  • This paper presents an integrated fault diagnosis algorithm for driving motor of In-wheel independent drive electric vehicle. Especially, this paper proposes a method that integrated the high level fault diagnosis and the low level fault diagnosis in order to improve a robustness and performance of the fault diagnosis system. The high level fault diagnosis is performed using the vehicle dynamics analysis and the low level fault diagnosis is carried using the motor system analysis. The validity of the high level fault diagnosis algorithms was verified through $Carsim^{(R)}$ and MATLAB/$Simulink^{(R)}$ cosimulation and the low level fault diagnosis's validity was shown by applying it to a MATLAB/$Simulink^{(R)}$ interior permanent magnet synchronous motor control system. Finally, this paper presents a fault diagnosis strategy by combining the high level fault diagnosis and the low level fault diagnosis.

  • 폴트 트리 분석(Fault Tree Analysis)은 산업계에서 가장 널리 사용되는 안전성 분석 기법 중의 하나이다. 하지만, 이 기법은 보통 수작업으로 이루어지며, 분석 결과를 체계적이고 자동적으로 검증할 수 있는 방법이 없다는 약점을 지닌다. 본 논문에서는 실시간 모델 체커인 UPPAAL을 이용하여 안전성이 중요한 소프트웨어의 요구 사항들을 정형 명세하고, 수작업으로 찬성된 폴트 트리의 정확성을 검증하는 방법을 제안하고 있다. 제안된 방법을 유용성을 확인하기 위해서 월성 원자력 발전소의 비상 정지 소프트웨어(Wolsung SDS2)에서 사용된 기능 요구 사항들을 예제로서 사용하였다. 폴트 트리는 월성 SDS2에 대한 전문적인 지식을 지니고 폴트 트리를 이용한 안전성 분석을 여러 번 수행해 본 경험이 있는 대학원생들에 의해 작성되었다. 기능 요구 사항들은 UPPAAL의 입력으로서 사용되기 위해서 시제 오토마타의 형태로 수작업으로 변환되었으며, 이 폴트 트리의 정확성을 검증하기 위해서 모델 체킹을 사용하였다 본 논문에서 제안된 방법을 월성 SDS2 예제에 적용해 본 결과, 수작업으로 작성된 폴트 트리에 존재하는 오류를 찾을 수 있었으며, 이러한 작업을 통하여 제안된 방법이 폴트 트리 분석에 대한 신뢰도를 높이는데 유용함을 발견하였다.

  • There is few study which automatically diagnoses the fault from ship's monitored data. The bigger control and monitoring system is. the more important fault diagnosis and maintenance is to reduce damage caused by system fault. This paper proposes fault diagnosis system using a correlation analysis algorithm which is able to diagnose and forecast the fault from monitored data and is composed of fault detection knowledge base and fault diagnosis knowledge base. For all kinds of ship's engine room monitored data are classified with combustion subsystem, heat exchange subsystem and electric motor and pump subsystem, To verify capability of fault detection, diagnosis and prediction, FMS(Fault Management System) is developed by C++. Simulation by FMS is carried out with population data set made by the log book data of 2 months duration from a large full container ship of H shipping company.

  • There is few study which automatically diagnose the fault from ship's monitored signal. The bigger control and monitoring system is, the more important fault diagnosis and maintenance is to reduce damage brought forth by system fault. This paper proposes fault diagnosis system using a correlation analysis algorithm which is able to diagnose and forecast the fault and is composed to fault detection knowledge base and fault diagnosis knowledge base. For this all kinds of ship's engine room monitored data are classified with combustion subsystem, heat exchange subsystem and electric motor and pump subsystem by analyzing ship's operation data. To verifying capability of fault detection, diagnosis and prediction, Fault Management System(FMS) is developed by C++. Simulation experiment by FMS is carried out with population data set made by log book data of 2 months duration from a large full container ship of H shipping company.

  • Electrical fires have been occurred continuously in spite of installing ELB. Therefore the concern with the electrical arc-fault that cause the fire has growing. This paper measured series arc fault currents by the method of arc generator test in UL standard 1699. The used analysis methods in this paper are three different ways using DWT(discrete wavelet transform) those are frequently used for the arc fault current signal analysis. The arc fault detection probability is 100 % by method using noise-energy/shoulder-duration ratio of approximation coefficient. As these results, the variation of noise-energy and shoulder-duration ratio of approximation coefficient are founded important factors for the analysis of arc fault.

  • This paper analyzes fault tolerance under a stator turn fault, according to the winding configuration. Improvement of torque characteristics and fault tolerance can be achieved by winding configuration without additional methods. And, torque characteristics and fault tolerance according to the winding configuration can be usually analyzed by analytical method. But, when the stator turn fault generates, compare to the steady-state, analysis of torque characteristics and fault tolerance using the analytical method is not accurate because it does not reflect influence in mutual inductance and magnetic non-linearity. Therefore, analysis of torque characteristics and fault tolerance has to be performed by using the numerical method under fault condition. This paper develops fault characteristics according to the winding configuration using the FEM-base model considered magnetic non-linearity. And, this paper suggests fault tolerance improvement according to the winding configuration, by the comparison of 8/12 and 10/12 models, under fault condition.

  • This paper analyzes impedance convergence characteristics and harmonics of electric locomotives operation and fault condition. To simulate the various fault and operation condition, AT feeding system and various locomotives are modeled using PSCAD/EMTDC. Analysis shows that impedance are converged into protection area in the case of short fault between catenary and rail or catenary and feeder line but in the case of disconnection fault, impedance is rater bigger so protective relay can't detect the fault. Therefore more analysis of overload and high impedance fault caused disconnection fault is needed.

  • 최근 정보통신기술의 발전으로 교육훈련 현장에는 전자 교수학습 시스템(e-teaching and learning system) 에 대한 사용이 급증하고 있다. 또한 무선 이동통신기술과 멀티미디어 처리 기술의 발전에 따라 언제 어디서나 양질의 교육 및 훈련 콘텐츠에 쉽게 접근할 수 있게 되었고, 개인 맞춤형의 교수학습 서비스 시스템도 등장하고 있다. 많은 전자 교수학습 시스템들이 개발됨에 따라 이의 보안성(security) 역시 중요한 이슈로 떠오르고 있다. 전자 교수학습 시스템들과 같은 정보 서비스 시스템의 보안성을 평가하기 위한 여러 가지 결함 분석 기법들이 있다. 그러나 융합IT 기술이 확대 발전함에 따라 정보 서비스 시스템의 종류와 특성이 다양해지면서 단지 하나의 시스템 보안성 평가 방법으로는 적절한 분석이 이루어 질 수 없다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 정보 서비스 시스템의 보안성을 평가하기 위해서 결함 트리 분석(Fault Tree Analysis; FTA)기법과 고장모드별 영향 분석(Fault Modes and Effect Analysis; FMEA)기법의 두 가지의 분석 기법을 통합하여 사용함으로서 전자 교수학습 시스템의 결함 분석을 수행하고 보안성을 개선하는 방법을 제안한다.

고장파급 시나리오에 기초한 광역정전 해석기법 연구 (Analysis of Power System Wide-Area Blackout based on the Fault Cascading Scenarios)

  • This paper presents a novel framework for analysis of power system wide-area blackout based on so called fault cascading scenarios. For a given power system operating state, "triggering" faults or a "seed faults" are chosen based on the probabilities estimated from the hazard rates. The fault probabilities reflect both the load and the weather conditions. Effects of hidden failures in protection systems are also reflected in establishing the fault propagation scenarios since they are one of the major causes for the wide-area blackouts. A tree type data structure called a PS-BEST(Power System Blackout Event Scenario Tree) is proposed for construction of the fault cascading scenarios, in which nodes represent various power system operating states and the arcs are the events causing transitions between the states. Arcs can be either probabilistic or deterministic. For a given initial fault, the total probability of leading to wide-area blackout is estimated by aggregating the individual probability of each fault sequence route leading to wide-area blackout. A case study is performed on the IEEE RTS-79(24 bus) system based on the fault data presented by the North American Electrical Reliability Council(NERC). Test results demonstrate the potentials and the effectiveness of the proposed technique for the future wide-area blackout analysis.

연동해석을 통한 영구자석 동기전동기의 오프라인 Inter-Turn 고장진단법 (A Method for Offline Inter-Turn Fault Diagnosis of Interior Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor through the Co-Analysis)

  • In this paper, inter-turn fault diagnosis of the interior permanent magnet synchronous motor (IPMSM) is performed in offline state by linking the finite element analysis (FEA) tool and control simulation tool. In order to diagnose the inter-turn fault, it is important to select the current value to determine the fault. First, the basic principles for inter-turn fault diagnosis of IPMSM are explained and co-analysis model for fault diagnosis is constructed. Further, in order to select the appropriate high frequency voltage, the change of the current value to be judged as failure was analyzed at various voltage and frequency conditions, and the change of the current value according to the number of the failed windings was analyzed. Finally, the current value to be judged as failure is selected.
