Main cause of low back pain is a poor posture. Most low back pains are due to a poor posture. The poor posture induces muscle tension and finaliy low back pain. The poor posture arehabitually trained from the childhood by the environmetal factors. In general, maintaining good posture during working and sleeping hours are the first line of defence against back pam. (1) Supine posture is the easiest posture that relaxes and fixes muscles. Supine posture is thus a starting position for on exercise. Lying down releases the weight pressures of head and shoulder and thus body can be relaxed and extended which are helpful for treating back pain. However, supine posture can increase the pressure in ribcage posture aspect and disphragram due to visceral oragans. (2) Sitting in one position for a long time results in fatigue and relaxation of spinal muscies. Finally, body strength is weakened and sitting posture will become poor. If this poor posture continues for a longer time, pain will be accompanied due to overelongation of muscle ligaments. The habitual poor posture could induce intervertebral disc distortion. If the intervertebral disc is damaged, sitting in one position or movement causes pain. (3) Abnormal lumbar curve induces the tention of abdominal muscle and paravertebral muscle groups as well as tention of lower limb muscle group connected to pelvis. For a person with weak body strength, muscle relaxation increases curvature in lumbar, chest and cervical regions. This will induce a pelvic anterior tilting of the imaginary line between A. S. I. S. and P. S. I. S. Hip joint extensor muscle acts on releasing the pelvic anterior tilting. Contrections of hamstring muscle and femoral muscle recover the imaginary line between A.S.LS. and P.S.I.S. from pelvic anterior tilting. thus, contraction of rectus abdominis muscle are required to maintain the normal lumbar curve.
After oral administration of various drinking solutions, the initial absorption rate of water through gastrointestinal tract of the rabbits was evaluated using tritinated water $(^3H_2O)$ as a marker to develop the sports drinking beverage for Korean people. The polynomial curve fitting over 20 min was performed using computer program to obtain the initial absorption rate of water from the tangent line of the fitted equation because initial absorption rate of water was more critical compared to elimination rate during exercise. The amount of water absorbed was increased but a large variation was observed among testing preparations in a small study group $(2{\leq}n{\leq}6)$. The initial absorption rate of water from isotonic sports drinking beverages was statistically significant when compared to hypertonic cola but was not significant when compared to hypotonic solutions (potable water and barley water). In case of hypertonic sports dringking beverages (i.e. Takeda), initial absorption rate of water was not improved and efficient when compared to other isotonic sports dringking beverages. The initial absorption rate of water from prescribed isotonic sample solution containing electrolytes, carbohydrates, and vitamins was not statistically significant when compared to other isotonic drinking beverages but showed similar absorption profile. It was obvious that isotonic solutions simultaneously containing electrolytes, vitamins and carbohydrates (sugar and glucose) had a tendency to increase the initial absorption of water compared to hypotonic (potable water and barley water) and hypertonic preparations (orange juice and cola). Although statistical significance of initial absorption rate of water between isotonic sports drinking beverages and hypotonic potable and barley water was not observed, unlike the hypertonic solutions, isotonic sports drinking beverages may aid not only to replenish loss of water, electrolytes and other nutrients during the exercise but also to prevent dehydration and muscle fatigue, resulting in improved physical performance in an exhausted condition.

Methodology based on the elastic-plastic fracture mechanics has been widely accepted in predicting the critical crack length(CCL) of pressure tubes of CANDU nuclear plants. A conservative estimate of CCL is obtained by employing the J-resistance curves measured with the specimens satisfying plane strain condition as suggested in the ASTM standard. Due to limited thickness of the pressure tubes the curved compact tension(CT) specimens taken out from tile pressure tube have been used in obtaining J-resistance curves. The curved CT specimen inevitably introduce slant fatigue crack during precracking. Hence, effect of specimen geometry and slant crack on J-resistance curve should be explored. In this study, the difference of J integral values between the standard CT specimens satisfying plane strain condition and the nonstandard curved CT with limited thickness (4.2mm) is estimated using finite element analysis. The fracture resistance curves of Zr-2.5Nb obtained previously by other authors are critically discussed. Various finite element analysis were conducted such as 2D analysis under plane stress and plane strain conditions and 3D analysis for flat CT, curved CT with straight crack and curved CT with slant crack front. J-integral values were determined by local contour integration near the crack tip, which was considered as accurate J-values. J value was also determined from the load versus load line displacement curve and the J estimation equation in the ASTM standard. Discrepancies between the two values were shown and suggestion was made for obtaining accurate J values from the load line displacement curves obtained by the curved CT specimens.

The purpose of the present studies is to establish more rational and practical planning theory for trails of gradient. The results drawn from this research work are as follow ; Mean angle according to topography of Jiga road is $3^{\circ}$33'in low part, $8^{\circ}$17'in middle park and $12^{\circ}$48'in high part. Here, we can find that the highest gradient of Jige roacl is $12^{\circ}$48, Which is showing the fact that jigs road is the most function road when we compare other roads. The regression coefficient between potential model pattern and calculuted model pattern is 0.8 withinTEX>$ 0~<5^{\circ}$, 0.5 within$ 6~10^{\circ}$, and 0.53 within $11~16^{\circ}$. The linear of these model pattern is lower in R & L value, and lager in S & A value according to be steeping gradient. It is thought that these fact are closely related with between human fatigue and R.S.A.L value. Accordingly, when we plan the trails of the gradient in city park, the from of trails is right to mix straight line with curve line within $0~5^{\circ}$, and sine wave close curve line within $6~10 ^{\circ}$, $l1~16^{\circ}$. But, in fact, It is absurd that potential model pattern is applied to the city park in park of corner, widely road and facilities. Therefore, It is thought that the study of this problems will be proceeded in the future. I can reduce the following equation in relation R & S by gradient ; 22 log (R-6.0)=47.96-$\delta$
We studied the time-dependent behaviors of rock and concrete materials by conducting the static and dynamic long-term strength tests. In particular, acoustic emission(AE) signals generated while the tests were analyzed and used for the long-term stability evaluation. In the static subcritical crack growth test, the long-term behavior and AE characteristics of Mode I and Mode II were investigated. In the dynamic long-term strength test, the fatigue limit and characteristics of generation of AE were analyzed through cyclic four points bending test. The graph of the cumulative AE hits versus time showed a shape similar to that of the creep curve with the first, second and third stages. The possibility for evaluating the static and dynamic long-term stability of rock and concrete is presented from the log - log relationship between the slope of the secondary stage of cumulative AE hits curve and the delayed failure time.
Purpose: In this study,fire-resistance test were executed to evaluate the effectiveness of the fireproof panel attached to the PSC slab in tunnel. Method: For the fire resistance test, the RWS curve was applied and the furnace of the KICT was used. Result: As a result of the experiment, the maximum temperature measured on the concrete surface of the PSC slab with the fireproof panel was 321.8℃, which was lower than the damage limit temperature of 380℃ for concrete. Also, at the t=25mm, the maximum temperature was 35.2℃, which was lower than the damage temperature of steel, 250℃. The use of precast fire resistance panel(t=30mm) improves fire resistance of PSC structures. Conclusion: As a result of the test, a reinforcement method for attached a fireproof panel in case of fire in a tunnel or an underground roadway is provided to protect a structure from fire. In the future, it is necessary to perform the static performance test of the slab to which the fireproof panel is attached, and to confirm the adhesion performance of the fireproof panel by performing the pull-off test and the fatigue test.
OBJECTIVES : The objective of this research is to develop additives for the modification of Solvent DeAsphalting Residue (SDAR) to be used as pavement materials, and evaluate the performance of asphalt mixture manufactured using the SDAR modified by developed additives. METHODS : The SDAR generally consists of more asphaltenes and less oil components compared to the conventional asphalt binder, and hence, the chemical/physical properties of SDAR are different from that of conventional asphalt binder. In this research, the additives are developed using the low molecular oil-based plasticizer to improve the properties of SDAR. First, the chemical property of two SDARs is analyzed using SARA (saturate, aromatic, resin, and asphaltene) method. The physical/rheological properties of SDARs and SDARs containing additives are also evaluated based on PG-grade method and dynamic shear-modulus master curve. Second, various laboratory tests are conducted for the asphalt mixture manufactured using the SDAR modified with additives. The laboratory tests conducted in this study include the mix design, compactibility analysis, indirect tensile test for moisture susceptibility, dynamic modulus test for rheological property, wheel-tracking test for rutting performance, and direct tension fatigue test for cracking performance. RESULTS : The PG-grade of SDARs is higher than PG 76 in high temperature grades and immeasurable in low temperature grades. The dynamic shear modulus of SDARs is much higher than that of conventional asphalt, but the modified SDARs with additives show similar modulus compared to that of conventional asphalt. The moisture susceptibility of asphalt mixture with modified SDARs is good if, the anti-stripping agent is included. The performance (dynamic modulus, rutting resistance, and fatigue resistance) of asphalt mixture with modified SDARs is comparable to that of conventional asphalt mixture when appropriate amount of additives is added. CONCLUSIONS : The saturate component of SDARs is much less than that of conventional asphalt, and hence, it is too hard and brittle to be used as pavement materials. However, the modified SDARs with developed additives show comparable or better rheological/physical properties compared to that of conventional asphalt depending on the type of SDAR and the amount of additives used.

Medical waste management is becoming increasingly important, specifically in light of the current COVID-19 pandemic, as hospitals, clinics, quarantine centers, and medical research institutes are generating tons of medical waste every day. Previously, a traditional incineration process was utilized for managing medical waste, but the lack of landfill sites, and accompanying environmental concerns endanger public health. Consequently, an innovative sterilization shredding system was developed to resolve this problem. In this research, we focused on the design and numerical analysis of a shredding system for hazardous and infectious medical waste, to establish its operational performance. The shredding machine's components were modeled in a CAD application, and finite element analysis (FEA) was conducted using ABAQUS software. Static, fatigue, and dynamic loading conditions were used to analyze the structural stability of the cutting blade. The blade geometry proved to be effective based on the cutting force applied to shred medical waste. The dynamic stability of the structure was verified using modal analysis. Furthermore, an S-N curve was generated using a high cycle fatigue study, to predict the expected life of the cutting blade. Resultantly, an appropriate shredder system was devised to link with a sterilization unit, which could be beneficial in reducing the volume of medical waste and disposal time, thereof, thus eliminating environmental issues, and potential health hazards.
Fracture behavior of ex-serviced 1Cr-0.5Mo steel was measured at room(24$^{\circ}C$) and elevated(538$^{\circ}C$) temperature and compared with that measured with virgin 1Cr-0.5Mo steel. Compact C(T) specimens were machined from the base and welded test materials. In case of the C(T) specimens of the weld, fatigue precrack was introduced along the fusion line so that a crack growth should occur along the region of heat affected zone. It was observed that the J-R curve of the serviced material was significantly lower than that of the virgin material at room temperature. Brittle fracture was observed in the serviced material. On the other hand at elevated temperature no noticeable difference was found between the J-R curves of the virgin and the serviced material. The measured J-R curves were also compared with those of the 1.25Cr-0.5Mo steel from other literatures. Optical microscopy and SEM examination of the serviced material reveal the carbide in/along the grain boundary which shows material degradation due to long-term usage.

The object of this study is to investigate the definite method for pitting damaged surfaces. Pitting is a sort of fatigue damages and it is made by a repetitive load. For a judgment between damages or not, sensing vibrations of test equipment is simple. However, it is not only difficult to observe a growth of pitting but also impossible to detect the juncture of initial pitting. Therefore, a method for the pitting damaged area measuring technique was effectively implemented by Two Roller Machine. The change of surface damaged area was measured by an optical microscope in regular time and calculated by the use of dark and bright ratio of test specimens' pictures taken by optical microscope. In conclusion, S - N Curves gained by Failure rate - Cycle graph was led and the curves are able to be chosen as occasion demands for a failure area percentage.
