스마트 서비스 시스템 기반 스마트 팩토리 아키텍처 설계 (Smart Service System-based Architecture Design of Smart Factory)

  • A new paradigm based on distributed manufacturing services is emerging. This paradigm shift can be realized by smart functions and smart technologies such as Cyber Physical System (CPS), Artificial Intelligence (AI), and Cloud Computing. Most architectures define stack levels from Level 0 (equipment) to Level 4 (business area) and specify the services to be provided between them. Because of their a rough technical specification, there is a limitation on how to actually utilize a technology to actually implement a smart factory service with this architecture. In this paper, we propose a smart factory architecture that can be utilized directly from the perspective of a smart service system by making the use of System Engineering Process and System Modeling Language (SysML).

  • 식물공장은 센서네트워크를 비롯한 U-IT 기술이 접목된 미래 농업기술 중 하나로서 기존 온실재배 기술의 한계인 외부 환경적 요인의 영향을 최소화 할 수 있는 장점을 갖고 있다. 식물공장의 자동화된 재배 시스템은 작물 재배에 대한 편의 제공이라는 단순한 범위을 벗어나 식물공장에서 취득된 정보을 기반으로 하는 지식베이스의 구축과 이를 활용한 교육, 기타 응용 서비스 개발이 가능한 플랫폼으로서의 확장성을 제공한다. 본 논문에서는 식물공장의 서비스 확장을 위하여 식물공장 간 작물생육과 연관된 정보의 효율적 공유를 위한 Plant Factory Interworking Service(PFIS) 를 설계하고 이에 대한 구현 및 서비스 테스트에 대한 연구를 수행하였다.

뿌리업종 중견중소기업의 설비 AI 플랫폼 구축에 관한 사례연구 (Case Study on the Implementation of Facility AI Platform for Small and Medium Enterprises of Korean Root Industry)

  • Purpose This study investigates the impact of organizational characteristics on organizational performance through case studies of smart factory implementation in the context of Korean small and medium Enterprises (SMEs). To achieve this goal, this study adopts the smart factory index of KOSMO (Korea Smart Manufacturing Office) established by Korean Ministry of SMEs and Startups. We visited 3 firms implemented smart factory projects. This study presents the results of field study in detail with evaluation criteria on how organizational competences like AI technology adoption and facility automation can be exploited to positively influence organizational performance through smart factory implementation. Design/methodology/approach There are not so many results of empirical studies related to smart factories in Korea. This is because organizational support and user involvement are required for facility AI platform service beyond factory automation after the start of the 4th Industrial Revolution. Korean government's KOSMO (Korean Smart Manufacturing Office) has developed and proposed a level measurement index for smart factory implementation. This study conducts case studies based on the level measurement method proposed by KOSMO in the process of conducting case studies of three companies belonging to the root and mechanic industries in Korea. Findings The findings indicate that organizational competences, such as facility AI platform adoption and user involvement, are antecedents to influence smart factory implementation, while smart factory implementation has significant relationship with organizational performance. This study provides a better understanding of the connection between organizational competences and organizational performance through smart factory case studies. This study suggests that SMEs should focus on enhancing their organizational competences for improving organizational performance through implementing smart factory projects.

  • 최근 모바일, 클라우드, 그리고 사물인터넷의 융합으로 다양한 스마트팩토리 서비스가 제공되고, 많은 기업에서도 관심을 가지고 있다. 그러나 대부분의 시스템은 근로자 관점에서 구현되지 않았기 때문에 근로자로부터 외면 받고 있다. 이에 본 논문은 스마트공장 서비스를 수요자들이 정의하여 사용할 수 있도록 서비스 제작을 현장 근로자가 직접할 수 있는 개발도구를 구현하였다. 서비스에 사용되는 제조데이터는 제조설비와 연결된 센서로부터 실시간으로 수집하여 스마트팩토리 플랫폼 내에 저장된다. 그리고 플랫폼에 저장된 제조데이터로부터 설비 모니터링, 공정상태분석, 설비 제어 등 다양한 스마트 공장 서비스를 근로자가 직접 드래그앤드롭 방식으로 매우 쉽게 만들 수 있다. 구현된 시스템은 특히 소규모 제조 기업에서 기업의 특정 목적에 맞게 수시로 서비스를 변경해야하는 환경에서 더욱더 큰 효과를 낼 것으로 예상된다. 또한, 현장 근로자의 스마트팩토리 운용 및 활용 능력 향상은 물론 중소기업의 스마트팩토리 인재 양성에 많은 도움이 될 것으로 기대된다.

An Autonomous Operational Service System for Machine Vision-based Inspection towards Smart Factory of Manufacturing Multi-wire Harnesses

  • In this study, we propose a technological system designed to provide machine vision-based automatic inspection and autonomous operation services for an entire process related to product inspection in wire harness manufacturing. The smart factory paradigm is a valuable and necessary goal, small companies may encounter steep barriers to entry. Therefore, the best approach is to develop towards this approach gradually in stages starting with the relatively simple improvement to manufacturing processes, such as replacing manual quality assurance stages with machine vision-based inspection. In this study, we consider design issues of a system based on the proposed technology and describe an experimental implementation. In addition, we evaluated the implementation of the proposed technology. The test results show that the adoption of the proposed machine vision-based automatic inspection and operation service system for multi-wire harness production may be considered justified, and the effectiveness of the proposed technology was verified.

  • Recently, factory automation and shop floor control system need a web based remote monitoring technology to control effectively machine tool. This paper describes a web based remote monitoring system which is concerned with open architecture controller for machine tool. The environment of this system consists of a lot of elements such as web server, database, machine tool, pc based controller, client computers and script programs, also which is interconnected by network including intranet or internet. Designed script programs, also which is interconnected by network including intranet or internet. Designed script program service current status and faults information of machine to remote users who want to monitor machine tool. Additionally those have various functions to service we board for q&a, downloading data and information of after-service managers.

중소기업용 스마트팩토리 보안 취약점 분류체계 개발: 산업제어시스템 중심으로 (Developing a Classification of Vulnerabilities for Smart Factory in SMEs: Focused on Industrial Control Systems)

  • The smart factory has spread to small and mid-size enterprises (SMEs) under the leadership of the government. Smart factory consists of a work area, an operation management area, and an industrial control system (ICS) area. However, each site is combined with the IT system for reasons such as the convenience of work. As a result, various breaches could occur due to the weakness of the IT system. This study seeks to discover the items and vulnerabilities that SMEs who have difficulties in information security due to technology limitations, human resources, and budget should first diagnose and check. First, to compare the existing domestic and foreign smart factory vulnerability classification systems and improve the current classification system, the latest smart factory vulnerability information is collected from NVD, CISA, and OWASP. Then, significant keywords are extracted from pre-processing, co-occurrence network analysis is performed, and the relationship between each keyword and vulnerability is discovered. Finally, the improvement points of the classification system are derived by mapping it to the existing classification system. Therefore, configuration and maintenance, communication and network, and software development were the items to be diagnosed and checked first, and vulnerabilities were denial of service (DoS), lack of integrity checking for communications, inadequate authentication, privileges, and access control in software in descending order of importance.

스마트 팩토리 환경에서 클라우드와 학습된 요소 공유 방법 기반의 효율적 엣지 컴퓨팅 설계 (Design of Efficient Edge Computing based on Learning Factors Sharing with Cloud in a Smart Factory Domain)

  • 최근 사물인터넷은 인공지능의 발전, 연결된 기기의 증가와 클라우드 시스템의 높은 성능으로 인해 급격하게 발전하고 있다. 많은 기기와 센서로부터 생산되는 엄청난 양의 데이터들은 지능적 진단, 추천 서비스 뿐 아니라 스마트 관제 서비스와 같이 서비스 영역의 확대를 이끌고 있다. 엣지 컴퓨팅(Edge Computing)에 대한 연구는 높은 성능을 지닌 하드웨어를 바탕으로 작은 또 하나의 서버로써의 역할에 국한되어 연구되고 있다. 그러나 데이터를 분석하고 의미성에 따른 서비스를 구현하기 위해서는 범용적 서버로써의 역할보다는 도메인에 특화된 기능과 요구사항을 지녀야 한다. 스마트 팩토리에서의 엣지는 제한적 필터링, 사전 포맷팅을 포함하는 전처리와 그룹 컨텍스트 융합, 지역적 룰의 관리 등을 필요로 한다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 공장 특성에 맞는 효율성과 강건함 측면을 강조하는 요구사항들을 도출하고, 클라우드와 학습된 요소 공유 방법을 기반으로 하는 엣지 컴퓨팅의 구조를 제안하고자 한다. 이 엣지는 네트워크 자원 소모를 감소시키고 룰과 학습화된 모델의 변경을 쉽게 할 수 있도록 한다.

사업체 급식서비스 품질의 인구통계적 변인에 따른 비교분석 (Analysis of Demographic Backgrounds on Factory Foodservice Quality for Employee Grouped by Working Types)

  • The purposes of this study were to identify customer expectation, perception and satisfaction of foodservice quality to analyze the influencing factors on foodservice quality and finally to provide basic information for the improvement of foodservice quality. A survey of 4 factory foodservices was undertaken and detailed information was collected from 675 respondents. Statistical data analysis was completed using the SPSS package program for descriptive analysis, t-test and one-way ANOVA. Male had higher scores than female in perceptions of foods and services, and the differences were statistically significant. As analysis of expectation, perception and satisfaction result of age, expectation and perception were statistically significant, and mostly expectation and perception increased according as age increased. Expectation and perception showed statistical differences by marital status. Married people had higher scores in expectation and perception of food and service than single. According to family type, respondents living alone showed lower scores in expectation and perception of food and service than those living with family or relatives. Conversely, living alone had high expectation on service. As analysis of work type, office workers showed higher scores of service expectation, food and service perception than production workers. As education level increased, food and service expectation and perception increased mostly. As analysis of work post, food and service expectation and perception increased as work post raised. Meanwhile, married people had higher scores in service quality of satisfaction than single. Result of the study can be summarized as follows the analysis of expectation, perception and satisfaction of foodservice quality, the Quadrant of food and service quality expectation and perception according to demographic variables. Expectation, perception and satisfaction scores of foodservice attributes according to work type. The distribution of attributes with satisfyingly significant difference in grid.

공유 온 팩토리 서비스를 위한 수발주 시스템 (Purchase and Acquisition Order System for sharing on factory)

  • 산업통상자원부에서 추진하는 산업융합 규제 샌드박스 의결에 따라, 산학협력업체인 마이메이커(주)에서 신청한 "공장 내 공작기계 공유 서비스"를 실증 특례를 받았다.[1] 이를 실행하면서 수발주 서비스 부분을 소프트웨어로 개발해야 하는 상황으로 업체의 제조 도메인 문제를 파악 분석하고 절차를 정립하고 관련 요구사항에 맞는 시스템을 설계하였다. LINC+ 산업체 애로 사항 해결 공동연구 개발 프로젝트로 공유 온 팩토리 서비스[2]를 위한 수발주시스템을 최종 개발했다. 수 발주 시스템에 필요한 데이터 구조를 설계하고 관련 데이터를 활용한 화면 설계와 사용자 관점의 기능 구현을 중심으로 하였으며 정립된 절차와 요구사항 분석에 맞추어 기획, 설계, 프로토타이핑, 구현 제작 단계로 진행했다. 마지막으로 최종개발 내용을 요구사항에 맞게 잘 구현되었는지 검토 및 기능 검증 시연과 제품 인수인계를 통해 애로 사항 해결을 확인하였다.
