  • A method for the non-destructive detection of damage using parameterized partial differential equations and Galerkin approximation techniques is presented. This method provides the theoretical and experimental verification of a nondestructive time domain approach to examine structural damage in smart structure. The time histories of the vibration response of structure were used to identify the presence of damage. Damage in a structure causes changes in the physical coefficients of mass density, elastic modulus and damping coefficient.   • In this paper we deal with the APARP theory which has been applied for UK railway system and risk assessment method which has been using in the domestic railway system for the safety demonstration. Both techniques are applied to the ATP wayside equipment for interface. Also, fur the applications of each techniques a analysis of the safety activity and a possibility of the application of ALARP theory are evaluated. Finally, we generate requirements of the safety demonstration for the future domestic railway system by way of the analysis of some assumptions and requirement data which can be applied to the risk assessment of ALARP.

  • In this paper we present a safety plan to be applied to the development of the TCS(Train Control System). The safety plan that can be applied to the life cycle of a system, from the conceptual design to the dismantlement, shows the whole process of the paper work in detail through the establishment of a goal, analysis and assessment, the verification. In this paper we study about the making a plan, the preliminary hazard analysis, the hazard identification and analysis to guarantee the safety of the TCS. The process far the verification of the system safety is divided into several steps based on the target system and the approaching method. The guarantee of the system safety and the improvement of the system reliability is fellowed by the recommendation of the international standards.

이동구간 최적 제어에 의한 전력계통 안정화의 분산제어 접근 방법 (A Decentralized Approach to Power System Stabilization by Artificial Neural Network Based Receding Horizon Optimal Control)

  • This study considers an implementation of artificial neural networks to the receding horizon optimal control and is applications to power systems. The Generalized Backpropagation-Through-Time (GBTT) algorithm is presented to deal with a quadratic cost function defined in a finite-time horizon. A decentralized approach is used to control the complex global system with simpler local controllers that need only local information. A Neural network based Receding horizon Optimal Control (NROC) 1aw is derived for the local nonlinear systems. The proposed NROC scheme is implemented with two artificial neural networks, Identification Neural Network (IDNN) and Optimal Control Neural Network (OCNN). The proposed NROC is applied to a power system to improve the damping of the low-frequency oscillation. The simulation results show that the NROC based power system stabilizer performs well with good damping for different loading conditions and fault types.

  • In this paper, we propose a human model for analysing the human work pattern or human fault, where a gantry crane simulator is used to survey the property cf human operation From the input and output cf gantry crane response, we make a human operation model by using conventional ARX identification method To identify the human model, we assume the eight inputs and two outputs. By using the achieved input/output data, we estimate the parameters of ARX for the human work model. To verify the proposed method, we compared the real data with the modeled data, where three kinds of work trajectory path are used.

  • To secure a service continuity is one of the most important mission in the ower distribution system operation. In this paper the necessary and sufficient condition to guarantee 100% service restoration capability for any fault on the system is reported. An evaluation methodology of the restoration capability(or restorability) is developed based on the developed restoration conditions. Applications of the developed concept to the system operation in the normal and emergency states, that would enhance the supply reliability of the system are described. They include enhancement of restoration capability adapting to load change, identification of best open switch and supervised switch positions.

  • 계통에 대한 정보, 즉 구간의 부하 상태, 차단기 및 스위치들의 현 개폐상태, 그리고 고장 검출기 동작상태 등은 통신망을 통하여 중앙 제어소로 전송되어지며 계통운용의 책임을 지고 있는 오퍼레이터(operator)는 이들 정보를 근거로 하여 계통의 현 상황을 파악하여 적절한 조치를 취하게 된다. 좀 더 자세히 말하면, 먼저 고장이 발생하지 않은 평상시(normal state)에는 계통의 부하 상태를 감시하여 운전손실 및 전압강하를 최소화 하는 계통으로의 변경을 원격조정 스위치 조작을 통하여 쉽고도 신속하게 실행시킴으로써 보다 효율적이고 경제적인 계통운전을 이룩할 수 있게 될 것이다. 또한 선로에 고장이 발생했을 경우, 변전소 차단기가 트립되기 전의 고장전류를 경험하게 되는 위치에 있는 스위치의 고장 검출요소(FD)가 동작하게 되며, 이러한 고장 검출기 동작상태, 스위치들의 현 개폐 상태 및 차단기의 트립 정보등은 중앙 제어소로 전송되어지며 오퍼레이터는 이들 정보로부터 고장구간을 판별하여 원격 조정 스위칭을 통하여 고장구간을 신속히 분리시키고, 정전구역에 대하여 운전 제약 조건을 위반하지 않는 복구계획을 수립하여 실행함으로써 보다 빠른 고장 위치 판단과 사고복구를 실현할 수 있으며 수용가의 공급 지장 시간을 최대한도로 줄여 배전 계통의 공급신뢰도를 높일 수 있다. 고장 발생시 이와 같은 일련의 과정은 크게 고장 구간 판별(Fault Location Identification) 및 정전 복구(Service Restoration)로 나눌 수 있으며 각각에 대하여 다음에 기술한다.

  • RFID(Radio Frequency Identification) 시스템은 다양한 분야에서 혁신을 제공하는 기술로써 관심의 대상이 되고 있으며 여러 분야에서 RFID 기술을 도일하기 위해 연구되고 있다. 특히 많은 사업 분야에서 RFID 기술을 이용하기 위해 연구가 이루어지고 있다. RFID 시스템의 특성상 다양한 도메인에서 이용되기 때문에 여러 가지 장애가 발생하게 된다. 하지만 이렇게 발생한 다양한 장애들을 탐지하고 진단하는 일은 쉽지 않다. 본 논문에서는 다양한 도메인에서 이용되는 RFID 미들웨어 시스템의 특성을 고려하여 RFID 미들웨어 시스템에 적합한 장애 탐지 기법과 장애 진단 기법을 제시한다.
