The purpose of this study was to reveal the relationship between self confidence in fashion coordination and fashion information search of men. This study also examine the utility of services of fashion coordination in fashion store. A questionnaire was developed and data was collected from 248 male consumer in the age of $20{\sim}29$ living in Busan and it was analyzed by the statistical method of frequencies, factor analysis, analysis of variance and regression. The results of this study were as follows: First, information contents of fashion coordination include four dimension, such as fashion style information, knowledge about fashion item, way of putting-on for stylish appearance and beauty information. And degree of search fashion information was significant different among groups classified by consumer's level of self confidence in fashion coordination. Second, multiple regression analysis revealed that consumer's self confidence in fashion coordination could be predicted from the amount of search fashion information contents and information sources. In conclusion, fashion information search was important factor which influenced on self confidence in fashion coordination. and male consumers perceived fashion coordination services in fashion store will be useful information.

The purpose of this study is to develop the fashion coordination course. The first step of this study is to set up the concept of fashion coordination. And the second step is to organize the fashion coordination course depending on the concept of fashion coordination. The concept of the fashion coordination is as foltowed: The goal of the fashion coordinapion is 'making the image' The image in this study is constituted of several concepts, which are perception/conition/impression, bojective/person perception, external/internal content, and simple/complex level. The elements of fashion coordination are the person, the clothing and the accessory. The method of making the image with elements is to harmonize the symbolic aspect of elements, and the beauty aspect of elements too. The fashion coordination course is organized into theory part and practice part. The theory part is composed of theories of 'making the image', the elements, the harmony depending on the concept of fashion coordination. The practice part is composed of exercises to make the image depending on the theory, especially the important point of exercise is Listing the clues that make the image.

The purpose of this study is to examine the tendency of the fashion coordination of working women to explain it's trend according to occupation and to present the fundamental data for the new fashion coordination This study selected as objects 500 working women who are working around Seoul and Kyenggi Province and collected statistics of 471 pieces of data by questionnaire examination methods. The data are analysed by the factor analysis, the method of quantification the {{{{ chi _2 }} analysis the correspondence analysis in SAS system and the cronbach's-$\alpha$ are produced for measurig confidence. The result is following as ; 1)According to the factor analysis the factors in the fashion coordination is classified into by 4 kinds this is the self-confidence corrdination the accessary coordination the trend coordination and the individuality coordination. The fashion coordination is affected by occupation and marriage. By occupation saleswomen show high interests in the fashion coordination By marriage Single women have more interest in the fashion coordination than the married ones. 2) Accordint to the correspondence analysis nurses and selling women purchase clothing by pieces for the piece coordination while saleswomen teachers and office women purchase clothing with accessaries. Specially teachers and saleswomen choose accessaries of similar color to clothing for coordination considering their occupation (job) 3) There were singnificant effects color accessory coordination by their cocupation . 4) Most have interests in the fashion coordination but have low confidence in their own.

This study offers data that can be used to direct the styles of black dresses by looking into the characteristics of coordination in black fashion, which is continuously appearing at modem. fashion collections with a unique aesthetic value and image. This study examined the characteristic of fashion coordination of black color: First, to look at the fashion image of black color, second, to look at the characteristic of black color coordination appearing in black fashion, and third, to look at the method of coordination appearing in black color. This study collected and selected 560 black pictures that showed the fashion collections from 2005 S/S until 2007 F/W. As for data analysis, the researcher made a content analysis by classifying the pictures by item, material, accessory, and a coordination method. The research results are as follows: First, the fashion image of black color was expressed as sexy feminine, modern chic, modern future, genderless, and avant-garde images. Second, the fashion coordination of black color has the characteristics of sexiness and dignity by the use of body exposure, concealment, and a subdued line that expresses a modern, minimal atmosphere. The mix & match of materials expressed the monotony of one color as refined beauty and the use of accessories appeared to bring the image into relief. Third, as for the coordination method, pants on skirts, pants on dresses, piece coordination of code matching, plus- one coordination through vivid colors and accessories, and cross-over coordination relying on shape, material, and sense were prominent.
This study examined the influence of consumer self-confidence and self-confidence in fashion coordination on the attitude toward secondhand fashion goods and the purchase intention of secondhand fashion goods. Questionnaire data from 346 university students were analyzed and the results were summarized as follows. First, there were five factor solutions in consumer self-confidence: information acquisition, personal outcomes decision making, social outcomes decision making, consideration-set information, persuasion knowledge. Second, information acquisition, social outcomes decision making, and consideration-set information had significant effects on self-confidence in fashion coordination, while personal outcomes decision making and persuasion knowledge had no effect on self-confidence in fashion coordination. Third, self-confidence in fashion coordination had a significant effect on attitude toward secondhand fashion goods however, it had no effect on purchase intention of secondhand fashion goods. Fourth, attitude toward secondhand fashion goods had a significant effect on the purchase intention of secondhand fashion goods. The results show diverse implications for marketers and managers of secondhand fashion goods.
The main objective of this research was to understand the characteristics of identical color coordination through the analysis of modern female fashion color coordination as they appear in the 'Collections'. Data collection of 2026 was done through review of '$pr\hat{e}t-\grave{a}$-porter Collections' of four cities; Milan, London, New York, Paris. Lastly, statistical analysis of frequency and $X^2$-test and also qualitative interpretation of identical color coordination characteristics were completed. The main findings were; The color coordination of modern women's fashion produces a unified theme, or monochromatic harmony, through the use and coordination of identical colors. The clear contrast of tones portrays a strong image especially in achromatic color coordination, and through the use of texture variation, monochromatic color coordination becomes even more compelling. The tone variation, observed most often in monochromatic color coordination was the black and white contrast, which enhances the simplicity and clarity. Within chromatic color combinations, tone on tone color coordination was achieved by varying brightness. Furthermore, the observation of Faux Camaeu indicates that the coordination of different textures is used often in identical color coordination. While achromatic colors can lead to a hard and rough feeling, it also is compensated through the use of varying textures. In addition, adding variety of textures can add subtle interests to the simplicity of white. Lastly, in all four collections, the chromatic identical color coordination was found more frequently than the achromatic. In Paris, N.Y. & London, the chromatic identical coordination was used more often than chromatic. Milan showed most use of achromatic coordination. The use of the tones showed similar trends in all four collections, with contrasting tone being used most often, followed by similar and identical tones.

The purpose of this study is to acquire various methods for the fashion image coordination and to examine common features of variation of coordination methods according to the trend. It has attained by investigating Men's fashion image coordination through trend analysis in terms of its coordination features and its variety aspects. For this study, it has classified into twelve typical Men's fashion images in collecting 1,291 pieces of photographs on the subject of jackets and pants from Men's fashion collection$(1995\~2002)$. The study has examined methods and features of fashion image coordination by year according to design elements and the harmony between items. In addition, it has drawn common factors in the image coordination. The summary and conclusion are as follows. A year of 1995, it has presented as the essential code of the variation that morphologic aspects of a design in the fashion image coordination. Various designs have developed through the variation of shapes such as shoulder width, shoulder pad, jacket width and its length and so on. In the initial stage, the width of shoulder and jacket has fitted into large pattern and then adjusted elegantly to make fit the body that indicates a dissolution according to an avant-garde image. At the time that over-measurement of the shape has reduced and high quality and variation of materials has gradually become significant. Those are often used that high-quality glossy materials or other materials which are opposite to the basic code of the original fashion image materials and qualities regardless of images. On the pattern and color, in addition, have represented neat and elegant impression with moderate applications rather than quantitative abundance that have used opposite elements to the basic code f3r the change code like materials. Furthermore, before and after 1999, ' it shows that a concept of the total coordination has arisen that increased coordination methods to strengthen and affluent its images for the whole with wearing accessaries such as hats, gloves, sunglasses, mufflers, bags, belts and so on.

The main objective of this research is to investigate the color coordination types and their characteristics of contemporary female fashion by reviewing 'pre-a-porter Collections' of four collections (i.e., cities) - Paris, Milan, New York, London - from the periods of 2000 S/S to 2002/3 A/W. Through the review of various books and articles written on the subject, the color coordination types and their characteristics were categorized and defined. The data was collected by reviewing 'pre-a-porter Collections' magazine and total 4,269 observations were made. These in turn were categorized into eight color coordination and three color tone categories through the content analysis. Frequency analysis was used to analyse the data. The findings are as follows; First of all, there were 8 observable color coordination categories in contemporary women's fashion. The most used color coordination was chromatic & achromatic color coordination. It was followed by chromatic identical, and then by achromatic identical color coordination. These three color coordinations were the majority, comprizing 73.4% of the total. The rest were in the order of complementary, gradation, similarity, accent. And the most used tone type was contrasting tone and followed by similar and identical. Next, the analysis of each coordination categories shows that; The chromatic identical coordination focused on presenting its own unity or break it using the contrasting color tone. Meanwhile, the achromatic identical coordination project a clean and strong feeling through black and white combination or a subtle feeling through the different material combination. The chromatic & achromatic coordination showed strong colors and contrasting tones of clear and bright colors. Meanwhile, the characteristics of complementary coordinations are that these coordinations seem to free the colors and show the subtle changes in tones very clearly. The gradation coordination was used to create a cool and lively feeling. Next, the similarity coordination seems to create feminine and warm feeling by taking advantage of similar color feelings, often through the use of warm to warm, cool to cool color matching. Lastly, the accent coordination, through the use of contrasting tones emphasizes the differences in colors, while separation coordination mostly uses black and white on various color coordinations.
The purpose of this study was to understand fashion trend and characteristics by finding out the influences of crossover on modern fashion coordination through the identification of crossover coordination trend and characteristics. With a review of the literature, this study analyzed crossover coordination according to the types of expression methodology, periodical changes and designer's tastes that appeared through the collections of the six representative designers from 1996 to 2004. The results of this study were as follows. As a result of analysis of our sources, we realized that crossover coordination was shown most frequently in 1997 and Christian Dior was the designer who used crossover coordination most frequently. Among lots of crossover coordination cases, most of the cases are the coordination with different materials. In our results, trends of crossover coordination in materials appeared again about every five years cycle. Christian Dior combined different elements through silhouette and material, Dolce & Gabbana combined images and Jean Paul Gaultier combined different elements in the aspect of purpose and wearing configuration.
