Seismic resilience evaluation of RC-MRFs equipped with passive damping devices

  • The use of passive energy dissipation devices has been widely used in the construction industry to minimize the probability of damage occurred under intense ground motion. In this study, collapse margin ratio (CMR) and fragility curves are the main parameters in the assessment to characterize the collapse safety of the structures. The assessment is done on three types of RC frame structures, incorporating three types of dampers, viscoelastic, friction, and BRB dampers. The Incremental dynamic analyses (IDA) were performed by simulating an array of 20 strong ground motion (SGM) records considering both far-field and near-field seismic scenarios that were followed by fragility curves. With respect to far-field ground motion records, the CMR values of the selected frames indicate to be higher and reachable to safety margin more than those under near-field ground motion records that introduce a high devastating impact on the structures compared to far-field excitations. This implies that the near field impact affects the ground movements at the site by attenuation the direction and causing high-frequency filtration. Besides that, the results show that the viscoelastic damper gives better performance for the structures in terms of reducing the damages compared to the other energy dissipation devices during earthquakes.

  • In this thesis, the field test by truck load and the structural analysis were performed on a preflex beam bridge to investigate the load carrying capacity. From the field test and the structural analysis results, K(corrective factor) and $P_n$(load carrying capacity) of the preflex beam bridges were studied, and these factors were applied to the load carrying capacity assessment of the preflex bridges.

Also, verification business through greenhouse gas inventory construction is spreaded variously. Greenhouse gas verification proceeds by document examination, risk analysis, field survey. Document investigates emission information, calculation standard, emission report, data management system. And through risk assessment result, establish field verification plan. Through study on risk assessment of greenhouse gas inventory verification, wish to reduce risk of verification.

  • In this paper, the field test by truck load and the structural analysis were performed on a prestressed concrete beam bridge to investigate the load carrying capacity of the prestressed concrete beam bridges. From the results of the field test and the structural analysis, CAF (composite action factor), TIF(transformed impact factor), and $P_n$(load carrying capacity) of the prestressed concrete beam bridges were studied, and the load carrying capacity assessment of the prestressed concrete beam bridges were carried out using these factors.

  • 월성원자력환경센터 중저준위방사성폐기물 처분시설은 서로 다른 방식의 처분시설이 혼재하고, 월성 원자력발전소와도 인접해있다. 이와 같은 높은 복잡성으로 인해 처분시설 안전성 평가 시 보다 면밀한 현상이해가 필요하다. 기존 1단계 사일로 처분시설의 성능평가모델들에 포함된 불필요한 보수성을 줄이고 복합처분시설에 대한 보다 실제적인 성능을 파악하기 위해서는 다차원 수리/핵종이동 모델이 필요하다. 이와 함께 향후 복합처분시스템의 특성에 기인한 다양한 불확실성을 관리하고 파라미터의 중요도를 분석하기 위해 많은 계산이 필요할 것으로 예상하며, 이를 위해 보다 효율적인 성능평가 모델이 요구된다. 본 논문에서는 두 요건을 충족시키기 위해 수리성능 모델과 핵종이동 모델을 연계한 2단계 천층처분시설의 근계영역 2차원 통합성능평가 모델을 개발하였다. 수리 및 핵종이동은 PORFLOW와 GoldSim 전산 코드를 이용해 평가하였으며, GoldSim 핵종이동 모델은 PORFLOW 핵종이동 모델과의 벤치마크를 통해 검증하였다. GoldSim 모델은 계산효율이 뛰어났으며 기존의 모델에 비해 핵종이동거동을 이해하는데 용이하였다.

  • This research deals with the determination of 25 key assessment questions(KAQ) from the Baldrige criteria. It first investigates the performance of all the examination questions through real world applications. The 25 KAQs are then selected based the level of correlation between each of the questions and the overall assessment results. A set of field data are used for validating the key assessment questions in a statistical framework.

CALMET 및 ENVI-MET를 이용한 산업단지 입지에 따른 국지 바람장 분석 (An Analysis of Local Wind Field by Location of Industrial Complex using CALMET and ENVI-MET)

  • In this study, a diagnostic wind model, CALMET and a micrometeorological numerical model, ENVI-MET were used to analyze the wind field in and out of the site designated for the industrial complex around Buron-myeon, Wonju, Gangwon-do. The results of modeling with CALMET showed that the air flow in industrial complex was little affected by the surrounding terrain. And the result of wind field analysis with ENVI-MET showed there are turbulent air flows such as cavity and wake around structures in the industrial complex, which can cause high-air pollution. Therefore, it is necessary to design the industrial complex considering the wind path according to wind directions.

  • 연구목적: 이동식크레인은 높은 사망률에 기여하는 기계로 최근 6년간(2016~2021) 사고사망사례 중 건설업 2,574건을 분석한 고위험요인(SIF)정보에서 이동식크레인의 사고는 총 61건의 재해가 발생하였다. 현장의 안전대책에도 불구하고 제대로 활용이 안되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 표준 리스크 평가 지수를 제시하여 사고예방에 기여하고자 한다. 연구방법: 전문가 면담과 사망사고 사례분석, 현장실태분석, 문헌조사를 통해 위험성평가의 4M방식의 표준 리스크 평가 지수 방법을 제시하고자 한다. 연구결과: 현장 8개현장 위험성평가를 분석한 결과 재해예방에 실질적인 기여를 할 수 없다는 결론을 얻었으며, 표준 리스크 평가 지수 방식의 개선방안으로 적용하여야 한다. 결론: 건설현장에서 표준 리스크 평가 지수방식으로 전환함으로써 안전보건관계자 및 근로자가 쉽게 이용할 수 있고 재해감소에 기여할 수 있을 것으로 제안한다.

평생교육실습 프로그램의 운영실태 및 평생교육사 직무모델에 기반한 요구도 분석 (Survey of Lifelong Education Field Training Programs and Need Assessment Based on Job Model)

  • This study was designed to analyze the present condition of the lifelong education field training program and to implement the need assessment of field training program based on the job model application. In order to achieve these goals, surveys were conducted through questionnaires and in-depth interviews targeting staffs of lifelong education institution in Busan area. The 115 subjects were analyzed by frequency distribution, the paired samples t-test, and the Borich's need analysis. The result showed that the field training program was poorly executed during the year of 2013 due to deficiency of certified practitioners and systematic guidelines. Also, the most highly demanded tasks were promoting change, networking, planning, developing programs and conducting surveys among various roles of lifelong educators. On the other hand, the need for the assisting and supporting programs were relatively low. Finally, this study concluded the need for developing systematic guidelines and for accrediting as a lifelong education field training institution nationwide. The results of this study would ultimately contribute to enhance the quality of lifelong education field training program.

협동로봇 설치작업장 위험성평가 방법 개발 및 규제 대응 (Development of Risk Assessment Method for Cobot Workplace and Regulation Response)

  • Cobots are industrial robots with greatly enhanced safety functions that enable them to work in the same space with workers without protector. Cobots are regulated by the Industrial Safety and Health Act and must be certified according to the manufacturing stage, installation stage and usage stage. The ISO 10218-2 standard applied in the installation phase is difficult to apply in the field. Therefore, it is necessary to develop a risk assessment method based on ISO 12100 standard. This paper proposes a new methodology that combines 'JSA' and 'What-if', which reflects the human error and the lack of known risk factors. Accordingly, a new risk assessment template was proposed and the effectiveness of the developed new template was examined. The current cobot safety regulations need to be unified with safety inspections scheme, and robot safety experts and infrastructures need to be expanded and Robot safety regulations should be unified to 'Robot Act'. Based on this research, risk assessment methods suitable for the field need to be developed additionally, and robot safety regulation needs to be transformed to promote the industry.
