To investigate the actual management condition of group homes for the elderly and their living environment, four group homes and 26 elderly people living in the group home were surveyed. As the results, the relationships between the administrator and the elderly were acceptable, but the group homes seem suffer from insufficient administrative supports. The most required service in the group homes was a conversational partner service. Moreover, the most satisfactory point for the elderly living in group homes was the settlement of food, clothing, and housing. The unsatisfactory things were the service related to medical, leisure, and house work and an invasion of their private life. The resident elderly in group homes were fully satisfied with their living environment including the relationship with the manager and the people in the facility. They, however, do not have much chance to make an exchange with their neighbor. Overall, the elderly want to stay continuously in the group homes where they are living current.

By the effect of globalism and information the workplace environment is complicated and diversified little by little. The job stress due to the life style, the idea and culture, and the automated facility system etc. is to a tendency which compared to increase more. It will not be able to prevent a industrial accident basically because the oriental and western life style is different. Therefore this paper presents the Korean life change unit model through statistical testing in order to minimize industrial accident with the proposed life change unit factors on the workers living In the middle area. Finally, the analytical result of this paper can be easily used in order to minimize the industrial accidents by the job stress with the worker and the occupational safety & health manager in real fields.

In korea, the power consumption is increasing every year because of economic growth, requiring of convenience and delightfulness condition. As increasing power consumption, Private Use is steadily increasing and the rate of electrical accident is increasing. This study purpose is extract on the architectural principles and architectural planning direction for Integrated Secondary School. The integrated secondary school has an expectation of the total education environment in which has some problem as regional, teaching, treatment, establishment equipment part because of the based relative establishments are abolished. The expectations are the education effective rising, the reduce of the responsibility of the teacher, a smooth teacher placing and saving the educating estimate. As the new education course propulsion is raising the school and students discretion and expanding the way of educating, being close to the course of studies, the integrated operation is earnestly needed and such as these versatile background the small school will keep on getting integrated. Investigate about the senses of the manager and teachers, so after these reserch I've concluded these things below about the integrated secondary school.

This paper considers the problem of determining an optimal dynamic operating policy for a two-stage tandem queueing service system in which the service facilities (or stages) can be operated at more than one service rate. At each period of the system's operation, the system manager must specify which of the available service rates is to be employed at each stage. The cost structure includes an operating cost for running each stage and a service facility profit earned when a service completion occurs at Stage 2. We assume that the system has a finite waiting capacity in front of each station and each customer requires two services which must be done in sequence, that is, customers must pass through Stage 1 and Stage 2 in that order. Processing must be in the order of arrival at each station. The objective is to minimize the total discounted expected cost in a two-stage tandem queueing service system, which we formulate as a Discrete-Time Markov Decision Process. We present analytical and numerical results that specify the form of the optimal dynamic operating policy for a two-stage tandem queueing service system.

This study is on the external environment of University library organization, to establish the theoretical background of scientific organization. The library is heavily influenced by its environment and much of the library manager's time is spent trying to reduce these envitronmental influences. The library, basic facility of the university has two environments: external and internal. The external environment is consist of educational, political, economical, cultural, technological and physical environment in society, Internal environment is consist of the university and the library condition. Several subjects of external environment which effect the construction of library organization are selected the elements of this study.

In order to keep global competitiveness, most of small and medium size manufacturing companies require to equip a product information management system which collects and analyzes the data generated at the manufacturing lines and then provides information for manager or worker to make a decision. However, these companies have a cost problem for adopting the enterprise resource planning system mostly used in large companies. To overcome this problem, we suggest an IOCP-based server for the product information management system suitable for small and medium size manufacturing companies. The basic concept of suggested server is that it is possible to process concurrently the connection requests coming from data collector and client by using the facility of asynchronous notification of OS and protect a server against overload by using the thread pool.

Investigation of foodservices was carried out in 7 different day care centers in Gyeongnam area and no trition survey of their 481 children were undertaken between October 5 and November 3, 1994. The results were summarized as follows: Conditions of most equipments and facilities used in the kitchen were very defective especially in dishwashing and sterilizing step. Number of cooks and assistant cooks in foodservices was 1 or 2. Purchasing of foods and planning of menu were mainly done by the manager or the secretary. Menu was cycled weekly. None of the day care centers has empolyed a dietitian. Mean values of height and weight of children showed slightly over the standard of Korean children. Mean intakes of energy and all the nutrients from the lunch, which was served by day care centers, were below 30% of the Korean RDAs. Mean value of protein, thiamine and niacin were above 25％ of the RDAs. Intakes of Ca, Fe and Riboflavin were lower than the ones of other nutrients. It is suggested that dietitians should be empolyed to take care of meal services and nutrition education for the children.

Operation of LNG (Liquefied Natural Gas) plants requires an effective maintenance strategy. To this end, the long-term and short-term trend of faults, such as mechanical and electrical troubles, should be identified so as to take proactive approach for ensuring the smooth and productive operation. However, it is not an easy task to predict the fault trend in LNG plants. Many variables and unexpected conditions make it quite difficult for the facility manager to be well prepared for future faulty conditions. This paper presents a model to predict the fault trend in a LNG plant. ARIMA (Auto-Regressive Integrated Moving Average) model is combined with Wavelet Transform to enhance the prediction capability of the proposed model. Test results show the potential of the proposed model for the preventive maintenance strategy.
