This research was to understand the current situation and trends of urban design using rapidly growing solar cells at home and abroad, and to understand the positive aspects and implications of urban design proposals using CIGS thin film solar cells, a research project to be conducted based on case analysis. The research method was conducted through a literature study and the case was investigated and analyzed after identifying the present situation and trends of urban design using solar cells from home and abroad. As a result, it was confirmed that urban design using solar cells was steadily increasing, and through visual changes such as harmony with the surrounding environment, indoor and outdoor visualization, and the use of color, urban aesthetic beauty creation was positive. Based on these implications, we will present the expected effects of CIGS thin film solar cells being utilized in urban design, and confirm the direction and significance of the urban design proposal using CIGS thin film solar cells in the future.

The purpose of this study is to establish the basic materials necessary for red carpet fashion design by examining the formativeness and fashion images of red carpet dresses at film festivals in the Great China Region. For the purpose of this study, research methods include a literature review on the origin and significance of red carpet dresses, the characteristics of film festivals in the Great China Region and their red carpet dresses as well as an analysis of the formative features and images of 615 red carpet dresses collected from each film festival official homepage, diverse media articles, and online search sites (www.google.com, www.hao123.com). The research finding can be summarized as follows: First, the formative features of red carpet dress designs were analyzed herein. It was found that the most frequently appearing type of silhouette was straight followed by hourglass and bulk in order. More specifically these included fit and flare, mermaid, trapeze, and slim in order. For the neckline styles, strapless was the most frequently seen followed by camisole, jewel, and one shoulder. Solid colors were more often seen than multiple colors. Bk, W, R, and YR were the most frequent main solid colors in order. Solid materials were frequent as well, such as soft and shiny materials. Non-patterned and unadorned styles were most frequent as for pattern types and details and trimmings. Second, the fashion images of red carpet dresses in the Great China Region were analyzed. The most frequent images were elegant, feminine, ethnic, modern, classic, avant-garde, others, mannish and sportive, in order.

Primary choriocarcinoma of the lung is extremely rare and have been reported ten and several cases only in the literature. It is very difficult to confirm the "Pure primary pulmonary choriocarcinoma" clinically, so most cases that have been reported in the literature confirmed by autopsy and the prognosis is relatively poor compared with metastases. We experience one case of the primary pulmonary choriocarcinoma. She was 53 year old multiparous woman[4 \ulcorner0 \ulcorner2 \ulcorner0] who complain right chest pain for 4 years. On plain film and computerized tomogram of the thorax at admission, 2.5cmx3.5cmx5 cm sized, well demarcated ovoid mass was founded on the right middle lobe just below the parietal pleura and growing rapidly on plain film to 5cm x 6.5cm x 7cm after 15 days. We confirm the choriocarcinoma in the lung by percutaneous needle aspiration biopsy and strongly suspect primary after various examination for rule out metastases from the ovary or uterus. We perform middle lobe lobectomy because that can not confirm the primary or the metastases because there are not complete histological examination by bilateral ovariectomy and hysterectomy, and under the belief that extragestational or extragonadal primary choriocarcinoma is more resistant to the chemotherapy, and could be reduce the duration of hospitalization and the amount of chemotherapy used to achieve remission On 14th postoperative day, serum p-HCG level was returned to normal limit, and perform chemotherapy two times on 3rd and 5th week for prevention surgical traumatic hematogenous metastases or undetected microfocus, but the patient expire on 68th postoperative day due to intracerebral hemorrhage in the intracranial choriocarcinoma which strongly suspected surgical traumatic hematogenous metastases.etastases.

The aims of this research were to characterize magic realism by analyzing existing magical reality literature reviews and research and to identify material that may inspire ideas for stage and film costume design by analyzing and drawing design characteristics and magic realism of costumes from Director Tarsem Singh's movie, 'Mirror, Mirror'. For the methodology, characteristics of magic realism in literature and, movies were analyzed, with a theoretical consideration of these materials on magical realism. Data on costume design and magical realism characteristics for use in the analysis were collected from the main characters of 'Mirror, Mirror' as well as from other characters. The result of this analysis was the emergence of five common characteristics of the magic realism Historicity, the most remarkable characteristic seen in Tarsem Singh films, was expressed through the symbolic meaning and decorative patterns shown by the traditional-style costumes, colors. Symbolization was expressed through the symbolic meaning, decorative elements, and traditional clothes, as shown by the colors and forms of the costumes. Fantasy was expressed through the colors, decorative elements, forms of traditional clothing, and forms with symbolic meaning. Reproducibility was expressed through the method of decorative element, symbolic meaning, traditional forms and de-structural clothes. Ambiguity, which can be associated with the combined characteristics of historicity and fantasy, was expressed in the clothes worn in the scenes that confounded time and space within the film.

This article aims to explain some academic subjects based on the film, and accordingly investigate how they are to be converged and then educate individuals. The reasons why should be chosen as a text are as follows: this film is said to be fictional, but based on historical fact. Then, it attracts national attention. Third, it induces the spectators to judge the value of conscience, law, and morals, through the trial process, for themselves and leads them to raise the awareness of the historical, and political conditions at the time. Last, but not least, it contributes to the discourse on various type of men in contemporary days, by dint of analysis on the main characters. The results of the research are listed below: most of all, literature education(Korean language) could be proceeded with the help of epic analysis on . Secondly, considering the film develops the story using political allegory as discussion, along with the historic situation in those days, learning on history and politics could be made possible. Third, the film could be undoubtedly used to conduct the education of law and morality, forming the argument on required law and morals corresponding with ideological circumstance. Finally, education on film analysis could be conducted, by means of examination of the main characters. The analysis on the major characters helps to teach what it would be like for people to become the right ones, by both representing the members of society and determining the quality of life and relationship.

In recent years, a film restoration has gained increasing attention by many researchers, to support multimedia service of high quality. In general, an old film is degraded by dust, scratch, flick, and so on. Among these, the common factors are scratch and blotch, so that many researchers have been investigated to restore these degradations. However, the methods in literature have one major limitation: A method is working well in dealing with scratches, however it is poorly working in processing the blotches. The goal of this work is to develop a robust technique to restore images degraded by both scratches and blotches. For this, we use MRF-MAP (Markov random field - maximum a posteriori) framework, so that the restoration problem is considered as the minimization problem of the posteriori energy function. As the minimization is one of complex combinatorial problem, we use distributed genetic algorithms (DGAs) that effectively deal with combinatorial problems. To asses the validity of the proposed method, it was tested on natural old films and artificially degraded films, and the results were compared with other methods. Then, the results show that the proposed method is superior to other methods.

Gas foil thrust bearings (GFTBs) support axial loads in oil-free, high speed rotating machinery using air or gas as a lubricant. Due to the inherent low viscosity of the lubricant, GFTBs often have super-laminar flows in the film region at operating conditions with high Reynolds numbers. This paper develops a mathematical model of a GFTB with turbulent flows and validates the model predictions against those from the literature. The pressure distribution, film thickness distribution, load carrying capacity, and power loss are predicted for both laminar and turbulent flow models and compared with each other. Predictions for an air lubricant show that the GFTB has high Reynolds numbers at the leading edge where the film thickness is large and relatively low Reynolds numbers at the trailing edge. The predicted load capacity and power loss for the turbulent flow model show little difference from those for the laminar flow model even at the highest speed of 100 krpm, because the Reynolds numbers are smaller than the critical Reynolds number. On the other hand, refrigerant (R-134a) lubricant, which has a higher density than air, had significant differences due to high Reynolds numbers in the film region, in particular, near the leading and outer edges. The predicted load capacity and power loss for the turbulent flow model are 2.1 and 2.3 times larger, respectively, than those for the laminar flow model, thus implying that the turbulent flow greatly affects the performance of the GFTB.

The purpose of this paper is to elucidate the characteristics that make Guillermo del Toro's film Pan's Labyrinth (2006) a fantasy film, and the meaning and function of the labyrinth motifs closely related to it. Tzvetan Todorov defined the 'fantastic' as the hesitation between natural and supernatural interpretations in the face of supernatural events that invade reality. In Pan's Labyrinth, the fantastic continues to be seen, because the film does not allow the hesitation to disappear; thus, the fantastic does not enter the 'uncanny' genre or 'marvelous' genre, and because it keeps its fantastic state. In this case, the labyrinth symbolizes art as a passage into the fantastic world and a space that represents it. Rosemary Jackson saw the fantasy as a "literature of desire to compensate for a lack resulting from cultural constraints" and thus repeatedly dealing with unconscious materials. Del Toro's film shows the character of the fantastic as an expression of desire by allowing 'family romance' to take place in the fantastic world. In this case, the labyrinth symbolizes the mind as a place of desire. Kathryn Hume defined fantasy as a reaction to reality, like mimesis, and 'departure from consensus reality.' The film, operating in a 'vision' genre, satisfies its definition by allowing the fantastic world to illuminate the reality world through 'contrastive' technique, and brings out the fantastic it has. In this case, the labyrinth symbolizes the world as a mirror of the world of reality. Thus, Pan's Labyrinth is representative of fantastic film in that the fantastic functions very effectively, and the labyrinth appearing in this film can be evaluated as a motif that is full of meaning by symbolizing all three elements of art, world and mind. The significance of this paper is to shed light on how a motif works in a particular genre through the above considerations.

Professionals performing radiographic examinations are responsible for maintaining optimal image quality for accurate diagnoses. These professionals must competently execute techniques such as film manipulation and processing to minimize patient exposure to radiation. Improper performance by the professional and/or patient may result in a radiographic image of unsatisfactory quality that can also lead to a misdiagnosis and the development of an inadequate treatment plan. Currently, the most commonly performed extraoral examination is panoramic radiography. The invention of panoramic radiography has resulted in improvements in image quality with decreased exposure to radiation and at a low cost. However, this technique requires careful, accurate positioning of the patient's teeth and surrounding maxillofacial bone structure within the focal trough. Therefore, we reviewed the literature for the most common types of positioning errors in panoramic radiography to suggest the correct techniques. We would also discuss how to determine if the most common positioning errors occurred in panoramic radiography, such as in the positioning of the patient's head, tongue, chin, or body.

Purpose: This study started with an interest in sports culture-related content and aims to comprehend the application of traditional and contemporary cultural content to sport business. Research design, data, and methodology: The current study reviews related-documents, research papers, media reports, and a secondary data. The collected data were multiple reviewed via content analysis. Results: Findings are as follow. First, the study found that sports is born in religious rituals which are associated with human needs for survival and prosperity. Second, sports is sort of official format that inherent desire of human could be satisfied, representing play and game. Third, the current study discovered that sports could be cultural products such as literature and film. This is because sport has often been used as major themes in contemporary art production. Finally, this study included important cultural content categories, but could not cover all categories due to the limitations of the study. Conclusions: this study reviewed multiple literature to decode historical and anthropological meanings of sport. The finding presents the cultural traits and meaning of contemporary sport. Further implications were discussed.
