This paper proposed a human body posture recognition program based on haar-like feature and hand activity detection. Its distinguishing features are the combination of face detection and motion detection. Firstly, the program uses the haar-like feature face detection to receive the location of human face. The haar-like feature is provided with the advantages of speed. It means the less amount of calculation the haar-like feature can exclude a large number of interference, and it can discriminate human face more accurately, and achieve the face position. Then the program uses the frame subtraction to achieve the position of human body motion. This method is provided with good performance of the motion detection. Afterwards, the program recognises the human body motion by calculating the relationship of the face position with the position of human body motion contour. By the test, we know that the recognition rate of this algorithm is more than 92%. The results show that, this algorithm can achieve the result quickly, and guarantee the exactitude of the result.

Without an accurate understanding of information needs of library users, an efficient services can't be implement. And we can expect that there is a difference between query statement and actual information needs of users. It also will occur difference in the process of librarian's interpretation of query statement because of an inaccurate presentation and their different working experiences. It means that there is a communication problems between users and librarians. The purpose of this study is to provide the techniques of face to face communication between users and librarians as a method of efficient library service activities. And focused on the importance of non-language communication. The effectiveness of this study are as follows: 1. With the understanding of information flow, librarians can expand the extent of library services. 2. Knowing that how to communicate with users at the a n.0, ppropriate degree, librarians can improve the communication techniques. 3. Expanding the satisfaction of information services and heitening the reliability of users. 4. From the analysis of user information needs, librarians can convert present system to the proper service-oriented system. 5. Knowing the importance of non-language communication, librarians can improve the service environment.

This paper proposes methods to extract face elements and facial characteristics points for face recognition. We select a candidate region of the face elements with geometrical information between them inside the extracted face region with skin color and extract them using their inherent features. The facial characteristics to be applied to face recognition is expressed with geometrical relation such as distance and angle between the extracted face elements. Experiment results shows good performance to extract of face elements.
This study is a one group pretest-posttest design study to confirm the effect of non-face-to-face Havruta's activities on communication competency, academic self-efficacy, and learning immersion of nursing students. The study was conducted from September to October 2021. The collected data were through self-report questionnaires of 69 student nurses. The data were analyzed by frequencies and paired t-test using SPSS 24.0 program. As a result, the subjects' communication competency, academic self-efficacy, and learning immersion were significantly increased after the non-face-to-face Havruta's activities compared to before. The results of this study can be useful basic data for professors who want to apply non-face-to-face Havruta's activities to their classes in the future.

This study is a comparative survey study conducted to explore the differences in learners' learning flow and learning satisfaction according to the non-face-to-face class operation methods implemented at universities. After implementing different class management methods for the same subject taught by the same instructor non-face-to-face for 15 weeks, each learning flow and learning satisfaction were compared and analyzed, and the collected data were analyzed with IBM SPSS 21.0. As a result of the study, learning flow was high in the order of lectures using real-time ZOOM and recorded lectures using self-studio(3.41±0.91, 3.28±1.01), and learning satisfaction was high in the order of lectures using real-time ZOOM and lectures using the automatic recording system of classes(3.40±0.80, 3.30±0.74). The item with the lowest score was the PPT audio recording lecture in both areas of learning flow and learning satisfaction(2.72±1.04, 1.73±1.04). Considering that system errors such as sound in the smart lecture environment operated for the first time in this study affected the research results, it is suggested that future research should be conducted by supplementing the corresponding part.

This paper includes an analysis of face recognition algorithm to design hardware and presents fixed point model in accordance with it. Face recognition algorithm detects the positions of face and eyes to make use of their feature data to detect and verify human faces. It distinguishes a particular user by means of comparing them with registered face features. To implement the face recognition algorithm into hardware, we developed its fixed point model by analyzing face feature parameters, face acquisition data, and feature detection parameters and operation structure.

We propose a face recognition and notification system that can transform visual face information into tactile signals in order to help visually impaired people. The proposed system consists of a glasses type camera, a mobile computer and an electronic cane. The glasses type camera captures the frontal view of the user, and sends this image to mobile computer. The mobile computer starts to search for human's face in the image when obstacles are detected by ultrasonic sensors. In a case that human's face is detected, the mobile computer identifies detected face. At this time, Adaboost and compressive sensing are used as a detector and a classifier, respectively. After the identification procedures of the detected face, the identified face information is sent to controller attached to a cane using a Bluetooth communication. The controller generates motor control signals using Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) according to the recognized face labels. The vibration motor generates vibration patterns to inform the visually impaired person of the face recognition result. The experimental results of face recognition and notification system show that proposed system is helpful for visually impaired people by providing person identification results in front of him/her.
Purpose: It is intended to investigate the satisfaction of dental hygiene students with non-face-to-face online classes and use them as basic data for successful lecture design and operation. Methods: The data collected in this study were analyzed using the lBM SPSS Statistics 21 program. The general characteristics of the study subjects were frequency analysis, non-face-to-face online class satisfaction, and test satisfaction were frequency analysis and technical statistics. Through the independent sample T test, a t-test was conducted to find out whether there was an average difference in online class and test satisfaction according to grade. Results: The advantages of non-face-to-face online classes were that repetitive learning was possible (57.7%), the disadvantage was that there was a lack of real-time communication (74.9%), and the most efficient teaching method was a mixed form of online and face-to-face classes (64.9%). The satisfaction level of online classes was 2.69 points for 'self-directed learning habits,' which was the highest compared to the overall average of 2.55 points, and 2.09 points for 'difficulty in interaction between instructors and learners in online classes.'Non-face-to-face test satisfaction was 2.68 points for 'short test time gives fairness to test results,' higher than the overall average of 2.45 points, and 2.07 points for 'no difficulty accessing the test.'In terms of satisfaction with the non-face-to-face test according to the grade, it was found that the third grade showed a more negative attitude than the second grade in terms of sexual fairness (p<0.05). Conclusions: Through the above results, non-face-to-face online classes require various content development and some mixed classes considering the level of students, and instructors' efforts to improve the quality of classes for interaction between instructors and learners are needed.

In this paper, we proposed a method for face region extraction by skin-color hue, saturation and facial feature extraction in natural images. The proposed algorithm is composed of lighting correction and face detection process. In the lighting correction step, performing correction function for a lighting change. The face detection process extracts the area of skin color by calculating Euclidian distances to the input images using as characteristic vectors color and chroma in 20 skin color sample images. Eye detection using C element in the CMY color model and mouth detection using Q element in the YIQ color model for extracted candidate areas. Face area detected based on human face knowledge for extracted candidate areas. When an experiment was conducted with 10 natural images of face as input images, the method showed a face detection rate of 100%.
