변압기결선에 따른 풍력발전시스템의 고장전류에 대한 시뮬레이션 (Simulation for fault current of wind turbine generating system following transformer winding connection)

  • This study suggests a modeling of grid-connected wind turbine generation system that has induction generator, and aims to perform simulations for outputs by the variation of actual wind speed and for fault current of wind generation system by the transformer winding connection. This study is implemented by MARTLB & SIMULINK. The simulation shall be performed by assuming single line to ground fault generated in the system Generator power, rotor speed, terminal voltage, system voltage, and fault current shall be observed following the performance of simulation. The fault current change will be dealt through the simulation results for fault current of wind generation system following the grid-connected transformer winding connection and the simulation result by the transformer neutral ground method.

2 자유도 동조자이로 직교배치에 대한 고장검출기법 연구 (Study of Fault Detection Method for Two-Degree of Freedom Dynamically Tuned Gyros on Orthogonal Configuration)

  • 본 논문에서는 2축 자유도를 갖는 동조자이로 3개가 직교배치를 이루고 있는 관성항법 장치의 관성센서 고장검출기법에 대해 다루었다. 특히 동조자이로 고장특성을 고려하여 동조자이로 입력 축에 대한 고장 판단보다는 자이로 단위의 고장 판단을 수행하였으며, 보다 신뢰성 있는 고장 판단을 위해 검출할 고장 크기에 따른 개별 고장검출 모듈을 설정하였다. 큰 고장 감지는 현재 순간의 관성센서 정보만을 이용하는 방법을 이용하여 짧은 시간내에 고장판단이 가능하도록 하였으며, 작은 고장감지는 과거부터 현재까지 누적된 정보를 순차적으로 사용하여 고장판단에 소요되는 시간은 다소 길지만 보다 신뢰성 있는 고장정보를 제공하도록 하였다. 동조자이로 고장특성 및 고장 크기에 따른 개별 고장검출 모듈을 통해 성공적인 관성센서 고장검출이 가능함을 확인할 수 있었다.

  • In this paper, an algorithm of fault detection and diagnosis during operation of induction motors under the condition of various loads and rates is investigated. For this purpose, the spectrum pattern of input currents is used in monitoring the state of induction motors, and by clustering the spectrum pattern of input currents, the newly occurrence of spectrum patterns caused by faults are detected. For the diagnosis of the fault detected, a fuzzy fault tree is designed, and the fuzzy relation equation representing the relation between an induction motor fault and each fault type, is solved. The solution of the fuzzy relation equation shows the possibility of occurence of each fault. The results obtained are summarized as follows : (1) Using clustering algorithm by unsupervised learning, an on-line fault detection method unaffected by the characteristics of loads and rates is implemented, and the degree of dependency for experts during fault detection is reduced. (2) With the fuzzy fault tree, the fault diagnosis process become systematic and expandable to the whole system, and the diagnosis for sub-systems can be made as an object-oriented module.

미국 자동차보험에 있어서 무과실보험의 중재에 관한 고찰 - 미국 뉴욕주를 중심으로 - (A Study on No-Fault Arbitration in U.S.'s Automobile Insurance - Focus on the Case of New York State -)

  • No-fault automobile insurance system is a statutory scheme to provide automobile accident victims with compensation for certain expenses arising from personal injuries occurring in car accidents. New York State has enacted No-Fault Law to ensure that the injured in automobile accidents be paid rapidly by their own insurance company for medical expenses, lost earnings regardless of fault, replacing common law system of reparation for personal injuries under tort law. Its primary purpose is to facilitate compensation without the need to exhaust time-consuming litigation over establishing the existence of fault and the extent of damages. No-Fault Law allows arbitration as a method for settling the no-fault insurance disputes. No-fault arbitration, however, differs in a significant way from general arbitration system. First, No-Fault Law provides the parties with the option to submit any dispute involving no-fault automobile insurance to arbitration. Second, no-fault arbitration attempts to speed its procedure incorporating various methods. Third, the parties are required to seek review of arbitral awards by master arbitrator prior to seeking court's review. Fourth, the parties have right to bring de novo action in court if master arbitrator's award exceeds $5,000. Given the current state of law in Korea, it may not be easy to introduce no-fault arbitration system into Korea in the context of automobile insurance disputes settlement as its law has a long-established reparation system based on tort liability and no-fault arbitration system has its own features that differ from general arbitration system. Nonetheless, it could be suggested that no-fault arbitration be introduced in other fields which require speedy dispute resolution and a third party's decision to settle the disputes. The optional right of submitting disputes to arbitration as provided by No-Fault Law of New York State may offer a ground to supprot the effectiveness of an optional arbitration agreement.

무인이동체 산업의 실제 고장사례에 대한 영향성 분석 및 고장대응기술 적용방안 (Influence Analysis of Actual Fault Cases in Unmanned Vehicle Industry and Study on Fault Tolerant Technology)

  • 본 논문은 2020년에 실시한 무인이동체 산업실태조사의 드론 고장 발생현황에 대한 설문내용을 분석하여 산업계에서의 고장대응기술의 활용성에 대해 논하고자 한다. 먼저, 국내 무인이동체 산업실태조사 결과를 기반으로 고장률이 높고, 고장 발생 시 심각도가 높은 하위시스템(Subsystem)을 파악한다. 또한 공중 무인이동체를 대상으로 고장률이 높은 부품에 대한 고장 시뮬레이션을 수행한다. 이를 통해 고장이 무인이동체에 미치는 영향에 대해 분석한다. 이후 현재까지 연구된 고장진단 및 고장대응 기법과 연구사례를 소개하며, 무인이동체 산업의 실 고장사례에 적용하기 위한 방안에 대해 논의한다. 나아가 앞서 논의한 내용을 기반으로 고장대응체계를 제시하고, 산업계에서 고장대응체계 설계 시에 고려해야 할 사항에 대해 살펴본다.

  • This paper deals with a fault detection system design for uncertain nonlinear systems modelled as T-S fuzzy systems with the integral quadratic constraints. In order to generate a residual signal, we used a left coprime factorization of the T-S fuzzy system. From the filtered signal of the residual generator, the fault occurence can be detected effectively. A simulation study with nuclear steam generator level control system shows that the suggested method can be applied to detect the fault in actual applications.

  • This paper describes the fault location technique using wavelets in transmisson line. Estimation of fault location is performed using synchronized data sampled at two ends of line and travelling wave. The similar current wave modeled in PSCAD/EMTDC and MATLAB was applied to evaluate the accuracy of theory proposed in this paper. The results of fault location shown in this paper will be evaluated as an effective suggestion for fault location in real transmisson line

  • Siting criteria for nuclear power plants require that faults be characterized as to their potential for generating earthquakes, or that the absence of the potential for these occurrences be demonstrated. Because the definition of active faults in Korea has been applied by the deterministic method, which depends on the numerical age of fault movement, the possibility of inherent uncertainties exists in determining the maximum earthquake from the fault sources for seismic design. In an attempt to overcome these problems this study suggests new criteria and a probabilistic quantitative diagnostic procedure that could estimate whether a fault is capable of generating earthquakes in the near future.

  • This paper is to discuss the hardware redundancy architecture of fault-tolerance system with using redundancy. Each architecture will be studied to implement fault-tolerance in classifying hardware redundancy architecture as passive, active and hybrid hardware redundancy. Therefore Fault-Masking and Fault-Detecting Techniques in each redundancy architecture is studied.

  • The safe operation of electro railways is greatly dependant on its protective systems. The system so-called Fault Protection Wire(FW) is now widely adapted to protect in AT feeding systems. It is connected between the feeder and trolley circuit to return the fault current to autotransfonmers at substation. This paper computed the distribution of fault currents at FW in the system and also evaluated the safety from electric shock when ground fault or flashover occur in the feeding system. The results show FW is useful to protect power supply network from fault in electric railways
