도시철도차량의 고가선로 비상대피 시나리오 분석 (Emergency Evacuation Scenario Study of Urban Metro Vehicle Running on Elevated Guideway)

  • There have been recently introduced new types of urban metro vehicles called LRT (Light Rail Transit) running on elevated guideway such as Uijeongbu VAL(which stands for V$\acute{e}$hicule Automatique L$\acute{e}$ger: Automatic Light Rail Vehicle) system, Yong-In LIM(Linear Induction Motor) system, Incheon international airport MAGLEV(Magnetic Levitated Vehicle) system and Daegu monorail system. Most of accidents by the vehicles are bound to happen on elevated guideway. Therefore, it is of vital importance to analyze hazards related to vehicles running on elevated guideway and study emergency evacuation scenarios applicable in case of accidents on elevated guideway so as to secure the safety of the new types of urban metro vehicles. In this study, FTA(Fault Tree Analysis) model was developed to identify all possible hazards, and all possible evacuation scenarios were studied. It was also confirmed that each hazard can be corresponded to one or more evacuation scenarios. This result shows that passengers can be evacuated according to one of the scenarios identified in this study in case of an accident of "Train Stranded on Elevated Guideway".

전투 시스템의 신뢰성 분석을 위한 FTA와 BBN을 이용한 2계층 접근에 관한 연구 (Two-Layer Approach Using FTA and BBN for Reliability Analysis of Combat Systems)

  • 전투 시스템은 다양한 적대적 환경에서 주어진 임무를 수행한다. 주어진 임무를 수행하는 능력을 높이기 위하여 전투 시스템의 신뢰성을 분석하는 연구가 중요하다. 대부분의 기존 연구에서는 위협을 고려하지 않거나 하나의 위협을 고려하며 구성 요소간의 종속적 관계를 고려하고 있지 않다. 본 논문에서는 전투 시스템의 기능에 대한 상실 확률을 도출하며, 이를 이용하여 신뢰성 분석을 진행한다. 제안하는 방법은 하위, 상위의 두 계층으로 나누어 분석한다. 하위 계층에서는 다양한 위협을 동시에 고려하기 위하여 FTA 기법을 이용하여 구성 요소별 고장 확률을 도출한다. 상위 계층에서는 하위 계층에서 도출된 구성 요소의 고장 확률을 이용하며 구성 요소간의 종속적 관계를 고려하기 위해 BBN을 이용하여 기능의 상실 확률을 분석한다. 제안하는 방법을 이용하면 다양한 위협을 동시에 고려하면서 구성 요소간의 종속적 관계에 대한 분석이 가능하다.

자연 노화된 니트로셀룰로오스의 수명에 관한 연구 (A Study of Life about Naturally Aged Nitrocellulose by Storage)

  • 10년 이상 보관된 니트로셀룰로오스 (Nitrocellulose, 니트로셀룰로오스) 재질의 화약용기 안전 검사를 진행하는 과정 중 화약이 보관되어진 용기에 균열이 발생한 것을 확인하여 고장 원인 분석 시험을 실시하였다. 고장이 발생한 데에 영향을 준 요인을 선별하기 위해 먼저 고장수목분석(Fault Tree Analysis, FTA)을 통해 고장 요인 및 원인에 대해 탐구하였으며, 보관 시 발생할 수 있는 내·외부적인 요인 및 환경에 대한 영향성을 확인한 결과 열에 의해 화학 반응이 가속화되어 발생한 화약용기의 물성 변화가 고장의 원인인 것으로 추정하였다. 이를 확인하기 위해 자연 노화된 화약용기를 이용하여 열충격시험, 양립성 시험 등의 환경시험을 수행하여 고장의 원인 분석을 수행하였으며, 가속노화시험을 통해 고장 재현 시험을 실시하였다. 이를 통해 앞선 고장수목분석 결과와 같이 열과 화약에 의해 화학 반응이 가속화되는 것을 확인할 수 있었으며, 화약용기의 물성이 변화하는 것을 확인하였다. 또한, 열 노화에 의한 수명 추정을 위해 아레니우스 모델(Arrhenius Model)을 이용하여 화약용기의 사용 수명을 추정하였다.

신규노형 원전의 발전정지유발기기 선정을 위한 고장모드영향분석 (Failure Mode Effective Analysis for selection of Single Point Vulnerability in New type Nuclear Power Plant)

  • For decreasing an unexpected shutdown of Nuclear Power Plants, Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power co.(KHNP) has developed Single Point Vulnerability(SPV) of NPPs since 2008. SPV is the equipment that cause reactor shutdown & turbine trip or more than 50% power rundown due to its malfunction. New type Nuclear Power Plants need to develop the SPV list, so performed the SPV selection for about 1 year. To develop this, Failure Mode Effect Analysis(FMEA) methods are used. As results of FMEA analysis, about 700 equipment are selected as SPV. Thereafter those are going to be applied to new type Nuclear Power Plants to enhance equipment reliability.

  • In this paper we deal with the APARP theory which has been applied for UK railway system and risk assessment method which has been using in the domestic railway system for the safety demonstration. Both techniques are applied to the ATP wayside equipment for interface. Also, fur the applications of each techniques a analysis of the safety activity and a possibility of the application of ALARP theory are evaluated. Finally, we generate requirements of the safety demonstration for the future domestic railway system by way of the analysis of some assumptions and requirement data which can be applied to the risk assessment of ALARP.

결함수 분석 (FTA) 기법을 이용한 어선 해양 사고 분석 (An analysis on marine casualties of fishing vessel by FTA method)

  • The most frequent occurring and the serious marine casualties in fishing vessels are the collision in statistics from Korea Maritime Safety Tribunal (2008-2015). Collisions are is given a great deal of weight in all marine casualties, and the main cause of collisions is the negligence of watching. From this point of view, this study deals with the collision and its immediate cause, the negligence of watching which are main factors on the indirect causes. Basic analyzing data was gathered from the questionnaire made by experts of sea service part, and analyzed by using the fault tree analysis (FTA). From the result of the study, the occurrent probability of the negligence of watching in the collision due to the indirect causes occupied 64.9%, and its probability caused by the man factors was less than the other factors; i.e. the media factors and the management factors. For the reduction of the negligence of watching in the collision from this study, it needs an effort to remove not only the man factors, but also the media factors and management factors.

전기철도 전철전력설비의 위험도 평가 기반 안전관리에 관한 연구 (A Risk Assessment Approach to Safety Management of Electric Railway Facilities)

  • Power supply system of electric railway has a diversity of safety problems since it should supply high electric power to the trains moving high speed with a lot of passengers on board. This paper provides a risk assessment approach to safety management of the electric railway facilities. Construction of database from field accident information, risk assessment and management of the risk are carried out systematically to ensure the safety. The risk assessment includes hazard identification, cause analysis by FTA(Fault Tree Analysis), consequence analysis by EVA(Event Tree Analysis), and loss analysis. In terms of the severity and the probability of the accidents deduced by these analyses, the risk of the accidents is assessed by using a risk matrix designed for electric railway facilities. Based on the risk assessment, possible risk mitigation options are identified and evaluated by analyzing their impact on the risk reduction and their cost benefit ratio. The long-term safety of the electric railway facilities can be ensured by renewal of the risk assessment and the risk mitigation option analysis with continuous accident database update. The proposed approach is applied to the electric railway facilities of Korean railway based on the accident data from 2002 to 2008.

  • Byteflight is developed based on RS-485 communication (an international standard), and it can be used as a data bus during the operation of an integrated avionics system in the latest aircraft. Therefore, the integrated avionics system can perform an effective and safe flight mission only when the accurate and seamless display of flight information, communication, and accurate functions of navigation are implemented. In this study, cause analysis and failure investigation were performed on screen abnormalities and communication interruptions due to signal interference in the Byteflight data bus of the integrated avionics system during aircraft operation. To improve signal interference between avionics units, the branch point and wiring path of the Byteflight data bus were changed, and the verification result of the improved method was also described.

  • This paper presents the selection method of Minimal Cut Sets(MCS) for substation reliability evaluation. We used the Quality solution in order to model the FT for the substation equipment. Quantitative analysis is performed to estimate the probability of top event occurrence and unreliability of the substation component. In this result, it means that reliability indices which can be predict get electricity services and better maintenance in substation management.
