  • RFID(Radio Frequency Identification) 시스템은 다양한 분야에서 혁신을 제공하는 기술로써 관심의 대상이 되고 있으며 여러 분야에서 RFID 기술을 도일하기 위해 연구되고 있다. 특히 많은 사업 분야에서 RFID 기술을 이용하기 위해 연구가 이루어지고 있다. RFID 시스템의 특성상 다양한 도메인에서 이용되기 때문에 여러 가지 장애가 발생하게 된다. 하지만 이렇게 발생한 다양한 장애들을 탐지하고 진단하는 일은 쉽지 않다. 본 논문에서는 다양한 도메인에서 이용되는 RFID 미들웨어 시스템의 특성을 고려하여 RFID 미들웨어 시스템에 적합한 장애 탐지 기법과 장애 진단 기법을 제시한다.

  • A small-sized isolated 154kV transmission system could be brought out by a separation from whole network due to faults at transmission lines. For such system, where a fault occurs following a reclosing action, we Provided the basis for study to provide an effective load shedding scheme needed to the case of failure of reclosing action as well as the characteristic of reclosing action whether it succeeds or fails.

  • 가상메모리 시스템에서 페이지 부재(page fault)를 최소화하기 위해서는 미래에 사용될 페이지를 미리 예측하는 것이 중요하다. 미래에 사용될 페이지는 이미 입력된 페이지들의 패턴 분석을 통해 예측 가능하며 이를 통해 시스템 성능을 최대화 할 수 있는 페이지 교체 정책(page replacement policy)에 대한 연구가 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 동일한 교체 우선권을 가지는 페이지들 간의 예측 적중률을 높이기 위하여 기존의 NUR(not used recently) 정책에 참조횟수 비트를 추가하여 우선 순위를 판단하는 방법을 제안한다. 제안하는 정책은 C 언어를 기반으로 모델링 되었으며 시뮬레이션 결과 페이지 프레임의 크기와 무관하게 기존의 정책들에 비해 성능이 향상됨을 확인하였다.

소음진동 주파수분석을 이용한 자동차 전동부품의 고장유형 분석 (A Malfunction Pattern Distinction of an Automotive Electric part by Sound and Vibration Frequency Analysis)

  • The usage of electric-powered components consisting of several electrical and mechanical parts is continuously increasing in automobiles. Therefore, continuous assessment of the reliability and quality of these electric-powered parts is crucial. In this study, a noise and vibration measurement system for testing and evaluating the different electric-powered parts of automobiles was designed. Further, an FFT analysis was performed on some electric-powered steering assembly test equipment. In the FFT analysis of the noise and vibration signals for each essential fault part, the vibration FFT analysis was significantly compared with the noise analysis. The results showed that the vibration FFT analysis was more effective in determining the reliability and quality of the electric-powered parts.

  • In this paper, a capacitors energy strategy based Cascaded H-bridge Converter (CHBC) for steady DC link voltage is proposed, which allow the CHBC to work while DC power fails. The topology of the CHBC is analyzed to construct the proposed strategy. The capacitors energy strategy is deduced based on the principle that the DC link voltage should be steady, the switch state should be smooth and the switch frequency should be normal. Experiments based on a three-module prototype, including static experiment, start experiment and step change experiment, proves the correctness of the strategy. They also verified the excellent fault tolerance ability and good dynamic performance of the proposed strategy.

  • In line with the advances in factory automation, various pieces of equipment are now operated in batch processes controlled by computers. However, many kinds of faults can occur in complicated and large systems, which can result in low productivity and economic loss. The reliability and safety of systems have been studied because of the difficulty of determining the severity and location of faults. Therefore, it is necessary to detect and diagnose such faults in order to guarantee the reliability and safety of the equipment. In this paper, a diagnosis method for the ball bearings of a hydraulic pump is applied using a vibration signal for the maintenance of injection molding equipment. The bearings' defects are selected as a main failure mode through a failure mode and effect analysis (FMEA). Usually, there are nonlinear and impulse components of vibration in a ball bearing with faults. For the effective fault diagnosis of a ball bearing, nonlinear diagnostic methods and time-frequency analysis are applied, in addition to the methods currently used, such as power spectrum, time series analysis, and statistical methods. As a result of this study, a failure diagnosis system is provided that is useful even for non-experts. This is a condition-based method that makes it possible to resolve problems in a timely and economical way, in contrast to the prior method, which required regular but wasteful maintenance based on the experience of expensive external experts.

Estimation of probabilistic hazard for Bingol province, Turkey

  • Due to the fact that Bingöl province is at the intersection of the North Anatolian Fault and the Eastern Anatolian Fault, the seismicity of the region is important. In this study, probabilistic seismic hazard analyzes (PSHA) were conducted to cover the boundaries of Bingöl province. It occurred since 1900, the seismicity of the region was obtained statistically by considering the earthquake records with a magnitude greater than 4 and the Gutenberg-Richter correlation. In the study, magnitude-frequency relationship, seismic hazard and repetition periods were obtained for certain time periods (10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 75 and 100 years). Once a project area determined in this study, which may affect the peak ground acceleration according to various attenuation relationships are calculated and using the Turkey Earthquake Hazard Map, average acceleration value for Bingöl province were determined. As a result of the probabilistic seismic hazard analysis, the project earthquakes with a probability of exceeding 50 years indicate that the magnitude of the project earthquake is 7.4 and that the province is in a risky area in terms of seismicity. The repetition periods of earthquakes of 6.0, 6.5, 7.0 and 7.5 are 42, 105, 266 and 670 years respectively. Within the province of Bingöl; the probability of exceeding 50 years is 2%, 10% and 50%, while the peak ground acceleration values are 1.03 g, 0.58 g and 0.24 g. As a result, probabilistic seismic hazard analysis shows that the seismicity of the region is high and the importance of considering the earthquake effect during construction is emphasized for this region.

  • Monitoring technology of machining has a long history since unmanned machining was introduced. Despite the long history, many researchers have presented new approaches continuously in this area. Sound based machine fault diagnosis is the process consisting of detecting automatically the damages that affect the machines by analyzing the sounds they produce during their operating time. The collected sound is corrupted by the surrounding work environment. Therefore, the most important part of the diagnosis is to find hidden elements inside the data that can represent the error pattern. This paper presents a feature extraction methodology that combines various digital signal processing and pattern recognition methods for the analysis of the sounds produced by tools. The magnitude spectrum of the sound is extracted using the Fourier analysis and the band-pass filter is applied to further characterize the data. Statistical functions are also used as input to the nonlinear classifier for the final response. The results prove that the proposed feature extraction method accurately captures the hidden patterns of the sound generated by the tool, unlike the conventional features. Therefore, it is shown that the proposed method can be applied to a sound based automatic diagnosis system.

서지임피던스 측정기의 설계 및 제작 (Design and Fabrication of a Surge Impedance Meter)

  • 접지시스템은 고장전류를 대지로 방출시켜 대지전위상승을 억제하는 역할을 한다. 본 논문에서는 넓은 주파수 범위에서 접지임피던스를 분석하기 위하여 서지임피던스측정기를 설계 제작하였다. 본 측정기는 서지발생회로, 고속 샘플/홀드회로 및 주변 전자회로로 구성되어 있으며, 서지발생치고는 상승시간 $50ns\sim500ns$ 범위에서 최대 5kV까지 발생시킬 수 있다. 제작한 서지임피던스 측정기는 심타접지극으로 구성된 접지계에서 실질적 평가가 수행되었다. 실험 결과로부터 접지계의 서지임피던스는 인가전압의 상승시간에 따라 증가하는 경향을 나타내므로, 접지임피던스는 여러가지 고속의 서지파형으로 평가되어야함을 확인하였다.

  • FlexRay는 차세대 차량 및 선박 내 전자 장치간의 통신을 위해 고속의 시리얼 통신, time triggered bus, fault tolerant 통신을 제공하는 새로운 네트워크 통신 시스템의 표준이다. FlexRay Communication Controller(CC)는 FlexRay 프로토콜 규격의 핵심 부분이다. 본 논문에서는 먼저 SDL(Specification and Description Language)를 이용하여 FlexRay CC 프로토콜 규격과 기능 부분을 설계한다. 다음 설계한 SDL 소스를 기반으로 Verilog HDL을 이용하여 하드웨어로 설계한다. 설계한 FlexRay CC는 Samsung $0.35{\mu}m$ 공정을 이용하여 합성하였으며, 그 결과 80 MHz의 속도로 동작하는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 FlexRay 시스템의 동작을 확인하기 위해 로봇에 적용되는 음원위치 추정 시스템에 응용하였다. 응용 시스템은 ALTERA Excalibur ARM EPAX4F672C3을 이용하여 검증하였으며 성공적으로 동작함을 확인하였다.
