진 국제 정보보호 관리체계 ISO27001을 도입한 금융 관련 조직을 대상으로 인증 심사에 따른 부적합 추이 및 통제 요인의 분석을 통해 해당 ISMS의 주요 통제 영역을 도출하게 된다. 이에 따라 ISMS를 도입하여 운용하고 있는 금융 관련 5개 조직의 사례분석을 통해 정보보호 수준의 개선 효과를 분석해 보고자 했다. 금융 섹터에서 인증을 유지하고 있는 곳이 적어 실증 연구를 위한 자료 확보가 어려웠지만, 초기 연구 대상으로서의 의미가 있는 것으로 분석되었다. 분석을 통해, 대상 업체들에서 최초심사로부터 3년 주기가 지나는 동안 부적합 건수가 매년 감소하고 있음을 확인할 수 있었다. 부적합 빈도수가 가장 높았던 물리적 환경적 보안, 의사소통 및 운영관리, 접근통제 영역이 각 23%, 19%, 17%를 나타내 전체 부적합의 59% 정도를 차지하는 주요 통제영역으로 도출되었다. 이를 통해 금융권에서 중요하게 다루어지지 않았던 기술적, 관리적, 물리적 보안 이슈를 ISMS가 충족시키고, ISMS가 금융서비스산업에 적용 가능한 효과적인 관리체계가 될 수 있음을 발견하였다.

호텔 기업의 경영전략, 성과평가와 경영성과 간의 인과관계 - 특 1, 2급 호텔 조리종사자를 대상으로 - (The Causal Relationships among Management Strategies, Performance Assessment and Management Performance in the Hotel Industry)

  • The purpose of this research is to analyse the cause and effect relations among management strategies, performance assessment and management performance in the hotel industry. The research result is as follows. A management strategy of the hotel industry has influence directly on a performance assessment through the non-financial factor, the financial factor and the study evaluation factor. And a financial performance assessment and a non-financial performance assessment have influence directly on the management performance. Total effects on a management performance of the hotel industry were 0.769 in a management strategies and 1.755 in a performance assessment. In comparison in the direct effects, the management strategies do not influence the management performance directly, and management performance is revealed through a performance assessment.
