Internal insulators give rise to partial discharge(PD), which cause local breakdown and even entire insulation breakdown. Treeing due to PD is one of the main causes of breakdown of the insulating materials and reduction of the insulation life. Therefore the necessity for establishing a method to diagnose the aging of insulation materials and to predict the breakdown of insulation has become important. From this viewpoint, we have studied on Electric Field dependence of tree shape in Low Density Polyethylene about treeing phenomena occurring on the high electrical field. As the result, under the reasoning that the growing of tree supposing when the inner part of tree is either dielectrec or conductor has the intermediate characteristics between dielectrec and conductor, theoretically investicated results well according with the experimental results.
A radiation dosimeter is important to assess quality assurance (QA) of radiation therapy devices and to estimate the radiation dose in vivo dosimetry. Recently, optically stimulated luminescence detector (OSLD) is widely used in clinical filed. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to evaluate dose, energy, and angular dependence of OSLD and EBT3 film. The absorbed dose in clinical linear accelerator (Linac) beam is calibrated for dose per monitor unit (MU). Dose, energy, and angular dependence of OSLD and EBT3 film are estimated after the calibration procedure. The absorbed dose is measured at 50, 100, 150, and 200 cGy in an 6 MV X-ray beam for dose dependence. A dose of 150 cGy is delivered to OSLD and EBT3 film with 6 and 10 MV photon energies for energy dependence. For measurements of angular dependence, angular positions of gantry are $0^{\circ}{\pm}80^{\circ}$ with 6 MV at 150 cGy. The results of dose dependence is linear for OSLD and EBT3 film. For the results of energy dependence, errors were 0.39% and 0.03% for OSLD and EBT3 film, respectively. The results of dose for angular is decreased from $0^{\circ}$ to ${\pm}80^{\circ}$ for both OSLD and EBT3 film. When angle of $0^{\circ}$ is normalized to 1, and the dose is decreased to 60 and 66% at $80^{\circ}$ for OSLD and EBT3 film, respectively. Dose and energy dependence of OSLD and EBT3 film are measured within the recommendation of manufacturer. Angular dependence is increased from $0^{\circ}$ to ${\pm}80^{\circ}$ for OSLD and EBT3 film. The characteristics of OSLD and EBT3 film are similar and expected to useful for clinical field.
This study investigated the influences of reciprocal peer tutoring strategy and field independencedependence in the instruction enhancing student questions by using weekly reports. Seventh graders (N=152) from a middle school were assigned to WR (weekly reports) and WR-RPT (weekly reports-reciprocal peer tutoring) groups. Students were taught about ‘three states of matter', ‘motion of molecules', and ‘change of states and thermal energy for eighteen class hours and wrote weekly reports six times for the period. The students in the WR-RPT group also conducted reciprocal peer tutoring with the questions of weekly reports which they wrote. The results revealed that the scores of the WR-RPT group were significantly higher than those of the WR group in a conception test regardless of students' field independence-dependence. The field dependent students in the WR-RPT group performed better in an achievement test than those in WR group, while there was no significant difference for the field independent stu dents between the two groups. Additionally, field independent students in each group scored significantly higher than field dependent students in the two tests. Many students, especially having more field independence in the WR-RPT group, perceived WR-RPT positively.
Using geo-statistical method, yield data of different fields were analyzed to examine their field variability according to examining year, analysis method. Semivariogram and Kriged maps of geo-statistical analysis were used to examine their spatial dependence within a filed. The results obtained were as follows. 1) Descriptive statistical results of the yield showed that the yield and the difference of yield ranged from 100 to 946kg/10a and from 272 to 653kg/10a, respectively within a field. The coefficient of variation also ranged from 5.9 to 22.4 %. 2) More than 90% of yield data were placed between 350 to 850kg/10a. e results indicated that the gram mass flow sensor should have the measuring range from 0.34 to 0.82kg/s considering the yields when 4 rows head-feeding combine with 0.8 m/s of working speed was utilized. 3) A high spatial dependence was found within paddy field. The Q values ranged from 0.20 to 0.97, and the range of spatial dependence was from 6.9 to 53.3m. From this result, the rational sampling interval for yield investigation was estimated 6.9m. 4) Yields within a field between observation years showed considerable variability even if the field was evenly cultivated and managed. To apply precision agriculture in a paddy field, the field test should be continued to build a solid data-base including meteorological data, blight damage and insect damage.
To study hopping conducting mechanism in PAN(polyacrylonitrile) carbon fiber, the temperature and frequency dependence of electrical conductivity and magnetoresistance characteristics were investigated. Electrical conductivity in the range of $60^{\circ}K-300^{\circ}K$ show VRH(variable range hopping) properties which introduced by Mott's theory, and also such properties can be explained by the frequency dependence of electrical conductivity below $5{\times}10^6$ Hz. The negative magnetoresistance observed below 35KG magnetic field, and the properties difference between M40 and T300 with increasing magnetic field is supposed due to on effect connected with crystalline state and orientation of structure.

The temperature dependence of the viscosity was determined for an electrorheological(ER) fluid consisting of 35 weight% zeolite particles in hydraulic oil 46cSt. Thermal activation analysis were performed by changing the ER fluid's temperature from -1$0^{\circ}C$ to 5$0^{\circ}C$ at fixed electric field. According to the analysis, the activation energy for flow was about 79.64kJ/mole at E=0kV/mm. Generally, the hydraulic oil 46cSt will be operated at the temperature of about 4$0^{\circ}C$, the ER fluid's electric field dependence of viscosities were investigated at this temperature. also, the influence of adding the dispersant(Carbopl 940) on electrorheological effect of the ER fluid was discussed.

InAs semiconductor nanowires can provide a promising platform to integrate superconducting quantum circuit, which exploits tunable supercurrent under the operation of gate voltage. We report temperature and magnetic field dependence of the nanowire superconducting junctions, which is in agreement with the proximity-effect theory of superconductor-normal metal-superconductor weak link. Superconducting coherence length of the InAs nanowire is estimated from the fit and magnetic-field dependence of the critical current and the subgap structure of dI/dV is discussed as well.

The Gate-Induced-Drain-Leakage (GIDL) current with channel doping and width dependence are characterized. The GIDL currents are found to increase in MOSFETs with higher channel doping levels and the observed GIDL current is generated by the band-to-band-tunneling (BTBT) of electron through the reverse-biased channel-to-drain p-n junction. A BTBT model is used to fit the measured GIDL currents under different channel-doping levels. Good agreement is obtained between the modeled results and experimental data. The increase of the GIDL current at narrower widths in mainly caused by the stronger gate field at the edge of the shallow trench isolation (STI). As channel width decreases, a larger portion of the GIDL current is generated at the channel-isolation edge. Therefore, the stronger gate field at the channel-isolation edge causes the total unit-width GIDL current to increases for narrow-width devices.

The field size can be beam output, therefore MonitorUnit can be varied due to field size dependence The purpose of this study is to evaluate and compare the dose variation according to exchange of collimator The measurements were perfomed with Wellhofer dosimetry system(water phantom. ion chamber. electrometer. system controller. build up cap. etc)and two types of linear accerlerator (Mevatron KD, MevatronMX) Scatter can be affected to field size dependence and scatter correction is separated into collimator and phantom components, scatter components can affect by exchanging of collimator Measurements of collimator scatter factor(Sc) was done in air with build up cap. 1)Square field (5cm2 to 40cm2) was measured 2)and then keeping the upper jaw constant at loom and varing lower jaw from 5cm to 40cm, 3)keeping the lower jaw constant at 10cm and varing upper jaw from 5cm to 40cm Measurements of total scatter factor(Scp) was done in water at Dmax as the procedure of collimator scatter factor measurements in water Dmax The total scatter factors were obtained to the following equation(Sp=Scp/Sc) The measured data is normalized to the data of reference field size($10{\times}10$), rectangular field is inverted to equivalent field to compare three field size data As the collimator setting is varied, the output was changed In conclusion, the error was obtained small but it must be eliminated if we intend to reach the common stated goal of $5\%$ overall uncertainty in dose determination
