  • In this study, the field density test was conducted as a volume conversion factor for the design of the excavation soil of the blasting rock. As a result of the field density test, the average volume conversion factor of rock was 1.001, which was smaller than the volume conversion factor of weathered rock 1.1. In the case of rock filled soil, the causes of the increase and decrease of the volume of the soil are provided by various phenomena. However, the specific techniques such as investigation and test methods are insufficient. Therefore, it was confirmed that the method of field density test is very useful method.

  • As the development of national lands increase, the necessity to develop less favorable terrain also increases. It also becomes more difficult and complicated to provide access that is both economical and safe from contributing to soil erosion on roadsides and to londscape damages. Because of the increased and justified emphasis upon environmental degradation, proper stabilization of the cut-and bank slopes of roadsides, plant sites and building sites in Korea requires careful planning as well as execution of the constructions. All fill slopes should be compacted to a degree consistent with design standards and material properties. Drainage facilities should be provided to prevent damaging concentrations of surface runoff and to avoid high pore pressures in cuts and fills. All surfaces of cut-fill slopes should be revegetated with suitable species as soon as possible after construction. To stabilize the cut-fill slopes of highway roadsides should be considerded the factor of stabilization as well as landscape conservation especially. Such basic influences as the effects of vegetations on water balance of rain fall, on the control of surface erosion and on the surface slope failures are briefly discussed in the report.

  • The laboratory tests are performed on how the liquefaction potential of the sea dike structures on the saturated sand or silty sand seabed could be affected due to earthquake before and after construction results are given as follows ; 1. Earthquake damages to sea dike structures consist of lateral deformation, settlement, minor abnormality of the structures and differential settlement of embankments, etc. It is known that severe disasters due to this type of damages are not much documented. Because of its high relative cost of the preventive measures against this type of damages, the designing engineer has much freedom for the play of judgement and ingenuity in the selection of the construction methods, that is, by comparing the cost of the preventive design cost at a design stage to reconstruction cost after minor failure. 2. The factors controlling the liquefaction potential of the hydraulic fill structure are magnitude of earthquake(max. surface velocity), N-value(relative density), gradation, consistency(plastic limit), classification of soil(G & vs), ground water level, compaction method, volumetric shear stress and strain, effective confining stress, and primary consolidation. 3. The probability of liquefaction can be evaluated by the simple method based on SPT and CPT test results or the precise method based on laboratory test results. For sandy or silty sand seabed of the concerned area of this study, it is said that evaluation of liquefaction potential can be done by the one-dimensional analysis using some geotechnical parameters of soil such as Ip, Υt' gradation, N-value, OCR and classification of soils. 4. Based on above mentioned analysis, safety factor of liquefaction potential on the sea bed at the given site is Fs =0.84 when M = 5.23 or amax= 0.12g. With sea dike structures H = 42.5m and 35.5m on the same site Fs= 3.M~2.08 and Fs = 1.74~1.31 are obtained, respectively. local liquefaction can be expected at the toe of the sea dike constructed with hydraulic fill because of lack of constrained effective stress of the area.

  • To improve the stability of levee structure, it is required to use good quality fill materials, intensive management, appropriate hydraulic structure and construction of cut-off wall. In particular, the most important factor of levee construction technology is to use bed sediment for its safety. In this study, seepage model test and numerical analysis were performed based on a standard section of levee recommended in the river design standard of korea (2005). The results of test and analysis show that most of the bed soil is a sand (SP in USCS), which does not satisfy the permeability criteria for levee materials ($< k=10^{-3}cm/sec$), thus for the safety of levee it is required to adopt a stabilizing method such as good quality soil mixing, water content control.

  • We report high work function Aluminum doped zinc oxide (AZO) films as insertion layer as a function of O2 flow rate between transparent conducting oxides (TCO) and hydrogenated amorphous silicon oxide (a-SiOx:H) layer to improve open circuit voltage (Voc) and fill factor (FF) for high efficiency thin film solar cell. However, amorphous silicon (a-Si:H) solar cells exhibit poor fill factors due to a Schottky barrier like impedance at the interface between a-SiOx:H windows and TCO. The impedance is caused by an increasing mismatch between the work function of TCO and that of p-type a-SiOx:H. In this study, we report on the silicon thin film solar cell by using as insertion layer of O2 reactive AZO films between TCO and p-type a-SiOx:H. Significant efficiency enhancement was demonstrated by using high work-function layers (4.95 eV at O2=2 sccm) for engineering the work function at the key interfaces to raise FF as well as Voc. Therefore, we can be obtained the conversion efficiency of 7 % at 13mA/cm2 of the current density (Jsc) and 63.35 % of FF.

  • The number of new students at many domestic universities is declining. In particular, private universities, which are highly dependent on tuition, are experiencing a crisis of existence. Amid the declining school-age population, universities are striving to fill new students by improving the quality of education and increasing the student employment rate. Recently, there is an increasing number of cases of using the accumulated big data of universities to prepare measures to fill new students. A representative example of this is the analysis of factors that affect student employment. Existing employment-influencing factor analysis studies have applied quantitative models such as regression analysis to university big data. However, since the factors affecting employment differ by major, it is necessary to reflect this. In this paper, the factors affecting employment by major are analyzed using the data of University C and the decision tree model. In addition, based on the analysis results, a roadmap for student employment by major is recommended. As a result of the experiment, four decision tree models were constructed for each major, and factors affecting employment by major and roadmap were derived.

  • In the past two decades, there has been an increasing interest in project knowledge management, as knowledge is a crucial resource for project management success. Knowledge capture and sharing are two effective project management practices. Capturing and sharing project knowledge has become more efficient due to technological advances. Nevertheless, present technologies face several technical, functional, and usage obstacles and constraints. Thus, Blockchain technology might provide promising answers, yet, there is still a dearth of understanding regarding the technology's proper and practical application. Consequently, the goal of this study was to fill the gap in the literature about the adoption of Blockchain technology and to investigate the project stakeholders' acceptance and willingness to utilize the technology for capturing and sharing project knowledge. Due to this inquiry's exploratory and inductive characteristics, qualitative research methodology was used, namely the Grounded Theory research approach. Accordingly, eighteen in-depth, semi-structured interviews were conducted to collect the data. Concurrent data collection and analysis were undertaken, with findings emerging after three coding steps. Four influencing factors and one moderating factor were identified as affecting users' acceptance of Blockchain technology for capturing and sharing project knowledge. Consequently, the results of the study aimed to fill a gap in the existing literature by undertaking a comprehensive analysis of the unrealized potential of Blockchain technology to improve knowledge capture and sharing in the project management environment.

  • We present new BVRI light curves of UY UMa with no O'Connell effect and a flat bottom secondary eclipse. Light curve synthesis with the Wilson-Devinney code gives a new solution, which is quite different from the previous study: UY UMa is an A-subtype over-contact binary with a small mass ratio of q = 0.21, a high inclination of 81°.4, a small temperature difference of ΔT=18°, a large fill-out factor of f = 0.61, and a third light of approximately 10% of the total systemic light. The absolute dimensions were newly determined. Seventeen new times of minimum light have been calculated from our observations. The period study indicates that the orbital period has intricately varied in a secular period increase in which two cyclical terms with periods of 12y.0 and 46y.3 are superposed. The secular period increase was interpreted to be due to a conservative mass transfer of 2.68 × 10-8 M/yr from the less massive to the more massive star. The cyclical components are discussed in terms of double-light time contributions from two additional bound stars. The statistical relations of Yang & Qian (2015) among the physical parameters of 45 deep, low mass ratio contact binaries were revisited by using the physical parameters of UY UMa and 25 Kepler contact binaries provided by Şenavci et al. (2016).

  • In this study, we applied the low temperature curing Ag paste to replace PVD System. The electrode formation of low temperature curing Ag paste for silicon Hetero-junction solar cells is important for improving device characteristics such as adhesion, contact resistance, fill factor and conversion efficiency. The low temperature curing Ag paste is composed various additives such as solvent, various organic materials, polymer, and binder. it depends on the curing temperature conditions. The adhesion of the low temperature curing Ag paste was decided by scratch test. The specific contact resistance was measured using the transmission line method. All of the Ag electrodes were experimented at various curing temperatures within the temperature range of $160^{\circ}C-240^{\circ}C$, at $20^{\circ}C$ intervals. The curing time was also changed by varying the conditions of 10-50min. In the optimum curing temperature $200^{\circ}C$ and for 20 min, the measured contact resistance is $19.61m{\Omega}cm^2$. Over temperature $240^{\circ}C$, confirmed bad contact characteristic. We obtained photovoltaic parameter of the industrial size such as Fill Factor (FF), current density (Jsc), open-circuit voltage (Voc) and convert efficiency of up to 76.2%, 38.1 mA/cm2, 646 mV and 18.3%, respectively.
