하상사력재를 이용한 CFRD의 연구 (A Study of CFRD using a Gravel Fill)

  • In the construction of dam, the key factor which decides the type of dam is security of materials resource. Because of the large scale earth work, the ability to supply the materials is essential part about economical efficiency. The research is the case study about controlling the plan to secure the material resources in the design of Buhang multipurpose dam. In case of Buhang multipurpose dam, at that time of basic design, it was planned to use a rock fill material. From the detail investigation about the river bed accumulative layer widely spread on the submerged district on the basic design, the research is accomplished to replace rock material with gravel material. After the investigation of whole reserves of gravel material, estimation of conformity as dam construction material from analysis of grain size distribution, the case study of oversea construction, and the material property comparison between rock fill material and gravel fill material, it is verified th possibility of using the gravel fill. Thereafter, the analysis of dam stability using a gravel fill material is accomplished. Finally, A gravel fill material can be used as the main construction material of CFRD, therefore the efficiency of resource recycling in the submerged area is maximized, and the established plan is more advantageous to stability, constructibility, environmentibility than the case of using a rock fill.

Fill Dam의 방수로모형실험에 관한 고찰 (A Study on Model Test for Spilway of Fill Dam)

  • This paper is a report on the research of experimental model test of Andong Fill Dam, which has been planned by the Government of Korea as a project, of its over-flowing capacity in spillway, creation of minus pressure and structure of anti-water impulse in over-flow weir. Andong Fill Dam is one of the project of master development plant for water resources, locating at Nakdong River side of Korea, and is aimed to have a multi-purpose dam for flood-control, irrigation, water power, urban and industrial water supply. This dam is planned to erect in fill-dam type due to the improper soil foundation and condition for concrete dam. The refore for the proper and advantageous points, this is designed as center core fill dam. By a model minimized of Andong Fill Dam, held an experimental model test on water quentity of reservir, discharges of overflow part, low pressure and anti-water impulse of overflow part, which was conducted an experiment by flowing aspects through each section of spillway to find the changes of water pressure and that of water level, and corrected the section of each part in order to conduct a check on the creation of minus pressure not to be over acted to the allowable bundary of the section structure; and for the prevention of concentated scouring at the down stream side of flow.

  • The objective of this study is firstly to frame up the seismic safety of rock-fill dams. It is necessary to analyze seismic response and evaluate seismic performance of rock-fill dams during earthquake. In this study, seismic damage and dynamic analysis of rock-fill dams using structural analysis package such as FLAC were performed. According detailed analysis, the vibration through the dam structure seems to be very critical depending on the shape of the dams. For more precise evaluation of seismic fragility of rock-fill dams, further research is still needed.

  • The purpose of this study is to examine the effects of a degree of discretization in the direction of longitudinal dam axis on the results of three dimensional fill dam dynamic analysis. In this study, the three dimensional dynamic analyses of the existing 'H' dam which is modeled with a different degree of discretization were carried out. From these results, the fundamental frequency of the dam and the responses at the dam crest such as acceleration and settlement were compared and analyzed. It was concluded that the size of finite element discretized in the direction of the longitudinal axis mush be smaller than 1/8 of dam length in order to obtain the reasonable fundamental frequency and response of acceleration and mush be smaller than 1/10 in order to obtain the reasonable settlement behaviors from the three dimensional dynamic analysis of the fill dam.

원심모형실험에 의한 수위상승시 필댐의 간극수압 거동 연구 (A Study on Pore Water Pressure Behavior of Fill Dam with Water Level Raising using Centrifugal Model Tests)

  • The aim of this study is to examine the behavior of reservoir fill dam with the water level raising by use of the centrifugal model test and the numerical simulation. In this study, LIQCA2D-SF based on the cyclic elasto-plastic constitutive model proposed by Oka et al. (1999) is applied for numerical simulation. In order to investigate the displacements and the pore water pressures in the fill dam due to the water level raising velocity, three model tests in centrifugal field of 50g for fill dams were conducted. A comparison between the test result and the simulation result has provided the influence on the displacement and the pore water pressure of the fill dam with increasing up of the water level.

지속적 수위변동 및 월류에 따른 저수지 제체의 거동 연구 (Behavior of Fill Dam Subjected to Continuous Water Level Change and Overflow)

  • 본 연구에서는 현장응력상태 및 수위변동을 재현한 원심모형실험을 통하여 속도변화를 고려한 지속적 수위승강에 따른 제체의 거동을 검토하였으며, 기후변화에 따른 기습적 폭우 상황을 상정한 월류 시 제체의 파괴거동을 모사하였다. 실험 결과, 제체내의 간극수압 및 변위는 수위상승 및 하강속도에 비례하여 증감하며, 제정부 및 제체 하류측 사면부의 변위증분은 수위승강속도에 대하여 독립적임을 알 수 있었다. 또한 반복적이고 지속적인 수위변동은 변위의 누적을 통해 제체의 변형을 진행시키는 요인이 되며, 월류에 의해 저수지 제체의 안정성이 급격히 저하됨을 확인하였다. 따라서 호우 등으로 수위가 급상승하는 경우 간극수압, 변위 등을 실시간으로 감시하고, 이상 발생 시 수문개방 등을 통해 저수지의 수위를 조절하는 조치를 강구할 필요가 있다.

  • 국내 노후화된 필댐의 경우에는 수문학적 안정성과 더불어 구조적 안정성 확보가 국가재난 예방차원에서 요구되고 있는 실정이다. 설계 및 시공시의 문제나 지진 등 자연현상으로 인하여 댐체가 손상되었거나 노후화로 문제된 댐의 대부분이 필댐 타입이며, 이중 일부는 차수(코아) 존이 손상되어 과다한 누수현상이 발생되고 있어 홍수시 댐 붕괴로까지의 진행이 우려되는 바 차수보강대책에 대한 체계적인 연구가 시급하다고 여겨진다. 본 연구에서는 침투그라우팅으로 보강된 필댐에 있어서 보수.보강 전후의 차수 성능변화를 전기비저항탐사 등의 물리조사를 이용하여 분석 평가하고자 하였다. 연구결과 전기비저항탐사는 그라우팅으로 보강된 필댐의 보강효과를 판단하는 유효한 도구로 사용될 수 있음을 알 수 있었으며, 그라우팅으로 보강된 필댐의 누수량은 크게 저하되어 안정성이 향상 되었음을 알 수 있었다.

  • Several seismic design standards for fill dams adopted in Japan USA and Korea are reviewed in this study. The review on those standards is tried to provide a thinking way for a new seismic design standard which is urgently requested by the government I. e. the Ministry of Construction & Transportation and the Ministry of Science & Techniology. This study suggest that as a new seismic design standard of fill dam including concrete face rockfill dam(CFRD) the modified earthquake intensity method based on dynamic analysis be adopted in Korea while the dynamic analysis method should be used in evaluatiing the performance of fill dams precisely.

  • In this study, the suitability of CFGD(concrete faced gravefill dam) was investigated by examining the strength and deformation characteristics of a gravelfill material, a CFGD main fill material, and comparing them with those of several rockfill dam materials. The gravelfill material exhibited similar strength and deformation properties to those of the main fill materials of existing stable large rockfill dams. Since not only CFGD has environmental and economic advantages over CFRD, but its main fill material compares favorably with those of the existing stable CFRDs, CFGD may be the best choice when natural gravel materials are abundant in the vicinity of the dam construction location.

  • When surface Concrete Face Rock fill Dam constructs than existent center core type rock fill dam, it is much prevalent form in domestic these day by quality control of that is profitable and weather condition etc. of coreZone. C.F.R.D is less research about seismic survey(Refractional Seismic Prospectin, Resistivity Prospecting) of levee body than fill dam. Thus as C.F.R.D seismic survey is less, safety of that consist is short most development flue is high reason. That is not checking target of minuteness safety diagnosis and so on by short operation period. Wish to analyze inquiry incidental and difference with center core type dam and acquire C.F.R.D preservation administration upper necessary inquiry condition forward hereafter.
