노후 콘크리트 포장 절삭 덧씌우기의 침투수에 의한 파손 최소화 방안 연구 (A Study on the Minimization of Water Damage for the Asphalt Inlay of Old Concrete Pavement)

  • PURPOSES: The purpose of this study was to investigate the disintegration mechanism of concrete due to the infiltration of the moisture to the milling overlay pavement and to come up with a method to minimize the disintegration as well as verifying the effectiveness of the edge sealing and Fogseal method. METHODS : This study investigated the distress mechanism due to the infiltrated moisture remaining in the milling overlay pavement through chloride freezing test and verified the effectiveness of the sealing of the milling edge and fog seal methods, which have been devised to minimize the moisture infiltration, through laboratory water permeability test. Additionally, long-term pavement performance was compared for the effectiveness of the proposed method through under loading test, and field water permeability test was carried out to verify the field applicability of the proposed method. RESULTS: The result of the research confirmed that chloride deteriorates the concrete surface through disintegration and lowers its strength and that the laboratory moisture infiltration test verified the effectiveness of the milling edge sealing and fog seal methods in the deterrence of moisture infiltration to the overlay pavement with excellent long-term performance of the pavement treated with the proposed method. Although the field water permeability test revealed some deterrence of moisture infiltration of the milling edge sealing and fog seal methods to a certain extent, the difference was a little. CONCLUSIONS: The milling edge sealing and fog seal methods are limited in their effectiveness for the cases of improvident compaction management or mixture with large void, and it is believed that installation of subsurface drainage is more effective in these cases.

합성수지 거푸집의 성능평가 및 현장 적용성에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Performance Evaluation and Field Application of Synthetic Resin Formwork)

  • 본 논문은 합성수지 거푸집 성능평가를 위해 길이 변화율, 충격시험, 소음테스트를 실시하였다. 또한 현장 적용을 통해 합성수지 거푸집 시공성에 대해 검토하였다. 실험결과, 가열 길이 변화 시험, 충격시험은 KS기준치를 모두 만족하는 것으로 나타났다. 소음 테스트의 경우 유로폼이 평균 106dB(A)을 나타냈으며, 합성수지 거푸집은 평균 100.4dB(A)을 나타났다. 음압레벨의 경우, 합성수지 거푸집이 유로폼보다 고주파영역에서 낮게 나타나 시공시 소음 피로도가 적고 주변민원은 감소할 것으로 판단된다. 마지막으로 현장적용결과, 콘크리트 타설 중 거푸집 휨 현상이나 배부름 현상은 발생하지 않았다. 또한 콘크리트 표면 마감도가 합성수지 거푸집이 유로폼면 보다 더 우수한 것으로 나타났다.

대전지역의 지상파 DTV 현장 측정 및 결과 분석 (Measurement Procedure and Analysis of Terrestrial DTV Field Test in Taejeon)

  • 약 2에 걸쳐서 대전지역을 대상으로 DTV 현장측정을 실시하였다. 총 33개의 측정지점을 선정하였고 각 지점에서 수신전력, 잡음전력, SER, RMS 지연확산 및 등화기의 성능을 측정하였다. 전체 측정지점 중의 약 50%가 영상과 음성의 질이 만족할 만한 수준이었고, 등화기는 고스트신호에 대하여 보상능력이 있었으며 13.7dB의 S/N개선을 얻었다. 이 결과로부터 DTV를 위한 측정결과를 확립할 수 있을 것이다.

노후 콘크리트 포장 파손에 대한 현장조사 및 실내시험 방법 (Methodology of Field Investigation and Laboratory Test for Distresses of Old Concrete Pavements)

  • PURPOSES : The purpose of this study is to suggest a specific investigation guideline to decide priority of repairing old concrete pavements that pile up substantially. METHODS : In this study, a principle of division of homogeneous sections was proposed to reflect the characteristics of the pavement reasonably in the specific investigation results. In addition, a checklist and guideline of field investigation were suggested for the old concrete pavement sections, which require inspection toward their durability and structural performance. Furthermore, the items of laboratory test necessary to the old concrete pavement were suggested based on the existing laboratory test considering characteristics of the old concrete pavement. The present condition of the old concrete pavement could be analyzed by the test results. RESULTS : A method of division of homogeneous sections suitable for the specific investigation of the old concrete pavement was suggested. The proportions of distress severity of pavement sections were compared by distress type to figure out the present state of the old concrete pavement. Scaling, durability cracking (or alkali-silica reaction), and longitudinal spalling were selected as the most severe distress types. The detailed positions of the sections were also suggested. The checklist of the specific investigation was categorized by field survey and laboratory test, and its evaluation criteria were proposed. The three types of the sections of durability cracking (or alkali-silica reaction), bridge connection, and asphalt overlay were selected as the sections of the field survey. The compressive strength, void structure, and chloride penetration depth were suggested as the items of the laboratory test. CONCLUSIONS : A fundamental level of the guideline was suggested in this study to resolve the problem of old concrete pavement. Appropriate guidelines related to the repair of the old concrete pavement should be provided by performing additional research efforts.

히트펌프 성능 평가 동향과 국내 지열원 히트펌프 성능 평가 규격 및 제도 분석 (Analysis on the Performance Evaluation Trends of Heat Pumps and the Test Standards of a Geothermal Heat Pump in Korea)

  • The heating and cooling air conditioning field has been increasing the problems of energy consumption and global warming in the world. A geothermal heat pump has been known as one of the highest efficient heating and cooling system. In this study, the analysis about the test standards of the geothermal heat pump of the Republic of Korea was executed. From the research, the following results were given. It is needed to address the domestic test standard for direct heat exchange geothermal heat pump. Water to air multi geothermal heat pump test standard was only developed in Korea. The test standard to calculate a seasonal energy efficiency ratio for cooling period and heat seasonal performance factor for heating period should be newly developed to estimate actual annual energy consumption and $CO_2$ emission.

걸침길이에 따른 PC 슬래브의 화재성능에 관한 실험적 연구 (Experimental Study on the Fire Performance of PC Slab by the Bearing Length)

  • 본 연구에서는 물류창고시설의 개발 증가에 따른 화재사고 증가에 대응하여 실외 환경에서의 PC 슬래브의 화재성능 평가를 위한 실물대 화재실험을 실시하였다. 실외 화재실험에 앞서 고온에서 강연선의 인장 항복 강도를 시험하여 기계적 물성을 분석하였다. 또한, 이전 연구들을 참고하여 강연선의 열적 특성과 콘크리트의 기계적, 열적 특성을 조사하였다. 실외 화재실험은 걸침길이가 50mm, 150mm인 동일한 슬래브 2개의 구조성능 및 내화성능을 분석하기 위해 수행되었다. 걸침길이가 길어질수록 처짐은 감소하였고, 걸침길이에 대한 수평 변위 또한 감소하였다. 200분 가량 진행된 실험에서 슬래브의 탈락이 발생하지 않아 현행 기준이 적절함이 확인되었다. 콘크리트의 폭렬 현상이 발생하여 강연선 일부가 끊어졌으나, 구조성능은 지속되었기 때문에 부착식 공법을 이용한 PSC 슬래브의 실용성을 확인할 수 있었다. 이에 따라, 물류창고 PC 슬래브의 내화성능 판단을 위한 기초 자료로 활용될 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

  • 현재 중부내륙 고속도로 시험도로(test road)에는 환경하중에 대한 도로 포장체의 환경적인 거동 특성을 파악하기 위하여 다져진 노상토에 WCR형태의 함수량계로 측정되는 체적 함수량이 현장 밀도의 영향등으로 부정확하게 예측되는 경향을 나타내고 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 흙의 특성과 현장 밀도를 고려하여 현장에 적합한 함수량 보정을 실내 및 현장시험을 각각 실시하고 이를 토대로 보정방정식을 제안하였다. 연구 결과 보정된 함수량은 현장의 측정치에 근접하게 판명되었다. 따라서 WCR을 활용하여 다짐된 노상토 지반의 체적 함수량을 측정시 사용된 흙의 종류 및 다짐조건 등이 고려되어야 한다.

  • 장거리 관측용 카메라의 일반적인 운용방법은 광각에서 표적에 대한 탐지를 하며, 망원으로 표적에 대한 인지/식별을 하게 된다. 탐지/인지거리 성능은 방산용 적외선카메라의 성능을 평가하는 중요한 항목이다. 탐지거리 성능이 증가하려면 카메라의 시야가 좁아져야 하고, 좁은 시야각으로 인하여 표적을 찾게 될 확률이 상대적으로 낮아지게 된다. 본 연구에서는 탐지거리 성능을 유지하면서 넓은 시야각을 제공하여 표적에 대한 탐색을 용이하게 할 수 있는 방안을 검토하였다. 그리고 M&S 및 최적화 설계를 통하여 시야 확장형 적외선카메라를 제작하고 시험한 결과를 정리하였다.

알칼리 프리계 급결제를 사용한 강섬유 보강 숏크리트의 성능 평가 (Performance of Steel Fiber Reinforced Shotcrete using Alkali Free Based Accelerator)

  • Modern underground and tunnel works that the wet type shotcrete is getting widely designed and applied in a large scale project. Further to its applications, the needs of improving the performance of the shotcrete, such as new and developed additives and accelerators fur increasing the performance of shotcrete, become the most important issue in the field. The main objective of this study evaluated to performance of steel fiber reinforced shotcrete using alkali free based accelerator for the durability and high quality of shotcrete. The major test variables are accelerator type and its dosage. One type silicate based accelerator and one type aluminate based accelerator and one type alkali free based accelerator were used. The dosage of accelerators is determined by the manufactures and laboratory test condition. Compressive strength test results showed that the dosage of silicate and aluminate based accelerators caused reduction of mechanical properties of shotcrete. Compressive strength of alkali free based accelerator is more stable than of silicate and aluminate based accelerators. Also, according to the compressive strength and flexural test results, it was found that steel fiber reinforced shotcrete used alkali free based accelerator could attain significant improvement in the mechanical and flexural performance.

도로 및 비탈면 유실 항구적 긴급복구를 위한 골재망 콘크리트 활용기술 개발 (Emergency and Permanent Repair Technology for Damaged Road Bases and Slopes using Gravel-Netting Concrete)

  • PURPOSES : The frequency and severity of natural disasters such as torrential rain or typhoons have become increasingly significant worldwide. Events such as summer typhoons and localized torrential downpour can cause severe damages to a residential area and road networks, resulting in serious harm to the daily lives of people, especially in rural areas by isolating residents from road networks. An immediate and emergency repair technology for the collapsed road networks is urgently needed. This study introduces a new technology to repair road bases or slopes. METHODS : The development of new technology for emergency and permanent repair consists of first, packing of cement paste-coated gravel, second, combining appropriate equipment, and third, conducting a field applicability test. In this research, the compressive strength of cement pastecoated gravel, gravel-netting concrete properties, and packing efficiency were determined, and a full scale field mock-up test was carried out. RESULTS : The compressive strength of the cement paste-coated gravel concrete satisfied the required limit for road base of 5 MPa after 7 days. With appropriate netting materials and packing size, gravel-netting concrete was successful up to a slope of 1:1.5. The full scale field mock-up test showed efficiency in the field and penetration resistance performance. CONCLUSIONS : The new technology of emergency and permanent repair for damaged road bases and slopes, introduced in this study, showed satisfactory performance. The technology is expected to be applied in the field when construction procedures and quality specifications are made.
