In the high speed analog system satellite communication system, video signal processing and optical fiber interface circuits, GaAs high gain operational amplifier is advantageous due to obtain a high gain because of its low transconductance and other drawbacks, such as low frequency dispersion and process variation. Therefore in this paper, a circuit techniques for improving the voltage gain for GaAs MESFET amplifier is presented. Also, various types of existing current mirror and current mirror proposed are compared. To obtain the high differential gain, bootstrap gain enhancement technique is used and common mode feedback is employed in differential amplifier. The simulation results show that gain is higher than that of basic amplifier about 18.6dB, and stability and frequency performance of differential amplifier are much improved.

This study is to examine a change of quality and a material performance of fiber reinforced cement composite for mass production. It is necessary to make Strain-hardening cementitious composite(SHCC) by batcher plant for ready-mixed concrete and use the performance of SHCC which made based on laboratory level. This study makes a comparative performance of press and mechanics that is the property of Strain-hardening by direct tension. In case of making by batcher plant. This experiment has demonstrated that even if it takes long after being mixed small and compared with the one which made based on laboratory, it has a tendency to be dissatisfied with fiver's dispersion and lower its performance of Strain-hardening. The reason why the material performance of SHCC for mass production went down is through SHCC that mixed sometimes matrix's viscosity and fiber's dispersion.

Oil-based nanofluids were prepared by dispersing spherical and fiber shaped $Al_2O_3$ and AlN nanoparticles in transformer oil. Two hydrophobic surface modification processes using oleic acid (OA) and polyoxyethylene alkyl acid ester (PAAE) were compared in this study. The dispersion stability, viscosity and breakdown voltage of the nanofluids were also characterized. $(Al_2O_3+AlN)$ mixed nanofluid was prepared to take an advantage of the excellent thermal conductivity of AlN and a good convective heat transfer property of fiber shaped $Al_2O_3$. For $(Al_2O_3+AlN)$ particles with 1 % volume fraction in oil, the enhancement of thermal conductivity and convective heat transfer coefficient was nearly 11 % and 30 %, respectively, compared to pure transformer oil. The nanofluid, containing $Al_2O_3+AlN$, successfully lowered the temperature of the heating element and oil itself during a natural convection test using a prototype transformer.
Carbon nanotubes (CNTs) are one of the nanomaterials that were discovered by Iijima in 1991 for the first time. CNTs have long cylindrical and axi-symmetric structures. CNTs are made by rolling graphene sheets. Because of their large length-to-diameter ratio, they are called nanotubes. CNTs are categorized as single-walled carbon nanotubes (SWCNTs) or multi-walled carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs) based on the shell structures. CNTs are broadly used in various fields, such as scanning probe microscopy, ultra fine nano balance and medicine, due to their extraordinary thermal conductivity, electrical and mechanical properties. Because long, straight CNTs have the same shape as asbestos, which cause cancer in cells lining the lung, there have been many studies on the effects of MWCNTs on human health that have been conducted. Stable atomization of CNTs is very important for the estimation of inhalation toxicity. In the present study, electro-static assisted axial atomizer (EAAA), which is the instrument that uses MWCNTs and aerosolizes them by transforming the single fiber shape using ultrasonic dispersion and electric field, was invented. EAAA consists of a ultrasonic bath for dispersion of MWCNTs and a particle generator for atomizing single fibers. The performance evaluation was conducted in order to assess the possibilities of 6-hour straight atomization with stability, which is the suggested exposure time in a day for the estimation of inhalation toxicity.
In this paper, the optimum position of optical phase conjugator (OPC) and the optimal dispersion coefficients of fiber sections in $16{\times}40$ Gbps WDM system with non zero - dispersion shifted fiber (NZ-DSF) of 1,000 km are induced, in order to expand the availability of mid-span spectral inversion (MSSI) technique in long-haul multi-channel transmission systems. It is confirmed that the compensation degrees of overall WDM channels are more improved by applying the induced optimal parameters into WDM system than those in WDM system with the conventional MSSI. So it is expected that the proposed optimal parameters should alternate with the forming method of the symmetrical distributions of optical power and local dispersion with respect to OPC, which generate a serious problem in the applying OPC into multi-channels WDM system if it is not formed. It will be possible to realize the flexible system design by applying the methods proposed in this paper into the real WDM system with OPC.

In this paper, optimal position of optical phase conjugator (OPC) for best compensating distorted WDM channels due to both chromatic dispersion and self phase modulation (SPM) in $8{\times}40$ Gbps WDM systems is numerically investigated, and the eye opening penalty (EOP) and bit error rate (BER) characteristics of overall WDM channels at this position is investigated, comparing with that in case of OPC placed at mid-way of total transmission length. It is confirmed that the compensation extents in WDM system with OPC is more improved by the shifting OPC position from the mid-way of total transmission length, depending on the modulation format and fiber dispersion coefficient. Ant it is confirmed that, from a viewpoint of the reception performance, EOP of each channel is more or less different with one another, but the BER characteristics of overall channels are almost equal.
Composite materials are created by combining two or more component to achieve desired properties which could not be obtained with the separate components. The use of reinforcing fillers, which can reduce material costs and improve certain properties, is increasing in thermoplastic polymer composites. Currently, various inorganic fillers such as talc, mica, clay, glass fiber and calcium carbonate are being incorporated into thermoplastic composites. Nevertheless, lignocellulose fibers have drawn attention due to their abundant availability, low cost and renewable nature. In recent, interest has grown in composites made from lignocellulose fiber in thermoplastic polymer matrices, particularly for low cost/high volume applications. In addition to high specific properties, lignocellulose fibers offer a number of benefits for lignocellulose fiber/thermoplastic polymer composites. These include low hardness, which minimize abrasion of the equipment during processing, relatively low density, biodegradability, and low cost on a unit-volume basis. In spite of the advantage mentioned above, the use of lignocellulose fibers in thermoplastic polymer composites has been plagued by difficulties in obtaining good dispersion and strong interfacial adhesion because lignocellulose fiber is hydrophilic and thermoplastic polymer is hydrophobic. The application of lignocellulose fibers as reinforcements in composite materials requires, just as for glass-fiber reinforced composites, a strong adhesion between the fiber and the matrix regardless of whether a traditional polymer matrix, a biodegradable polymer matrix or cement is used. Further this article gives a survey about physical and chemical treatment methods which improve the fiber matrix adhesion, their results and effects on the physical properties of composites. Coupling agents in lignocellulose fiber and polymer composites play a very important role in improving the compatibility and adhesion between polar lignocellulose fiber and non-polar polymeric matrices. In this article, we also review various kinds of coupling agent and interfacial mechanism or phenomena between lignocellulose fiber and thermoplastic polymer.
A configuration for radio-over-fiber transmission, with remote LO delivery from the central office, and a simple, cost-effective, base station solution is proposed. It is shown that using practically available components, and even with a fiber dispersion of 17 ㎰/nm/km, it is possible to transmit, without repeaters, bit rates of up to 622 Mbit/s for about 20 km at a bit-error rate of 10$\^$-9/, with 0㏈m laser power and a modest optical gain of 6㏈. By increasing the optical gain to 25 ㏈, the link length can be increased to ∼80 km.

An optical transmitter was designed and implemented using a commercially available LiNbO$_{3}$ Mach-Zehnder modulator and the power amplifiers. We have adopted a new method to stabilize the bias voltage of the modulator using the second order harmonic component of the dithering signal. This technique has been applied successfully to the 2.5 Gbit/s external modulator for more than 6 hours without bit error rate degradaton. We demonstrated a repeaterless transmission of a 2.5 Gbit/s signal over 150 km nondispersion-shifted fiber using the transmitter. The receiver sensitivity was -34.5 dBm at 10$_{-10}$ bit error rate. No appreciable BER degradation due to fiber dispersion were observed after transmission.

Polypropylene fiber was dyed with 4 super hydrophobic dyes having different alkyl derivatives on the same chromophore. Double-tailed cationic surfactant, didodecyldimethylammonium bromide(DDAB), was used to make dye-dispersant complex to improve the dispersion of dyes. As the alkyl groups are longer and the hydrophobicity is increased, the dyeability onto polypropylene fiber was improved and deep coloration was obtained. As for the fastness properties, wash fastness was relatively good, while light fastness was bit low.
