  • Total six units of 3kW photovoltaic (PV) system and data acquisition system (DAS) are constructed for analyzing performance of PV system at field demonstration test center of Gwang-Ju in Korea. As climatic and irradiation conditions are varied, operation characteristics of the PV system are collected and analyzed in data-acquisition system. Furthermore, not only performance test of each PV system component such as PV module and power conditioning system, but also performance of total PV system e.g. system efficiency, electric power and loss factor at the site are reviewed.

제연 TAB를 통한 철도 지하환승통로의 거실제연설비 성능평가 (A Performance Evaluation of Zone Smoke Control Systems for Railway Underground Transit Passage by Smoke Control TAB)

  • 본 연구에서는 거실제연설비가 설치된 철도 지하환승통로에 현장성능평가시험인 제연 TAB(Test, Adjusting, Balancing)를 실시하여, 제연설비 성능 확보에 미치는 영향을 분석하고 개선방안을 도출하였다. 제연 TAB는 지하환승통로의 제연설비 설계자료 분석, 제연덕트 누기테스트, 제연송풍기와 덕트의 풍량 및 풍속 측정, Smoke test로 나누어 진행되었다. 제연덕트 누기시험을 통해 누기율을 측정하여 덕트의 기밀성을 확인하였고, 흡입측 덕트 정압손실로 인한 제연풍량 부족의 문제점을 개선하여 송풍기의 성능을 확보하였다. 또한, Smoke test을 통해 예상제연구역별 제연댐퍼 동작 시 자연풍, 열차풍 영향으로 인한 문제점을 분석하고 개선하여 예상 제연구역 내 제연이 원활하게 이루어짐을 확인하였다.

Performance analysis of a 746 W HTS generator equipped with 70 A class contactless superconducting field exciter

  • This paper presents the analysis results on the electrical output performance characteristics of a 746 W high temperature superconducting generator (HTSG). The HTS field winding is charged by non-contact excitation method, i.e., contactless superconducting field exciter (CSFE) which is originated by rotary flux pump based on permanent magnet. In this paper, the preliminary current charging test was carried out using a 70 A CSFE to evaluate the performance of field exciter and analyze its non-contact excitation characteristics for the full-scale HTS field winding of the 746 W HTSG. First, the various contactless current-charging tests were conducted using assembly with HTS field winding and CSFE. Then, in order to estimate the output power performance characteristics of the 746 W HTSG, finite element analysis was conducted based on field excitation information which is experimentally measured under various operating conditions. Finally, the electrical output characteristics in no-load and load models were simulated by two-dimensional transient solver in ANSYS electromagnetics 19.0 release.

  • One of the critical items in radar testing is the ability to evaluate the performance of radar systems under real operational environments. But it takes lots of time and cost to operate real targets and analyze the test results due to a large amount of data based on these complicated environments. In this paper, the Radar Simulative T&E Lab. is introduced, and the test and analysis results of the developing radar for predicting the radar system performance are described in the Radar Simulative T&E Lab. This laboratory could be used to test the far-field characteristics of antenna radiation pattern and to perform an effective radar system test and evaluation using a simulative target generator under a low cost repeating test situation.

항만콘크리트의 내구실험과 현장적용 (Durablity Test and Field Application of Marine Concrete)

  • This paper covers durability and field application of marine concrete which have been enhanced the resistance against deterioration in seawater. Fly ash concrete is applied to make the concrete with good durability. It is well known fly ash in concrete has a good performance preventing fro a sulphate attack and a steel corrosion. Several durability tests were performed to find characteristics of marine concrete which is proposed in this paper comparing with normal concrete. Field application was executed to compare results with laboratory test and to give a reliability to engineers. The project was supported by Ministry of Marine Affairs and Fisheries for two years.

  • The fire at the pilotis parking lot shows the fire propagation paths that are propagated to the ceiling materials and insulation materials and propagated through the external walls. In addition, there is a high risk of fire caused by vehicles with high combustion loads spreading throughout the parking lot. In particular, the omission of the ceiling materials at the parking lot in recent fire cases has contributed to the spread of the fire. In this study, the combustion performance of the ceiling materials between the insulation material and the vehicle is considered to prevent fire from spreading. Based on field research, the type of ceiling material used in the piloti structure showed that SMC ceiling materials have the highest percentage. Combustion performance test (KS F ISO 5660-1) was carried out on the SMC ceiling materials and the AL ceiling materials to review the fire safety of the ceiling finish based on the field investigation. The results of the test showed that the SMC ceiling materials has a THR 28.973[MJ/㎡] and peek HRR 273.93 [kW/㎡], while the AL ceiling material has a THR 0.584[MJ/㎡] and peek HRR 15.215[kW/㎡].

  • 본 연구에서는 현재 건설신기술로 지정된 복합계방수공법 7개사(A~G)를 대상으로 KS F 2622:멤브레인 방수층 성능평가 시험방법 중 현장 적용조건과 유사성이 큰 평가항목을 선정하여 평가한 결과, 모든 시험체가 기본 물성평가에서 KS 기준을 상회하는 성능을 확보했음에도 불구하고, 내피로(균열 거동) 시험을 제외한 방수성(수밀성) 시험, 처짐 저항성 시험, 부풂 저항성 시험에서 점착 도막 계열로 이루어진 공법의 접합부와 수직부 등 취약부위의 현장품질 성능을 확보하기 어려운 것으로 확인하였다.

철도교통용 고속 트랜스폰더시스템 실차 시험 (Field Test of High-Speed Transponder System for Rail Transport)

  • In order to detect the exact position of high-speed train, it is necessary to obtain location information from the transponder tag installed along the track. When the transponder tag receives the energizing signal from the train, it sends a telegram to the reader, which includes location information. In high-speed railway environment, this telegram can be corrupted by electromagnetic interference caused by onboard electric train power equipments or wayside devices. In order to assess the performance of transponder system under this harsh environment, we carried out field test using HEMU-430X. Field test results are briefly introduced and discussed for the evaluation of the transponder system under development.

  • In this topic, I will introduce a recent work on reconstructing the cosmic density field based on the GAN. I will show the performance of the GAN compared to the traditional Unet architecture. I'd also like to discuss a 3-channels-based 2D datasets for the training to recover the 3D density field. Finally, I will present some performance tests based on the test datasets.

옥외형 화재경보시스템의 개발과 성능시험에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Development, Performance and Reliability Certification for Fire Detection System in Outdoor Area)

  • 본 연구는 자연 발생적인 화재 및 방화자에 의한 화재를 탐지하는 고효율 저비용의 옥외형 화재경보시스템으로 중소문화재, 천연기념물 및 옥외 시설물 등 화재 발생 시 관리 감시가 취약한 곳을 대상으로 한 소방시스템의 옥외 적용시 성능 및 시험에 대한 것이다. 재래적 화재감지시스템으로부터 탈피하여 지능적인 이동형 무인 화재감지시스템의 도입을 위해 화재경보시스템 성능시험, 기능시험, 옥외 환경시험, 불꽃시험 및 EMI/EMS 적합시험 등을 실시하였다. 성능시험, 기능시험, 불꽃시험 및 옥외방치시험을 3개월간 실시한바 양호하였고, 온도변화 성능시험도 $-30{\sim}70^{\circ}C$에서 양호하였으며 EMI/EMS 시험도 적합하였다. 불꽃검출거리는 75 m까지 증가되었고 대기모드 전원은 4시간 증가, 운영모드 전원에서의 동작시간은 3일까지 가능하였으며 센서뿐만 아니라 영상으로 상황을 인지하는데 적합함을 확인하였다.
