동대문 패션시장의 구매자-공급자 간의 거래특성이 관계결속에 미치는 영향 -지역 패션 소매업체의 관점에서- (The Effects of the Transaction Character Factors between Buyer-Supplier on Relational Bond in Dongdaemoon Fashion Market -From the Perspective of Region Retailer-)

  • This study identified the present state of store and selection criteria of supplier from the regional fashion buyer point of view and examined the effects of the factors of relative impact between buyer and supplier on the relational bond. The interviews and questionnaires were administered to the owners or the sellers of 85 fashion retail stores in Gwangju. For analysis of data, frequency, means, factor analysis, Cronbach's ${\alpha}$ and regression analysis were applied. The results were as follows. First, in the results of examining the actual conditions of store managers for fashion buyers, fashion buyers complained about lengthy travelling and time consumption inconvenience. They also reported decrease in margin and monthly mean sales over last year. Second, the most important selection the criteria for the supplier were product power, followed by a convenient store layout. Finally, higher quality communication, more compromises, and higher dependence were affected with higher satisfaction, trust, and commitment in suppliers; conversely, the trust and commitment of the buyers decreased relative to the increased power of the suppliers.

  • 본 연구의 목적은 동대문시장의 패션점포와 상품 공급자와의 관계를 이해하는 것이다. 구매자-공급자 관계에 영향을 미치는 요인을 구매자-공급자 관계 요인과 공급자 속성으로 분류하고 신뢰, 몰입, 의사소통, 장기적 전망, 파워 균형, 지리적 근접성, 디자인 능력, 품질, 낮은 가격, 납기 준수의 총 10개 변수를 추출하였다. 패션점포가 어떤 요인을 더 중요하게 인식하고 있는지 그리고 점포특성에 따라 그 중요성 인식에 차이가 있는지 살펴보았으며 공급자와의 거래지속기간에 영향을 미치는 요인을 규명하였다. 동대문 패션점포 233개로부터 수집한 자료를 분석한 결과, 공급자와의 관계에서 가장 중요하다고 응답한 변수는 납기 준수였으며 그 다음이 지리적 근접성, 디자인 능력 등으로 나타나 구매자-공급자 관계 요인보다는 공급자 속성이 더 중요한 것으로 지각되고 있었다. 점포 특성에 따라 중요도 인식에 차이가 있었는데, 신흥 소매 상권의 점포들이 다른 상권 점포들에 비해 모든 변수들의 중요도를 낮게 인식하고 있었으며 도매위주 점포가 소매위주 점포보다 고매출 점포가 저매출 점포보다 모든 변수를 더 중요하게 지각하였다. 총 영업기간에 따라서는 일부 변수에서 장기 영업점포가 단기 영업점포보다 더 높은 중요도 지각을 보였다 거래지속기간에 영향을 미치는 요인을 알아보기 위해 우선 주로 거래하는 점포를 상기 10개 변수로 평가하게 하였는데, 지리적 근접성 신뢰, 디자인 능력, 품질, 의사소통 순으로 높게 평가되었다. 회귀분석 결과 실제 거래해 온 기간에 영향을 미치는 변수는 디자인 능력, 의사소톰, 파워 균형이었으며, 향후 추가로 기대하는 거래기간에 영향을 미치는 변수는 의사소통과 신뢰로 나타났다.

애견복 원형 개발에 관한 연구 (A study on the Development on the Basic Pattern for Pet Dog's Wear)

  • With the growing interest in pet dogs and pet dog's wear I used this study to compare and analyze the pattern used by each supplier and developed a new pattern for pet dogs' wear which is appropriate for pet dogs' body lines and movement. Test subjects were 91 pet dogs in Busan and after comparing 3 patterns from different suppliers, I developed the pattern reflecting pet dogs' body shapes and movement. Results are as follows; 1) As a result of analyzing measurements, it was found that pet dogs motion in walking on four feet, is different from that of people on two feet. For center measurements, their waist to bust length is longer than their waist to back length. The result of analysis shows that bust circumference impacts most other measurement results and it seems that better results are achieved if the bust line is taken into consideration when measuring bust back length, bust front length, neck base circumference, front leg arc, the length between lateral shoulder etc. 2) As a result of comparing suppliers' patterns, it was discovered that each supplier has different sizes for the same patterns and those sizes are not standardized across the board. Even if the same size of pattern was actually used in the production of pet dogs' wear by the individual companies, there were many variations in size for each item. 3) To develop a more standard pattern of pet dogs' wear, I collected and analyzed 3 patterns from each supplier and designed a new pattern, revising it three times. After test-wearing of the experimental pattern and the studied patterns, and comparing and analyzing the results, the studied pattern had similarly better estimation than the experimental one.

  • Electronic commerce is giving rise to many new and innovative 'gest business practices,' such as telecommuting and the virtual workplace. Telecommuting and the virtual workplace go hand in hand. Today, more then 35 million people in the United States telecommute, and that expected to grow by 20 percent over the next several years. And more then 30 million people used internet shopping mall every years in Korea. Therefore, using the internet and information technology, electronic commerce has the potential to propel a company to 'break out' of existing strategic constraints and radically alter business processes, strengthen customer and supplier ties, and open up new markets. The object of this study is the investigation method for activity solution of electronic commerce of fashion cloth shopping mall in korea. The study has investigated 2 cases about 'halfclub.com' in Korea and 'bluefly.com' in America in the research. Therefore, the study founded the 3problems of electronic commerce at fashion cloth shopping mall in korea and suggested that the activation policies of electronic commerce. The result of suggested that the new electronic commerce style, a lot of contents affects positive effects on the performance of fashion cloth shopping mall in Korea and hope that will be expect new role of electronic commerce to be the herb in fashion cloth shopping mall in korea.

  • 패션산업은 새로운 이미지를 창출하는 지식산업의 하나이다. 특히 패션제품을 생산하는 디자인 제품기업은 이제 새로운 지식기업으로 전환을 해야 한다. 새로운 이미지의 디자인은 디자이너의 창의력으로부터 시작된다. 각개 디자이너로부터의 새로운 이미지와 디자인의 창출보다는 자율 독립권을 갖는 디자인 팀의 지식 및 정보공유를 통한 동시공학을 활용한 디자인 및 제품개발이 보다 더 신속한 제품 디자인 및 개발이며 고객 지향적이다. 또한 공급자와 지식 및 정보공유를 기초로 한 Just-in-Time II의 개념에 의한 생산 및 공급자 관계 유지는 생산 속도의 빠름은 물론 제품의 품질 향상과 원가 절감에 기여 할 것이다.

B2B를 이용한 유통업체의 의류상품구매 사례연구 (A Case Study of Retail Fashion Buying through B2B)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the current situation of B2B fashion buying behavior (i.e., buying motives, product characteristics, buying processes), and to analyze the buying performance, buying problems and buying strategies. In depth, face-to-face interviews with structured questionnaire were conducted with three buyers and three vendors related to 18 buying items of C Company. Results of this research were as following:1. Buying motives were mainly reduction of buying costs, improvement of profits, and increased efficiency in buying process for retail buyers, while the selling motive was mainly improvement of market share for suppliers. Suitable items for B2B buying were basic items or bulk items. The B2B buying process included the following steps: selecting auction items, target prices, and suppliers ; setting the product specification and bidding niles; training the suppliers for preparing the auction; proceeding the auction by internet. 2. The perceived B2B benefits for buyers were profit improvement and cost reduction while those for suppliers were time saving and market share improvement. The indicated buying problems were as poor product quality, low product image, and difficulty in partnership. For B2B buying strategies, a quality management system, various auction tactics based on items, and a supplier management system were recommended.

Organizational Factors Influencing Inclination to Use a B2B Website by a Buyer-Supplier Dyad: The Indian Context

  • Business-to-Business electronic commerce websites are a common form of inter-organizational systems that span organizational boundaries and enables organizations to exchange information in a seamless fashion. To reap the desired benefits it is important that the website be used in the intended manner. The level and extent of use of a business-to-business website depends partly on the inclination to use the website by the users in the primary organization and in the user organizations independently and the combined inclination of the organizations together. This combined inclination is referred to as the System Inclination, with dominance playing a key role. Each organization has certain characteristics of its own and may differ significantly in their inclination to use. It is important to analyze the factors that determine this inclination to use, so that organizations can adopt appropriate management mechanisms to control it. This paper proposes a framework to explain the organizational factors and their influence on the inclination to use a website, based on study of four Indian buyer-supplier dyads. Inclination to use is found to be influenced by factors like top management support, website characteristics, adequate support mechanisms, user group orientation towards electronic commerce and basic IT drive among the employees, at both the primary and user organizations.

미국 패션전문 일간지 WWD에 드러난 한국 패션산업에 대한 인식 (How the Korean Fashion Industry is Viewed by WWD USA)

  • 국가와 산업의 이미지가 제품 평가에 영향을 미치고 있다는 것은 주지의 사실이지만, 그러한 영향력의 경로가 되는 매체에 관한 연구는 부족하다. 본 연구는 미국의 대중매체에 드러난 한국의 패션산업 이미지가 한국의 패션제품을 평가하는데 영향을 미칠 것이라는 기본 가정하에, 한국 패션산업의 어떤 측면이 독자들에게 부각되고 있는지를 규명하고자 하였다. 미국의 명성 있는 패션전문 일간지인 WWD(Women's Wear Daily)를 선택하여 한국 패션산업과 관련된 내용분석을 시도하였다. 1998년 1월 1일부터 2008년 6월 30일까지 게재된 기사 중 "Korean" 이라는 단어를 포함한 기사를 우선적으로 검색하고 패션분야와 관련된 기사 총 329개를 최종적으로 선택하여 분석하였다. 섬유공급망 관리 상의 역할별로 분석 범주를 설정하고, 한국 패션산업이 공급망 상에서 어떤 역할을 담당하는 주체로 부각되고 있는지 살펴 보았다. 그 결과, 한국의 패션산업은 섬유와 원단공급업자, 혹은 의류제조업자로서의 역할을 담당하는 것으로 인식되는 경우가 많았다. 이는 역사적으로 한국이 미국의 패션산업의 주요 소싱국가였던 이력을 반영하는 결과이다. 디자인, 브랜딩, 마케팅, 소매유통업을 담당하는 역할자로서 한국 패션산업을 바라보는 관점은 상대적으로 미약하였다. 또한, 한국 패션산업은 패션에 관심이 많고 세계의 유명 고가 브랜드 제품을 소비할 수 있는 의미 있는 시장을 보유하고 있는 것으로 높게 인식되고 있는 반면 한국 패션산업은 거시 경제의 환경 변화에 따라 경기변동을 펴는 취약점이 있음이 부각되기도 하였다.

  • The purpose of study is to understand of china clothing brand to have them to be competitive position in global market. Also through this study people who are in a clothing industry market from China and overseas will be able to utilize it to have competitive brand power. Analyzing of the China clothing brand with a history and process of development is done to help understand of changes through years. With the rapid development of economy in China, the textiles & clothing industry, as one of the key industries, is showing a strong growing tendency, and brand in china have been expanding oversea market. Till 2002, China has already been the world's largest supplier of textile & clothing. Nowadays, "Made in China" is going to be "Created in China", lots of Chinese clothing brands appear, and many Chinese fashion designers step onto world stage. Chinese women's clothing, men's clothing, casual clothing, sports clothing and designer's brand are developing, popular brands are also promoted through convenient e-commerce. Clothing companies are going public, acquiring overseas brands, implementing internal mergers and integration, expanding overseas market. In such a diversity era, Chinese brands not only need to be localization, but also need to confirm with the trend of international management and globalized economy.
