Financial products entail either gains or losses, and customers' psychological reaction to these gains and losses affect the selection of the financial products. This study explains the financial customers' behavior by introducing consumers' psychological variables such as regulatory focus and construal levels. According to the regulatory focus theory, there are two distinct motivational orientations called promotion focus and prevention focus. And, construal level theory proposes that people use more abstract and higher levels of construal to represent objects that are more distant on psychological distance. We have incorporated these two psychological variables into financial consumer behaviors. In the experiment 1, the results have showed that promotion focused customers prefer fund products to deposit products, whereas prevention focused customers have showed the opposite result. In the experiment 2, both regulatory focus and construal level were considered. Specifically, under the high level message, promotion focused customers have showed higher preference to fund products than the prevention focused customers, and no significant difference for the deposit products. On the contrary, given the low level message, prevention focused customers have showed higher preference to both fund and deposit products than the promotion focused customers. Therefore, it comes to the conclusion that it will be efficient for the financial companies to use high level messages for the promotion focused customers and low level messages for the prevention focused customers. Implications and limitations are discussed to establish more effective marketing strategies based on the results of this study.
The purpose of this study was to investigate conceptual constructions which determined financial preparedness for retirement. This study was guided by two theoretical frameworks, planned behavior theory and hierarchical personality model. Based on two theories, the conceptual framework which aimed to explain financial preparedness for retirement were formulated. Data from 'The health and welfare profile of the elderly aged 65 and or older in Chung-choo city' was analyzed. The subjects consisted of 87 economically active elderly population. Structure equation model was employed for statistical analyses. The results of structure equation model revealed that the casual relationship between the level of perceived financial-planning knowledge and the level of financial preparedness for retirement was statistically significant. Also, the hypothesized structural model for financial preparedness for retirement had the good model fit. Implications for social work practice from this study were discussed.

Big data is widely used in customer relationship management, relationship marketing, financial business improvement, credit information and risk management. Moreover, as non-face-to-face financial transactions have become more active recently due to the COVID-19 virus, the use of financial big data is more demanded in terms of relationships with customers. In terms of customer relationship, financial big data has arrived at a time that requires an emotional rather than a technical approach. In relational marketing, it was necessary to emphasize the emotional aspect rather than the cognitive, rational, and rational aspects. Existing traditional financial data was collected and utilized through text-type customer transaction data, corporate financial information, and questionnaires. In this study, the customer's emotional image data, that is, atypical data based on the customer's cultural and leisure activities, is acquired through SNS and the customer's activity image is analyzed with an artificial intelligence CNN algorithm. Activity analysis is again applied to the annotated AI, and the AI big data model is designed to analyze the behavior model shown in the annotation.
Purpose: The paper analyzes empirically the causal relationship between customer-oriented Quality circle activities and Business Performance for Korean service firms. We compare the operational characteristic behavior of the service firms and business performance. Methods: In this study, we used 3 variables, QC activities, Employee commitment and business performance. Especially, Service SME's QC Circle activities were analyzed in related with growth of company on the basis activities such as Leadership(team), improvement activity, Organizational learning, customer-focus activity and employee suggestion. Results: The result of analysis showed that employee commitment affected significantly on financial performance and non-financial performance and in turn, improvement activities, Organizational learning and customer-focus activity affected significantly on business performance (financial and non-financial). Conclusion: In the summary of the characteristics of this study based on the research results, first, segmenting the QCC activities in the service business into 5 elements can be considered to be differentiated from the existing researches in the aspect of utilizing the organization's objective-oriented variables differently from the researches utilized the variables related personal characteristics. Second, this study suggested the recent research results that suggested the problems of the QCC clearly, through which what new QC story approach was suggested has working level value in the aspect of activating the service QCC.

This study seeks to determine the effect of the application of accounting information system (AIS), internal control system, and human resource (HR) competency on the quality of local government financial statements (FS). This study uses agency theory and compliance theory. Agency theory is used to explain that there is a link between the society as the principal and the government as the agent. Compliance theory is a theory, which states that every agency is obliged to comply with regulations because the law-drafting authority has the right to dictate behavior. The population in this study were employees of the financial division of local government organizations in one of the districts in Central Java, Indonesia. The total samples in this study was 106 respondents. The data used are primary data taken from distributing questionnaires to respondents. The method of analysis used to test the hypothesis was multiple linear regression analysis. The results of hypothesis testing indicate that HR competency has an effect on the quality of FS; however, the application of AIS and internal control system has no effect on the quality of FS. The implication of this research underlines the importance of HR competency to improve the quality of local government FS.
In the restructured electricity market, Performance-Based Regulation (PBR) regime has been introduced to the distribution network. To ensure the network stability, this regime is used along with quality regulations. Quality regulation impose new financial risks on distribution system operators (DSOs). The poor quality of the network will result in reduced revenues for DSOs. The mentioned financial risks depend on the quality indices of the system. Based on annual variation of these indices, the cost of quality regulation will also vary. In this paper with regard to reclosing fault in distribution network, we develop a risk-based method to assess the financial risks caused by quality regulation for DSOs. Furthermore, in order to take the stochastic behavior of the distribution network and quality indices variations into account, time-sequential Monte Carlo simulation method is used. Using the proposed risk method, the effect of taking reclosing time into account will be examined on system quality indicators and the cost of quality regulation in Swedish rural reliability test system (SRRTS). The results show that taking reclosing fault into consideration, affects the system quality indicators, particularly annual average interruption frequency index of the system (SAIFI). Moreover taking reclosing fault into consideration also affects the quality regulations cost. Therefore, considering reclosing time provides a more realistic viewpoint about the financial risks arising from quality regulation for DSOs.
The present study conducted in two parts toward employees in government office and state-owned companies, and financial companies. First, main impacts were demonstrated in the links between superior communication ability (SCA) and outcome variables (self-efficacy, and learning goal orientation). Second, mediating effects of self-efficacy and LGO were investigated in the relation SCA-Innovative behavior. The data which applied in analysis was collected from 318 employees who work at government office and state-owned companies, and financial companies in Jeju island. The results were as follows. First, SCA were positively associated with self-efficacy and LGO. Second, self-efficacy and LGO were fully mediated both relationships between SCA and innovative behavior. Findings were as follows. SCA is an important factor on self-efficacy and LGO. Such the results have meaningful implications in the research area of communication. The importance of self-efficacy and LGO were demonstrated when considering the both variable in the relations SCA-innovative behavior.

The purpose of this study was to examine the association between time-income availability and health-promoting behavior (physical practice, smoking, alcohol consumption) of older males (55-69). This study attempted to shed light on health-behavior changes during the transition period of male retirement. The availability of time resources was examined by addressing the amount of weekly paid labor hours. The availability of financial resources was calculated by using the debt-income ratio. The study sample comprised 1,372 (age range 55-69) male respondents of the 2006 Korean Longitudinal Study of Aging (2006 KLOSA wave 1). The results of CHAID (CHi-squared Automatic Interaction Detection) analysis uncovered four distinctive combinations of resource types: time-money poor, time rich, money rich, time-money rich. According to logit results, these four groups had different socio-demographic profiles and different health-behavior risks. The time-money poor males were unlikely to perform physical activities needed to improve their health or to quit smoking or alcohol consumption. This group was also more likely to consume alcohol compared to the time-money resource types. In contrast, the time-money rich group was more likely to exercise longer and more frequently than the reference group (time and money poor). The time-rich types, those who have time-only resources and less money, were likely to be smokers and have problems with alcohol consumption.
Although accounting is one of the core fields of corporate management, few studies have reported accounting phenomena involving shipping companies. In addition, although financial reporting is very important to shipping companies that use several financial tools such as ship finance and financial lease, it is difficult to identify studies investigating shipping companies' financial reporting, especially their earnings management. The purpose of this study is to analyze accrual earnings management behavior of shipping companies. Companies with high debt ratios and net losses are known to have incentives for earnings management. Due to the nature of the industry, shipping companies have a high debt ratio and often report net losses. Accordingly, shipping companies are expected to engage in substantial earnings management. Based on the analysis of KOSP I companies listed on the Korea Exchange from 2001 to 2020, it was found that shipping companies are engaged in higher levels of earnings management than non-shipping companies. Discretionary accrual was used as a proxy variable for earnings management. Discretionary accrual was measured using the modified Jones model of Dechow et al. (1995) and the performance matched model of Kothari et al.(2005). In this study, significant results were derived by comparatively analyzing the earnings management practices, which is one of the major accounting behaviors of shipping and non-shipping companies. Stakeholders such as external auditors, investors, financial institutions, analysts, and government authorities need to be aware of the earnings management behavior of listed shipping companies during their external audit, financial analysis, and supervision. Finally, listed shipping companies must conduct stricter accounting based on accounting principles.
As data becomes a new core resource with high attention, MyData service is spreading to various fields such as finance, medical care, and the public sector. However, research on the behavior of MyData service users is insufficient. Therefore, this study aims to empirically examine the effect of MyData service traits on value perception and acceptable behavior particularly in the financial sector where MyData service is most active. To this end, this study proposed a research model based on the literature. 295 survey responses were collected from individuals and analyzed using AMOS 26.0 for hypothesis testing. As a result of the analysis, it was found that self-information control, financial convenience, and personalized service had a significant effect on perceived value, and that perceived value had a significant effect on the intention to accept MyData service. Furthermore, this study examined the role of personal innovation and technological security in the relationship between variables by suggesting them as moderators. Results show that individual innovation was found to strengthen the relationship between two variables(self-information control and personalized service) and perceived value. Also, technological security was shown to strengthen the relationship between perceived value and intention to accept financial MyData services. The findings are expected to provide useful information to understand the factors affecting the acceptance of financial MyData service users and to understand the importance of individual innovation levels and technological security.
