In a commercial facsimile network system, a simulation analysis has been performed using ARENA due to the unavailability of theoretical models. The effect of a priority is compared with that of the current FCFS rule on the arriving call blocking rate and transmission time delay. The result shows that the priority rule reduces more service time delay as the arrival rate increases. A simulation analysis procedure is proposed to select optimal in/out port ratio at various hourly arrival rates with a given multiple-place transmission requests ratio.

본 연구에서는 수주생산방식의 기업환경에서 수주처리를 위해 기존의 fax 또는 VAN에 의한 방법을 Web 기반으로 하는 판매자 중심의 기업간 전자상거래 시스템 구축 방안을 제사한다. 또한 기존의 off-line 상에서 수주를 얻기 위해 발생하는 각각의 문제점을 정의하고, 이를 해결하기 위한 방안을 본 연구를 통해 제시한다. Web 기반의 주문처리 방안을 적용하기 위해 수주생산방식의 제조환경을 가진 H사의 flange 제품을 대상으로 프로토타입 시스템(prototype system)을 구현한다. 본 연구에서는 제시된 기업간 전자상거래시스템을 이용한 수주처리 업무의 효율성을 보여주며, 고객의 기업 신뢰도 향상에 의한 경쟁력 향상에 기여하고자 한다.

In case user uses e-mail, SIP, internet FAX etc., the user possess as many addresses as services. ENUM is attracting interests which can approach various internet information resources. CTI는 업무용 컴퓨터의 능력을 공중전화망까지 확대시켜 주는 하드웨어와 소프트웨어의 결합이다. 그리고 이 기술은 아주 작은 사무실까지도 새로운 차원의 생산성을 향상시켜 줄 것으로 기대되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 CTI 기술을 중소규모 기업이나 가정에서 사용할 수 있는 모듈을 개발하여 Single-Box 개념으로 다중 장비 통합구성을 하고, 팩스 송수신(TTF:Text To Fax) 기능을 사용할 수 있는 환경을 구축한다.

중소기업중앙회는 지난 9월 22일에서 26일까지 '중소제조업 생존전략에 관한 CEO 의견조사'를 실시했다. 이번 조사는 20인 이상을 고용하고 있는 전국의 중소제조업 CEO를 대상으로 Web 및 Fax를 통해 실시했으며, 총 433개 업체의 CEO들이 설문에 응했다. 설문 응답업체의 기업 경영 20년 미만(응답자의 82.6%), 소기업(응답자의 60.7%), 가공조립 산업(응답자의 58.4%), 전통제조업(응답자의 85.2%), 내수위주(75.1%)의 제조업 CEO 들이 주로 설문에 응답했다.

This study has been surveyed the establishment and operation of nature observation facilities in the urban ecological open space of Eastern Area, Japan. Major nature observation facilities were visitor centers, nature trails and environmental facilities of nature trail. Also, interpretation as an approach to communicating and understanding of nature was progressed variously in study sites. Interpreters were park rangers and naturalists and volunteers. Major activities of the volunteers were the interpretation, environmental management and monitoring, and communication paper publication. The education materials for self-guiding of ecological open space were from two types to four types. In the advertisement methods, the advertisement through the notice paper of metropolitan, city, and destrict was the most and internet homepage, electronic communication bullentin of district, cable TV, and fax service were utilized in the four survey sites.

The purpose of this study is to induce a librarian to construct databases lawfully and the user with a copyright and the fair use. Based on information from web sites, the domestic medical libraries(32) were investigated for analyzing how to deal with copyright problems. The results show that only 28% of the medical libraries provide users with information on copyright at their web site. The terminology used was different among libraries. 44.4% of the libraries use 'copyright law' and 33.3% 'copyright' The terminology appeared at the 'notice' menu and 'library guidance' menu. The detail part of copyright contents was shown at 'the data copy and transmission', 'full text DB use', 'thesis and dissertation service', 'FAX/file transfer', 'Image(Ariel)', and 'interlibrary loan'. In general, there was a necessity to the correct understanding of the copyright and fair use.

The existence communications of vessel focused on voice, FAX, ISDN, etc. using satellite on the existent most communications on the ships, and recently, the ships need high quality smart communication service environments. In the results of experiments using the existent system, it could access on board, but in the closed room of vessel, was impossible to access e-mail and smart apps except voice communication. In the present paper, we implemented a novel communication system that can access voice, text, e-mail, file, vessel monitoring apps, etc. It consists of a convergent communication terminal combined with satellite and communication for Smartphone, and smart communication environment on the closed room. As the results, we can access a variety of smart communication in anywhere on board.
