치기공과 학생이 지각하는 치과기공사의 직업 이미지 조사 - 대구지역을 중심으로 - (Research on the Job Image of the Students of the Department of Dental Technology for their Job as Dental Technician (Focused on Daegu))

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study is to supply basic data to establish new image for dental technicians by reflecting onto the education of dental technicians by grasping the image of dental technicians with the subjects of students in department of dental technology. Methods: It was studied with self-filling-in method through structured questionnaire from September 26, to October 21, 2011, with 421 subjects of the students in the department of dental technology in two colleges in Daegu. SPSS 18.0 for Windows was used to analyze the data, and frequency and percentage were used for statistic analysis, and correlation analysis and Multiple Linear Regression Analysis were used with mean and SD per each question. Results: It showed the highest recognition that the dental technicians is a 'specialist' as 4.66; the dental technicians has strong responsibility in his work as 4.42; the dental technicians takes an important role in improvement of public oral health as 4.39; and the dental technicians has professional intelligence and high technique as 4.33. So, it was found that they had image of professional and important role for oral health, and had their pride and selfconfidence as future dental technicians. Meanwhile, it showed that they had negative related-image as well as a job, that the dental technicians is too busy as 4.48; it requires improvement on image in the future as 4.27; it is a hard job with too much stress as 4.13. Conclusion: It is required for us and school to have continuous change and effort to make the students in the department of dental technology have positive mind for the dental technology to make them have pride for their job.

Chromium acetate stimulates adipogenesis through regulation of gene expression and phosphorylation of adenosine monophosphate-activated protein kinase in bovine intramuscular or subcutaneous adipocytes

  • Objective: We hypothesized that Cr source can alter adipogenic-related transcriptional regulations and cell signaling. Therefore, the objective of the study was to evaluate the biological effects of chromium acetate (CrAc) on bovine intramuscular (IM) and subcutaneous (SC) adipose cells. Methods: Bovine preadipocytes isolated from two different adipose tissue depots; IM and SC were used to evaluate the effect of CrAc treatment during differentiation on adipogenic gene expression. Adipocytes were incubated with various doses of CrAc: 0 (differentiation media only, control), 0.1, 1, and 10 μM. Cells were harvested and then analyzed by real-time quantitative polymerase chain reaction in order to measure the quantity of adenosine monophosphate-activated protein kinase-α (AMPK-α), CCAAT enhancer binding protein-β (C/EBPβ), G protein-coupled receptor 41 (GPR41), GPR43, peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor-γ (PPARγ), and stearoyl CoA desaturase (SCD) mRNA relative to ribosomal protein subunit 9 (RPS9). The ratio of phosphorylated-AMPK (pAMPK) to AMPK was determined using a western blot technique in order to determine changing concentration. Results: The high dose (10 μM) of CrAc increased C/EBPβ, in both IM (p = 0.02) and SC (p = 0.02). Expression of PPARγ was upregulated by 10 μM of CrAc in IM but not in SC. Expression of SCD was also increased in both IM and SC with 10 μM of CrAc treatment. Addition of CrAc did not alter gene expression of glucose transporter 4, GPR41, or GPR43 in both IM and SC adipocytes. Addition of CrAc, resulted in a decreased pAMPKα to AMPKα ration (p<0.01) in IM. Conclusion: These data may indicate that Cr source may influence lipid filling in IM adipocytes via inhibitory action of AMPK phosphorylation and upregulating expression of adipogenic genes.

키넥트 카메라를 이용한 실시간 가상 시점 영상 생성 기법 (Real-Time Virtual-View Image Synthesis Algorithm Using Kinect Camera)

  • 키넥트 카메라는 마이크로소프트사에서 2010년 11월에 출시한 xbox360의 움직임 감지 카메라로 깊이 영상과 색상 영상을 획득할 수 있다. 하지만 적외선 패턴을 이용한 깊이 영상의 획득 방법의 한계로 인해 객체의 경계 주변으로 홀(hole) 및 잡음이 생기고 영상으로 재생 시 경계 주변에서 흔들림(flickering) 현상이 발생한다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 흔들림 현상을 보정하여 화질이 좋은 가상 시점 영상을 실시간으로 생성하는 기법을 제안한다. 제안하는 기법에서는 먼저 결합형 양방향 필터를 이용하여 경계 주변의 홀을 채운다. 경계 주변의 흔들림 현상은 화소를 탐색하여 처리하는 기법을 적용하여 보정한다. 향상된 깊이 영상과 색상 영상에 3D 워핑(3D warping) 기법을 적용하여 가상 시점 영상을 획득한다. 획득된 영상에서 가려짐 영역(occlusion region)으로 인하여 생기는 홀은 블록기반의 기울기 탐색 기법과 블록의 신뢰도를 이용하여 채우게 된다. 실험을 통해 제안하는 시스템이 가상 시점 영상을 실시간으로 합성하는 것을 확인하였다.

Kinect 깊이 카메라를 이용한 가상시점 영상생성 기술 (Intermediate View Synthesis Method using Kinect Depth Camera)

  • 깊이영상기반 렌더링(depth image-based rendering, DIBR)이란 색상 영상과 각 화소에 대응하는 거리 정보로 이루어진 깊이 영상(depth map)을 이용하여 가상 시점에서의 영상을 합성하는 기술을 말한다. DIBR을 이용하면 3차원 TV에 적합한 컨텐츠를 생성할 수 있지만, 가상 시점에서의 영상을 합성하는 과정에서 원영상에 존재하지 않는 영역, 즉, 비폐색(disocclusion) 영역이 드러나는 등 여러 가지 문제가 발생한다. 본 논문에서는 구조광으로 깊이 정보를 획득하는 Kinect 깊이 카메라를 이용한 가상시점 영상생성 기술을 제안한다. 깊이 카메라로부터 색상 영상과 그에 대응하는 깊이 영상을 획득한 다음, 깊이 영상에 대한 전처리 기술을 수행한다. 전처리가 끝난 깊이 영상은 중간 시점으로 워핑되고, 워핑 과정에서 발생하는 절삭 오차를 제거하기 위해 Median 필터링을 적용한다. 그런 다음, 색상 영상은 워핑된 깊이 영상의 깊이 값을 사용해서 중간 시점으로 워핑된다. 비폐색(disocclusion) 영역을 채우기 위해 배경 기반의 인페인팅 기술을 적용한다. 실험 결과를 통해, 본 논문에서 제안한 방법이 자연스러운 스테레오 영상을 생성한 것을 확인할 수 있었다.

고동아말감과 Glass ionomer-silver cement의 생물학적 평가에 관한 연구 (A BIOLOGICAL EVALUATION OF HIGH COPPER AMALGAM AND GLASS IONOMER-SILVER CEMENT)

  • This study was to evaluate the cytotoxic effect in vitro and the tissue response within the rat peritoneal cavity to high copper amalgam and glass ionomer-silver cement, suggested for use as a retrograde endodontic filling material. In the cytotoxicity experiment, the radioactively ($^{51}Cr$) labeled L929 mouse fibroblasts were employed to determine the relative cytotoxicity of two experimental materials. Those materials were evaluated immediately after set and after one and seven days setting. In the tissue response experiment, two experimental materials were to evaluate mean peritoneal cellular count, differential cell count and the content of silver and copper in pooled packed cells and eluate samples taken by peritoneal lavage technique, and compared with surgical control after one day. two, four and six weeks of implantation. The results were as following: 1. High copper amalgam exhibited significant cytotoxicity immediately after set but showed no sign of toxicity after one day and seven days setting materials. 2. Glass ionomer-silver cement showed no sign of toxicity immediately after set and after one day and seven days setting. 3. High copper amalgam and glass ionomer-silver cement groups produce no significant difference in the mean peritoneal cell count when compared with the surgical control group after one day, two and four weeks of implantation. Surgical control group exhibited significantly a greater cell count when compared with the High copper amalgam group after six weeks. 4. High copper amalgam group increased significantly in the percentage macrophages after four and six weeks of implantation when compared with surgical control group. 5. The trace metal analysis involved an increased silver content in the elutes and an increased copper content in the packed cells of high copper amalgam group, and an increased silver content in the packed cells and elutes of glass ionomer-silver cement group.

An electrochemical study of the sealing ability of three retrofilling materials

  • The purpose of this study was to evaluate the apical sealing ability of Super-EBA, MTA and Dyract-flow as retrofilling materials. Forty-eight extracted human teeth with straight and single root canal were used in this study. The root canals were prepared to a #40 apical canal size and obturated with gutter-percha. Apicoectomies were performed and root end cavities were prepared to a depth of 3mm using an ultrasonic device. The root end cavities were filled with Super-EBA, MTA or Dyract-flow. Leakage was measured using an electrochemical technique for 4 weeks. According to this study, the results were as follows. 1. Increasing leakage with time was observed in all groups. 2. No significant difference was noted among the 3 groups with time (p =0.216). 3. No significant difference was noted among the 3 groups when measured within the same time interval (p =0.814). The results of this study suggest that the sealing ability of Dyract-flow is equal to that of Super-EBA and MTA, and Dyract-flow may be an alternative to other materials for root-end filling.

ADINA 구조해석을 이용한 PCT 거더교 좌굴 평가에 관한 연구 (Evaluation of Buckling in Prestressed Composite Truss Girder using ADINA Structure Analysis)

  • 최근에는 이러한 법공학 분야에 유한요소법 및 유한체적법을 이용한 다양한 시뮬레이션 기법을 활용하여 안전사고 및 재난사고에 대한 법적 책임문제를 해명하고 보다 정확한 원인분석을 통해 원인을 규명하고 있는 추세이다. 본 연구에서는 ADINA 구조해석을 이용하여 단경교 거더교 붕괴사고에 관한 좌굴 원인분석을 수행하였다. 본 연구에서 다루는 사고는 단경교 거더교 신축 중 상현 슬래브 구성을 위한 콘크리트 타설 중 교량이 붕괴된 사고로 원설계 공법에서 가설 공법이 변경되었고 상현 콘크리트 블록 및 격벽 콘크리트 등을 미시공한 상태에서 그 다음 단계인 상현 슬래브 콘크리트 타설을 진행함으로써 구조적 불안정을 가져와 거더가 좌굴이 발생하여 붕괴된 사고이다. 사고 재현 실험이 불가한 경우 F.E.M 을 이용한 구조안정성 비교 평가는 정확한 공학적 사고의 원인을 규명하는데 효과적인 방법이다.

합착방법(合着方法)에 따른 복합(複合)레진 인레이의 변연폐쇄효과(邊緣閉鎖效果) (THE MARGINAL SEALING EFFECT OF COMPOSITE RESIN INLAYS ACCORDING TO THE LUTING TECHNIQUES)

  • The purpose of the study was to evaluate the marginal sealing effect of composite resin inlays according to the luting techniques and compare them to the conventional direct resin filling technique. 90 cavities of class V were prepared on the buccal surface of 90 extracted molar teeth, which were divided into four groups. Cavities of control group were directly filled with Scotchbond 2 and P - 50, and those of composite resin inlay groups were luted with one of the followings: Adhesive bond followed by Adhesive cement, All bond followed by Adhesive cement, Fuji - ionomer type L All the specimens were immersed in India ink dye solution for 7 days at $37^{\circ}C$ incubator after thermocycling between $5^{\circ}C$ and $60^{\circ}C$ and longitudinally sectioned with diamond disk inot two parts All the specimens were observed at the occlusal and gingival margins and statistical analysis was performed. The results were as follows: 1. Groups filled with composite resin inlay showed less marginal leakage than the group directly filled(p<0.01). 2. There was no significant difference in marginal leakage between composite resin inlay groups luted with Adhesive bond followed by Adhesive cement and the group luted with All bond followed by Adhesive cement(p>0.05). 3. At occlusal margins, Composite resin inlay group luted with Adhesive bond followed by Adhesive cement showed less marginal leakage than the group luted with Fuii ionomer type I(p<0.01). At gingival margins, composite resin inlay group luted with All bond followed by Adhesive cement showed less marignal leakage than the group luted with Fuji ionomer type I(P<0.01).

능동 데이터베이스 기반 교육 정보 질의 처리 시스템의 설계 및 구현 (Design and Implementation of Active Database Based Query Processing System for Educational Information)

  • 본 논문에서는 WWW환경에서 능동 데이터베이스 기법을 활용한 교육 정보 시스템을 설계하고 구현하였다. 본 논문에서 개발한 시스템은 크게 사용자 그룹 인터페이스, 능동기반 모니터, 전문가 그룹 인터페이스로 구성된다. 개발 시스템을 구성하는 각각의 모듈들의 역할을 간략히 정리하면 다음과 같다. 사용자 그룹 인터페이스는 개발 시스템에 등록된 사용자들이 시스템에 접근하는 용도로 사용한다. 능동 기반 모니터는 트리거링 모듈로서 키워드 파서, 예외 상황 처리기, DB접근 모듈 등으로 구성되며, 키워드 인덱스 Q&A DB, 사용자 그룹 메일링 리스트, 전문가 그룹 메일링 리스트를 관리한다. 즉, 능동 기반 모니터는 본 논문에서 개발한 시스템의 핵심 부분으로 사용자의 요구를 키워드 기반으로 분석하여 요구 내용을 능동적으로 처리한다. 전문가 그룹 인터페이스는 개발 시스템에 등록된 전문가들이 질문 내용에 대한 답변을 제공하는 용도로서 사용한다.

성견 상악 치근 이개부 병소에 Glass Ionomer Cement 충전 시 조직 반응에 관한 연구 (Effects on the Tissue Reaction Using GI Cement in the Maxillary Grade II Furcation in the Beagle Dogs)

  • Procedures for treatment of molar furcation invasion defects range from open flap debridement, apically repositioned flap surgery, hemisection, tunneling or extraction, to regenerative therapies using bone grafting or guided tissue regenerative therapy, or a combination of both. Several clinical evaluations using regenerative techniques have reported the potential for osseous repair of treated furcation invasions. Regenerative treatment of maxillary molars are more difficult due to the multiple root anatomy and multiple furcation entrances therefore, purpose of this study was to evaluated histologically self-curing glass-ionomer cement and light-curing glass-ionomer cement as a barrier in the treatment of a bi-furcated maxillary premolar. Five adult beagle dogs were used in this experiment. With intrasulcular and crestal incision, mucoperiosteal flap was elevated. Following decortication with 1/2 high speed round bur, degree II furcation defect was made on maxillary third(P3), forth(P4) and fifth(P5) premolar. 2 month later experimental group were self-curing glassionomer cement and light-curing glassionomer cement. After 4, 8 weeks, the animals were sacrificed by vascular perfusion. Tissue block was excised including the tooth and prepared for light microscope with Gomori's trichrome staining. Results were as follows. 1. In all experiment group, there were not epithelial down growth and glass ionomer cement were encapsulated connective tissue. 2. In 4 weeks experiment I group slighly infiltrated inflammatory cells but not disturb the new bone or new cementum formation. 3. In 8 weeks, experiment groups I, II were encapsulated fine connective tissue. 4. Therefore glass-ionomer cement filling to the grade III maxillary furcations with multiple root anatomy and multiple furcation entrances were possible clinical methods and this technique is useful method for Maxillary furcation involvement.
