With the rising attention dedicated to research ethics, the responsibility of researchers to comply with research ethics is also highlighted. Among a number of research ethics obligations that researchers should abide by, an institutional review board (IRB) review is the most essential step to be taken before launching research. As the health service research field grapples with human subjects, it closely aligns with IRB deliberation. However, it seems that researchers still do not fully understand their obligations of IRB reviews. Due to the nature of health services research, there are many cases that are exempt from IRB reviews, which often elicits confusion in the research field. On that note, we aim to explore the issues regarding IRB reviews that health service researchers need to know.
This study is aimed to identify environmental management expert's competencies, to analyze educational need, and to improve curriculum of Global Environmental Management major of 'Seoul National University'. Environmental experts are divided into three groups through 'the right people' of the Global Environmental Management major: environmental management businessman, environmental management policy maker, environmental management international cooperator. This study selected three high-performers of each categories through recommendation and made them build a competency model for what the high-performer's behavioral characteristics is. And the educational needs analysis was carried out by practitioners in environmental management field. This study ordered the priority of educational needed competencies by method of Borich's proposal. The high priority of competencies that should be educated preferentially are as follows: responding to environmental policy, analyzing domestic & foreign environmental policy and design international environmental cooperation project. To be secure the consistency with the field need and university curriculum, it is needed to find various interventions in environmental management education and to improve curricula focused on specific competencies.

Eventually so as to realize the construction safety, 1 found out the cause of accident and specificities of the construction industry. This study presented to several situations and problems on construction safety. As a result of this study, the below matters must be improved for more effective the construction safety management system. 1. It need to introduce the total construction safety management system. Because there is not effectiveness in the current safety management to the first on the construction field. a. We must consider the safety in the whole parts of the process of the construction and constructors of each part must devide responsibility of the construction safety as a CDM(The Construction Designed Management) used in UK. b. It is desirable to proceed control of safety in the whole parts of the construction to introduce the total safety coordinator that can consult the matters of safety as a law accepted in EU. c. Like management of the construction safety in USA, direction of the construction safety must be made to work exactly by code or manual. d. To improve the organization of the construction safety on the construction field unefficient, it must be introduced safety supervisor, safety coordinator or institutionalization of safety consultant. 2. The law of the construction safety not only have wasteful element but also decrease efficiency by overlapping of regulation, The Ministry of Labour and The Ministry of Construction & Transportation, So laws related with safety must be instituted. a. To realize total safety management, The Ministry of Labour must legislate the basic law about safety management in whole field. b. To legislate the construction safety under one law, and improve efficiency of the overlapping of regulation and the similar law by The Ministry of Construction & Transportation. c. It must be made the law of construction safety that can proper to change of situation in construction. d. The standard of safety must be instituted belong to international level and improved by year. e. We must improve irrational regulation to realize activity of safety self regulating for progress competition in construction industry

GS E&C had developed the construction management system, PMS which is based on EVMS in 1997. Recently, TPMS has developed for effective construction management through applying daily schedule management and JIT on material, labor, equipment focusing field work. TPMS realizes "Shielding" and "Make-Ready Process" which are the main concept of Lean construction. Through this system, it can manage and plan daily field work, support the field work related material, labor, and equipment planning, and minimizes the non-valuable process. This paper introduces the concept of TPMS, and through established system, it can lead the construction culture and raise the competitive power of construction industry
This paper investigates the identity of technology management by taking a look at the evolution of the field in the United States. The discipline was established since the World War II when the big research organization was firstly formed in the country. Its focus has varied according to the role of technology in a corporation and the relation of technology and society in general. We identify three distinct stages of the field: R&D management, or project management, theoretical understanding of innovation in the 70s and 80s, and the diffusion of technology management and its education. The recent discussion on a standard curriculum of technology management illustrates the lack of a coherent identity of the field, however this phenomenon should not be considered as pathological and it demonstrates the widened interfaces between technology and society. Furthermore, it implies the possibility and need of diverse approaches in technology management.
At present, the Korean display industry lacks significantly in qualitative achievements when compared to quantitative achievements. Of course, there are various systems established according to the developments of display design organizing methods, production, and installing methods through some preceding studies related to display, but it is true that the wholistic management through display business management process which is prerequisite for this field is now considered yet. This has led to consistent and repetitive limitations, although many have undergone numerous trials and errors, along with related conflicts during implementing display business. Accordingly, organizing process and system for display business management field is the most field to be studied in order to not follow suit of the existing problems and look back on the failure factors of past display business. This study is focused on studying stage-to-stage research on organizing process and system for display business management, and aims to provide basic information for a more efficient management which can be realized during future business implementation for display culture facilities. The followings are the conclusions for this study. First, in order to successfully implement display business, the role of display business management is crucial, and the related need for display business management operations was proved. Second, the viability of 'Check-List for examining displaying product designs, production and installment' was verified, along with suggestions for additional factors to be considered in the examining check-list. Finally, third, the analyzing process of this study is focused on analyzing the facilities according to justifiable analysis factors. However, there are limitations such as corning up with subjective facts which can be known through naked eyes. Thus, the necessity for additional researches which can supplement the limitations of this study was found.
In this essay, we problematize the problematics of the KMIS SOLOMO research agenda. We propose that the SOLOMO agenda is a conditioned product of the various assumptions, biases, premises, and presuppositions that the field of IS collectively succumbs to and shares, and thus needs to be problematized to arrive at a new set of research questions for the field. The problematization begins with the ontology that underlies the agenda. We argue that the agenda is largely drawn from a dichotomic, deep ontology of Human vs. Technology. While such ontology is neither right nor wrong in its own right, we suggest it is what underlies and influences the field's whole mode of inquiry including its research agenda. We propose an alternative ontology, the Actor-Network Theory (ANT), which as a flat ontology provides a radically different set of research questions for the field. Next we take issue with the teleology of the SOLOMO agenda, and suggest that the telos of the agenda, and of the field of IS and the whole of Management discipline together, are anchored upon the capitalist episteme so that it creates a significant hole in its teleological scape. While not in any sense calling for an ideological demagogue, we propose that the field of IS should open itself to an alternative teleology including a leftist perspective. We draw upon the Critical Management Studies (CMS) to explore how further problematization can be made on the SOLOMO agenda, generating questions about its performativity, denaturalization, and reflexivity. As a result of the discussions, a list of new problematized research questions for the SOLOMO agenda is generated. In the end we state the motivation of the essay and call for a critical refurbishing of the field of IS.

The objective of this study is to develop a 3D DMFC model for modeling gas evolution and flow patterns to design optimal flow field for gas management. The gas management on the anode side is an important issue in DMFC design and it greatly influences the performance of the fuel cell. The flow field is tightly related to gas management and distribution. Since experiment for the optimal design of various flow fields is difficult and expensive due to high bipolar plate cost, computational fluid dynamics (CFD) is implemented to solve the problem. A two-fluid model was developed for CFD based flow field design. The CFD analysis is used to visualize and to analyze the flow pattern and to reduce the number of experiments. Case studies of typical flow field designs such as serpentine, zigzag, parallel and semi-serpentine type illustrate applications of the model. This study presents simulation results of velocity, pressure, methanol mole fraction and gas content distribution. The suggested model is verified to be useful for the optimal flow field design.
